You will be able to see all the feddbacks of real people like you who know the products and services of Archtop Vinyl Café (Coffee Shop) in Mississauga (Canada).
To this day the business receives a score of 4.5 stars over 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is basically the best one, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is very faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop corresponds to the category of Cafe.
Love this place ! The vinyl records on the walls mixed with the smell of coffee is a great vibe. Plus you can really taste the quality of the espresso.
Katie, you'll be happy to know my Americano has plenty of crema. This is a lovely spot. Friendly people and good coffee. Well done!
The Psychedelic Macadamia blend that my friend and I had tasted like water. Little improvement after the barista made my friend another drink with less water. She said that that sometimes happens with flavoured coffee. My croissant was average. The cafe itself is an interesting space.
A fantastic joint to come by for any Vinyl OR Coffee enthusiasts. This is the kind of shop you'd want to stop by every chance you could get. With an amazing atmosphere, a well organized vinyl hoard, and a Flat white that puts several other cafes to shame... This is now my go-to place for my caffeine and music needs.
Other
The cafe up top is a bit cramped and has limited seating options but the real gem is the attached record store set up in the basement, it seems like they have something for every one. If you're taller than 6 feet though, mind your head on the stairs
Really glad I discovered this gem! Great menu options and the service is always on point! Check out their espresso and ice-cream swirl, you won't be disappointed!
Cool cafe, chill vibes, good coffee and a great cookie
Great service, kind staff and delicious coffee! Must return to try the ice cream with espresso
Great location, tea selection, treats, and coffees. Staff is awesome!! Atmosphere - great place to work for a bit, then get lost in music history ... check out the collection in the basement!!! Highly recommended!
A favourite place to stop in downtown Port Credit! Serving up delicious warm beverages; Coconut Chai latte is my go to. In the warm weather there are bistro tables on the sidewalk, Archtop is dog friendly with water bowls outside (always much appreciated). Baked goods are yummy and in the summer they have soft serve ice cream!
So dissapointing that the worker who is preparing the food and drinks is not wearing a mask! I understand that there are medical conditions that may mean exemptions from masks but there is nothing to stop someone from at least wearing a face shield! and if you do not want to "discriminate" your worker for this exemption then find another job for her to do besides preparing customers food and drinks maskless! This far into the pandemic it is so upsetting to see. Also please don't use the excuse of "hand sanitazation" in reply to this review as that has nothing to do with respiratory droplets that can possibly be exhaled on to customers food and drinks will she is preparing them!
It's a very nice small cozy place. Different kind of seating available with high top tables and bar stool table over looking the road. They even have outdoor seating in the summer. They have good portion for the size of the drinks. All in all worth a visit
Good coffee and nice vibe, their frappés lack flavor.
I loved their espresso+ice cream!
A cozy little place that serves a wide variety of coffee, smoothies and some delicious munching options. The servers know their coffee very well and are glad to mix things up to help find you your perfect coffee. And that's not it. The place is a gem for people looking to buy or sell some cool vinyl records. They sell both new and used vinlys, cd's and even cassettes.
Love the selections of coffee, vibe and the service!
Love this place! Stopped by here a few weeks ago and just remembered to write a review. The croissant was so good that I don't even remember if the coffee was good. I'll have to assume it was since I have nothing bad to say!
Their signature twist ice cream with espresso is worth the hype! Creamy and delicious. Also tried their iced coffee which is double brewed and super smooth! A must-try in Port Credit!!
It's in the heart of Port Credit right off the late. Their lattes are amazing! I always get the dirt chai latte! :)
Great location and lots of snacks as well as a good cup of coffee (classic rock)
The best espresso ice cream in town. Worth to try
Great place, Great people. Bonus that there are LP's and CD's for sale here. I recommend the date bar.
Affordable prices
Great little treasure of a cafe situated right on lake shore. Easy to miss but wow. Amazing coffee with a variety of delectables not to mention the record themed atmosphere. Very friendly staff with high speed WiFi. Sweet little spot, would go over any of the typical franchise coffee spots.
Cool little shop. Coffee and music. Friendly happy staff.
Excellent coffee, music and people! Best place to grab a hot drink in Port Credit. Don't miss out on the espresso & soft serve ice cream in the summer.
Awesome place for a coffee/tea and a bite and fantastic record collection!
Fantastic coffee, great staff and owner. Love browsing the used vinyl downstairs.
Pretty nice spot, I found some great vinyl records as well. I believe they also serve some drinks and pastries - haven't tried any of it though. My only concern is when I asked about the return policy for the vinyl records...I was told that they prefer I don't return anything....unusual answer
Amazing Coffee shop, I was walking by and saw Vinyl Records so I immediately walked inside. The girl behind the counter was nice, and explained what's going on, cause at first I was confused because the place seems tiny and only has few records, then she offered to watch my stuff while I go downstairs and see the big Records collection, as you can see in the photo. I tried their Red-Coffee soft ice cream, which is basically tea with ice cream, & I liked it.
This place doesn't feel mass produced like Tim Hortons or Starbucks. You pay for a macchiato; you get a really good macchiato, a warm treatment, and a beautiful space to enjoy it.
So very unimpressed... When we arrived, I found the staff a little abrasive, but I didn't think much of it. I think we might have been served by the owner? But I can't be sure. Right before we left, I learned that a bunch of staff had just been fired. Not a great look! And definitely doesn't make for a good customer experience.
