I have never had a bad meal here, the food is fantastic and the staff even better. They have a great variety of options to choose from for everyone. From vegans to vegetarians to meat lovers, there always something available and delicious. Staff are super accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions and always understanding. Many staff are also very friendly and do a great job serving you. I highly recommend for a great place to enjoy an awesome meal!

It’s a pretty standard Montana’s. Great place to bring kids as they can scribble all over the tables in crayon and make a huge mess in general. They also have special deserts for the kids. Steak and ribs are almost always good. The only persistent issue is with the sides for the steaks (baked potatoes, etc). They are often not as high food quality as the meat. That’s every Montana’s I’ve ever been to though, so no big surprise.

Usually so good but service tonight was awful. No check in from the server after our food was brought out. I had spinach dip and my pita chips were really oily- like they were taken straight out of the deep frier and onto my plate. Wasn't asked for drink refills, plates weren't taken away when we were finished. We were left to just sit at the table for a long time. Very disappointed. Usually so great.

Front staff were very freindly, big smile and greeted as soon as qe entered. Cleaning staff were hustling to clear tables. Servers were excellent. Fast and friendly service. Watched servers buzz around restuarant with food and drinks. Food was great. Came out fast and hot. Meal portions were huge. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, even all four toddlers. Highly recommend. This reaturant was on the ball at the peak of dinner.

I find this restaurant to be one of a kind. I do like the theme they have and the paper on the tables for people to draw on. I do feel it is over rated as I went there three different times and did not enjoy the food. The rib night special was something a lot of people suggested however when we tried this, the ribs were all fatty. This is not a place we will return to.

Very disappointed Took the inlaws that are in their late eighties so thought it would be safe. Plus Montana ' s in AB is usually pretty good. Not this one. So condensed version. .I ordered steak..duh..which was an epic FAIL. Asked for rare..got steak tar-tar..quite blue rare and ice cold..same as my brother-in-law, he ordered med and got very rare. Service was very slow for so few customers and to be fair it was just our server..took 25 mins to get my drink and I had to ask multiple times..he maybe had 2 other tables. Good thing my husband paid and not me or buddy server would have gotten no one penny in tip. All around very disappointing. .shame.

I was very disappointed in the quality of food. It tasted old and or out of date. I only ordered nachos. There was no cheese to speak of on it. When I brought my dissatisfaction the waiter, he said his supervisor apologized and offered me half off. My partners meal was not any better as his steak was tough and food was warm only..... this was not brought to the attention of the waiter however.

It's a chain restaurant. The food is good, the service is good, and the atmosphere is the same in all locations. The menu is a bit pricey, but it is a good treat. The steaks and similar dishes are very good, and I recommend them.

Great food as usual. The service is usually on par-but watch out for the male bartender. He was our server for the night(for food-no alcohol was ordered) and was so unprofessional. He never refilled our water and never stopped by until it was time to pay. We had CAA membership for discount and also wanted to redeem Scene points. He had difficulty doing so and took our phone from out table to “get the card number” which he wrote down already. To top the night off when we went to pay the remainder owing he wanted total control of the debit machine and kept asking for our payment card. We asked to insert instead of him tapping. He got mad, threw the machine on the table and walked away. We noticed he had tried to enter his own tip into the machine without our knowledge. Very unprofessional in my opinion. How many others has he possibly scammed out of money.

Went into the restaurant as a family and for ONE my app was cold as ice. Then 45 minuets later we all get the meals. Two my main meal was cold!! i sent it back and i had to take it home with me to eat. They never even offered me anything for this. I just sat there and watched them all eat. Went there for my Birthday in December and I still can’t shake off the bad service we got that night. You could clearly see that the waitress was annoyed to be there. She asks the little boy at the next table a question and didn’t even let him answer she cut him off. That’s when I knew this was going to be interesting. First of all I asked for my steak to be medium well, she heard rare....(i was extremely polite and nice when I told her it want cooked enough) I had to sit there and watch my husband and son eat for 20 minutes until I got my plate back. They were done eating when I got mine. And my very shy child got the courage to tell the waitress it was my birthday because he wanted to see his mother with the horns on her head. Imagine my embarrassment when I had to remind her it was my birthday before we left, because I didn’t want to disappoint my son. She then rolled her eyes and left to get the crew.

