We were visiting North Bay. We picked up a couple of things there. We'd forgotten a birthday for a close family member in Australia. It was Sat evening so I went to the service desk to send some $ quickly through Western Union. I have done this a dozen times at home in Oshawa and now in Belleville. They usually ask for ID (Drivers License) and I am already in the system going to family in Australia. Here they asked for that plus a bill or something else with your address. Never been asked for that but this place refused to do it without mail, etc. I asked for the manager and she said the same thing. Incredible. If it's the rule at all Walmart's, why not here in Southern Ont?? I'm a senior and I was really disappointed with this store.

I didn't have my cell phone on me at the moment and had to meet my b/f there...I asked a cashier close by if there was a phone i can use, and he pointed me to the customer service desk: so I asked at the customer service if I can use the phone...it was an elder fella with glasses....he started yelling at me saying .."NO!!its a business line "(even though they NEVER answer!!) I said whatever never mind then. =( (just about in tears) he says "yeh u can use the phone.....YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS!!!!" What I like about Walmart especially is the 11 PM closing time. This place is very busy during the day so I prefer shopping late at night when checkouts aren't busy, parking near the entrance is easy to find and your visit time until your exit time is probably twice as fast as as daytime shopping. I have two serious medical conditions which deplete the necessary amount of oxygen I breath. I've tried a mask and within a couple minutes the oxygen depletion caused me to lose consciousness while slowly walking for a couple minutes. I fainted on a hard floor. After I took the mask off while on the floor, I was breathing heavily for a couple minutes to restore my oxygen level. When the mask business occurred, earning mask sellers billions $$, I continued to go to Walmart without a TV promoted mask. My medical exemption legally protects me from mask freaks and store personel, although there are many businesses who don't know of the legal exemptions and the government Dictators never include the mask exemptions with their mask restrictions. Walmart is one place where I'm not harassed by employees or customers. Store customers I've spoke with, who also have breathing problems like emphysema, copd, lung damage, etc., seem to want to tolerate wearing a mask because they want to be like the rest of the masked people and not stand out as being different . I can't relate to these people who are afraid to be different than everyone else.

This is my favorite location, I live equal distance to Huntsville, Parry Sound and North Bay. Huntsville and Parry Sound don't carry half the products even the Walmart brand items, very frustrating when out with friends and they take me to those locations. Neither one ever sells Pepsi, that is a product I expect to see in all Walmart's but 90% of the time they don't even have a spot on a shelf for it. North Bay has everything!!!!! The only location I enjoy shopping at. Thank you North Bay Walmart for being such an amazing location with fantastic customer service always.

The pharmacy staff is great and always helpful, easily one of the best Walmart pharmacies I've been to. However, stock here is hit or miss and the same can be said for the staff. I've had dealings with one staff member in particular who has always been very rude for no reason. One time when I asked him a question regarding product stock he got very short with me and walked off. I asked another staff member and they helped me find what I was looking for, but I still dread having to deal with this particular staff member everytime I go in. That being said, the greeters are always friendly and helpful and if you have any questions it's probably best to ask them.

Visited Walmart at Bayshore Drive, today for the first time to grocery shop. I was appalled that there was not a dispensary of hand sanitizers when entering the grocery part of the store. How unsanitary, especially when the public are putting their hands on the cart handles and then touching items such as fruit and produce. Interesting, there is a dispenser just outside the Washroom area that is dispensing dry paper towels. Again, how unsanitary, please don't assume each person coming from that area has actually washed their hands. Many just rinse and walk away. Don't bother online orders. No way to check in on the app and no one ever answers the phone line. Finally gave up after waiting for someone to pick up and went in. Only to be cold told by the blond standing at the booth to call the number - which was STILL RINGING. Little punk kid then tries to tell me I am on hold WHEN IT WAS STILL RINGING. Mgr gave me the total blow off when I suggested he have a staff member actually talk to ppl pulling up. Another 20 min inside, 5 more ppl come in with the same issues. Giant tiger here I come

The produce at this location isn't as fresh as it could have been. I have seen moldy and soft melons on numerous occasions. I have seen limes and oranges on the ground. People touch produce and put it back. Prepackaged produce is your best bet but not worth the effort and money. My worst experience at this location was that I was at a self-checkout for 30 minutes with the help request light flashing and nobody came. I just decided to go to a regular cashier and she did not speak very much English. She was terrible at math so she unknowingly gave me $5 off of my purchase. I do not suggest this place for quick visits because it is often busy. Many employees don't seem so enthusiastic about being there. Many items can be found for a lower price at other locations. This location is overall mediocre and not much different compared to other Walmart stores.