Wonderful small cafe, good coffee, lots of vinyl LPs
If you want a really good hot chocolate or a great cup of coffee or a tasty snack this is the place to go
This is a great spot for coffee and espresso based drinks. They have all the milks (almond, coconut, soy). The lattes are creamy and delicious.l and the prices are very fair, (less than most other places). The service is very friendly and the treats are delicious also. The only draw back is if it is busy, the seating area is small so it's best to grab and go or sit out front if the weather permits. There is a window bar style seat and three high tables with stools. There are also 2 tables right in the cash area that are crammed. But that is the norm for the area. If you need a coffee this is the best place in Port Credit. Your only other options are Starbucks and Second Cup, which aren't really options if you want this quality of drink. Edit Aug 8, 2018: They've had a minor setback with Julie and Josie leaving. Two excellent barristas who knew quality and consistency. Always a good drink from them as well as Kim and Megan. However I find myself more often now getting a sub standard drink if one of those 2 don't make my drink. Good money paid for not that great a drink. I hope it is a blip in what is otherwise a great shop. A little training to the new staff could go a long way. It is important to have proper barristas at a local indie cafe considering it is the only shop in Port Credit. Watch out because a big cafe is opening right around the corner and looks to be excellent with a good following. They will scoop up the coffee lovers if you're not careful .
Great coffee. Fun staff. Good place for a coffee stop on a bike ride
The coffee is very good
Great coffee, Great people working there.... A few customers came in without masks on...which is concerning during this "Pandemic". Would revisit AFTER the pandemic ends.
Cool little coffee place with a nice vibe.
Cozy space, tasty goods, and amazing playlist. Records were a nice touch and made it a cool space.
Great all round. You must visit.
I love their Vanilla Ice cream with espresso shot!:)
Don't waste your money at this cafe. We went for breakfast, the bread was stale, the salad was wilted, and the tomatoes were not ripe. When we notified the staff, excuses were made and they tried to justify why the food was that way. We were disappointed in the lack of accommodation for their mistake.
The dirty chai was amazing, and it is really cute there. I need to look at the record shop the next time I am not in a hurry.
Everything is amazing. Try ice cream espresso! Must try
This coffee shop was such a pleasant surprise! Was looking for a good cup of coffee and happened to find this one. Didn’t enjoy the cup of coffee but I got an iced cappuccino with oat milk which was amazing. Also got a veggie breakfast sandwich and a cashew cookie which were both delicious! The person working there was very nice and helpful with the menu too. Overall, pretty happy I came across this little gem in Port Credit.
Easily the best coffee I've ever had.
Great coffee with a wonderful atmosphere and in a beautiful neighbourhood. Honestly These guys will fulfill your caffeine cravings.
Great ambience, delightful coffee and sweet treats.
Great atmosphere. Food was great with large portions.
The girl with the tattoos attending the coffee shop is the nicest girl I've ever met.
Nice cafe in Port Credit with a very cozy set up. The black gold milkshake was really good. Check them out!
Great coffee and deserts
OMG! Their pecan tarts are the best thing that ever happened to Port Credit.
Good coffee and delicious desserts. Love the atmosphere and they had great music playing. Staff was really friendly
Amazing coffee. Great food. Nice comfortable atmosphere. Love the music.
Dine in
Good food. Good vibe. I'll be back.
Not what I was expecting... the coffee is ok and there is room for the staff to improve the way they treat the clients. I will give another try, maybe it was not a good day for the both of us... But the LP selection is great, worth the visit for the ones looking for it.
A little small needs another staff. Treats a little cold and dry
Went to the new shop just a one minute walk from the old one The staff is really nice Got an espresso chocolate ice cream If you love espresso, nothing is better than this It’s like an ice cream sitting on a bed of espresso But if you are not a fan of espresso, I wouldn’t suggest you trying. There are other flavours to choose Great experience!
When there for a slice of apple crumble pie. The pie taste great however for $8 the portion was sooooo small. Not worth the price.
The gentlemen at the Archtop Grill was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. My husband and I got a hot dog and corn on the cob. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection!
Fairly quiet; a good selection of tea, coffee and food; not much seating available.
Great place for a quiet hangout. Limited but nice selection of new vinyl and large collection of used as well. Friendly staff and owners. Recommend
My new review Great experience now a few times. Still had to make adjustments to my schedule to meet with theirs but have enjoyed it there. Thanks! My old review I would like to say that Archtop was great, mediocre, or terrible but I can't seem to be able to get there in the mornings with their late start time! 8AM during the week doesn't work for me or for the likely 250 cars per minute that pass by their front door. I'm a neighborhood supporter. Do yourself a huge business favor, get a beautiful sandwich board sign in front, entice some small chunk of the 15,000 cars that have passed by your front window to pull over in the vast amount of parking in front of your building for a coffee and a sandwich or a coffee and a pastry. Can't stand national chains. I want to give you my business!
Coffee, music and service was good but didn't like the fact that pets are allowed in the shop.
I don't drink coffee, but their vinyl store downstairs in awesome! I love hunting through the stacks down there. One of the best in the city
Always a great vibe and cozy and stuff is soooooo good
The pecan à la monde, brownie à la monde and butter tart à la monde are simply amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff and great service. Will come again.
