This is a must stop if you are in, or around Moose Jaw. We drive 1 hr just to come here. The servings are huge, and the food is amazing! The staff have a small town vibe, and really make you feel welcomed. Go to Deja Vu Cafe. You will love it.

I ordered the "naked" Sahara wings (mix of Montana Ranch and Garlic Parm sauces), sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The GF/un-breaded wings were an amazing flavour-a nice strong garlic taste with a touch of heat from the ranch. The sweet potato fries and dip were easily the best I've ever had. My partner ordered the Aloha wings. She also really liked the flavour. We shared a Key Lime Pie milkshake. It was to die for! My only problem was there was a bit more sauce than I prefer and that I could've done with 6 wings instead of 12. These are the biggest wings I've eaten outside of the States. I'll gladly return to try out different flavours of wings and milkshakes!

The best place to grab a bite with literally anyone! They have like 52 flavours of milkshakes or something and they’re absolutely incredible! My mom and I go here every time she’s in town! It’s our favourite place! It helps that they also have an enormous amount of dipping sauces for their chicken wings! You can never just pick one! Love love love!

WOW... I can’t believe how much flavour variety they have! When I sat down I was torn between what flavour of milkshake I wanted. Then I had to select flavours for the chicken strips(which were more like the size of chicken breasts). For what you pay you get a lot of food. Service was great and staff was very friendly. I’m a 6 hour drive from Moose Jaw but I may drive back just to hit flavour town again.

Disappointed! First time ever probably won't be back. Expensive for the portion size and so greasy. Gravy had no flavor. Coating on the chicken strips fell off because is was too thin and sat in the grease on the bottom of the basket. Paid extra for the sweet potato fries and you get half the portion of the regular fries. Delivered way below expectation ☹️

Staff was very friendly and courteous despite full restaurant of a large school group. Lunch boneless wing special is an amazing bang for your buck. $10 got us each 8 good sized wings and a big portion of fries. Food came out quickly and was very good!

Used to visit here in 2016-2017 because the food was good with many different flavors. I’ve been trying for YEARS to come back but EVERYTIME we come here, they’re closed. They close twice a week now but even on days that they’re supposed to be open, they close randomly. Who closes early right smack in the middle of supper time?! So annoying. Ugh.

Little expensive compared to other wings but you get what you pay for. Large wings, made fresh to order (not sitting in the back under a lamp), tons of flavours to choose from, and overall fantastic taste. I was full much faster than I would be with the tiny little wings you get elsewhere. Milkshake was awesome as well and crazy long list of options to choose from there. Chicken fingers were some of the better ones I've had in a while too. Definitely deserved of the hype I'd heard from friends.

Got the chicken dinner with 12 wings and I got with the poutine. Food was excellent, chicken done right and lots of sauces to choose from. My wife had the 22 meal and the breaded chicken was awesome as well and well seasoned. Staff were a bit lack luster, never seem to be in a hurry for anything. As it they just finished a marathon and they are in the cool down stage. But they were pleasant enough. Nice hole in the wall restaurant for sure and must if driving through or staying in Moose Jaw.

Everytime we go to Moose Jaw Deja Vu Cafe is a must!! Their milkshakes are sooo good, I had the banana milkshake with whipcream on top! I ordered the 44 special (4 wings/4 chicken strips) my wings had the Parmesan Garlic sauce and my strips had the Honey Dill...both were to die for!!! You can either have your sauce on the side or on your chicken, I prefer on my chicken. You also get coleslaw & fries with your meal, the fries are delicious too!! I can never eat it all in one sitting so I take it home and have it for leftovers, it's just as good heated up the next time!!!

Great milkshakes and fantastic wings. Every time I go I try to try a new flavor, but there are a lot (over 200) so it may take me a while. Definitely a place to try if you are passing through Moose Jaw. Consider getting one of their done in combos for 10$, or buy wings in increments of 12 or so. They will let you try different flavours in sets of 6, so ordering 24 wings will get you four flavours.

