Aroma is generally a great place to have an espresso with breakfast. The Square One location is a little on the loud side due to the people traffic in the mall.

Ordered the cinnamon roll and although it was advertised as having a “cream cheese glaze”, the glaze was simply a white icing sugar topping and no cream cheese flavour whatsoever. The icing is the most integral part of a cinnamon roll and because of the lack of cream cheese, it’s a pass. Disappointed and not worth the $5+

Very nice pitstop on the way out to the bus stop! A lovely corner location of Aroma at Square One. The food and service are consistent with other locations I've been to. They have the big menu boards if you can't see their menu from a far. Beverages are same in quality and just as delicious. I order the Iced Matcha Latte and it's still pretty good. They have a nice patio but can get a bit disruptive as this is a common entrance between the City Centre Bus Terminal (tons of passenger/customer traffic).

Good coffee and food. The location is clean and the staff are usually very freindly. Expect to pay a bit more than average for coffee, soups amd sandwiches here. The restaurant is fully licencend and even has a patio. The inside seating area is a bit small and quickly feels cramped as this is a busy location. Located inside "The Eatery" at The Outlets Collection Niagara.

Honestly, I came here by coincidence, an it was a lovely one! ???? My order was ready in no time, and it was so delicious! I gotta be honest, when I saw the it's done, I said, I'm gonna regret this! But the taste was so good, I loved it! I would recommend some more ventilation inside the place as the smell of the food is so all over the place, and clothes, and hair, and everywhere! ???? Yes it was so good and makes you hungry, but too much for me! Service wise, as I said, it was fast and so delicious, so these guys know what they are doing, well done! ???? Money wise, it's so convenient in comparison to other places (you what I'm talking about⭐) Over all, its really nice sometimes to go out of your comfort zone and try something new, coz it might surprise you, like what just happened today to me! Be prepared to be asked to leave if you have a drink or a sandwich from another place. The waiter will make sure to announce it to everybody else and ask you not to eat or drink anything else besides their overpriced food. Doesn't matter if you bought something else from them. Stuff was rude. Lots of hornets flying around the patio area.

One of the best in the City Center - I was a little skeptical at first but it was a very welcoming and unique environment with a nice patio which makes up for the small interior.Nice place to treat yourself and catch up with friends. A good location to meet your friends before visiting some local downtown attractions. Like their other locations, this Aroma has plenty of seating, and is a clean and bright space. Their prices are comparable with other coffee chains nearby, such as Starbucks, but they have much more seating.

It sometimes feels unnecessary to review somewhere that is just okay, but sometimes that is what you want. This place is right on Bay Street, and so it's kind of busy, and my food took a little while. But the chicken breast sandwich was okay. My brother got the breakfast sandwich and said it was too much mayo. Maybe ask for light mayo? Mine didn't have that problem. Iced coffee is good and comes black. Two bathrooms, need a key to get in both clean. The restroom key is this super long copper pipe, which I thought was neat.

Really enjoyed this restaurant and coffee shop. They had patio seating and about 8 indoor tables. Their menu is varied for breakfast and lunch and it was hard to choose since everything sounded so good! Staff was friendly and they made sure each table was cleaned once the customers had left. We came here to work so we came for wifi and a comfortable place to work and Aroma is great for both of those purposes. The coffee is great here, the price is average for the type of coffee shop, we got a chicken salad for under 8 dollars which we thought was a decent deal and it was a large portion! They also have a patio to sit on during nice days. We will be coming back to this location when we are looking for an alternative place to work.

The staff are friendly and the coffee's good. The location's awesome and the vibe inside is very cosy, However... The music is too loud and usually too inappropriate that it feels like a bar, not a café! If you're with a friend, you have to shout to be heard. If you're studying, well I should say I'm so sorry because that's not possible! Please don't get me wrong, I don't expect a 24/7 piano playlist. Here, it's usually one or two nice music, then a million SUPER loud SUPER high beat following with some crazy instrumentals for 1 hour. My suggestion is first to lower the music to a reasonable volume, second, play more café material music (something not as hype at least!), third, have a more smooth transition between songs. It really is not enjoyable to hear a Nancy Ajram song right after an instrumental, followed by a very high beat Russian music. They might all be nice to listen to, but NOT one after another. Each time I've left this place with a severe headache.