This place was very promising as it was the only indy coffee shop to open in the area. Too bad it suffers from extremely poor customer service. I was there with my family during the southside shuffle and had an extremely rude and incompetent person serving me. They charged me $ 1 for an ice cream cone just for my baby, when I asked if it had sugar in it, they said no. I tasted it and it was sweet, I then went back to them and requested they just give me a plain cone instead of a waffle cone. They said sure, but that it would be another $ 1. You gotta be kidding me! Most places would give a small baby an ice cream cone for free. Not these guys! Plus there was literally no one in the coffee shop. That's what happens when you get money hungry and rude. Like I said, too bad, as I was here before for coffee and had a good experience. If the owner is reading this, I would love to talk to you about my experience and point out exactly who I dealt with there. Oh, and me and my family love indy coffee shops. I guess Ill be going to Starbucks in Port Credit instead.
Fresh coffee and good vinyl records !
My wife and I went out for date night tonight and we were beyond joyed from the service, atmosphere and above all the treats and drinks! We got the coconut cream tart and it was so delightful we were fighting for the last bite ???? we highly recommend archtop to anyone! You won't be disappointed.
Very cool place, check out the basement. They've got lots of Sinatra
Meal type
What a great little café! Amazing coffee and pastries. Vinyl records for sale. Chocolate soft serve twisted with espresso - completely worth the $6.80.
Fantastic coffee, fresh ice cream and eats; love the vinyl vibe twist and independent shop feel and service style.
Great help with record players and a Good selection of vinyls Food looks amazing, didnt try but it was very tempting
Great place. Really cool decor and awesome ice cream
I like coming here on a Sunday morning. The vibe is nice, the coffee is good and so is the food.
By far my facorite coffeebar in the area. The products doesn't feel mass produced like Tim Hortons. When you ask for a macchiato; you get a really good macchiato! The cakes here are also amazing and they have a beautiful space to enjoy all those delicious treatments!
Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Not a lot of sitting space though.
Americano is average. Not sure why the manager doesn't wear a mask when there is a sign on the door that face covering required.
Friendly people and a lot of good vynol with good prices , to choose from.
Good coffee, but no on behind the bar was wearing a mask... bit of a safety issue for me.
Woman behind the counter was handling breakfast sandwiches with her bare hands and not wearing a mask, her colleague had her mask under her nose. Very slow service and breakfast sandwich still cold when it came out of the oven.
The best ice cream! Amazing and super friendly owners! 10/10
Still rating this place 5 stars but I wish the twisted duo was still available at the smaller location beside Seaway Cleaners
Interesting combination of a cafe and a music store. Lots of old vinyls available for sale, good sweet treats, and their teas are good.
Good coffee, trendy Port Credit location but little beat overpriced
Great little coffee shop/record shop with pasties and sandwiches. Downstairs is the record shop. Dogs are welcome!! Coffee is good and it's right next to the waterfront trail so you can take your drink and food and go eat by the water. They also have tables and chairs set up too.
NO MASKS ON EMPLOYEES FACES!! Just tried to go get a latte. Walked by small location and saw 3 employees behind counter not wearing masks. I decided to walk to the bigger location.... same thing! WEAR A MASK! YOU ARE SERVING FOOD!
Nice place, good food
Nice cafe and amazing coffee, specially mars bar latte!!
Great coffee and vinyl collection. Must visit local cafe in Port credit
Small little spot with a huge menu. The ice cream/espresso twist is godly.
Cozy and good coffee. I've only visited this place once. But it's what is needed. Good fresh selection of deserts and strong Americano. I'm looking forward to shopping the vinyl records the have in the other part of the store. It's small so get here early to snag good seats. Not exactly wheelchair accessible due to the small area to move around in, but worth a visit if you love vinyl or need a cozy spot to grab a coffee or sandwich with a friend.
Have visited 3 times now when in Ontario on business trips. Likely a main stop on future trips. Coffee was great, milkshake was super, the cake was delicious. But the records, the staff and the owner are what makes each visit great. Friendly, helpful and just all around a great atmosphere.
Good coffee, great service , near shop look and atmosphere!
Cool space, good eats, fast WIFI, and great service.
I forgot to ask for the name of the barista working at the time but I was there July 14th around 4pm. The barista was very nice and accommodating and made a welcoming environment. I was also there last Saturday afternoon and the barista there was patient as I was tired and trying to order ???? Also I'm happy that this cafe can serve anything decaf. I'm specific about the times I have caffeine during the day so it was pleasant to be able to get an iced coffee! Cool classic rock records from the 70s if that's anyone's cup of tea. Really cool place. Definitely recommend it!
Not wearing mask, mocked me because she couldn't hear me through my mask. Don't bother
I am addicted to their incredible Espresso beans!
Amazing selection!! New and old records. Best part is the basement!
It's a quaint little cafe in the heart of Port Credit. There aren't too many tables (maybe two or three plus a bar seating area for about three-four people), however, the owners take great pride in their coffee. Also, if you are into vinyl/records, they have a very good selection here as well.
The coffee here is one of my favourite coffees in the city. Many options to get the coffee just the way you want it. The service was very pleasant as well.
Omg !! My son had been talking about this place for eons and we finally went tonight. Excellent coffee and cakes and ice cream -- and walls (including a basement) full of vinyl!!! What a gem of a place.
Good coffee, cool vinyl
The mocha is exceptional ..the staff are very friendly, and location is best .
I love this little cafe. It's very small and cozy but I've always managed to find a seat. They have a huge record collection, very good coffee and treats and they are quite friendly. I always pop by when going for a walk in Port Credit.