We’ve had family and friends rave about this place and after our experience I am only hoping that we got them on an “off day” as the fries were burnt and unable to eat, the chicken salad sandwich was about the only good thing ordered. When we first sat down the server asked us our drinks and my husband asked for a float and she ran to the counter and grabbed us a flavoured soft serve ice cream menu so my husband requested an orange soft serve with orange crush and she said “uhhh that’s not how our floats work” so we got a vanilla soft serve with orange crush and just stared at each other in amazement how his question ended up with a menu of soft serve. We had asked for another glass of water with lemon and a male server brought it to the table and my husband handed him mine for a refill and it never did come back to the table. The coleslaw that was also part of my husbands meal was brought out way before anything else and we just looked at each other wondering how to eat it as the table had no cutlery on it, just before the meals came out a different server set our table with cutlery. Small Mom and Pop shops need the most help now but when the service is as bad as that is I can’t support that.

This restaurant is terrific lots of food choices milk shakes were very good lots and lots of flavors chicken wings were super lots of choices to pick from and even if u want dry spices they have lots of those to. We need one of the places in Regina. I will be going back there soon staff friendly and very help full. also i forgot to mention those onion rings. Are a hit now those are onion rings. I wouldnt even drive to a A&W for there rings.

I love it! I have gone twice to Deja Vu Café, the same ones that I went to Moose Jaw. Everything was outstanding and there even was a student menu. They have like 100 kind of sauces - not exaggerating. They serve so much amount of food that people take home their leftovers. I wish I lived nearer to frequent this place!

One of my favorite restaurants. I make special trips to Moose Jaw from Regina just to eat at this restaurant. I really cannot say anything bad about this establishment! Be aware that this restaurant gets very busy over the lunch and supper hours. Be prepared for a wait or plan your visit accordingly.

I was given a referral, to stop into this chicken & milkshake stop in Moosejaw. I have to say I wasnt disappointed. The food was great, the waitress that helped us pick some items provided tasty recommendations and the milkshakes were fantastic. There is a large selection of dips and milkshake flavors. Just be cautious with those deep fried pickles...they're very hot ???? leave them to cool down a bit. Would recommend a visit when passing through.

We got there right before the rush! But still had to wait for a table we could use a high chair. I believe it was the owner who brought us a few fries for my toddler to nibble while we waited. The milkshake was great! I was disappointed in the chicken, we had the tenders and got the popcorn for my toddler. The fries are homemade and great! Overall it probably just wasn't a place for us. They definitely have a great following

The shakes were massive, smooth and creamy. Fries crispy and tasty. Wings were great. Tried the Apple Bliss, a sweet, apple butter bbq sauce, and Hickory Dillory Dock, a creamy honey, dill and hickory combination that was really unique and tasty. Had the wing dinner (12) and was stuffed by the end. Shakes so good went back the second evening and got two more for dessert to go. We shared a Cinnamon and a Banana Cream Pie. This after trying a Chocolate Marshmallow and a Chocolate Hazelnut our first night. All were really good, but we both agreed the Banana Cream Pie was far and away the winner

First time going. Apon entry was directed to sit at a table. Once seated the server asked what we would like to drink. Responded with we were just looking to get ice cream. Servers response “you just want ice cream?” with an eye roll and proceeded to walk away… sat for a few minutes no one returned. Had to go get an ice cream menu looked at it for a couple minutes still no one came back so we left. Guess they don’t want you eating just ice cream. Unfortunately I was there with my elderly mother in a wheel chair so it would have been nice to sit inside to eat it. Long story short I won’t be returning. Worst customer service I’ve received in a long time maybe the worst.

Was torn between a 2 or 3 star rating. It earns 2 simply based on the fact that I would not feel great recommending this place. Service was standard. The chicken is quite bland. The batter is a bit on the light side, with little spices. The sauces seem to be store bought and then mixed together haphazardly. It felt quite strange. Milkshakes are fine, but taste a bit artificial and light. My experience here was fine, nothing was wrong with the meal, but it felt a bit lazy and the fried chicken just isn't very good fried chicken.

The Deja Vu Cafe is an awesome little retro cafe in downtown Moosejaw. They offer so many flavours of milkshakes and wings. The girlfriend and I got 24 wings in 4 different flavours and the wings were huge. The milkshake was massive and it came in a metal container that they mix it in, so no waste transferring to a container. We could not eat all the wings so they let us take them home in a doggie bag. The retro vibe this place has adds to its awesomeness and I would highly recommend if you are in Moosejaw, that this is a must try restaurant. You can also order ahead for pickup or delivery. I believe there was a 5 dollar charge for delivery.