I have been to Montana's quite a few times with different people. There hasn't been a time we didn't enjoy it. A friend and went there for lunch one day and it ended up being the same price as a popular fast-food restaurant except Montana's menu was tastier. My husband and I went tonight. He said it was the best ribs he had ever had. I had the buttermilk chicken. Yummy!! To top it all off, all of the staff are so friendly and helpful - always with a smile on their faces.

Well, where to start...as a person with celiac disease they were unwilling to accommodate my requirements inorder for me to eat in this establishment. My son and partner recieved their meals however I was not alerted that there was an issue until they recieved their food!!! The only meal that they would make me was a green salad which was unacceptable to me. I then sat there without a meal while everyone else ate. We will not be going back again. The server was wonderful and apologetic however the chef refused to speak with me (keep in mind it was not busy at this time) in order to enable me to eat with my family. So very unimpressed in general. I understand that not all allergies are easy to accommodate and I am a very easy going person, this however upset me greatly. On cleanliness, the restaurant was very well maintained. Clean floor and adequate Covid-19 protocols in place.

I decided to give this place one more chance and was again disappointed with the over-all experience. Upon arriving we were not greeted with sincerity, or a great attitude. Our server didn’t have a great attitude either and seemed on edge. A lot of the staff were chatting amonst each other and we waited quite a while a few times. It was not busy. The staff need through training on customer service, organization and how to present themselves in a positive manner. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable and not at all enjoyable. Food was good, but wasn’t worth the experience. We won’t be back, unless proper training is done in the future.

We used to like eating at Montana's in Prince George but our experience on March 27 was our last time. We were a party of three adults and two young children, yet we were seated in the bar. I found that odd, but gave the benefit of the doubt as it was lunchtime and maybe there were no spaces on the other side of the restaurant. Then it took ten minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. When at last she arrived with the drinks she took our food order and promptly ignored us after that. Then we waited and watched new people be seated, get their drinks, order their food and receive their orders. And, we continued to wait for our food. To add insult to injury, the server who seemed too busy to check on us was making small talk with the other tables while not even looking at us. When the people who came in after us started to leave, having eaten their meals while we still had not received ours, I started trying to get any server's attention, as our server was still ignoring us completely. I finally succeeded, and within a few minutes he started to bring us food. My children had waited 45 minutes by then and were quite hungry. The final indignity was that my chicken wrap (which I had ordered many times before) was substandard, cold and rather than having chicken breast it had cold chicken thigh. Our original server returned and offered a feeble, "sorry for the wait". I worked in the food service industry so I try to be sympathetic, but this was all too much. We will vote with our feet and give our money to other restaurants who value our patronage.

Montana's is a gem I wish I'd discovered sooner. A mixed menu with default pub style food, but with a great valued lunch combo that extends until 4pm for a great price. Friendly staff and quick service even when busy makes this a new favourite, while signing in to the free wifi for the first time will get a customer a free appetizer on signing up for their deals, with other freebies to follow.

We had concern about the portion of their food, so we called the manager. But don't try to complaint because the manager talks too loud that everyone will hear her and knows that you are complaining. She is not friendly at all.. As if you are complaining because you are after the discount, because she keeps on saying I can give you discount, I can give discount. Didn't even go into details on why the portion is too small.. when she speaks it felt like she is yelling at you and it was your fault.. never coming there again.. Mr. Mike's Restaurant has the better service...

Woefully inadequate. Ordered the six bone ribs with fries. A plate full of goo covering cold ribs along with cold soggy fries. I struggled to find any meaningful amount of meat on the ribs. Needless to say Montana’s is not on my list to rush back to for a good rib meal.

ORIGINAL: December of 2018 Unfortunately highly overpriced, low service, and very busy. Waited for over 40 minutes for a burger, the place was PACKED, and our service was barely average. Not very happy,never got my salad before the entree it came with meal, we were a party of 5 and one of our party asked for his steak rare it came well done, he sent it back and when he got his 2nd steak back it came back med well so we cancelled his meal cause we had a prior engagement we had to go.We were there for 1 hr and 40 min and when he got his 2nd steak the fries were cold . Unfortunetely I received a gift card for the restaurant so I have to go back but if the service and meal is like tonight we will not return .