Aroma in square one is great, but one of the girls that work there is always rude and she seems upset all the time, and whenever I order my Ice matcha from her she never makes it good, it's always warm when it's meant to be cold. Everyone else makes my Ice Matcha good, one girl in particular, Michelle, she is always smiling and greeting people, she always makes my drinks exactly how I want it to be. She always has a positive vibe to her and I feel welcome anytime she's there.

Great spot to grab a quick coffee when they open on time... but it's a roll of the dice whether they are remotely ready to open when I walk by ten minutes after 7am (their posted hours on the door). I dont mind waiting a minute but to be told to leave because they're "not open", or having to wait until 7:15 for them to have coffee made after they open more than once makes me not want to stop there.

Really disappointed with the service here. I've passed by here more than once and the service was perfectly fine and friendly. Came here and the store was pretty empty, one customer was ahead of us. Had our order taken, and I'm pretty sure they forgot about it because it took them 10 minutes to make a single drink. Had two more customers served before us and when I finally got my order the server basically threw it at me before speeding off to the register. Now I'm very, very forgiving of service workers, I work with customers too and it's awful and I'm very sympathetic towards anyone in the same industry, but this was a bit ridiculous, especially with 4 people behind the counter and a joke of a line of customers. The drink, by the way, tasted like water, and barely had any flavor to it. Definitely worth $7 and a 10 minute wait, real glad I decided to stop in. Only giving a second star because I've had a good experience here before, but I definitely won't be popping in during these workers' shifts again.

Changing my review because last friday, I ordered a sandwich that I paid for and never ended up eating, The fact that the girl preparing it at the back was making is without gloves on and especially without a MASK on was deeply unsettling. I just couldn't bring myself to eat it and just threw it away. For heaven's sake, instruct your staff to wear a mask, ESPECIALLY THE ONES MAKING THE FOOD!!!

I have only had their hot chocolate but they use real chocolate that you have to stir in and it it probably the best hot chocolate I have had. It's also very nice how they serve it with a nice napkin, long spoon and a little chocolate. Only drawback is the price which is why my review is 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I was served by a shorter gentleman with a mustache who thought his sarcastic “you missed a spot on the island” remark after I asked for napkins and after cleaning up spilled milk was welcome when in fact it was rather rude. Most people wouldn’t have even bother, humble yourself. Also we waited 20 mins for 3 drinks. Overall, worst customer service experience, it ruined Aroma for us. We will not be returning to another Aroma cafe.

I usually order downtown Toronto but I decided to stop by Square One to grab my usual coffee, extremely terrible service like you wouldn't believe. The baristas there had to be new or confused because it was extremely strange. The lid to my drink wasn't fastened properly, and it fell all over my salad in the paper bag (which happens) and I asked if I could just receive a new bag and have my drink remade and was told that it was my fault.

Advice to Management: Be onsite and available during rush hours. Train your staff and add adequate number of employees so that they don't turn customers away by saying the kitchen is backed up by 40mins and give you wrong food. **** Eat at Aroma Eaton Centre every single day. On our way back from Niagara, stopped by this Aroma Bar on Easter weekend. Worse experience ever. The staff were tired, place was under staffed and the kitchen was slow. Ordered 2x chopped salad with chicken. Staff recorded as one. The salad came as a garden salad and not chopped. Ordered one more and received the 2nd salad 40mins later. Again another garden salad and not chopped. Understand that you can make a mistake once but this mistake is clearly done on purpose as you cannot misread the order two time within 60mins. I am certain that you give garden salad to customers instead of chopped so that you can save some cucumbers and tomatoes. The kitchen was backed up and other customers were upset as they also got their orders incorrect (egg plant salads...). Requested a refund and only received for 1x salad. I was upset as they added 60mins to my trip and ruined our wonderful experience. Ended up eating in Toronto instead as I returned the 3/4 full salad back since the next order would have been taking 40mins due to kitchen backup.

The food and drinks are good, but generally the shop encourages people to basically sit there for hours with their laptops or textbooks which means one person will hog a booth meant for four people just because there's an outlet available. This leaves groups of people who actually want to eat and converse sitting at the uncomfortable bar stools. I'd only do take out at this location in the future.

