Great coffee, we sat upstairs where they roast the coffee in house. Had the veggie skillet, was hoping for a bit of a healthier option, but unfortunately it was not, the veggies are swimming in cheese and hollandaise sauce. Tasted great but not a healthy option if that’s your thing. Also the onions were undercooked and pretty strong! Left the place breathing fire lol. Overall a good experience. Great atmosphere. Went around 6:00pm on a Saturday night and wish I hadn't. I wanted to place a take-out order, and when walking up to the counter to do so, with no one in line in front of me, it still took 20 minutes for someone to come take my order. I can't remember exactly how long it took for them to prepare my order, but it was about twice as long as usual. While I was standing there waiting I watched the one server who was actually helping customers, very rudely tell a group of 11 people that she did not have a table big enough for them so they would "have to deal with being all spread out". Following that I watched her turn several other groups of people away, 35 minutes before the restaurant closes. She turned away two groups of elderly people who could barely walk from there car to the door. If you are a restaurant that is going to stay open until 7:00pm, you should be letting people walk through the door until 7:00pm. Not a good experience!

On one occasion our food was undercooked because of how busy they were. And that is, to my observation, the Coffee Mill's greatest downside. They are so consistently good and offer such fair prices that they are often packed in the morning. But if you pick the right time to go, you're essentially guaranteed: wonderful service, exceptional food, and a great atmosphere. At least, that's been my experience each time I've gone. I also have to commend our server from a couple separate visits; Emily. She is fantastic! Patient, pleasant, kind... and always very thoughtful towards my 1 yr old. If I could, I'd ask for her every time I went in!

A delicious breakfast at a great price. We had to wait in line Thursday morning before entering. They were very busy but the staff were friendly throughout the visit. I had the French Toast Meal and the MTR Cappuccino. Your standard diner breakfast meal, large, low price, and delicious. Their coffee, just like their Mill Town Roasters location downtown is perfect.

Why!!!!! is every one raving about this restaurant..... Yes I could say the service is A-1 excellent....decor very nice .... But the food (breakfast) was average and quantity ...A little pricy.....2 eggs bacon, home fries, toast 6.99 but your coffee is not included is an extra $ 2.50 = $ 9.49 does not include taxes an tip...no beans or fruits it is extra.... I give a 3 stars only because of the service and cleanliness... Never will I return again not worth it.

It's been a few years since I've gone into the coffee mill, however years ago it was one of the few establishments that opened 24 hrs in Fredericton. The last time I had coffee here I received prompt and excellent drive thru. The restaurant has received much needed renovations since my last visit and they offer much more than coffee now. I normally get Starbucks or Secondcup when I'm looking for a caffeine pick me up, but the Coffee Mill offers a great full breakfast menu.

Service is a little inconsistent here. Sometimes the experience is great and other times it's a little sub-par. Sometimes the server is great and cheerful and pleasant and other times just seemingly not wanting to be there. That part I don't mind as much as I understand sometimes people are just having a bad day. The part that bothers me is the food is inconsistent. One day perfect pancakes, and the next time burnt pancakes and not even being asked if we would like a replacement.

Well today 21 apr 2018 I went to Fredericton NB coffee mill. Ordered coffee and a Greek omelette? Well the omelette was burnt on the inside with the tablespoon of feta cheese and a few olives and veg. So that’s find cutting away the 14$ egg that was burnt I continued to eat and was stopped by a PIECE OF WIRE FROM A WIRE BRUSH USED ON THE GRILL. I could have died today and your chief says oh take the omelette of your bill. Ok so find - BUT THEY DID GIVE ME THE BILL OF 2.88 for my coffee. What a shady outfit. I am going to the health suthorities.

The waiter acknowledged us once and we never seen him again through the entire service until we had to get the attention of another server. They were clearly prioritizing other duties. They didn't come back and check how things were going and their smiles and fake polite gestures were not convincing and almost insulting. Such a disappointment to see somebody employed at a job they so clearly dislike. If that's not the case that's the vibe they're giving off. Other staff were fine and saved the visit.

Recently stopped for a mid afternoon lunch..not crowded, very few customers..exceptionally slow server..ordered a liver and onion dinner, and a chicken Caesar salad. 1- asked for no croutons but extra bacon for salad..no croutons NO bacon 2- liver was swimming in an odd brown sauce -one thin greasy tiny piece of bacon -apprrox 1 tbsp raw onion -frozen peas microwaved into shriveled rockhard bullets.. - when asked 'how was everything', informed server of issues, was told ' oh, well don't worry about it..it's on the house' Sad. I've been a patron of the coffee mill since it's inception in the late 1970's and so disheartened by the cavalier attitude of the cook and service staff that I've determined to not return..sad

Really enjoyed the food and the to-go drinks, however I ordered a cappuccino with my meal and it took longer to arrive than the meal, which was a bit awkward when the rest of the table was getting refills on their drop coffee and I was still waiting for mine. Beans are also really good, I've used them for espresso and press coffee and I'm very impressed.

We must have decided to go on a bad day. There were a number of issues here at breakfast this morning. 1) We were placed in a section that was extremely busy despite other sections being open. Not very COVID safe. 2) We found two hairs in two separate plates of breakfast. We were so grossed out we couldn’t finish our meals. 3) We were going to complain but we couldn’t find our waitress so we ended up just paying and leaving. We found our waitress at the very who had evidently just returned reeking of cigarette smoke. We usually really enjoyed Coffee Mill in the past but today something was evidently very off at the establishment.