We were there today on July 6 to celebrate my wife birthday with the family who drove 3 hours. Has usual we order drinks and lunch... 20 min goes by and the waitress never show up to see if we want a refills. After 45 min people on each side of the table received their food and was almost done and none yet. My 14 month daughter was hangry because she was starving but nothing we can do. They brought the lunch medium cold and apologized but not much more was done. Arrived at home and found out 59$ over charge bill which my step father didn’t look closely. Had to drive back 20 min and manager let the waitress who was Bad service handle that sh**. So sad that we were there to celebrate and even told the waitress about a cake or something and of course we will have other something more for us. At the end nothing so by the management... I do work in service for god if I turn to be like that! I will quit!!!! Food is always good but service that day Horrible

Went there with about 5 of our friends for our regular " Wing Night" Looking for a change, Ordered the Cilantro Chicken, Which came with rice and vegetables. My Chicken tasted like it was cooked a day or two prior, Rice was hard and undercooked, and vegetable medley was cold... although it looked like it was supposed to be served hot.... when the server came around to ask how everything was, I explained to him how my dish was cold, undercooked and chicken tasted rewarmed, he pretty much said " Oh... Well Sorry, That Sucks.." And walked away. Talked to a manager as well and no luck. They removed my barely touched plate from the table without offering a change of dish or refund. If I wasn't so buzzed and happy from the drinks our group was ordering I may have walked right out. Highly Disliked the lack of customer appreciation there. They didn't care about our experience at all. I may return in the future in hopes of a better experience but if anything like that happens again , ill be raising hell.

Twenty minute wait. Was fine, it was obviously busy. Seated ordered our drinks after a minute. Some 7minutes later my girlfriend got her drink. About halfway through her drink I got mine, finally took our order. Food came out pretty quick, manager missed us and went back to the kitchen. This didn't bother us. It was nice to see someone trying for good service. The food was pretty good... But no one gave us any cutlery or napkins. We figured we'd wait until I got a refill... After 5mins I got impatient and went to look for some napkins. Stood at the bar... Felt invisible. Wanted to ask for real napkins... Settled for cocktail napkins I took from the bar. By this point I'm pretty sure you would be mad... We were. The price is a little high for this kinda of service. I don't see us going back anytime soon

Was disappointed our waitress spent more time talking to her friends then helping the table.My chicken burger had brown lettuce and was sent back. They asked if I wanted it re made but I wasn't pleased so I said no and they didn't take it off the bill and they only took 15 % off when I didn't even eat it. We had asked for refills on our drinks and never received them. We waited almost an hour for food when it wasn't even busy smaller tables were served way before we were. The service was absolutely terrible. I have previously eaten here before and never received such bad service as I received tonight. I don't recommend or will be returning to this establishment.

I’ve been going to Montana’s from Ontario/New brunswick for more years than I care to mention . Yesterday was awful!!! We had undercooked fries ( few as they were) Cheese dip which was dry as hell and end of bag stale nacho crumbs, the pita was burnt and stale as well. Waitress was really nice ( until we said how awful the food was ) she instantly had a mood swing!! Later that night we went to Old Triangle and had a fantastic meal!

I took my daughter out to supper on Sunday evening. The restaurant was NOT busy and our waitress came over, printed her name on the table and took our drink order, water and diet pepsi. When she came back, she advised us that they told her to go home. It was 7:00pm. Another waitress came over and seemed somewhat annoyed and took our order. My daughter and I played hangman and drew on the paper tablecloth and eventually I looked at my watch...we had been waiting for nearly an hour for a "fish and chip" order and "chicken tacos". Another of the wait staff, brought us our food and it was COLD...the chicken in the tacos was as cold as if it had been sitting in a refridgerator and my fish was hot at one end and cold at the other and the cold end, tasted burnt. Meanwhile, our original waitress was still in the restaurant. I'm not sure what was going on but it wasn't nice to sit and wait and be so disappointed. We asked the hostess what could be done and she practically ran away and finally caught the eye of the manager who did come over to our table, didn't introduce himself and when I told him or our concerns, he offered to have our meal refired, right away. We politely declined and he said that he would not charge us, for our meal...I said..'that's right, you won't"!! How is that keeping a customer? We do go to that restaurant, a lot and usually as a group of 10 or more. In this case I would expect that our NON eaten meal would be free and that we would be issued a gift card to ensure that we would go back and to tell others about the fine appreciation that Montana's has for it's clientele. But, we were not offered anything except to sit and wait for them to get it right. We left and went to Boston Pizza and had our HOT meal withing minutes. Very disappointed!!

