What a beautiful little coffee shop! I had to spend a few hours on the laptop, so I decided to crash here for a bit. The coffee was delicious, the muffin I had was very yummy and fresh and the atmosphere was friendly and super comfy. It was a great place to work. The place has free WiFi, but you'll have to ask for the password. They have a small selection of boardgames and I overheard the managers talk about hosting boardgame nights. If I ever go back to Magog, I'm stopping there again for sure.

I had heard how good the food is here at La Shop and ventured over for lunch one early afternoon. At 13:45 and we were told only take out was possible because they close at 14:00. OK, surprising that we couldn't sit and order with 15 minutes before closing but alright strick policy is a rule (as I then found out). We, of course, ordered to go. I am allergic to dairy and EVERY but EVERY sandwich on the menu has cheese in it and while they assemble each sandwich upon ordering - they REFUSED to accommodate me by simply not putting cheese in a (any) sandwich. Insisting that it was the restaurant policy to NOT make any modifications to anything on the menu. I've never faced such intolerance in any restaurant, ever. I was shocked at the server's insistence that they just would not take my order. So be it. If you have any special needs DON"T GO TO LA SHOP. However, we ordered a breakfast item and it was delicious!! Now I see my receipt is from the neighbouring RESTAURANT FONDISSIMO, hopefully they don't adhere to the same strict (anti-client based) policies.