This was my first time at the Coffee Mill Restaurant. I searched Google for best breakfast in Fredericton, and this was one of the top three suggestions. I've tried and love Cora's but wanted to try something different and local. I did not regret my decision. I am a true fan of Eggs Benedict, and was instantly drawn to the steak and eggs version. I was especially excited when my wait staff asked me how I wanted my steak cooked. Each of the two Benedict's had a 4 oz steak cooked to medium rare perfection. So delicious. I will definitely be back to order this again, and maybe try some of their other dishes. The dark roast blend coffee was very smooth and roasted in-house. Very highly recommended!!!!

Last week my friends and I tried this place for the first time after always seeing the parking lot packed. We loved it..the food was great...very very good prices too...and the service was awesome. I've been back twice since and have had Kelcie each time for a server...she is the best!!! Nice decorations. Patio open in summer. The food is good. The staff are pleasant. Free parking. If you're going on a weekend, better call and reserve a table. On a Saturday morning, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The carpets in the second floor need vacuum; hence the four stars.

The waitress we had was rude and she did not seem to care about her customers. We said we were ready to order and she said I am just taking your drink order now. When she brought our food she did not ask if we needed anything and when we asked her for something before she ran off she huffed and rolled her eyes. Not impressed at all. She did not come back and see if we were doing OK after that either. I have never had such poor service in any restaurant. I wish I had gotten her name. Also when we got there we needed to move seats due to my son having back surgery and she made a big deal about the inconvenience of it. Food was fair but not very appetizing after that experience.

Me and my girlfriend came to eat here this morning and I was quite disappointed with the coffee mill. As I looked through the menu it just came off as greasy and cheap food, I was intrigued by the sweet and sour chicken to only found out it was chicken fingers with sweet and sour sauce on them, disappoint I ordered a burger and fries instead, but to my surprise the fries seemed to me like frozen McCain fries and yet again wasn't very impressed. The food was definitely worth the price for frozen but I guess I just expected more from the coffee mil

I go here very often and I have to say that the food is good. However I just called and asked if I can order two omelettes for PICK UP and the lady on the phone proceeded to tell me " the kitchen is just swamped right now so we cant make orders for pick up right now you can try calling later"... Customer service is terrible here. I tell everyone to stay away, they will just be disappointed! Coffee mill has gone down hill over the years. What a shame because it used to be good. The food is just okay.. steak is under cooked or over cooked and tough. I've also been told that they aren't a steakhouse and steakhouse is right next door at ringo's go there instead. They also dont bother to tell u that they dont have grilled Potatoes left over and they decide to deep fry them for you instead and not tell you until everyone has their food and they bring out yours as well.

This place is a spot you need to stop in at! The food is fantastic, the servers are very friendly and usually pretty fast as well. Bonus: breakfast is served all day! The prices are on the lower end. They have highchairs for infants! The only downside is that sometimes they're very busy and you're stuck waiting for a seat for 10-15 minutes, especially with a baby because they won't seat you upstairs if you bring a stroller.

Ordered belgian waffle with real maple syrup, over medium eggs and sausage with a coffee. Sausage was wrinkly like it was made yesterday and reheated in the microwave. This is not about the food because the food is a 5 ????. I arrived there around 10h 20 this morning to be exact with my friend. We both ordered breakfast and had a cup of coffee and they came to fill up our cups when they were both half full. So we both had a cup and a half of coffee each. She brought our bills around 11h45 and looked at her watch and said with a rude tone of voice : you guys have been here for 2h and we have a line up at the door so can you please move to the front table so you can chat there, something like that. Coffee Mill is next level! I was looking for a quick pick me up and pulled into the drive thru. As I got there I panicked for a moment, unsure if they'd have any plant based milks. I asked at the window and the staff member listed off at least four options! I was able to enjoy a delicious beverage and I'll definitely be back!

Their waiters do not communicate at all. Snappy woman downstairs told my son and I to go upstairs and find our own place to sit. When we found a spot it was obvious the table hadn’t even been cleaned and our waiter came over quickly and apologized right away and started joking around with us. The wait was sorta long but It was very busy. the food was good and the service was very friendly after that.

Good breakfast here, Mexican Omelette with wheat toast and orange juice and coffee. Staff kinda robotic, not saying much. Wait staff walk right by you with coffee refills, felt like just another tourist they had to serve.

Went there on 26th October 2021. Had the hungry man breakfast option. It was a huge and delicious portion of food. Liam, our server, was so amazing and delivered exemplary customer service. I give the food, the service and the environment 10/10. Definitely check it out if you’re in Fredericton! They had the best coffee in the city! Service is English only but it is a restaurant and a coffee shop together! I did not try the latte, but the coffee taste so much better than timmies! They have on high of the building, tables and chairs so you can see the view of Fredericton and see anything there like stores or restaurants and also see the sunshine! I recommend this place for people who live in Fredericton area or just visiting this city!

This was my first time at the Coffee Mill. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast of Steak Eggs Benedict (see photo). Each had a 4oz piece of steak cooked to my requested medium rare. I was offered the option of having my home fries grilled in a skillet or deep fried. I chose grilled but no onions. Everything was delicious. The waitstaff were very informative, helpful and friendly. Very highly recommended, and I will be returning next time I passed through Fredericton. And yes, the dark roast coffee was smooth and flavourful.
