It was ok...this is my second time visiting. First visit I tried Manakesh, it was a disappointment, second visit I tried the buns, they are ok...the Karak tea is ok as well...to be honest, I don't think I'll give this place a third visit.

Finally Pappa Roti comes to town! It's lovely to be able to taste the famous and familiar buns from home (Malaysia)! Sam (owner) and his team have done a great job in integrating menu items not usually found in other Pappa Roti locations. If you're new to Pappa Roti, try their bun with Kaya...you will not regret it! I will certainly be a regular customer :)

It's unreasonably priced starting at $8 for a bun. If you ignore the price, their signature buns are soft, warm and tasty! It's inside the square one mall so can be noisy and usually busy. Nice place to hangout with fam or friends but not enough value for the price.

Ordered my all time favourite original bun with nutella. I love how the butterknife glides each time through the bun. Was weebit sweet because I forgot to add hazelnut/almonds over the nutella. But hey! I didnt let mysef feel guilty after the snack. Its alright to treat yourself to paparoti every once a while????????

Overall: 10/10 Chill spot for amazing coffee and desserts. Management is super friendly. I highly recommend this place for a coffee or light snack (shareable). Great for dates too. Service: 10/10 Products: 10/10 My son has peanut allergy. I asked the manager if there were peanut free options and I was given several choices along with the recommended treats that are popular for kids my son's age. Just wow, amazing custom service and fantastic food and coffee!

This coffee shop is way overrated and the service is definitely not as good as its been mentioned in the other reviews that I read before I visited the place. The server asked us to make a minimum charge of $5 for each person during the weekend, and when I asked her if this is the coffee shop’s policy she said this is the manager’s instructions. Personally, I have never seen this before at anywhere in the Square One Mall. And I doubt if the owner or the management know about this policy or even they approve it.

Took a takeout today for the second time. The bun was perfect. Soft and fluffy on the inside. The sweetness of the caramel topping balanced with the butter on the inside. The staffs were polite and ambience a little quieter compared to the noise in the mall. Smooth service as well.

First time going to this establishment. The name is deceiving. Thought it would a roti place, not a dessert place. Since I was there, why not try it out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The product itself was a major disappointment. Ordered the regular bun and the nutella one. I guess you have to eat it there if you want it to look like the samples. When I got home the buns were flat. The butter filling was almost non existent. No sugar powder topping. The nutella came in a small container. Both of them looked nothing like the samples in the display. Extremely expensive. 5 bucks for the regular bun including taxes and 7 and change for the nutella one. Wouldn't recommend this place if you are on a budget.

I visited the coffee shop for the sake of good memories I had few years ago. It's a good idea to open a branch in Square One as this stunning huge shopping mall needs such service. The concept is very simple ... papparoti is a very light bun stuffed with butter and served with jam, cream, nutella etc. on the side on a custom made piece of wood. Their Turkish coffee is well presented though I love the normal coffee. The place is little jammed with tables and chairs that makes it almost impossible to have a private chat... looool ...

I really like this store and I used to go to it every day in Dubai. Over there the smell of the backing would attract you, but here it doesn’t taste the same and there is no smell. They serve it kinda cold too, over there it’s always hot and that’s how I love it. We also asked for water and it never came.

Nice place with cool decor but service was subpar. My friend and I ordered beverages. When my friend asked for milk in his beverage, waiter rolled his eyes. My beverage tasted terrible and I couldn't finish it. I also had to clear and wipe our table before we sat down since no one seemed to be assigned to do that. Very busy place. Would not return. Many other nicer cafes in the mall.

This is one of my absolute favorite cafés in mississauga. They have a wide selection of very tasty buns that you can customize in many different ways. Their karak tea is so very good! And their seating area has a very nice & cozy vibe to it. Deserves a shot!

Poor service, the girl threw the knives on the table, I think because our order interrupted her dinner, she was eating and laughing loudly with her colleague while she’s been told to take our order. The other super funny thing ( The Owner ) he was sitting on one of the tables, behind my table, coincidently he is speaking my same native tongue (Arabic) he was cursing discussing with someone, he was just super annoying. He has no clue how to manage place like this. Any the bun is not bad.