The coffee is good .. the owner is very friendly...small vinyl record shop in the basement..nice little place to unwind as it is not so loud like your regular coffee chain..gives you an old Toronto- ish feel.
Absolutely wonderful. It is very small and very cozy:) We went there on Tuesday evening for a coffee and a small bite. Everything we ate was fantastic, coffee was fabulous! Service was outstanding! I love their establishment and I hope they have more traffic and more business, maybe they can build a patio at the back there their parking lot is :) With more small cocktail tables :) Anyways, we loved the place :)
A hidden gem in Mississauga. Simple, great tasting coffee for people who like coffee. Even if you're not a coffee connoisseur, give them a shot. I'm sure you haven't tried coffee like this.
Love this little spot. Cozy. Great music. Amazing desserts. Friendly staff.
Great place for vinyl record lovers.
Small place, but that's about the only reservation. Well kept place, great service, and awesome sandwiches, coffee, and latte. I would recommend this place and I would come back here again...
Love the vanilla and espresso twist. Nom!!
Amazing. The presentation of such a simple product like a hot chocolate was made very detailed and fancy. The taste of both the Peanut Butter Cookie and Hot Chocolate was immaculate.
Great coffee! My fave place to go in Mississauga. Great service and environment. Looking forward to sitting outside in the summer.
Unique ice cream! As a coffee and ice cream addict, I was super excited to see that Archtop had a special espresso soft serve ice cream option. It is super good! The chill drinks is good as well. Perfect to enjoy strolling along lakeshore on a hot summer afternoon! Taste: 5/5 (the espresso flavor packs a punch in case you are less invested in a caffeine hit) Presentation: 4/5 Value: 5/5 I will be back to try other offerings at the café!
Not a fan of coffee but i absolutely loved the mocha !!
Best cafe in PC, hands down! The atmosphere is fantastic, staff is friendly, and the quality of their food and drink is unparalleled.
Incredibly over priced. Don't bother.
I live in Port Credit and Archtop used to be my coffee shop of choice. I've stopped going there as often because at both locations they're so lax about wearing masks. This morning, Dec. 18, with covid cases soaring again, I looked in the window at each location and neither server was masked. So, yeah...I'm done with Archtop for now. Until they start to show greater concern for their customers, I'll be spending my money elsewhere.
Lovely place, cosy with good music, beverages are great, and the basement is full of vinyls!
The best milkshakes and customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Cool vibe. Good coffee.
Great atmosphere. Quaint little cafe with retro vinyl music. Very good coffee.
Try a duo! It is delicious soft icecream swirled with expresso coffee. Once you try it you will always come back!
We went there for their Duo (ice creams with a shot of espresso) and it’s the best thing ever!
Great place for coffee and something sweet!
Really love the coffee here and the staff is so friendly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to see a staff member not wearing a mask. I understand that there are health issues that don’t recommend the use of masks, but a face shield would have been nice to see, at least. Love this place, but probably won’t return until COVID is over.
Visited both locations that are within a block of each other. Great coffee and food, nothing better then espresso and soft ice cream in a cup.
Good place for a quick bite! Nice neighborhood spot.
Amazing record selection and the best ice cream espresso- hubby and I are patrons for life!
Randomly ventured into this cafe and was not disappointed. The coffee was great and the record collection downstairs was definitely interesting to check out! Will definitely go back
I ordered Cappuccino. Not satisfied at all.
Lovely little coffee place by the lake shore. You can have a nice cup of cappuccino or a shot of espresso while browsing the vinyl collection. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the drinks are just as amazing!
Neat location and really good brownies
First two times I went there, employees were rude. Third time, they got my order wrong (Togo cup instead of mug) and corrected it after asking. Then I realised I'd ordered caf by accident, and asked to switch to decaf -- "No problem!" She threw my drink away immediately, remade it decaf, then ASKED FOR MORE MONEY! Cafés give you a free replacement drink all the time. Not only did this one not do it, but she didn't warn me beforehand, and threw out my original drink! Just bad customer service. The one sip I had before it was thrown out wasn't bad, though.
First time to visit this place today. It has a very welcoming vibe, great for catching up with friends or just a simple chat. The staff is accommodating. Food are satisfyingly prepared with added details to look more appetizing. Definitely like this place and will come back ????????????
I recently tried their newest location and I was very disappointed. I’ve tried their first location and their simple coffees were good, so I expected the same here. I tried a flavoured latte and it tasted so sickly sweet I couldn’t finish it. The worst thing about my visit though was the lack of COVID protocols. There is currently a bylaw in effect requiring all those indoors to wear a face covering and neither of the staff working were wearing one when I went in. It made me especially uncomfortable that the woman making our drinks wasn’t wearing one, and that there was no sneeze guard around the lower set bar. I understand there are exemptions, but just a face shield one the employees would’ve have made me more comfortable. I probably won’t be returning until after the pandemic.
Good coffee and they make there icecream! Awesome tasting think.and creamy!
Nice quaint cafe with a good selection of vinyl and cd's. The couple who operate the cafe are very friendly and helpful with music knowledge. Comfortable atmosphere
THE GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES SLAP! ????✨
A coffee shop worthy to be in the best of cities. Happy (and grateful) to have it in Mississauga!
Decided to check this place out after reading a lot of good reviews about it on yelp- total disappointment. Coffee was meh, dessert/bakery goods display was vacant and the barista was rude.
Good atmosphere and coffee is good
Great music, wonderful people, excellent coffee.... Oh and the Gluten free brownies are amazing!!!