Came here for supper with my family and should have got up and left. We are a family of 5 with a 2 year old so we asked for a both. They said no booths available I pointed to an empty booth said what about that one, the hostess said that both is for party of 6. I said okay so they put 3 tables together to seat us as our 2 year old is getting upset trying to sit in a chair and wants to sit closer, the same hostess sits a party of 3 at the booth I asked about 5 minutes just before. As a business manager right away I think tie up 3 spots for clients is not smart when you could have used 1 booth. The food came out slow and cold which happens here often when you order kids meals. The waitress was friendly but a nice attitude does make up for a night that when you get the bill and in the tip spot I want to write negative 65. Everyone says how places like burger King on mountain Rd, are just a fast food spot but 1000% better customers service. FYI to the manager I'd fire your hostess I was here at 445 pm at she lost you customers.

Popped in for a late supper. The chicken was evidently warmed up, either on the rock plate or in the microwave beforehand so each bite was different in temperature. The place was moderately busy, but the servers seemed to be busier than they were. I'm not judging the service so much as the food and drinks. Everything was incredibly pricey and not that amazing. It's also really hard to eat here as a vegetarian (I know it's a steakhouse!). I would probably pick a different place to go if I was going out for drinks or meeting up. Their tables were also not incredibly intuitive to big groups. They still do the birthday song though which is really cool. 3 stars because it's very average.

Mine were very wide and meaty and cooked just right. When I asked about this, I was told that they get different sized racks of ribs and just serve them as they come. That isn't acceptable to me.

The service is usually not very great but tonight everything was terrible. It took far too long to get a drink. The ribs tasted like they’ve been left on the counter all day. The gravy was cold. It looked like the cap fell off the seasoning shaker when they seasoned the chicken bites there was just too much. I can understand if someone orders 8 appetizers and wants to take them all home but if someone just wants to take their leftovers of one or two home make sure you tell them before they order that they either need to leave them or pay full price. I’ve never complained about terrible food or service before but I couldn’t hold back. It’s never been a great place to eat but now I’m certain it’s terrible. I will not suggest this to anyone

Restaurant is fairly busy most days of the week. Expect a 30-40 minute wait at peak rush time on Friday or Saturday evening (6 - 7:30). No real big surprises so if you visited a Montana's before you won't find anything unusual. That is the appeal you know what you're getting. It can get busy so if you don't like a lot of people you might want to steer clear but besides that it's a good experience.

We went for dinner on a Tuesday, not overly busy there but our food took forever to come after we had our appetizers. Food was just average. Nothing stood out for flavour. My daughter had the chicken caesar salad and it had so much dressing that it was soggy half way through her eating it. My shrimp were so over cooked but my steak was decent. My husband ordered the ribs and I thought they would have been way meatier considering that's what Montana's is all about? For $180 before tip for 5 of us to eat? Compared to most Montanas, this place is place is poorly run. I get having a bad server, which we had. Never asked if we wanted a refill. But the bar was poorly run, giving out dry (probably day old) limes. The kitchen management needs help, giving out incorrect orders, or delivering starters with the main meal, at the same time. The saving grace, the food was tasty. In its current state, I would not recommend.

Well considering it was well after the lunch rush on a Father's Day Sunday, I have to admit I was less than impressed with the delivery of the food from order time to tabling. The quality of the meal was not what I have come to expect from Montana's. The meat portions were scarce and what was on the sandwich was dry and overcooked. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of our visit, so things should have been great. The table service was great, the kitchen dropped the ball during this visit. When your kids choose to take you out to celebrate Father's day, you don't pick that time to complain about the food... Was very impressed by my kids, not impressed with the kitchen...

Many walked by my table laughing with Each other while on their way to the kitchen and didn't bother taking dishes. IMO the bar tender should not be serving tables except at the bar and the waitress/waiters should have been trained better. Probably will not come back to this location.