I went here to grab a hot chocolate to try. It was my first time there. When I entered no one acknowledged me being there by offering a simple hello. The girl was busy making orders so that was understandable but there was a guy who was stood there with his arms folded and didn’t say anything just looked at me as I stood at the counter waiting to be served. I think basic etiquette would’ve been to at least say hello even if it’s not your place to serve me. When the girl was finished she was really sweet and took my order and made great detail in making my hot chocolate. However, the price was a little extortionate...$6.65 for a medium hot chocolate to go. It tasted fine, I’ve had better and I’ve had a lot worse but almost $7 for a hot chocolate is crazy. Probably wouldn’t be quick to go back, although I do want to try there ice cream sandwich at some point.

I have been to Papa Roti in the UAE before, inside the Dubai Mall and I can definitely see the quality is here in Toronto also. The owner was super friendly and personable. My husband and in-law's had a quick bite here and we definitely loved the vibe and ambience of this location. Definitely grab their signature ice blended Karak frappe with hints of cardamom and ginger. :)

Pappa roti in square one is just amazing! From the food to the staff - everything is on point! Everyone is so polite and accommodating. I’ve never had a bad experience here. They went above and beyond regular service standards. I’ve tried several items off the menu; the cheese manakeesh, lentil soup, pastries and obviously the buns! The Nutella bun and cafe mocha are a great pairing! I find myself visiting a little too often ???? just keep coming back for more - highly addictive and satisfying!

Beautiful tearooms with nice ambience and delicious buns !! I was not familiar with these types of sweet buns, but at first I was attracted by the nice and cosy ambience of the tearoom. Then, once entered, I tried a wonderful vanilla tea and a fresh handmade got. bun (with vanilla ice-cream and Nutella). Amazing!!!!! Also the workers there are very gentle and kind. They also put a soft romantic music that improved the very unique atmosphere. Amazing experience. I will be back!!! Thanks

Great little spot just past the food court. We stopped in and saw the funky chairs and the people working inside were nice and knowable about their products. The lattes are perfect and a decent size. They are known for the original bun. Try it it will change your life lol. It was like, flaky and has a sweet and sour taste, different with every bite. I will return.

Visited the mississauga location for the first time. It was a good experience. The food was really good. Their buns are amazing. Their bun creations are a must try. Chicken garlic pizza was good. Very nice and friendly staff. Very comfortable seating. I loved the decor. All in all a must go place. Oh and yes they serve halal meat.

You pay for your food as soon as you order but provide the service like a restaurant, I wish they would let us pay after so we can also tip the employees since they serve/takeaway the food. Visited today and ordered one Maple eh and the works along with two karak chais... The rolls were delicious and well prepared and service was prompt and courteous. The chai was over priced at 5 dollars and did.not taste good at all. Bill for 2 people was 32 dollars which I kind of found on the high end of things but worth trying the rolls and there different creations. Would be great if they made the menu larger also so you can easily make a choice of what to order.

The pappa roti is overpriced for what it is it should be no more than 3 or 4 dollars and that is because it is in square one mall other wise no more than 2 and is priced at 12. Sub par Turkish coffee for 5 and coffee . Not too impressed.

One of my favorite snacks since Dubai along with the popular Indo-middle eastern Karak chai. The best part about the bun is the crunchy outside and the flavor. Any day better choice than donuts. Must try at least once for the uniqueness of this treat. Looking forward to caramel macchiato as well. To top it, the barista was excellent!!

Highly recommended to anyone who loves fresh bread and specialty drinks. Personally, I find the classic sweet bun is best with the Karak Chai. It's an amazing combination, especially if you have no clue what to try, like me. The service is really great. I believe it's the manager who took our order, we dined in and took some to go as well and he gave us very clear instructions on how to reheat the buns. The ambience is really great, very cozy room and super comfy armchairs. The vibe is really great for a cold evening with warm bread and tea with comfy chairs.

