Great coffee! Delicious soups and paninis, and the snacks are tasty too, not to mention the gelato! Lots of natural light and plenty of seating space. There's a reason it was voted Winnipeg's 3rd best coffee shop!

Pleasant and quiet atmosphere, with ample seating. but unfortunately the coffee tasted like watered down earl grey tea. My grilled cheese sandwich was nothing to write home about, and given the price I'd say it wasn't worth it. If your just looking for some place to sit and relax for a moment, this place will definitely do. But if your looking for a good cup of coffee and food that is worth its price, there are better options.

Fresh tasting and delicious food for lunch, big open windows, free parking for two hours, friendly staff. I routinely have soup and egg salad with dill - delicious. Coffee is good too.

Great ambience with huge windows, high ceiling, nice coffee and made-on-site food bar. Several soup and sandwich choices were delicious. Coffee is fair trade but bitter taste.

Beautiful sunny space with enough seating for our group of 9! Really cute place for coffee or lunch and the gelato is my absolute favourite. Even when the line was long they were timely in getting the food out, we’ll definitely be coming again :)

I just been here for the first time, and first impressions for this place are amazing, my two friends who are like brothers to me were talking about how amazing this place is for the first 5 minutes of our coffee break! Fantastic staff, fantastic food (I recommend the pepperoni pizza panini) and the gelato is always delicious (London dog and hazelnut are my favourites). Tends to be busy at night because of students and early mornings but otherwise, I recommend!!

Brilliant bright setup and fancy airport-style order cafe. The donuts from Oh Doughnuts are fantastic. The espresso is fairly acidic-tasting though, similar to Little Sister unfortunately. The hot chocolate and coffees are outstanding. Friendly service and good prices. Lots of menu options for food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Folio sells coffee that is very interesting in flavor, mostly using a relatively medium roast, and is housed in what is undoubtedly the grandest architecture of any café in Winnipeg. They are located in the multi million dollar new expansion of the Canadian Mennonite University. What is also unusual is the fact that a significant library is right next-door, and you’re allowed to take your coffee in and browse.

The service and selection of products is a perfect blend, and their coffee is exceptional, detour coffee brand is single origin and small batch coffee and that's hard to find in this city. Keep up the good work also I didn't mention the beautiful space you can sit either in the spacious foyer and look outlet to the university campus or upstairs with lots of clean comfy chairs

We had a lovely pit stop at Folio Café in the Canadian Mennonite University camous on Grant at Shaftsbury, after an outing to Fort Whyte Alive. We had a lovely coffee and a cookie and took in thd besutiful surroundings on a sunny Winter day. Can't wait to go back in the Summer!

Great coffee, delicious & affordable food. Beautiful atmosphere with lots of natural light for a meeting or doing work. For those complaining about the price of coffee, you are paying for the quality. Price is on par with other hipster coffee shops. If you prefer to bring your own, there seems to be no objections to people bringing drinks and food from home/other establishments while using the space.

I love this place! The coffee was nice! I think the bean was fresh coz I feel comfortable after I drink. Staff are friendly. Once in awhile we end up here for an afternoon cappuccino. The building is beautiful and the restaurant space is open and bright. It is interesting to see a mix of students, teachers, and people like us stopping in for something to eat or drink. The coffee has always been good, the food looks good but have not tried it yet. On your way out stop in at the book/ gift store. You never know what you might find.

Best kept secret in the city. The soups and sandwiches are delicious and the Americano is the best in the city ???? I recommend going solo and grab a seat by the window and enjoy the view.