Well this place is good but definitely a little extra noisy and has space issues. No problem with the cafe and food it's good and has decent price. I enjoyed the mocha in which they literally put a small Chocolate chip so allow it melt and mix well. They also have good latte. The avocado toast was average though. Overall it's a nice place. They do have seating arrangement outside but in the cold weather with just the inside seating this place gets a little cramped up.

It used to be a place where I can seat with my friends and have a conversation over a coffee or a meal... Since recently the music is too loud and my there is no way you can have a normal conversation. It's like being in a night club. Some power outlets will be of great use. Pleasantly surprised with the great menu options-vegetarian and gluten free options available. But was very disappointed that they failed to mention that they were out of avocado which was the number one thing I was looking forward to on my egg sandwhich and didn't offer any substitutions. They also ran out of ice. So all those nice smoothies and iced teas that I was excited for was not an option. Staff is extremely rude and not helpful. This place could be great if they hire better staff and actually have in stock what's on the menu.

Ordered a baby kale and portobello salad and avocado sandwich; asked to sub extra avocado for the boiled eggs on the sandwich. Had such a bad experience - salad had mushroom that did not look close to portobello - was shocked by the quantity. Did not see the extra avocado asked to replace the eggs....close to no onion on the sandwich - just two slices of tomato and two slices of jalapenos. Paid $15+ for nothing. I didn't feel like eating the salad at all (trashed it) - did not feel fresh at all. Very disappointed!!

I had the worst experience today, Feb 21, 2021 at your establishment on 88 Queens Quay W! The young lady from the morning shift was rude!! I asked for oat milk for my coffee. She said I had to pay for it. I said no problem and she huffed and puffed with a lot of attitude. She was rude for no reason. Instead of leaving the place remembering how good was the coffee, all I think about was the bad experience I had.

Pretty good location. The place itself is kind of small, with not that much sitting space. I like that they give you a piece of chocolate with your drinks. The tables were dirty when I came in, but overall the place looks clean. Drinks are usually on point. Would recommend the Brazilian chocolate latte. It's very tasty and sweet. I asked for a cold ginger drink with no ice, 3 staff members including manager couldn't figure out how. Seriously? We asked for our drinks and food to eat and drink there, they all came to go in bags. 3 of us sat down at a table that was filthy, we asked the cashier to clean it and she used a dry napkin sweeping all the food crumbs onto the floor. She asked if that was good? Except for the previous empty cups and stains on the table. I asked her to properly wipe it down and she got super pissed and soaked the table. So we left, with bad communication and horrible customer service we will not be returning.

I ordered their power breakfast scrambled and ended up with sunny side up eggs and no avocado. I hate writing bad reviews like this, but considering this is a ‘fast food’ takeout place for a coffee, waiting 30+mins for a smoothie is ridiculous. I got a BLT and 20mins after I had ordered it they finally said that they didn’t have bacon- so they didn’t even start cooking for 20mins after i had ordered… and it’s not like they were busy too. More expensive then Starbucks with service so bad I nearly walked out. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend- walk an extra block to another coffee spot.

I wish I didn't have to make this review but I have yet to receive a response from the Manager since calling the store on January 2nd. I placed an order for delivery on January 2nd - included in that was a free cheese and raisin roll. I ate about half of it when I looked down and noticed something that looked off. There was beetle of some kind in the middle of the roll, along with limbs in other spots. The issue was never addressed, the only response I received was "The manager will call you back".

Terrible service equals terrible food. There's better service, food and prices in the food court. This place should make up their mind what they want to be , either a cafeteria/food court restaurant or upscale cafe their trying to be. We visited this week and the extremely rude cashier/order taker either knew nothing about what they serve or just was plain rude. When I ask about items on the poorly description cafeteria style board, she grab a menu and asked to read it as I stand in front of her to educate myself about what was in their Aroma salad. A salad named after the restaurant. Then when I indulge her in reading the ingredients , in about 2 seconds she asked if I was ready. The place was empty and the was no one behind us. The menu picture showed a shredded white cheese which she she enlighted me is parmesan cheese but not shredded. She walked away and out and she didn't even notice us leave. Terrible place .

