Nice environment, friendly staff and good coffee. There are tables outside for those who want to be outside for safety given the Covid pandemic. They also have some nuts and sweets one can have on the side with their coffee. The only thing is that I asked them to make my latte very hot but it was not. But overall I enjoyed my time there and will go back.

Top notch coffee shop! Discovered on my first day in Montreal and came back every morning. Their house blend, used for the espresso- based drinks, has a very soft taste with cocoa notes. Beautiful interior (check out the artworks), great selection of pastries and ice cream and such friendly service. If you download their app 'Café faro', your 8th coffee will be free. The seating is very nice and comfy, perfect for a relaxed start to the day or a chill break in downtown. As the name suggests, they roast beans from all coffee growling regions themselves (in a different location).

Faro is my favorite café in Montreal. The coffee is consistently amazing, tastes fresh and is always prepared just to my liking. Brownies are out of this world. Pastries are also fresh and taste incredible. The vibe is great, music is always mellow and smooth and there’s no need for headphones to focus on your reading as the café is almost always so, so quiet! Wonderful place!

I am giving the staff a 5star! Dont get me wrong, i also fell for the gorgous interior and good taste of the owner for the style of this café! However the quality of what you get here is not exagerating to say it's terrible! I did npt believe my eyes to discover that the HOT CHOCOLATE here is a total rip off!! Its simply a Quebon chocolate milk???? with steam water! And i am not kidding! Basically imagine walking into a depaneur and asking a glass of chocolate milk! I felt so disrespected for having this terrible cup of steamed milk chocolate sold to me as a Hot Chocolate! Zero integrity! This is cheap service for cheap clients who dont care what they drink or eat!! I dont even need to say the chocolatine was a hard "bread" that looked like a chocolatine!!

I was excited to try Faro based on reviews posted here. Place looks great, but coffee and pastries were disappointing. Not the level of quality & taste you expect from a local coffee shop in Montreal. Cappuccino & Moka tasted like filter coffee with syrup and the almond croissant was dry. Café Myriade which is a 30-second walk away is a way more satisfying option.

I came here with couple of friends.. i had my juice from another place (which is not acceptable I know but we were not planning to come here after) anyway my friends ordered stuff and we sat down.. the lady told me it is not acceptable which I totally understand..