This place has amazing BBQ meats, from pulled pork to ribs and brisket. We had a combo platter of these three which came with choice of potatoes, rice or fries, gravy, garlic bread and corn bread. Everything was delicious. The wait time was average, staff was friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy just GREAT FOOD!

Had an amazing chicken burger combo today . My daughter got a hamburger platter . She did not care for the burger taste so she just ate the bun with lettuce and mayo and her fries . When the owner was notified by the waitress that my daughter didn't like her burger he personally came to the table and apologized he took her meal off our bill asked if she would like something else however she was full cus I shared some of my delicious chicken burger with her and also he gave us certificate for out next visit . I was so pleased and amazed by the service and kindness that was shown today . We have always been happy with Montana's food and service and today just topped it so amazing. Thank you so much for your kindness you did not have to do all that for us .

I was actually quite disappointed I ordered the steak sandwich for $17.99 and when I received it it was basically raw after after asking for it to be medium rare. I then had to wait for another to be prepared only to receive my meal when the rest of my party were 90% finished there meal. Then I found the second steak sandwich to be extremly tough. Not to add what I had understood from the menu was to have melted cheese was in fact a mayo type of Chipotle sauce. Another one of my party ordered to cob salad which was supose to contain chicken only to discover they forgot to add the chicken. Over all I will be a long time before I return. My bill with two drinks came to a total of $34.00 dollars. For that price I could have fed MY SELF and another at a different establishment. I work hard for my money and the rare time I go out to dine then only walk away disappointed. ????

I've been fortunate to visit numerous Montana restaurants, so I was excited to see Prince George was getting one. My first visit wasn't a great experience but that was opening week and, while I was very disappointed in both the service and attitude of the staff, I thought it fair to give them a second chance. My second visit was Saturday March 17, 2018 and while the food was decent everything else was even worse then my first visit. The servicer was particularly slow but it was her attitude that sealed the deal. We waited for absolutely everything and she did not even pretend that we were of any importance to her at all. When we first arrived it was fairly busy (2-3 Table wait). While we waited the 30 minutes we actually had people who were exiting telling us not to go in because they had been treated poorly. (More colourful but harsher language was used). I wish I had my phone with me to video the two guys who came out to sweep the sidewalk. Never have I witnessed so little effort put into anything, that of course was until I got inside. We waited for absolutely everything. 20 minutes before she even bothered to come to ask if we wanted anything, another 15 to get drinks and order, 30 minutes to get our food and another 5 to get cutlery for the table.(while our meals sat there getting cold). This all while I witness her lackadaisically chatting with her co-workers etc. There was plenty of staff around, maybe even too much becasue they spent most of their time visiting with each other and seem to have forgot what they were there for. Our server only came back to our table after we asked 3 other staff to send someone, and then she appeared annoyed that the entire table was wanting a second drink (after 40 minutes from the first one). I won't be back until I see a sign that says "Under New Management" After another 20 minutes waiting for our bill I told her that "I was very underwhelmed with the service", she said "Well it was kinda busy", I said yes but that was an hour ago and now have the table s are empty and we still can't get service to which she just shrugged and walked away. We waited another 10 minutes for Visa machine. They won't have to worry about it being busy for too long. None of the 6 of us will be going back ad from the comment form the other tables I'm pretty certain that there are many others with the same feelings.

Came here 3 times. 1st time, took almost 2 hours to get our meals. But I their defense as well, we were having fun enjoying each other's company and when we actually noticed the odd wait for our food, it was just arriving for 4 ppl. 2nd time they completely goofed on the billings but server squabbled with us it was all our fault in end an we left it at that an no tip. 3rd time... wife's meal an our 2 guests meals were served. 2 under cooked, returned, and came back before my salad even came to me, and the salad was wrong sent back and still took another 30 mins to come back to me after that. I finally got to eat an hour after the test finished eating. Haven't been back since. Maybe sometime in future we will co sider trying again.

If I could I would give zero stars. Last night went there for my birthday dinner ordered a $30 10 ounce steak with a skewer of shrimp. I ordered the steak to be done medium when it arrived to the table it was cold and cooked blue. I sent it back to get a re-fire and when it came back at least it was warm enough to eat. I did not receive the skewer of shrimp yet I was charged for it. The restaurant was not busy, the service was slow, and my meal was very disappointing. I called back to the manager this morning to request a refund as I remembered I did not get the skewer of shrimp. I was only offered a store credit, a store credit does not do me were in good because I will never eat there again. Wishing we would have gone to Mr. Mike’s!

