Coffee here is the best I've tasted in town, really wonderful. Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is also great. Unfortunately, there's no wifi available so you'll have to connect to the nearby crappy wifi. Also no private bathroom, you have to use the public bathroom next door. I recommend going to the Humble Lion on Sherbrooke (literally 2 mins walking distance). It has wifi and the furniture is a little bit better but I guess that just comes down to personal preferences.

It's a gem located in the center of downtown, easy to miss. Great place for meetups and the coffee good. Had a nice latte and the staff are friendly as well. Would recommend checking out.

Okay guys. This cafe is the bomb dot com. (That’s right, I’m bringing it back.) First (and most importantly), the coffee is legit. I always get the filter coffee. But if the filter coffee is that good, I can only imagine how delicious all the other espresso drinks are. The staff are ridiculously friendly and they actually know about the coffee they’re serving. The baked goods are pretty yummy also. If you’re downtown and don’t want a starbucks, this place is the place to go.

Coffee is hit or miss sometimes but generally speaking good (can be bad if you order iced) but for the price, it rlly should be better made. Customer service was always pretty bad at this place - unfriendly, monotonic and at times down right disrespectful. Been here maybe 20 times plus and not planning to go back anymore.

Customers all have different tastes and needs, my humble observation would only echo those who appreciate your coffee and would like the aroma to accompany them a little further in their daily adventures. My mother discovered this absolute gem when she would stay at a hotel nearby when she was visiting me in Montreal. The staff are absolutely lovely and they make a great chia latte! I recently moved away from Montreal but was back for a visit and it is nice to know that they made it through the pandemic!

Have been a regular at humble lion since moving to Canada 4 years ago. Today I go in and ask for a latte with half 1% milk and half 3.8% milk (because they don’t have 2%), as I have been doing at the other humble lion and practically every other coffee shop I’ve ever went to. The guy tells me we don’t mix milks, I told him I always ask for that, he tells me “I’m the manager here and we don’t mix milks”. I had a bad day and all I wanted was a latte then this guy comes and ruins my day even more. I don’t understand some people...it’s like he has a power trip or something...did I ask if you were the manager? All I can say is I am disappointed. Never been told I can’t have my latte with 2% milk. Ridiculous - this guy should be fired.

The definition of over-priced snobbery. I didn’t get a chance to try the coffee. I came in this morning, 7 months pregnant, and in spite of charging $5 for a 10oz latte, the barista refused to make it half caff for me.. he said he didn’t have a recipe !!!