Quaint, friendly atmosphere. Good cup of coffee and baked goods.
Really small and cute cafe. Staff is good and its a good feeling to sit near the glass and gaze outside. Loved the nutella latte
Staff very nice food n baked goods yummy
Amazing coffee and atmosphere.
I had a very good coffee (Smooth Jazz) and blueberry bar at this charming cafe the other day. They have a huge selection of Vinyl records for sale; people were happily searching through the basement where there's row upon row of records. Had a nice chat with the owner - he's a sound snob like me ???? Would recommend. They've been there for 3 years and it's a little embarrassing I only now stopped in. Give it a go!
Friendly staff and quality selection of menu items!
Very nice and cozy.. Great coffee.. I'm very particular about my coffee and this is a place I'd come again for more.. Must go
Great coffee and great vinyl records.
Archtop has 2 locations making 1 GREAT cup of coffee, the best in Port Credit I might add. They are a quality-based group with consistency, which has me returning there for over 2 years!
The coffee was good but the Gluten-free butter tart was from heaven! ???? The staff is very friendly and you can get vinyl records too.
Great coffee. Super friendly staff!
All I can say is that it’s a little treasure store hidden away on lakeshore, definitely recommend this place
If you're serious about coffee, this is the place. Amazing food and snack as well. Great staff and service 6 Stars!
TRIPLE short shot cappuccino with almond milk, do yourself a favour ????
Great coffee and decor. Perfect for takeout and enjoying near the lakeside parks
For a local coffee shop, found the staff super uninterested and unfriendly. Do not care how great the coffee is, will be taking my money elsewhere. Also anti-maskers working there, no thanks.
Beautiful little cafe in Port credit, serving better espresso drinks than Starbuck and Second Cup. Delicious sandwiches and yummy desserts. The barista helping us was very kind and respectful. Overall a great place to grab a coffee and a bite on the go or sit down and enjoy the company of others in a quant cafe with a nice vibe. The decor is old school music/rock and the CDs/vinyl records they sell fits in the place nicely.
They have good coffee, bakery items, soft serve, ice cream, milkshakes. I particularly liked the soft serve affogato.
Great staff, responsive when I called, seating space cozy but also could spread out at window seats. Good coffee.. looking forward to going back for a latte instead of drip coffee though.. have had latte there and it was tasty!
Nice place to have lunch. The salads are really good and the staff there are courteous and pleasant.
Excellent service, very polite and even brought what we ordered to our table. The sandwiches were delicious and my sister in law she brother enjoyed their coffee. Would recommend this place for a nice little place to do work or grab a quick coffee /sandwich
I love all the products. Food is great. Staff very friendly. Soups are really good.
Watered down coffee. Don't bother getting a shot of flavour because it will just get watered down by all the water that's in the cup. I rather pay more money for Starbucks and actually have a drink with flavour than a cheaper drink that takes like dirty, leftover, coffee water.
People are awesome super chill place and fell in love with the soft serve espresso ice cream omg to die for will def be back for the nanaimo bars!!
My father stumbled across this place several months back and ever since I walked through the door and tried "Smooth Jazz" I no longer drink Tim Hortons brew anymore, Not just the coffee blends that are amazing but the music and staff gives this place a relaxing vibe. 5 stars In my personally opinion :)
Lovely service, amazing matcha latte.
Love this place! The owners are good people. The lattes are delicious and all thr baked goods I've tried are fabulous. Welcoming environment for all.
Been here a few times for great coffee but something seemed different the staff seemed just uninterested. Someone said there's new owners so maybe thats it, just not the normal welcoming or nice place we used to come too.
Someone referred me to here and I'm so glad they did! Great place to check out vinyls new & used while also sipping on some good coffee. The staff is friendly and really took the time to have a conservation. Highly recommend
Really good coffee, food and staff! Easy going atmo. Whenever I'm in the area I make it a point to come here. Shout out to Megan. Thanks for suggesting the rooibos latte. I wonder how the rooibos espresso fares...
Loved the ambience and friendly service
A very charming and cool place combining cafe with records! The staff are also friendly and know their products well. The feeling that comes to mind is they are ambassadors of vinyl, coffee, and even Port Credit. However, what's baffling especially in this day and age, is how could a cool place like this be frequented or even set foot by sleepers and those who in 2022 are called, "stuck in a time warp" (see some reviews here). The outdated narrative is toppling like dominoes, yet these types support it and still believe in it yet they go out? And to places such as Archtop? Stay home. If they are in a time warp and stuck in that matrix, then they must step aside and let the wide awake do their thing. Do not disturb, is the phrase here. Liberate yourself, and enjoy Archtop's great coffee. "Regulate your gov't, not your neighbours"
Great place! Heard the vinyl guy downstairs teaching some eager 15yr olds the history of Pink Floyd. Good place for diggin’ and fair enough prices. Well worth checking in once and while.
I only go to get these vegan cookies I like 'S'mores cookies'. they don't make it but they have it on stock, SO 4 stars for that lol. Everything else a pit pricey so bring it down to 3 because it isn't anything special. I'd give them 3.5 if I could
LOVE this place! The location, staff, menu, and overall atmosphere can't be beat. Music, coffee, treats, and always dogs passing by- what more could you ask for in a cafe! :)
Great coffee and atmosphere.
