My wife was looking for a coffee shop that isn't loud like all the Starbucks around. She fell in love with Halo's look right when she walked in. She came multiple times this week, and she loved how the owner would sit and talk to guests. He is very welcoming and you can tell is prideful of the business. It's great that there is a parking lot in the back. Fast wifi, beautiful seating, good music, and board games. Hidden gem that I'm sure will blow up very soon. And the coffee is great.

Love the atmosphere, staff, and COFFEE! I’m usually not one to drink coffee - or black coffee for that matter - but their iced coffee (Ethiopian brew, which is roasted in-house btw) has converted me. I drink it plain and it’s so good! Also this place has a really quiet and chill atmosphere; would recommend for studying or meeting clients as it’s close to one of Mississauga’s main intersections.

If you haven’t tried this place then you have to get there. I regularly travel from Toronto to this location in Mississagua as it’s the perfect place to get work done while enjoying amazing eats and great espresso drinks. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly so go ahead and ask him about anything that has to do with coffee. He's consistent with the quality of each drink too. Definitely needs a location in Toronto!

Love Love Love. Had Nutella Latte and it was to die for. Coffee and Nutella, the perfect combo. I love coffee shops and Mississaguga is very limited. Halo Espresso will be my go to coffee shop now. Loved the cozy and warm environment. They even had board games. Nice furniture and great artwork on the wall. They have free wifi and table n outlets for you to do your work. I would definitely return with my laptop to do some work. Or have my client meeting at this coffee shop.

This cute little coffee shop is such a great find. Recommended by a friend we had no expectations and were just blown away. The girl running the front was so friendly and just absolutely pleasant. She made our experience a wonderful one. Our group had latte, matcha tea, grilled cheese sandwich (which was surprisingly great), cheesecake. All were really good. Noticed a new place on my way to school and decided to give it a try. Delicious! Turkey pesto panini is possibly my new favorite pre-exam lunch. And the ambience is fantastic! Looking forward to trying some heavenly (get it? Halo?) coffee on my way back home. Also, really nice to have fresh food and coffee/espresso available in a strip of area that usually offers only fried foods and Tim Hortons. PS: the staff/owner(s) is/are lovely. :)

First espresso I've had that I didn't want to sweeten. Staff is very friendly. Pecan tart was the best I've had. Looking forward to coming here again. Edit: I've come a few more times. The owner is a nice guy and his love of coffee as well as his drive to deliver good service is palpable and appreciated. There are board games available, and a bardgame group that meets here sometimes to play (check Instagram and Meetup). Haven't had a drink I didn't like here yet, there are some vegan and gluten free choices sometimes, and the turkey pesto panini is pretty good too. So I'm upgrading to 5 stars for consistent awesomness. Vegan energy bites: they almost taste non vegan. Almost.

No way can halo's coffee compare to starbucks or second cup because halo's coffee is way better. The decor is modern, cozy and the customer service is awesome. This place is located right on the road and is quickly turning into my favourite coffee shop in Mississauga. It's hard to find a coffee shop that gets a latte right without it tasting like a cup of hot milk. Halo Espresso Bar rises to the task perfectly. It's also a quiet place to work plus awesome bagels and pastries. I highly recommend the Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake and the white chocolate version. The staff are also friendly and you can tell they're passionate about their coffee art. Great atmosphere all around and always look forward to going back....

Would recommend. Pass by here all the time and finally decided to check it out. Coffee tastes really nice. Not burnt or harsh flavors. The barista was really nice and personable. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the delicious cheesecake but trust me when I tell you it was worth it on a cheat day. If it's somewhere you want to chill and do work, why the hell would you go to an other coffee shop. Place has lots of comfortable space and its close enough to a major intersection that it's not loud but highly convenient. Otherwise, very convenient to grab a quick coffee on the go.

Coffee was good but the cafe was overcrowded when we visited. One of the baristas had no mask on at all as he worked behind the counter. I understand indoor dining is open and people can have mask off to eat/drink but many people just walking around/playing board games had no mask on. Cup lids and condiments are left out in the open where everyone gets to touch them which isn’t sanitary. Overall, we didn’t feel safe visiting here due to poor covid safety practices.

Quaint place to study or hang out with friends. They have board games and tables for you to do some laptop club sessions. There are lunch options, sweets, and plenty of coffee and tea options. Ordered the Cortado and it was the perfect hit of espresso and milk, with the perfect latte art. Owner is super nice as well and recommended some local lunch places around the area.There's plenty of free street parking so def a great place to meet up.

this was my first time back to the cafe after lockdown and how disappointing! amid the increasing of cases, the barista didn’t even wear his mask, left it on one of the tables, and worst, went outside for a quick smoke, (i’m assuming... the point is he did stay outside for a bit), without a mask; mind you the store locates on a main street. There was no disinfecting the surface after customers leave, no mask wearing practice, no safety enforcement whatsoever beside a plastic divider at the cashier and pointless tape marking on the floor... i was too anxious to even remove my mask to sip my coffee and got it to go, probably won’t even touch it because the barista and the customer near the counter then both didnt wear a mask properly:(

First of all, the staff at this place is super friendly. They always seek to make every experience and enjoyable one. The environment is beautifully laid out. It is really spacious and has lots seating options to suit your needs whether you need space to do your work or have meetings. The music is always on point and the internet is reliable???????????? Of course the coffee and beverage selection is high quality????They even have a selection o fresh baked goods done in house. I was a little hesitant to write a review..... since I wanted to keep this nugget of gold to myself????

So happy to find this independent cafe in Mississauga. Nice to have a non-chain cafe in the area. My husband and I usually make the trek to TO for this caliber of coffee. Cappuccinos are excellent. I got a small iced caramel macchiato and it ended up being $7. It was good but honestly super expensive. My venti version of the drink at Starbucks is $5, I get they're more local, personal and quaint but it wouldn't draw me back in at that price point.

