Back Road is one of the best additions to Port Credit, period. We have always wanted an amazing coffee destination in the neighbourhood, and we finally have it. Alex and Michel are so knowledgeable, humble and friendly, and they honestly brew the best cup of coffee we've ever had. I can now drink my coffee black and enjoy every drop. Do yourself a favour and pair that coffee with an earl grey blueberry scone. Thanks guys for all you do!

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to their coffees and assisting in setting up to brew it effectively at home. *edit* Just brewed their "Base Camp" blend (which I bought at my earlier visit) in an espresso and it is superb! The physical beans have a nice sheen to them, the smell is just right, and the taste... well, with the tips I got from staff earlier today (and a sample of the grind size they used), it tastes about 90% like the shot I had at the store, so I am very happy. I will return in a few weeks to try their Ethiopian blend which was suggested for a lighter espresso taste...

In a very random location but almost fitting as it creates a niche factor to this joint. Loved the coffee. It speaks for itself but perhaps what enhances the experience is the atmosphere created by the baristas. Welcoming, charming and informative. Whether you know your coffee or not, there is no judgment here and they will help you find and get what you need. Totally recommend.

This is by far the best coffee shop in Port Credit, in Mississauga and possibly all of the Toronto suburbs. It is a must visit if you are into good coffee. Skip those chains and go here. The staff is the best. Friendly and memorable. The atmosphere is amazing. They have done such an excellent job decorating and staging the place. The coffee is so delicious. Roasted right there and fresh. Many different variations of beans for sale. Patio is super cool as well. They also host many special nights which you should check out. Just go here!!

Great coffee, awesome vibe and truly a hidden gem of Port Credit. They have taken the atmosphere of a solid brew pub and rewrapped it as a cafe. Whether you are coming to sit at the bar and chat coffee/ life with the staff or come in with friends to enjoy a brew it is a great spot to visit. I highly recommend a visit next time you are in search of caffeine.

I live in the area and never knew this existed until now. My friend knows the owners and met me here for a meet up. Nice and modern but no indoor seating for today's visit. Not far from the Port Credit strip and parking is free all around the area. Go check it out!

I'd love to give 5 stars but I can't. This is the coffee shop for people who have a day off or not working at all. You can't make it there if you even work normal business hours from 8 till 5. They always Closed. Opens at 8 and closes at 3? Who can make it there to grab coffee on the way to work. I addition, they are closed Sundays which most people would love to enjoy their coffee and on top of Sunday, they are closed Mondays. Good luck getting your backroad coffee. Thumbs up for design and logo ????

This place is turning out to be my new favorite cafe! The baristas working here are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They were able to help me find the perfect beans for making great coffee at home. All the coffee sold here is roasted on site so it is super fresh and tastes amazing! The espresso is so smooth and has a great flavor profile. The cafe itself is really well designed. They have plenty of seating and even a cool patio open in the summer. They even have some awesome merch available for sale! High quality stuff that is well designed. Definitely check this cafe out!

I'm the kind of guy who, when I'm on the GO train, likes to look out the window at the scenery passing by rather than yakking with my seatmates. It was on one such trip slightly over a year ago that I spotted the sign just after the train left the Port Credit station: Back Road Coffee Roasters. It took me a while to pay my first visit to them, but I'm glad I did and now I've been a regular customer for many months now! They're located a few streets away from the Port Credit station, so it's a very small diversion from my route to work (I usually go straight up Hurontario). The cafe is run by Alex and Michel, brothers-in-law and friends. They and the other baristas are super friendly to anyone who comes in. The coffee is delicious, and their scones are some of the best I've ever had. In the good weather, they have several small tables outside. What I really love about the cafe is this: You remember the show "Cheers" from the 80s? "Where everybody knows your name!" That's how it is if you're sitting right at the front counter. Everyone knows each other and are more than willing to be open and friendly with you if you don't like drinking your coffee or other beverage on your own. They also have special events in the good weather called "Motor Nights" on Thursday evenings where you can show off your wheels, have a coffee and hang out with other motor enthusiasts. This usually draws a crowd of motorcycle riders but a few sports cars here and there can be spotted too. This cafe is fairly close to where I live and is my new favourite coffee house in Port Credit! Keep up the great work!

Came in this morning to pick up a ‘hobo knife’ I saw they had on my first visit....unfortunately, all sold out. Soo, didn’t want to leave empty handed, got myself a cup of joe to go.....wow! I mean, WOW! Perhaps the best coffee I have had in awhile! The staff are very welcoming & intimate. The interior design of the establishment is absolutely amazing! Definitely a landmark to visit every time you’re in the Port Credit area.

Been to Back Road Coffee a number of times as it's walking distance from my house. Each and every time they never disappoint. The owners are present and totally approachable and just the kind of folks you want in the neighborhood. The rest of the staff follows suit and man o man the place is cool. Easy comfortable decor. I can't fault their business decision to not open until 7:00 but as I'll frequently be leaving slightly earlier than that I don't get there as much as I'd like. Completely understand why it just makes it 30 minutes too difficult to get to in the AM. Their every other Thursday night 'power night' seems to be growing and I'm happy for them with that. Looks like they have made friends with some other neighborhood gems like Cabin. Keep it up guys. Love having you here.

Excellent coffee beans. Good packaging (with a valve) that can be resealed. Online ordering is easy with next day pickup: Alex texts when its ready. Convenient if you live in south Mississauga or are driving through on Lakeshore Road or the QEW (exit is Hwy 10).