Just what the sign says.... great coffee, great food. Great vinyl. This is a warm and cozy cafe with attentive friendly staff. They just opened this location based on their Port Credit location. Two great places to hang out. Live music to come on the weekends soon! Cant wait!
Will not be returning. All items were subpar at best. The “Cesar salad” was nothing more than lettuce and dressing. The service was terrible. They spoke badly about another customer they thought was not in my group. She simply changed her mind after hearing a small milkshake was about 9 dollars. The two people who seemed to be “in charge” were obviously out of their depth when facing a “rush”. We went here to keep it local.. I’ll just go to Starbucks next time.
I give Archtop 5-stars as both a Cafe and a Record Store. I find their coffee to be superior to anything else in PC, and what little I've eaten there has been fantastic. And a record shop, I've picked up a few great finds and Ron (the curator) is taking care of me for my Record Store Day picks as well. I am realizing that not only can I shop there, but they can order any vinyl I want, and the prices for new vinyl are competitive. LOVE having this place in my neighbourhood.
Awsome theme, delicious coffee blends, lattes, and cappuccino
Definitely a gem in the neighbourhood. Drinks are great and location can't be beat. It is also child friendly.
Great place the wife and I always go for a walk at the credit and that is our first stop..great friendly staff and always good music in the background...great hot beverages
The espresso icecream twist is something to definitely try
Great lattes, super cool atmosphere, and the espresso ice cream is to die for! You have to try it out!
Cute little cafe with amazing espresso icecream :) Owners are friendly and the coffee is authentic. Highly recommend!
Great coffee and Albums...everywhere...they even have a turntable so u can play a track u wanna hear...awesome
I stopped in with my brother and Uncle to have a coffee while waiting for his plane. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the person running the shop was a pleasure to speak to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good cup of coffee.
Great sandwiches and baked goods.
This is the best place in Port Credit to get a tea and people watch on the sidewalk. Always fun to browse records with the kids and talk about how the magic of those 12” squares of fine art
Very good selection of food and cafe items, I’m very pleased
Coffee shop has turned into an anti-maskers dream. Not a single worker was wearing a mask, people were walking around the establishment at both locations with no masks. Not very considerate in that sense. That being said the coffee was great as usual. To get past the pandemic, we need to do this together. #Covidsucks
Three times I’ve tried shopping here and each time was an unpleasant experience. The first time I visited, there was a record I was interested in which wasn’t priced. They wouldn’t price it for me because the owner was absent...Ok. I came back again and inquired about the same record. The employee asked the owner, who was sat on a chair at the front, what the price was. The owner told them “not now” and brushed us off. The guy just didn’t feel like doing his job. Rude. Today I arrived at 7pm to see them locked up. I triple checked hours said open until 8pm (vinyl room). So I guess they just close whenever they feel like it...or perhaps update your hours online? The owner clearly doesn’t take running a business seriously.
Great selection of vinyl, awesome coffee!
During the summer season: Buy an affogato, then buy a sea salt cookie, take the cookie in the bag, crumble it up and then add it to the affogato. Best thing you had in your life. You can thank me later.
Great food, good service, awesome environment! Nice variety of food and drink options!
This is a fun little spot to stop when in Port Credit. I didn't check out the music selection, it's not really my thing. But, it's a cool thing to have. I tried a couple of sandwiches and they were fantastic.
Ive heard mixed reviews of the prices of vinyl at this cafe. Stopped by today and the used vinyl is just as expensive as the new releases. Are people actually paying these prices?.Guess the days are gone for finding a good deal on used records. No good day, Welcome to our store the Clerk was more interested in what was on their laptop.
I spend way too much on vinyl here. I’ve heard they have coffee as well. I’ll make sure to check next time I’m there.
Great place in Port Credit to have a coffee, tea or specialty drink (coffee related) with a delicious bakery item or vegan treat and do some record crawling.
Cool Little Coffee shop!
Fresh aromatic coffee with dairy free milk options. Soups and sandwiches too!
My favourite coffee shop. Amazing lattes
Need cinnamon scones ... Good service + reasonable prices & great music playing
Great service...and great treats!
What a find! Excellent selection of quality coffees, teas, shakes, smoothies and bagels etc. Great ambience and service - beats the pants off big chain brands!
Friendly, cosy atmosphere, good coffee, vinyl records collection to bring back memories. The music is in tune with the vinyls.
Very unique place that sells dessert, coffee, ice cream and vinyl records! I felt overcome with nostalgia looking at records from when I was growing up. Thank you Amanda for making my first visit a lot of fun!
Best tasting caramel latte I have had in ages. Great little cafe that also has a large selection of records for sale in the basement. Picked up a couple while enjoying my latte.
Fruit chiller says made with real fruit but not sure , didn't see any fruits go in my drink. Just coconut milk and a peach drink. Not very good. Very busy inside too.
Love this cafe! So nice to have a local independent cafe in Mississauga. They recently renovated (in the last year or so) -- beautifully done and there's more seating. I usually grab one of their loose leaf teas which I really enjoy. Their cookies are good as well. Nice atmosphere, especially if you're a music lover. They have a large vinyl collection downstairs that you can peruse and purchase. Definitely recommend it.
Best way to test how good a place's coffee is? Plain. Water + Coffee. I just enjoyed a fantastic Americano here. Really smooth, chocolatey flavour. I can only imagine how good it is as an espresso. Oh yeah - and the ambiance is lovely too.
