I had a dream last night that I went into your establishment for a walk-in appointment, and the only person working there told me that she did "premium haircuts", and charged $35-$40. I accepted and we went into a vault at the end of the room which replaced the staircase that is usually there. Inside the vault the ceiling was very high, much higher than the actual building was, and she activated the water as she left. As the water soaked through my clothes I figured I was supposed to take a shower. As time passed I realized that she wasn't coming back, and I looked at the controls for the shower and pressed the emergency stop button. The water ceased and when she let me out she sat me down and gave me a very relaxing haircut, although she forgot to get this one tuft of hair by my neck that was the sole reason that I wanted to get a haircut in the first place. Honestly I wouldn't feel right giving you guys the full 5 stars for missing that crucial tuft, and also because the shower vault's water was a bit too hot and I couldn't figure out how to make it cooler. So I'm gonna have to give my dream/review of your business within my dream only four stars.

I was meeting a guy and he suggested it. I was pleased he did as it turned out to be an interesting place that judging from the customers is really popular. I had an espresso and it was delicious. They have a pleasant staff and sell a variety of coffee delights. They also sell coffee beans and ground coffee. If you are in the area you should drop in!

Beautiful little coffee shop. I had an Americano and my sister had the Iced coconut latte. Both drinks were very tasty. My only complaint is that they only had Sweet n Low instead of stevia for a sugar alternative. Still giving 5 stars because the service was amazing and drinks were done perfect.

My favorite coffee shop in Winnipeg. I've always been extremely pleased with the coffee there and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The V60 (pour over coffee) is my go to if I'm bringing a book or my laptop but their Americanos are also really good if I'm in a hurry (just get it in the shorter 8oz cup for more flavor). Only downside is that it can sometimes be a bit noisy inside if you're there when it's very busy but they also have some nice outdoor seating for Spring/Summer/Fall as well. Prices are good for what you get. $2.50 (or maybe $2.75?) for an Americano and $3.50 for the V60 -which is a good price for the quality you get, in my opinion. They sell pastries and donuts as well if you're looking to snack.

Decaf coffee is very good. I forgot how good it can be since I've been drinking Starbucks lately. (Starbucks is acceptable but Thom bargen is better) This was my old haunt for coffee with my Hipster coffee buddy. Since he left was when I started doing google reviews, so its been awhile since I'd been here. Its got big bright windows. Shared common seating. Parking is a bit of a pain. My friend tried the drip coffee and was very pleased. They sell oh doughnuts (not a full variety but a few flavors) PRO TIP: they do have a parking lot in the back. Not everyone knows about it...

I like that they change up their espresso from time to time. Downside is the limited seating. If you order to stay, make sure you have a spot first. Also, make sure you have a vanilla latte... you wont regret it! My usual friend/guest has the hot chocolate and it is phenomenal.

I normally don’t eat a lot with my coffee but a nice selection of cookies and gluten free options would improve there standing with me. I felt like I was entering a library or cold doctors office. If I were just rating on the quality of coffee and friendliness, I’d give them a 5+. If “dirty was the new clean” (as it seems to be nowadays in many restaurants/coffee shops) then I would also give them a 5. However, I feel it necessary to rate them at 3 because the shop could use a good, thorough cleaning and then kept clean on a daily basis. The dirt is not from usual traffic but from lack of cleaning. It just takes one to look at the corners of the floor and under the tables to see that the dirt is old dirt, especially when visiting in the morning when one would think the cleaning would have occurred the night before, at the very least.

One of the best coffee roasters in Canada, no doubt, and a friendly staff. As a sit-in location, however, this particular shop did not deliver. The environment implies a place where one can sit for a couple of hours and do their work, yet the complimentary internet connection was extremely slow, the washroom did not have toilet paper (at all), and some of the seats have been placed on top of vents from which a freezing cold draft blows on one’s legs. Yet, while the overall experience was not astounding, my ice latte was absolutely impeccable, as usual.

Easily one of my favourite coffee shops in the city. The staff are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to their art. They won't hesitate to answer any questions you may have about how the coffee is made, what kind of beans they use, etc... Highly recommend the mochas or getting a coffee made with the pour over method (V60) and drinking it black. Superb espresso is available here as well as a wonderful selection of locally baked goods.

Having visited Thom Bargen Coffee on Hargrave, it was great to drop in on the Sherbrook St location, after a walk through the West Gate area on a Sunday afternoon. The coffee spot was hopping, and there were line ups for service. I had a lovely soy mocha and a cookie. I loved the "living wall" of plants and the sunny window seats at the high counters aling the Sherbrook St windows. I will note that this location is not totally accessible, as the only washroom is at the back, up four or five stairs. Nonetheless, we loved the whole vibe.

A friend of mine took me there. And let me say there are plenty of coffee shops in winnipeg but very few has the environment of a proper coffee shop. Thom bargen is one of them. Its classy front desk people are awesome , always smiling. I wasnt there for a longer time but even that short visit gave me a vibe! I would definitely go there with my wife again. However kinda concerned about my 2.5 years old boy. Doesn't look like a kid friendly coffee shop(not saying in a negative manner). Its so quite and calm that kids might disrupt the environment. Anyways i liked this place a lot!! You would too! If you haven't visited this place yet, i highly recommend you do so!!

Usually go because it’s convenient & close by. Coffee is ok, probably won’t go back after being told that I can’t get raw sugar in my iced latte, because it’s inconvenient for them to melt, and that I should use their simple syrup because it’s much easier. Well I don’t think my order is overly complicated, and some people prefer unprocessed sugar over regular. Also, if someone is asking for something within reason, they should never dissuaded because it will take the barista an extra 10 seconds...

This is one of my favourite spots in Winnipeg. The coffee is always fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great for coffee dates, studying, working, or reading! This morning I got a large macadamia milk latte and it made my day 100% better. The punch card is an awesome perk. I've had minimal issues at this location - sometimes the fancy coffee drinks don't taste that great, they don't have any gluten free treats (although that's probably good for my waistline and my wallet), there are a few staff that sometimes aren't friendly or don't make great lattes - but I will most certainly continue to go back and enjoy this coffee shop. :)

I usually go to the Sherbrook Location and I like the atmosphere of the shop, the drinks are a decent price point and the non-dairy milk selection is great. I hope one day there is a handful of savory snacks available. Great spot though, worth a stop.

I consider this to be the best place for coffee in the city! The quality is consistently very high and I would say the best cup I have ever had has come from here. The staff are all very friendly. They use beans from Phil and Sebastian coffee roasters in Calgary. The environment is very bright and with the expansion there is a good amount of seating.
