We were looking for a good coffee shop to stop on our way to Saskatchewan and we came across this place which we were very happy. We walked in and the place is bright clean well organized friendly customer service. The coffee was great as well. My one suggestion not complaint would be for them to put a hook in each of the washrooms for the ladies to hang up their purse.

Cafe Verve is a spacious, modern and cozy cafe with a modest but good drink selection, and a good lunch/pastry menu. I ordered the Tuscany half sandwich with borscht soup, and a 16oz Americano. Sandwich was very good, and the borscht was piping hot! There was also a coffee mix in bar with what you'd expect. Would definitely come back. Also, they do something I (as a customer) feel is very good. When asked to pay, the card machine does go to a tip option, but gives a default choice of 10% as the lowest option and NOT 15%. I feel like this is a rarity nowadays, and is worth mentioning. Good on Cafe Verve for this choice. Support your local businesses!

I loved this place. Highly recommended if you are ever in Medicine Hat. We ordered quite a few drinks (Italian soda, komboocha, matcha tea, coffee). We all enjoyed our drinks!

Shocker…..Probable best cafe in town. Fresh food, fresh coffee and amazing atmosphere. Staff super friendly and very happy you are there. Honestly, they staff are just genuinely happy to see you, they make you feel so welcome and at home.

I always enjoy popping for a coffee. The other evening they opened up their space to the college art students to do a sketch night. It was great to see people sitting around creating. Hopefully this concept will catch on and there will be more mingling with people you don't know. It's been so long since I've drawn anything but I enjoyed sketching a picture of a giraffe that I took last year in Namibia. I will certainly make an effort to take in the next workshop.

Despite the quarantine measures, Verve Cafe still feels welcoming and warm. The food is great and what's definitely worth trying is their cold brew nitro coffee. A great local spot.

My new go to! They accommodated their menu to suit my Keto needs. It's a preppy vibe, beautiful local paintings displayed along the walls, friendly, clean, comfy chairs or tables (cafe style). A local hidden gem. They sell breakfast, lunch, and yummy treats. I had breakfast- yum. Specialty teas and coffees.

What a little gem this cafe is! They brew rosso coffee. My latte was smooth, delicious and the perfect amount of hot. The owners are both very genuine and kind. Super cool artwork to! Its a must try

I'd been told they would create a design of my latte foam without even a stencil, and got no design at all or was even asked. The latte itself was a bit off-tasting. The reason for the extra 2 stars of the 4 stars is for the environment- WOW! Local art hung on its walls, we sat in the big, comfy chairs set in front of a fire place. The entire coffee shop was packed- my friend and I had 3 seats to choose from, which were the chairs by the fire place. The 3rd empty chair was also quickly occupied! We shared 2 cookies- mine was very stale tasting. Could the atmosphere be worth perhaps a second chance? Probably.

The cappuccino was flavourful with delicious foam. We ordered a quiche which was delicious with a great homemade crust and served with a fresh side salad. Free filtered water was available. Other meal salads served looked attractive too. Highly recommend.

Eugene presents himself as a very easy going and polite host/owner and his wife is even more welcoming. Very relaxed Ambience, and live music every Friday I believe. Definitely worth a visit while in Medicine Hat. *I am NOT a coffee connoisseur ** I am glad they support the folk music community by hosting local artists and those on tour.

Stopped by on my way to Banff. The service, food and coffee were so good! The staff let me sample the Nitro cold brew coffee before ordering one and it was honestly so dang good! The breakfast sandwiches and muffins were also delicious. Not to mention the staff were super friendly and we had some lovely chats. Would definitely visit again!

Art and food! The Jean's are the most wonderful couple. They create great food and an ever changing environment. The art is always beauty and the food delish! New items added to the menu all the time. Lots of seating with big bright windows. Cozy fireplace in the corner. Has 2 washrooms with wheelchair access. Their gallery walls always have new art on display every few weeks. New artists and well known locals! A real treat to the community and great parking to explore other nearby shopping.

I’m always on the search for traditional cappuccinos while traveling for work. Google found me this place and I wasn’t disappointed. Immediately satisfied before opening the door to this cafe as there is a notice saying they use Rosso coffee beans, one of my favourite places to get a cappuccino in Calgary. There is plenty of parking and lots of seating options in the cafe. The staff were very welcoming taking their time with the couple in front of me and their menu. The menu. Wow! So many things I wanted to try from the fall salad option to their non coffee drinks such as tumeric golden milk. Lots of gluten free baked options too! My traditional cappuccino was delicious and I will be back the next time I’m in town and have time to sit next to the fireplace.

Cafe Verve is one of our favorite spots to spend time in Medicine Hat both as a family with our 2 young children and just for coffee/lunch dates. We have yet to be able to attend one of their evenings featuring local artists but the owners and employees seem to take great pride in their establishment and are incredibly welcoming and kind. The food is consistently delicious (hard to find a great cup of tomato spinach soup but here you can!) and the coffee can be a cup of "heaven" on most days! Having moved from large urban centers, it is exciting and calming to find places like Cafe Verve where we can feel at home. Thank you!

Cafe Verve is a place with amazing atmosphere. The live music is just another aspect of making it unique! The staff are very people oriented and enjoy making the customers comfortable! They support local artists which a lot of people don’t get a chance to see which says a lot for their community spirit!! Last but not least their food is constantly growing in new delights, and the staff has a vision for new experiences for their customers and oh yeah it also tastes amazing too!! I love it!

I went there last year with my friend. No idea the Café Verve existed. I genuinely enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, such great staff and wonderful selection of eats, treats and bevvies. Hope I am able to come back soon to relax with my writing and enjoy a great mid-afternoon lunch.

This is a brand new hidden gem within Medicine hat, not only do they strive to please their customers, they also showcase many local artists in our area.... There is something about this wonderful cafe that gives you a sense of community and belonging that I can't really put my finger on nor find words to convey. The owners put so much more than money into this business and it shows. The staff is friendly , the drinks are so yummmmmyy (try the cold brew, it is perfection) and the food .... delicious ! I have been to so many cafes in Medicine Hat and have left disappointed in the quality of goods as well as customer service.... I think Cafe Verve is going to give a lot of other Cafes a big run for their money! Loved it! This is a business I will gladly support ^_^/