Awesome coffee and tea, great atmosphere, excellent service, great vinyl selection - what more could you ask for? A new favorite spot in the heart of Port Credit!
They are pet friendly. I loved the experience of having a delicious herbal iced tea with my dog. I will be back for sure.
I love this place, I buy all of my records here. They have used vinyl in the basement, New vinyl and Cd's upstairs. They even have Players and believe it or not cassette tapes (Recordable). I really recommend it
Been coming here this fall. Great coffee!
Great coffee, staff cares about the quality of food and beverages
I was thrilled to hear of an independent AND organic coffee place in Port Credit. Finally! I moved from west Toronto (The Junction) where there's amazing coffee on every corner..for the most part, so I was feeling excited about trying his place as I did my regular 'mom walk' one morning with my baby. I ordered a 'bold' coffee, which I typically would as test for good coffee and it was...o.k. A little weak, to be honest. I wanted it to be better. I think this place has potential. The staff are friendly and I like the overall feel. My mom went in the next day and ordered an Americano...and there was NO crema on the top. Yikes! That's an espresso sin! Hopefully Archtop is just ironing out some kinks. I believe they'll get better and I will try again. Fingers crossed :)
Superb Nutella cappuccino!! Their gluten free brownie is a win. Reasonable and great service. Totally heading here again.
This is my fav coffee place in port credit! LOVE that it doubles as a record shop, and has records all over the walls. Such a cool feel! The lattes are amazing and food pretty good as well.
It was good, but very overpriced
Great place to hang out on the Lakeshore strip
Great little coffee shop. Nice, modern atmosphere & great staff...
from last 6 months in canada. ..i had my best coffeee over here...
Fantastic spot for a coffee, talk and see people go by. Oh, great selection of vinyl choices as well!
Fantastic great service ????
I had a drip coffee and a chocolate muffin, the location is a couple clocks away from the water! Didn’t get much of a chance to enjoy the location due to current restrictions, looking forward to returning when everything is more opened up. The seagull In The photo was determined to get my chocolate muffin. I had to be vigilant.
Loved it.. they have an amazing collection of vinyl YOU MUST TRY THEIR ESPRESSO ICE CREAM ...AMAZING !!
Super clean and felt very safe entering archtop cafe-staff following all cov19 protocols-tables well spaced and super coffee-will definitely be back
Good vibe, good americano. I'll be going back to go through the music.
Great place to enjoy coffee and cake. Coffee tastes so good, one of the best tasting coffees I had. Banana and Nutella cake is super delicious. Customer service deserves 10⭐️.
Aside from the stacks of records "not for sale" this place has great stuff.. however, given the condition of most of the records i checked out they are highly over priced. Peices seem to be pulled from discogs at the highest value even if the record is barely in a Good/Good state.. maybe sleeves have seem splits, corner bumps and signs of aging. Maybe scratches and dirt and mold residue on the vinyl itself.. one record had a fifty dollar tag but given the condition shouldnt have been worth more than 10 bucks. Whom ever prices these records needs better lighting and glasses...
Not recommended! Personally didnt like it!
I went there for the first time and loved all the sweets I tried there! They have a good variety of sweets. I tried a slice of their PB and fudge cheesecake, which was so rich in flavour, their soft and chewy ginger molasses cookie, and a bite of my friend's pecan square which was the best pecan sweet I've ever tried! The employee suggested having the pecan square with vanilla ice cream (which they also sell soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream) drizzled with caramel sauce! I will definitely have that next time! :)
Best dark roast coffee I have had anywhere. ANYWHERE. Great staff, great atmosphere, highly recommend the pecan squares too!
Great neighborhood coffeehouse Small, eclectic little coffeehouse cum music shop. Unique espresso based drinks and a nice change from the usual chain coffee shops.
Good teas and soft serve. Vegan option available too
I recently got LP player from wayfair so had to get the vinyl records too. They have some pretty decent collection. Coffee is good too
These people are so lovely and customer service oriented. Their products are quality and the service so jovial. We bike every weekend from Toronto to Port Credit and we stop there for coffee and treats. I talked to the owner last Sunday and they are opening another location in Port Credit, I just wish she would open one in Toronto but then I would not have to bike 30 km to get there and I would not get as much exercise. Thank you for your treats and your joy!
Great duo (ice cream and espresso)- the best I have ever had
Really like this spot. Perfect place to visit when you have some time to kill and want to browse through their huge selection of albums - always quite and well organized and great selection. Coffee and treats are real great too!
Wonderful and friendly staff. A nice neighbourhood cafe. They have amazing pastries, pies and cookies. My place for morning coffee and bagels.
Great food and beverages. Love this place
Great cake and squares. Had a Nutella espresso and Chai latte with their peanut butter chocolate cake and they were all delicious. Staff went above and beyond and you could tell they put pride in their work. Good ambiance and the records are unique
Super cool cafe, lots of vinyls. Food is very good
Coffee was amazing!
Awesome coffee and great service. I've never been disappointed here. Archtop is a local independent cafe that serves sandwiches, cookies and cakes. I always stop by if I'm in the area.
This small quaint bistro and/or coffee shop is perfect for those who are looking for a personal touch when getting served coffee..the servers are friendly and helpful.. I got a vegetarian sandwhich and it was delicious. Their latte was great and served on a fancy cup. Overall a great place
Excellent home style coffee, which made me fan of this place and made my next visit just within couple of days for an extraordinary twister with a hint of caffeine. Also love the friendly owner and staff. Must visit place ????