The chicken strips tasted like real chicken and the milk shakes are big and have a lot of different flavours. Only thing I didn't like were the sauces. There's a lot of them but they are all simply store bought. I feel that the sauce quality is lacking, especially for what you pay. Homemade sauces would make this place great.

First time visiting this place during my trip to Moose Jaw weeks ago. I got the Texas Ranch and the Chocolate Cheesecake milkshake. The wings were great and so as the milkshake. The place had a laid back atmosphere and the staff were courteous. They were also adhered to Covid protocols well during my visit there.

The chicken strips were very tender and nicely breaded, and the dipping sauces were tasty. The shakes are good too (100 flavours to choose from). However, the fries, Caesar salad and coleslaw were mediocre at best (fries were undercooked and tasted stale, the salad and coleslaw lacked flavour).

Saw this restaurant on You Gotta Eat Here and thought since we were passing through Moose Jaw we would give it a try. The four stars is for the milk shakes, they we delicious. I would give the wings threes stars. There was nothing really wrong with the wings but the dry wings needed a little more seasoning and the wet wings we choose were too wet for our liking. With so many wing flavours it is a little overwhelming, this might be a place you need to experiment with to find your favorites. We are glad we went. The staff were nice and attentive, I am sure next time we are in Moose Jaw we will stop in.

I've only been there once and their food was AMAZING! We chose the chicken wings w/ the sauce in the side, their honey bbq sauce was my favorite, and is anyone gonna mention their Iced tea?!? Their iced tea is different in a REALLY GOOD way it's better than any iced tea I have ever tasted. They have a variety of flavours and sauces. I was stunned when there were so MANY flavours of the milkshakes and I wished I could try one. Although the wait time was a bit long I really recommend going there

Their milkshakes are some of the best I've ever had (Mmmm. Key lime pie flavour!). Our server was SO friendly, & took care of our needs. The portion sizes were generous... & the chicken "strips" were very moist inside, yet crispy on the outside. It's not "heart healthy", but it's my favorite place to eat when I go to Moose Jaw.

Love Deja Vu!! They have always been amazing!! Amazing food, amazing milkshakes, AMAZING staff!!!!! Me and my partner ordered a while ago now but we are very indecisive people (lol!) so we were trying to figure out where we wanted to eat one evening at around 7:50ish, we called Deja Vu to ask what time they were open till, they said 8, we said okay thank you! We werent completely decided on it yet.. 5 minutes later and we decided, okay let's get Deja Vu!!!!! Now its 7:55 by the time we are calling them, and they were so polite and happy to take our order even though they were just getting ready to close!! (We felt super bad about being "those people" that order right at close!!!) But we were so impressed and excited that they took our order with no problem at all! I've always had a pleasant experience with them, dining in or taking out!!! Amazing everytime!! Plus, you cannot beat their flavors of sauces!!!!!!

If I say that they have a lot of chicken wing flavours, best believe me that they do! They all sound amazing, and I honestly want to try them all! I forgot which one I ordered, but the wings delish! The ambiance gives you a 60s diner vibe, as the photos of prominent figures like Elvis plaster the walls. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and man you really do have to try the chicken.

It is a bit on the pricey side. I went all out on my meal and it was ~$35 with tip. Not cheap especially considering it is kind of finger food. That being said. The portions are quite large! I only finished half of my 6 piece chicken strip meal with fries and coleslaw. With loads of different dipping sauces too! The milkshake was nice and thick and there's a plethora of different flavours! Definitely recommend it!

The menu is limited to chicken but lots of flavours are there for you to choose from. Soup of the day was cream of mushroom, a little less thick than what I like but good. Staff were friendly and the environment was pleasant. Fries were burned which disappointed me a little.

Literally the best home-breaded wings I've had anywhere in Canada. Incredible selection of flavors that will keep you coming back, and spicy options that are actually spicy. The homemade shakes are also delicious and a real rarity to find these days. Great retro atmosphere inside and excellent service.

