In a Persian restaurant you would expect the pitas to at least be homemade, not cold pitas that seem to have been bought from a grocery store. Although the olive dip entree had good flavours, it was congealed and presentation was off. Falafel was mushy and bland instead of crispy and full of greens as it should be- fries and salad were soggy. Microwave beeping was heard several times during service, and service was very slow. Baklava was delicious- unfortunate because they definitely have potential ????

While staying at fredericton, I read about this cafe serving delicious and vegan baklavas. Located in downtown, I loved the vibe of this cafe reflecting such a positive and vibrant ambience. The food is complex, flavorful and an absolute pleasure to eat! You must try any and all meals that come with the house holy salad, the hummus is divine, and I would pay easily double for the sweet french fries. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Disclaimer; I am 100% not a vegan or vegetarian person. This food is genuinely just fantastic. My one issue? The Biryani was taken off the menu be wise not enough people are it! #bringbackbiryani2018

What a gem of a restaurant. I should have come here sooner. I've been living nearby for over two years now and have never gone in because of two main reasons. 1, there are many restaurants in the area, I'm still making the rounds. 2, like many meat eaters, vegan isn't my go-to. It's not that I don't like it, it's like jazz. I never hate it when it's around, but I'll never go to it on my own. Not going here was a mistake! It's very well designed and the staff are supremely friendly, but the food is of course the gem here. I never would have guessed the food here could pack such incredible and diverse flavours into their dishes. From the vegan burger to the walnut stew and the baklava, everything had us clamoring for more.

We came for lunch for the first time today. Had the falafel platter, a falafel plate, a stew, and the coconut cream pie. The food was tasty, authentic, and most importantly VEGAN!! :) We will definitely be back to try out other items on the menu. The server was very friendly too...didn't catch his name though. Great restaurant!

Cinnamon Cafe is no longer a hookah cafe (due to municipal smoking by-laws), so they have reinvented themselves as a vegetarian and vegan cafe. The food is extremely delicious, too. In fact, I'm confident that I've never had a better falafel in my life and that the same goes for their tabouleh. We all agreed that their hummus and homemade za'atar bread appetizer game was pretty strong. Finished with a Turkish coffee and the most amazing vegan dark chocolate orange-infused cashew butter cake. I will be returning soon for sure.

We drove an 1 1/2 hours out of our way, driving home, just because we heard there was a vegetarian Persian restaurant in Fredericton (my boyfriend is Persian&Vegan) it was worth every minute and every penny! So delicious. I would recommend the Gheymah stew.

My mom and I went to Cinnamon Cafe back in October. We weren't sure on what to choose, we debated on a few different options. Finally, we asked the server for a suggestion and opted for the Gheymeh Stew and wow... It was so so so delicious! With the small side salad it was just enough for both of us. Lately I've been thinking about this meal and I think its time I come back to visit and try something new!

Never ate at a vegan restaurant before but wanted to make the wife happy. Atmosphere is nice, could use a bit of touch ups but overall nice and relaxing. Food was good, tried the vegan burger with a drop of ketchup along some delicious thick homemade fries . Glad I tried it out.

Pretty incredible. Food was excellent and traditional from my perspectIve of eating at authentic middle eastern restaurants. The vegan twists to the dishes were excellent. Tons of flavour and I suspect meat eaters would do well here too with the shawarma. Update: My family has come here 3 years in a row as we road trip through Atlantic Canada. It is never a disappointment and seems to get better. Below is the shawarma wrap, the rice and green beans, and the tofu plate. Super delicious, as always. This family run business includes very warm and inviting service. Pleasant people.

Stopped here randomly on a road trip out east and my and my fiance were not dissapointed! We love middle eastern food and so we ordered some of our favourite dishes and were very impressed.The falafel was incredibly tasty with their homemade hummus and the salads were very fresh tasting with just the right amount of dressing. The staff were also very polite and we did not wait long at all for our food. Very solid choice if you are in the area and need a choice of restaurant that you can be sure you wont regret. Would definitely drive into town just to taste the food here again!

Service was slow and the waiter didn't articulate when he spoke. Allow about $ 15-25 per person. Otherwise, the place is very beautiful, it's charming! It's a shame because it seemed to be nice local place, but I won't be going back. (Original) J'ai mangé le gheimeh stew et c'était correcte. This place lives upto its name. Atleast with regards to the dessert dish we ordered. Substantial use of cinnamon. The order was an Americano, Turkish coffee, Golden dessert. The Americano was very spot on. Flavorful and no burnt bean taste in a appropriately sized cup. The Turkish coffee was ok. There were a few things added in there which muted the coffee taste. Usually I'm use to being offered additives in Turkish coffee (which I turn down). The result was a Turkish coffee that was way too sweet. Although points back for some very well ground beans. Golden dessert. This was a pretty delightful dessert. Flavor was overall a bit mild but good. The texture of the sticky rice with the flaked almonds and cinnamon all meshed well. It was easy to to share and nice to look at. Decor of the interior was nice with lots of art on the walls. The tables were a bit tacky (in a literally sense with plastic cover over the tables, and style sense). The seating inside was sufficient for the size of the establishment, not too sparse and not packed to the point where you are tripping on chairs. Service was excellent. Server was quick and nice.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Fredericton. A cozy place where you may find a variety of perfect home made vegetarian dishes. The cuisines here have been chosen from a nice selection of Mediterranean and pure Persian dishes. If you're here do not miss the very unique eastern dessert coming from a rich culture and a ancient tradition. Prices are fairly affordable in this level of desired quality. Staffs are really lovely and kind. Environment is very special and worse to visit.

What a find!!! Great food! Coconut dessert is a winner! Only complaint is that although the listing states the cafe is open till 9pm, the owner decided to close at 8:15pm so felt rushed. But that was a small sacrifice for such great food.

Its a small place but the food is so flavourful. Being a vegetarian in an unknown place can be exciting but challenging. Luckily i found a good option at this cafe. The dessert was great too. I could also meet the chef and have a conversation. The cafe also displays paintings by local artists which gives it a great ambiance. It is very centrally located on King Street so it is very easily accessible on foot or by bus.
