My wife and I participated in a coffee tasting while in NB on holiday. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The tasting was informative. The coffee was delicious. The service is the best! They have a couple of their own in house roasts (both spectacular), along with some select coffees from others. Everything I have had from them is first rate. They also have an excellent selection of coffee equipment designed to up your game. I truly enjoyed talking coffee with the people at Epic Chemistry and, now that I am at home, I find myself happily going down the coffee rabbit hole while I continue to enjoy their #9. Highly recommended no matter your level of experience with specialty coffee - epic in every way!

Firstly, the tasting experience was so cool and educational and gave me a greater appreciation for the art of coffee! But I have to say, when it's just open as a sit down cafe, everytime I walk in I feel like I'm walking into my best friends house. Not only is the coffee good and the building cute, but the friendliness of everyone there is completely not comparable to anywhere else ????

Incredible. Doesn't matter if you're a coffee expert or you've lived your whole life drinking Tim's, I HIGHLY recommend coming into Epoch. Drop in during their retail hours or book a private tasting, you'll connect with helpful and knowledgeable roasters either way. They locally source as many products as possible, so a large chunk of your dollar stays in the community.

My partner and I took a weekend vacation in Moncton, with coffee tasting at Epoch a top priority. As big "slow" coffee fans ourselves, we absolutely loved the coffee tasting experience. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about different roasts, brews, and equipment. We would come back again solely based off customer service, but the fact that their coffee is also exceptional makes it a no-brainer to come back again and bring along friends. Thanks Epoch, we now have a favourite local spot to buy our beans from! Would highly recommend the coffee tasting experience for anyone who hasn't steered away from fast food chain coffee (and also those aware of "slow" coffee).

I consider myself a coffee fanatic and this place is the closest place to coffee heaven you can get on earth. First place I've seen that has and sells the same brands I use. Connor knows his stuff and his passion for coffee can easily be seen in his pride of giving you the best coffee experience. He can quickly figure out what kind of coffee person you are and slightly alter the experience to suit you. Everyone needs to go experience this place. If there was a membership I'd be first in line to get one. Keep up the great work!

It's been about 2 months since I went to Epoch Chemistry. I was in vacation in NB and saw this nice place while walking. The service, the warm welcome and the precise information got me buying a coffee for myself. I have to say it was the best I ever tasted. I'm buying online because I don't stay near. But I recommend the place to anyone who likes to enjoy a great cup of coffee. You will find a place where employes just enjoy their work and it shows, a place where the owner is next to the employes working with them and serving the customers. A great place to find what you like and to learn about coffee.

Bought 2 tickets for 11am, even received a reminder the day before but unfortunately when we arrived it was closed. After getting in contact with them they said they tried to reach us by email. (which we never received) They ask if we wanted to come the next day same time, which we did and loved it!

Whatever the occasion for visiting Epoch (a tasting session, picking up a bag of some of the world's best beans, or grabbing a coffee), you are always made to feel entirely at home. By far the best coffee I’ve ever had on the east coast! My family and I were in town visiting family from Vancouver and were blown away by how wonderful both the coffee and staff were here. We came everyday for coffee (the seasonal pumpkin cortado was divine) as well as did one of their tasting classes on the weekend. Highly recommend coming here for your caffeine fix, some expertly curated and roasted beans to take home, and the lovely service!

This is like a fine dining experience for coffee drinkers, but if the chef came out to your table & taught you about the food too. Try delicious fresh roasted beans in 4 handcrafted styles, learn about the origins of the coffee & how it's prepared. If you are already an avid coffee drinker do this to step up your coffee prep at home. If you are new to coffee or used to McDonald's or Tims coffee, you will leave realizing how much better coffee can be. A great date or group activity with friends. You'll be wowed by the Conor's knowledge of all things coffee! They sell high quality beans from around the world & and home gear at various price points.

My family and I had an awesome experience with the Coffee Tasting session. Extremely informative on the beans, where they are from and what that means for sugar, nutrients, etc. You are taught how to properly prepare and brew coffee, espresso and a treat. Epoch Chemistry's coffee is worth giving a try if you want something new and unique. Highly recommend you bring a group and try the Coffee Tasting session.

First visited Epoch for the very informative and enjoyable coffee tasting experience with my girlfriend. Since then, we've begun returning for regular weekly coffee dates, when Epoch is open as a cafe. I believe Epoch is currently open half the time as a roastery, and half as a sit-down/takeaway cafe. It's about time Moncton finally (finally!) had a good cafe, and Epoch isn't just good coffee - it's great. Having lived in 5 different countries on 3 different continents, I feel confident in saying that the ambiance, friendliness of the staff and their knowledge of coffee and related products is second-to-none. Sure, the surrounding location is a bit dodgy, but that gives Epoch an even more "authentic" feel. I only wish they were open (as a cafe) 7 days/week. 5 stars, highly recommended, and hope they keep up the great work - Epoch won't be Moncton's Best Kept Secret for long!