We were told about 20 minute wait so we took their pager and patiently waited. After waiting 50 minutes we noticed second couple that came in after us was seated. I went to the confusion at the entrance and they seated us next without and apology or acknowledgment of a mistake made. My girlfriend and I ordered the same back ribs (more expensive because was told they were better quality ribs) Both were not fall off the bone and dry. For the price of 50+ dollars with a few pop definitely expect better. We tried Montanas Fredericton yesterday with same result!! Whatever has been changed it is not in favor of customer. Was our favorite restaurant in Moncton but no longer. Think that was our last visit.

Friday night around 6pm so the restaurant is fairly busy. Went with a friend and 3 kids. They messed up one of the kids order. She wanted a poutine but got fries. Then they tried to give us someone else's order. Finally the adults get their order. Mine is messed up and have to send it back and my friends meal ..well it did not look appetizing. Her chicken sandwich was drenched in some kind of sauce. The waiter kept apologizing and he did admit he was responsible for one of the mix up. I won't be back again. Too many mistakes and good was just ok nothing to rave about.

Would highly recommend. Came in with my daughter and sat on the lounge side during lunch as the dining side was full. This was no problem as the manager brought paper and crayons for her to draw. The 1st time it was no problem. The 2nd time the kitchen put spice on and the manager had to intervene to get a steak without the spice. Tonight it was not possible to get a sirloin steak without spice. Just. Not. Possibe. I'm happy with my (not steak) meal but I'm puzzled by what's happening in the kitchen.

Very small portion, my food was cold once I got it. My drink was empty for more the 20 mins. Had to wait for a table for 20 mins but the most of the table where empty and filthy....and someone pissed on the wall beside the urinals. The best part was watching the bartender staring at nothing for 10min. Yup I'm not going back even if I'm starving and some else is paying for it.

A fast paced, exciting venue for interesting food. We have eaten there several times, and it has always been busy. They do not take reservations. Food wise, ribs are their specialty, and, according to our friends, for good reason. My wife and I had their on-sale steak special. It was only average and disappointing to us. To us, their medium rare steak was more like rare to rarer than rare. The service is quite good. So, overall they get a 4, especially if you like a fast paced, busy venue with great ribs.

Food was good. Service was poor. There was no cutlery or napkins at the table when we were sat down. Our drinks came at different times. The manager who brought our food out didn't know the layout of the restaurant and walked passed us twice with our food. My boyfriend had to go find us napkins, no one asked if he needed help when he was standing at the bar ( he ended up just grabbing some he found). And at the end, we had to ask for our change as we weren't tipping.

Food is usually pretty good, however the service needs improvement to make it a place you want to come back too. Several times now I've had servers who do not come back in a timely manner to take orders, for first drinks and seldom come back to refill drinks or check on our dining experience. On one occasion we had a group of 6 and when our server found out that we were having just appetizers and no alcohol we were left for over 10 minutes before we could order our drinks and food. Our appetizers were dropped off and we weren't checked for over 40 minutes after. No refills, nothing. I've been with a group of 20+ and we only had one sever, please get an additional server for groups so large.

Big fan of Montanas menu. Do yourself a favor and call ahead for reservations though because it can be very busy at suppertime and on weekends. Because of this, it can be quite loud to the point you have to talk louder than you typically would. The wait time was a little long but the place was packed so that can be expected. I do like the option to call/text when there is a table available. This way if you have a wait of 20 minutes or more you don't have to stay so you dont miss your name called.

Food is not like it used to be. Are 3 meals ware cold except our fries. When we first arrive waiters ware fighting before sitting us down. Then girl who served us not friendly at all. The food was good but not like before. Outside there was trash everywhere in the flowers pots. Whem paying I made a joke and she rolled our eyes at us.