This Aroma Ebar sports a really nice patio with a view of the fountain and pretty good sound system. You also can't go wrong with the taste and flavour of the baked goods and coffee at Aroma. The only surprise for me was that they didn't know how to make a flat white at this location in contrast with the Aroma bars in Oakville and St Catherine's outlets so 4 stars.

The likes of Tim Hortons and Starbucks, along with other chains, have already realized that consumers want to trust where their food comes from. I can no longer support a company that refuses to publicly announce a ban on horrific practices in its supply chain, such as breeding chickens for such unnaturally rapid growth that the birds suffer heart attacks. This #AcridAroma needs to end now!

Most of the time quiet place when I come here. Okay customer service, nothing special, always get me orders right. On the afternoons this place is a little messy, lots of dirty tables and stuff on a floor. Good variety of hot and cold drinks.

My go-to place on Wednesdays for a coffee while studying. Their Brazilian hazelnut latte is by far, my favourite hot drink. Their baristas are very kind and get the order right every time. The environment is kept clean by the employees, making it a great place to study, or read a book while you enjoy their drink. Oh, and have I mentioned that they give a complimentary milk chocolate piece? Small, but a nice add-on.

Great coffee, delicious breakfast, friendly staff! They have an enormous menu selection - took me a while to set my mind to something haha. I finally got an oat mocha and their breakfast sandwich. The food tasted fresh! The seating was slightly worn out - it might be a good time for them to replace some of the furniture. Overall, good experience!

Always out of white bread, and sometimes even whole wheat. Many times I've been there when my order was taken, only to be told 5 minutes later that they don't have what I ordered, and I need to choose something else. Even when they have what I want, they will mess up my order (include an ingredient that I didn't want in my sandwich). Plenty of better Aromas around, skip this one.

Went here and ordered a chickpea salad with most toppings taken off. I would assume they would fill the salad with more of the toppings that I wanted on the salad, but they just gave me a bowl of lettuce and a tiny amount of chickpeas. I asked for more chickpeas since I took off the egg originally, and the chef looked displeased. Not only that, he decided to make me wait 4 minutes to give me the extra chickpeas because I guess he felt like he had power this way. I asked for a refund for the salad to show the chef how his purposeful slow service is effecting the store. I just didn't want to give a cent to these people. The front counter has high school students working there who quite honestly don't care about the job or the reputation of the business and the back has chefs that are exactly the same. Never had an experience like this before at an aroma, won't be coming back again.

The most disgusting tuna sandwich I’ve ever had. $13.50 + tax. And waited 10 mins for. Tuna full of black olives and pickles. Was never told about the black olives - really an unpleasant taste. I asked for no mayo on the sandwich. Why would you put extra mayo on a tuna sandwich? I asked for no mayo and was given mayo. It had arugula that was so soggy and wilted. It was days OLD! Terrible service. Too long of a wait and the WORST sandwich I’ve ever had. That should never be served to anyone ! ???????? Terrible food. Over priced and rude service !

I've come to this place back when it was still a Timothy's. The location itself is nice and the interior and second floor are nice enough. The first floor does feel a little cramped though. Aroma itself as a brand is okay. Their food isn't anything amazing and their coffee is nothing to write home about. It's a standard coffee shop. The only redeemable quality of this particular establishment is it's placement in Oakville and the building that it's occupying is quite nice.

I previous gave this establishment four stars but the service of staff has declined over the past few months. Some staff are friendly and helpful, some are rude. It depends who you get when you walk up. Today I was served rotten fruit with an order of french toast. Seriously not impressed. I would have returned it but I had already left the area. Do you see that rotten pineapple? Not yellow but grey/brown? Do you want to pay for that? Would you want to eat that?

Quick service and great coffee. It's my go to spot for business meetings as it's a bit more "upscale" than Tim Hortons. They have a variety of coffee and snacks. Bit on the expensive side, but that doesn't matter when you're taking a client out for a quick chat!

The service can be a bit slow sometimes but their items are delicious and serving all day breakfast is great for a University campus where students want that kind of food at odd times of the day. Their drinks are quite yummy and they offer shots you can add to certain drinks too. I like the seating. There's glass all around so you can look out onto the street and so it's nice to sit on a pretty day. Overall it's a good cafe.
