What a great discovery! I needed to grab a tea and work on my computer and located No 9 on Google Maps. I popped in and ordered a dirty chai latte (chai latte with a shot of espresso - yes, please) and a chocolate raspberry meringue tart called my name. Friendly staff, great space, free wifi, and in the heart of Lunenburg.

Truly charming coffee place in Lunenberg. The cookie was delicious as was the hot breakfast item that we had. The decor, however, was what captivated me. I felt like I was transported a little back in town and the vintage charm was incredible.

When you walk in it looks just like any other local cafe. The guy in line behind my partner and us suggested it was a nice to day to sit out on the patio. It was so beautiful, and peaceful, to enjoy a good cup of coffee in a vibrant green garden. The scones and coffee were delicious, the garden patio was beautiful, and the fact that they are plastic free was a great bonus!

The coffee was really good yet the hot chocolate was just okay. A little on the pricey side but you get a nice local friendly service which is a big plus for me. The pastries the kids ate where apparently quite good as well, however I did not taste them myself. All the other pastries also looked great. We did not have a meal so I won't comment on that yet I can say that all the food was very fresh.

A hidden gem that's well worth a visit if you're nearby. It's a cosy little place with a few different areas for customers which allows you to enjoy the sun outside, have a quiet spot indoors or find a little nook in the corner to read a book while enjoying your coffee. The pastries and baked goods were awesome and the coffee was just as good!

Pretentious , over priced, poor service, crowded (because tables are too close), noisy. Extra charge for refill of already over priced coffee. NO go-to cups. Don't Go here unless there is no other place to go. Maybe they will get their act together.

This is a frequent stop for me and I'm not even a coffee drinker. Their early morning selection of freshly baked goods are get to get you started. I've been taking in their evening menu, which serves up something a little different from the usual Lunenburg fare, and the dumplings are my personal highlight. For some though, the garden out back will seal the deal. From morning to night it's a peaceful retreat from the summer bustle of downtown Lunenburg. Definitely carve out some time in your schedule to unwind here.

A very charming coffee shop! The espresso is good (they use Java blend beans) and the baked goods all looked so good I wanted to try them all. I ended up ordering a raspberry square which was excellent. The garden patio in the back was very nice and sunny. I look forward to coming back here

This is solely based on the taste of food, it’s not my favorite. Maybe I ordered the wrong item that didn’t fit my taste. The food looks very healthy and pretty though. And I liked the matcha latte even it doesn’t have any sugar, I actually preferred it, feels healthier :p

Beautiful cafe with great coffee . They know how to make a good flat white . Most baristas at Starbucks have no clue how to make one. The breakfast galette was delicious and the flat white was perfect . Highly recommend this place

We were really unfortunate to be on very tight schedule to missed the chance to dine-in at this lovely cozy coffee shop! It is located at this amazing location in heart of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The coffee tastes great, they are variety of baked goods and we loved the Lemon Coconut Square. The owner was very nice, order was ready quite fast and bathroom was clean. If you have a chance, try this place for sure.

The shop had a very cozy atmosphere and the barista was very nice. My wife and I stopped for some breakfast. We didn't end up trying the coffee (had some at the Airbnb) but the breakfast itself was decent. I thought it was a tad pricey for what we had ordered though. We would go again. (My wife took a bite before I was able to snap the pictures!)

Very cool cafe. Had a cortado to go and found it a bit acidic but some people like that. Cookies looked good. Barista was nice. Great ambience. Beautiful garden patio in the back. Went back july 2019: excellent iced latte. They foam the milk a bit and its really nice. And they dont dilute with too mich milk. Chocolate walnut brownie was divine. My wife really enjoyed their gluten free peach cake.

Kids and I had a croissant that was as good as one from Paris! Latte with almond milk...granola with steamed milk, and some sourdough with Jam. Going back tomorrow for breakfast again! Must have a scone, and breakfast sandwich!

Best coffee in Lunenburg! The baked goods are excellent too! There is a lot of indoor seating, as well as plenty of space on the patio, which is dog friendly. Very clean. Friendly service too. This cafe alone is worth the drive from Halifax! Highly recommend! ????

Very nice chai tea latte. No need to go anywhere else, and worth a trip just for a refreshment or a snack. Update: they have just introduced a glass jar with a metal screw on lid as the hot drink take out container - simply does not work while driving a car!!!

I love No. 9, it offers a variety of drinks and the staff have always been friendly to me, alternative milk options are available and it is a nice place to sit down with friends or chill by yourself. Wait times vary and can be longer than expected at times but it is understandable when only one or two people are taking orders, if you are patient you are sure to to have wonderful coffee whether you decide to stay and enjoy the atmosphere with a book or take your coffee to go.