Lovely cafe with delicious organic fairtrade coffee, cool tea latte options, vegan syrups for lattes, vegan and gluten-free options. Would love more vegan options.
My favourite cafe! I have been a barista for a long time.. I know how real deal coffee beverages and how they are to be done.. most places do horribly (sorry!) Hyt this place has it right! They're delicious! They have vegan milks to choose from, they have great latte flavour choices. They actually know how to make spectacular foam from almond milk.. and they have the greatest chai latte I've ever had! Bonus! They have a variety of sandwiches-with vegan options and vegan cookies from sweets from the earth, so if you have dietary restrictions or are vegan.. you won't have to miss out. Bonus! The atmosphere is stellar! Music everywhere, very cool vibe and nice staff.
This place has been my saviour for coffee in mississauga
I'm a hard man to please (ask my partner!), but Archtop Cafe is a shining light in a world of conglomerates such as Starbucks and Tim Hortons. The quality of the coffee and desserts is just phenomenal. Perfectly brewed coffee, melt in your mouth desserts. Friendly service. Somewhere along the line we forgot about the honest man and little businesses in favour of corporate greed. Do yourself a favour and support the little guy!
Good service, great coffee and delicious pastries.
Very cool cafe! Great Nanaimo bars and iced coffee and they have oat milk!
Great people, cool selection of coffee, tea, and even vinyl records! I pass by several coffee shops regularly to get their Classic Rock bold coffee.
The staff is great! Check out their milkshakes, mango cheesecake & cookies! The cappuccino was impressive too
Loved it too much....specifically the espresso shot.. with ice cream ...must visit whenever u r near to port credit
Great coffe products here
Love this place .. great espresso
Tried to support this cafe instead of going to Starbucks for an iced tea beverage. Got the green tea sencha rose. I don’t understand it’s ice, water and throwing a tea bag inside. By the time my tea bag steeps in the cold water I’ll be waiting 6 hours… how hard is it to steep tea in the morning and have a pitcher to make iced teas? Pretty disappointed in the vegan options for food as well.
Delicious
Great "downtown-style" coffeeshop in Port Credit, latte was on point and the vinyl is cool
Excellent customer service, great drinks, and an outstanding selection of vinyl records.
Pretty good cafe & bar with a good vibe. Adjacent To a parking lot so easy to find parking. The chai latte and the cafe latte was really nice and we had a flour less brownie that was pretty good too. We were also here during Christmas time So the vibe overall was festive. The seating might be limited if you are going to the cafe side and not the bar side; so might have to stick with takeaway.
The best Cortado in Mississauga. Very yummy treats to accompany. Has many mill alternatives. A regular spot for my coffee dates. Greta album selection too.
The Archtop Cafe is a great place to have a coffee with a music-loving mate in Mississauga. The added bonus for music lovers is the decent amount of vinyl records downstairs that can be purchased. It can sometimes be hard to hear your mate in the shop if you happen to have coffee with someone there but overall the Archtop is a necessary breath of fresh air at a place that doesn't have a big brand behind it.
Good coffee good service. Independent atmospheric
I’m always on the lookout for a cool independent coffee house. I’m a fan of vinyl records too. So imagine my delight to find them both together under the same roof. After inhaling their delicious espresso ice cream I proceeded to check out the new vinyl on the main floor and overheard someone mention there’s used vinyl downstairs. I head down there and was in awe of the selection. While leafing through the records I met Ron who is very friendly and knowledgeable. He also gave me some great local suggestions for where to take my antique turntable for repair. I’m really looking forward to coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great coffee, great ambiance and great music – it’s all here.
Found this place about a month ago. Love it! They have well priced used vinyl downstairs as well as new ones upstairs. The place is well lit and clean. It has a very oldschool feel. The coffee they have is all fair trade which is important to me. The pastries are nothing special but hey, they taste better than Timmies. The owners are very friendly people and take the time to talk to you and have conversations with you.
This independent coffee house has delicious and unique tea lattes, for example a rooibos latte. I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that. If you can't decide, staff are helpful and offer good suggestions. They have high quality baked goods (huge cookies, croissants, pecan squares, brownies...) including some gluten-free option such as cashew cookies. The soups are delicious. Love the atmosphere for some solo time, getting some work done, or tea with a friend. I am picky about food and like things that taste homemade. It's far easier to find places lime that in Toronto, but it's rare in Mississauga. I was happy to find this place.
Gotta give this place the 5 stars. A cute little shop in Port Credit, Archtop is easy to miss, but not to be. Starting with an amazing cafe, with tons of great tea choices, freshly baked goods and delicious soft serve, best combined with their espresso. What's not to miss is in their basement... an amazing selection of records! Decent prices too. Will need to spend more time to really peruse the selection.
Mostly new pressings upstairs, older stuff downstairs. Fine café fare as well.
Great place, friendly staff, great selection of vinyl
Love the feeling when you walk in, great music, friendly staff, the food is great , coffee is amazing. They serve all day breakfast , live jazz music on Sundays Bloor west certainly needed a place like this. Welcone to the neighborhood????????????☕
Intimate little spot with a comfortable atmosphere. An added bonus is the large inventory of vinyl lp's
Neat little independent cafe in Port Credit
The way chai latte with oat milk is made at Archtop is one of my favs in the city!
A great find! Good music, great staff and warm treats. Will definitely be returning.
Always enjoy having a hot beverage there and you can't go wrong with their food selection!