Had an awesome experience at the Deja Vu Cafe. Our server Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. The food was awesome. We had the chicken wing/chicken strip combo. The sauce selection was crazy and fantastically delicious!! If you are in Moose Jaw and you are looking for a great diner- you gotta eat here! :)

We were driving to BC from ON, so specifically stayed in Moose Jaw to go to this restaurant. We asked the waitress what the specially was and she said that they really didn't have a specialty other than the milkshakes, we ordered a shake and must say they were amazing. We ordered the boneless ribs and were shocked when these little deep fried nuggets were placed at the table. They actually batter and deep fry beef, the meat was pretty leathery and tough. We could only eat a quarter of our meal and when paying the $52.00 bill for deep fried food, the owner was at the front and his reply was that we should have ordered the chicken. Apparently they do have a specialty, it's too bad that the waitresses did not know this!!

Went for dessert after a great dinner at Brown's, which was really good. We should have stayed for dessert. We ordered a black cherry ice cream and cheese cake bites. They took 5 minutes after we paid to tell us they haven't had cheese cake for hours. So I asked for the deep fried banana. After another 5 minutes the server asked us if we were just waiting for the difference to be refunded. We explained that we were still waiting for the banana while my girlfriend's soft serve and cherry syrup melted. 10 minutes later I got a flavour less and non chocolatey crusty banana.

First heard about this place from my friend and my grandparents decided they wanted to try it so we took a trip from Regina to go eat there. When we first got there food was awesome, portions were huge and price was perfect, this was about three years ago. Since then we’ve found it harder and harder to justify driving that far for the high price point of eating there. For comparison on how their prices have changed, the first time the 3 of us went out there I had the 30 wings, and my grandparents had 10 wings and fries, we all had soda and the total came to about 45 dollars. This last time we went out there I had 20 wings and my grandfather had 10 wings no fries and my grandmother had the strips with fries, 2 of us had water and only one had soda and the total came out to 70 dollars after taxes. I definitely recommend going and trying it but it’s starting to price to make a trip out there for us.

My friend and I came here for the first time today. The staff was so friendly. Our server took the time to explain the entire menu to us which helped a lot in choosing what we ate. They were prompt with getting our food out. We were checked on several times. The staff did not forget one thing down to giving us wet napkins just in case we wanted to wipe our hands down. The food was great, highly recommend the mozzarella sticks. 10/10 would go again.

I used to think "There's no good food in Moose Jaw", that was until I visited Déjà Vu Cafe! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but the food is even better! Seriously, I cannot say enough good about this place. It was so good, and so filling, that we had to come back later in the day for dessert... Which by the way, was also amazing! The chicken flavour menu is almost too big, so make sure you give yourself enough time to view it entirely BEFORE you order because there's bound to be multiple sauces you want to try.

FANTASTIC! The food was delicious, fairly priced, large portions, and the service was incredible! The 6-piece chicken strip meal was split between two of us which filled us up completely! Their sauces were INCREDIBLE!! You have to be adventurous and try the sauces. The milk-shake we tried was AMAZING! I normally do not like milk-shakes but I am definitely a fan of their milk-shakes!! A must try for anyone when visiting Moose Jaw!

The sheer combinations of milkshakes alone make this a good place for me. The chicken fingers and wings also have a multitude of sauce and dry flavors to try is what makes this place great though. It's worth the drive to Moose Jaw to get either wings or chicken fingers and a milkshake.

One of my favorite places to eat. Service was fast and everyone had a smile all the time. Food was about a 10 minute wait and tasted amazing with large quantity sizes. The portions are huge! I do find the price to be on the expensive side, but you do get quite a large portion and parking is sometimes hard to find. Overall great experiences at Deja Vu Cafe!

Both times, food was excellent as well as the waitresses serving the customers. Meal waiting times are spot on without having to wait for an excellent meal to enjoy. Prices are very reasonable. This is absolutely one place I recommend to all my family and friends, also help us get away from our two kids when we need a break and relaxed us with the setting they have inside the restaurant

No clue what's with the negative reviews, for my first time I think this place rocks. The portions are huge. Milkshakes very flavorful and delicious. Great homemade fries and chicken batter is so good, crispy but light. We definitely didn't need to order two meals, an appetizer and two milkshakes. But we're full and have leftovers for tonight. Definitely would come back again any time we're passing through town.