Came here with my mum. We were really excited they opened here in Mississauga, we know Papparoti from Dubai and we were excited to have a bit of taste from the past.. unfortunately, we weren't very impressed. For starters, the place is extremely packed. Way too many tables and seats squeezed in such a small area. You should expect to sit on your table with just half a foot between you and the stranger next to you. Considering it's a mall, likely people will have bags with them which makes it very easy to trip over stuff on the floor. Caution! The service isn't the best. They messed up my order, I repeated myself twice, but the order came wrong. When i told the server about the mistake, she said she will check first... she never came back. So poor me, i just started eating my chocolate drizzled bun without the much-needed strawberries.. :( after i had one bite left, i looked at the server and she had a "lightbulb" moment and came to tell me "oh by the way the order was entered as chocolate". Sigh... i don't understand... so i have to pay for the mistake of the person who can't take an order? The buns are good. Warm and sweet. Really fluffy so they don't fill you up too much. It's good if you didn't want something heavy. But if you're hungry, the buns aren't the way to go.. i believe i saw they have other options like manakeesh. I can't speak for how the manakeesh are as i didn't try them. The décor is nice. I liked the chandeliers and the Turkish coffee set. See photos. I wouldn't go again. I don't enjoy being packed like sardines in such a small space!

Do not recommend, nice setting but very poor customer service - I paid for an almond croissant 5$ , after 5 minutes of waiting to be "warmed up" I was told that they don't have any and I chose another kind, unfortunately this one was stale, hard as stone. Don't forget to mention the smirk on the baker's face when he told me that it's not available...

The plain bun was melt in your mouth and would recommend. The chocolate with marshmallows is just too much not for me at least. Definitely on the higher side for the pocket.

My husband and I ordered the Chicken Cheese Manakish, Lentil soup the original bun and Karak Tea.... The Karak Tea was really nice and trust me the small size is more than enough! Lentil soup was good but a little chalky/grainy at the end The Manakish is 8/10, rich and yummy! The only reason it lost points was because a few chicken pieces still had chunky fat stuck, so they may have forgotten to cut off the fat. My favourite was the original bun! So yummy, fluffy, sweet and salty! The ambience is so nice, you don’t even feel like you’re in the mall. The staff were so friendly and always smiling! The staff,, ambience and the original bun will be the reason why we will return again!

We had lunch at PappaRoti for the first time ever at their new location in Mississauga on Confederation Parkway. The service by Momineh was sub-par - I’m thinking she is still getting a grip on waitressing. She wasn’t consistent with her service. We ordered 2 glasses of fresh orange juice which added up to be the same price as my club sandwich at $12! The club sandwich was too stuffed with the bread not supporting it enough but still tasted decent. Other than the above, the atmosphere is very nice. With the right customer service and perhaps price adjustments the place would be great!

Their name means "Father of the buns" and that is so true. The caramel coffee buns are amazing and it's difficult to eat just one. The ice cream buns are delicious as well. The place is a little small but great staff and service. If you're in square one, you must stop here.

Thank you for bringing this gem to Mississauga! Tried the plain buns and it melts in your mouth. Price is average, you'll get what you pay for. Next time I'll try their other desserts too. Awesome staff and customer service!

I don't like to leave a less than 5-star review but I can't help it here. I got 2 plain buns and 2 Nutella buns to go from here and with a bit of tip, it came to $30 and change, which I felt was quite pricey for what we got! There were 2 staff members behind the counter, one making drinks and the other preparing the food order - I could see how the service can be real slow if the place was busier. We were asked to sit and wait for our order. Not sure why it wasn't as simple and quick as grabbing the buns from the stock at the back and putting them into containers. Each Nutella bun came in its own box - a bit excessive. Don't regret having tried them but likely not to go back for more anytime soon.

This was fun experience in Toronto. I would have preferred the tea to be a bit hotter however the buns are delicious. This location inside Square One has good customer service but I did find it a bit expensive for my taste. I would recommend as one time thing. One bun is enough for you which is filled.

I usually get coffee but tried karak chai from this establishment. It was nice but already sweetened and the ratio of milk to water was a bit off. The sweet buns were really nice i.e. Not too sweet or soft. There is not enough space to sit at this location on the weekends as it gets very crowded. I suppose folks in Mississauga like their chai on the weekends very much.