TL;DR - Unfortunately, you must buy something to earn the owners’ respect here. Consider how many Google reviews involve an item being bought from the menu, and then consider mine. Regardless of how good the coffees and other products are, I was treated like a business partner, not a person. If you are fine with being treated that way, please ignore my review. You cannot sit here and study unless you buy something from the menu, quickly. I understand this is a business like any other, and that there are costs that need to be covered, but giving respect is free. I was spoken to twice about not being able to eat a snack that I brought from home, and then to go to the library to study (it was closed) since I hadn’t bought anything from the menu yet. I was planning on staying here for the day and buying snacks & coffee throughout the day to study, but I just ended up going somewhere else. Apart from the terrible hospitality I received, the espresso bar does look nice and is comfy, accompanied by some jazzy music. The music may be loud for studying or holding a small meeting, but it isn’t distracting by any means. I wish I could review this business for their coffees and other items on the menu, but unfortunately I was deterred away before I could even make a purchase.

Perfect spot for productivity. Located by 5 and 10, this cafe is a bit out of the urban center of Mississauga but worth the trip if you're looking for a unique spot to have some coffee and do some work on the weekend. The best espresso and coffee in Mississauga! Halo is the place to be if you wanna grab a coffee, need a place to study or have a meeting. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of seating. Service is outstanding and always friendly. The espresso is made from a specific blend of coffee tested and refined by the owners.; making sure once you've had a cup you'll be coming back for more. They even have freshly baked treats and pastries. If you make coffee at home be sure to pick up a bag of freshly roasted beans on site! This place definitely set the bar high for independent cafes in Mississauga. Highly recommended!

I was there today for a cappuccino and cookies and cream cookie . Both were amazing. The owner was great and spent the time to explain the entire menu for me. If you are looking for a proper espresso bar in Mississauga then you must visit this place. There is plenty of parking behind and around the place. Also, for those interested in a diverse menu, there are plenty of fancy drinks options (hot and cold) and a decent food menu as well.

I came to this cafe today and I ordered a cappuccino, a flat white and some stuffed cookies. The coffees were disappointing, and tasted burnt. Happy to finally see an independent cafe pop up in the central Mississauga area. I had a wonderful visit to Halo. The cafe itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. Lots of seating and a number of electrical outlets for working. It was quiet when I went in the middle of the weekday, so I was able to peacefully get a lot of work done. I ordered their new menu item, a cardamom latte, and the owner, Adrian, insisted on making it for me until he had gotten it right, and it was to my liking (a total of 3 times). Great service! I appreciate the effort they are putting in to nail down an uncompromised cafe experience. My only qualm is that their prices are a bit higher than I am used to, and I frequent a lot of espresso bars and cafes in Toronto. It is still a nice spot though, and I definitely would choose Halo over your average Mississauga chain cafe.

Independent coffee houses/espresso bars are hard to come by here in Mississauga, but Halo Espresso Bar, which just opened up in August, is such a welcome addition! Located right by Dundas and Hurontario, it gives caffeine lovers a wonderful alternative to the nearby Tim Horton's. The first thing you notice is the decor - it's absolutely gorgeous, with several power outlets to plug in your devices. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the world of coffee, they have about 3-4 books about coffee you can spend a morning, afternoon or evening perusing through. Being an espresso bar, you won't find any brewed coffee here. But what they do serve is just delicious! They have a great variety of items, and the prices are reasonable considering the high quality. As for the staff, they're all wonderful - Hadryan especially! I've only been a few times, but I know for sure Halo will become one of my favorite places to relax and unwind after a tough day at the office!

I love this coffee shop, the staff are always friendly, the coffee is amazing and the cafe is always clean. I like that the tables are big enough for you to study at and use a laptop, there are also lots of plugs available. The baked goods are a little expensive but are worth it. My favorite is the mini egg cookie. There is also lots of parking when I go. If you plan to access the parking via the lobby of the building sometimes on the weekend it is locked and you have to go around the other way. The only thing that I would say keeps me from coming here more often are the hours. It opens too late in the mornings for me stop in on my way to work and closes pretty early on the weekend.

This cafe has a nice decor and setup, ample seating and space. I thought the flat white was just too weak (it's the opposite of Hale). It was served in a glass mug which keeps the drink hot longer. There was only one person working so the service was a bit slow. I wouldn't go out of my way to get coffee there.

Have to give 5 stars considering the location and lack of independent coffee shops in Mississauga that serve quality drinks! Otherwise I would give 4.5 stars because they use double-walled glassware that is pretty tiny for a specialty coffee beverage that costs around $6. (Not sure about the size of to-go cups though but next time I’ll check.) That being said the drink I had was delicious, there was a choice of almond, coconut or regular milk, and service was very friendly and quick. Cafe itself is clean, spacious and fairly quiet during the day.

Very upscale quality of products. Staff is super friendly and genuinely happy to serve you. Apart of the side effects and based only on flavour, I can’t tell the difference between decaf and regular coffee. I look forward to seeing my cardiologist now because he is in the same building.

I come here almost every morning, when I first come into the shop I am greeted by shayla, she is so kind and makes my order in a professional manner. Even tho she knows my usual which is a hot chocolate She still will always asked if I want whipped cream on top which I appreciate it’s not everyday where I would want something too sweet. She also gives me recommendations on what’s popular on the menu. Service is great and so are the drinks. I 100% recommend this place to all coffee lovers.

Friendly owner, great coffee, comfortable atmosphere, and fast service are all one needs to know, although theres plenty of other reasons to visit - like the board games and selection of pastries!