We stopped by Montana's in Prince Albert and had a good time! We got the Ribwich with fries and the Rib & Wing Combo with lemon pepper wings, texas bold ribs, slaw, cornbread and fries. The food was pretty good! Nothing outstanding, but what you would expect from a chain. The wings were crispy, and were quite nice! The ribs were very good too, my only complaint being that there wasn't a ton of meat on them. The Ribwich was good. A fair bit of meat with good flavour. The fries were...meh, and cornbread seem like it had been under a heatlamp for a little too long, but those are secondary items. The service was decent and food came quick, but it did take us about 15 minutes to be greeted/ have the server come over and take our order. Overall, an average experience!

My family ate at Montana’s last night, and our server was Gwen. She was amazing! So friendly, and always checking up on us making sure we were having the best experience possible. Food was great too! My daughter had a paper straw and she had bit it and wrecked it and without asking, Gwen got her a new plastic straw. She also noticed my daughter sitting at the booth awkwardly because she’s too short and brought her a booster seat. Very observant and friendly:) it’s the little things that count! Thanks Gwen!

Great food, love the mini donuts! Service is usually good. Steak a little overdone but didn't take away from the experience. Usually hit and miss with doneness of steak here. ordered medium rare,came out pretty much well done, disappointed but ate it anyway so my dinner companion and I could eat at the same time. I’ve been back three times since the original review and all three times Montana’s has hit it out of the park!! Fantastic food fantastic service and I’m one happy customer. Very pleased with the food and the service. Our server, Garrett, was excellent. For starters we shared fried pickles. Delicious! Bridgette had chicken fajitas. I had the 8 oz sirloin with a baked potato. Everything was prepared perfectly. Our drinks (Diet Pepsi and Lemonade) came with free refills. The best part, however, was the dessert. 8 mini donuts with powdered sugar. Served warm with fudge dipping sauce. They were amazing! Nice place. Several large TVs. Clean restaurant. Clean bathrooms. Since we live 800 miles away we may not return ... But we certainly would if we lived in New Brunswick!! :-)

This was our first '' in restaurant visit" since Covid. Unfortunately, it was no where near close to the experience we use to have. Staff at the reception and doing reservations were very cranky. Menu was very limited. Water tasted awful, probably because of the disinfectant for the glasses. Food was ok but noting special. My son was disappointed when the Pizza he ordered turned out to be a cheese only pizza. Would be nice to have menus for the kids so we can confirm what we order. I don't plan returning any time soon. Mostly because of the poor attitude of the staff.

I've always had a soft spot for Montana's. My cousin and I popped in here for lunch, and were surprised that we were two of six people in the whole restaurant. I'm always suspicious of a poorly attended restaurant, but I know that restaurants in this area always historically struggle with attendance. So, the service was terrific and so was everything else. We asked to be seated on the patio, and they obliged no problem. Food was entirely good, drinks were cold and refreshing. Honestly, not to generalize, but it's up to par with any other Montana's I've been to, and it just is what it is. No fuss, no frills.

Hi My husband and I ate a few evenings ago, at approximately 7 pm, menu was very limited, only a few beers on tap, no local beers. I ordered a drink which the waiter said was one of the most popular, it was disgustingly sweet, could not drink it - order a beer on tap instead. Our ribs and chicken wings arrived and both were quite dry, baked potato was not very warm - not a good experience at all. We have not eaten at Montana's in a few years - will not be going back anytime soon.

The food and service is always good here but last night, the service was even better. They were very busy, around 6pm we went with our two children. The waiter who was serving is was quick, friendly, and knew exactly what we needed before we even asked. There were also a couple other waitresses helping out as they walked by. It's nice to see them working as a team! Most places don't do that it's usually only one person/table. GREAT WORK!!

Yesterday a friend and I went to Montana’s for half price wings because they have that special on Mondays. We went on consecutive Mondays and ordered the exact same thing both times just the double dusted wings and thats it. Well for some odd reason the staff particularly our waiter who we had both weeks seemed upset by that and treated us much differently compared to the previous Monday. The wings were over cooked, the honey garlic sauce was scant and the waiter walked by us a couple times and didn’t ask us how are food was. This felt intentional. We were left feeling very unwelcomed. All the other times we have been there the service was excellent but this time was totally different and I don’t see any reason for this other than they were mad we only ordered half price wings. DON’T have that special if you don’t want ppl coming on Monday’s for half price wings. The experience was so bad that I will never go to a Montana’s ever again in my life and Montana’s was one of my favourite restaurants in Prince Albert.