I went to the store at 8:30 and the manager would not let me in. He said that he was out of his quota. There was another couple in front of me that arrived there by bus. He also sent them away. I told him you know some people cannot get here easily and you're sending them away. It is only 8:30 and your hours they are open till 9. He stated he was the operations manager and he decides what the hours are and apparently was going to take forever to get the hundreds of people out of Walmart. The Walmart attendant in that Dept was helping someone and it was taking a long time, which is understandable. My low review is for the fact that I only needed 25 seconds of his time to buy a phone and that wasn't possible. So I left and spent my money at Best Buy. Which they helped me above and beyond.

I called these guys and nobody picked up from ANY of their departments for one hour plus. Finally got through to some braniac at the Toy's department who started yelling at me and telling me he didn't know how to transfer me to 'electronics'. Would advise to go to another Walmart. This particular branch is terrible. Would also advise whoever is in charge to step up his game at this branch and to start hiring people with an IQ over 60. I went to this location to use the Portrait Studio and never in my life have I received such terrible customer service. When I asked how much grad portraits were if I only wanted one picture, I was given a reply that may have well just told me to go away. Edit : Got a call today saying that my second appointment for Pfhizer vaccine was cancelled. Poor standards. Awful parking lot. I cannot drive my truck in. I have to park outside and walk in. Wished they renovated the spot at Lincoln fields instead of moving. The photo centre have 4 machines but every time I come here there are always problems with all of them. The staff doesn't care that the machines doesn't work. Either remove them or fix them. Not worth the hassle of coming here. Will seriously consider other options over this location. Really poor standards here.

The worst Walmart I have ever been to. Period. I highly do not recommend anyone go here looking for good or even decent customer service. As I was shopping around the mall,I decided to detour from my course and take a quick trip to Walmart to pick up some Christmas shopping items. As I go in, I go to use the electric carts they have where people can sit on them. There was an employee who gave me instructions on how to use it, so I thought this was great. As I was using it and finding items for my list, a manager by the name of Ryan comes up and asks me why I am using this cart. I tell him that I am using it to shop for my items. He doesn't say anything, so I continue on with my shopping. As I am browsing some candy canes, he comes up to me and tells me that I have to get off the cart, as it is for handicapped people. I was about to explain to this man that I have weak knees and cannot stand for a long period of time when he demands me to get off the cart or he will kick me out of the store. I have no choice at this time, so I ask him "Can I at least return it?" The manager arrogantly responds with a resounding "No" and as he is about to go on the cart, I ask him why he is getting on the cart if it is for handicapped people. He then yells at me to get out of his store, which doesn't make sense because first of all, I was trying to buy something from the store, which would increase their profits, second of all, no one was using their carts so it wouldn't have hindered someone else, and third of all, it wasn't his store. It was walmart's.I decide to be the bigger person in this situation and oblige to his rules, and as I am walking out of his store, he thinks it is a good idea to follow me out of the store, watching my each and every move. I hope anyone who needed to use the cart as bad as me won't have their situation go down as bad as mine, and I will call Walmarts headquarters to make sure something gets resolved, because behaviour from the so called "Fulfillment manager" is absolutely absurd and out of place at an establishment like Walmart.

Staff stalk you and make you feel uncomfortable when it is close to closing time and like most North Bay stores, they close early. As soon as I walked in the store at 10:40 PM, the young, short, male manager informed me that the store closes in fifteen minutes. He should be welcoming me to the store instead of giving me some kind of stern warning. The store has frequent, irritating announcements every five minutes when it is close to closing and then at 10:58 PM, they announce that it is 11 PM and ask everyone to leave. When I am shopping after 10:30 PM, I feel like I have to sneak around because if employees see me, they will start following me around the store and asking me to leave even though it is not 11 PM yet. The young, short, male manager has a very negative attitude towards customers. Stressful shopping experience. Beauty department is dirty and disorganized. They pull the covers over the refrigerated section and the produce section at around 10:45 PM, which is unacceptable and makes shopping difficult for people who have to shop at night. Cashier made comments on my purchases and it made me feel uncomfortable. Managers don’t seem to care if you get home safely. Terribly rude employees in make up and in women’s clothing. The make up staff were more watching me carefully as if I was going to steal something than assisting me with finding what I needed, and it was very offensive to me. None of the staff knew the return policy, even the staff at customer service so best to look it up online. Employees should focus on being professional instead of being rude, nosey nancys. Mcdonalds should be open until 11:00 PM. When you are exiting the store, a staff member gets too close to you and says goodbye while inspecting you up and down to see if you’ve stolen anything. When I was leaving the store, I saw two employees going through a customer’s backpack. A very uncomfortable ending to a very uncomfortable shopping trip.

This is my second terrible experience at this Walmart. The first is when they wouldn't allow you to leave the parking lot with your cart and now with Doug Ford's rules they won't sell you certain items due to restrictions and curbside pickup only. I live an hour from the nearest Walmart and to be told that I'd have to wait 2 hours for an item I had in my cart could not be purchased in store is ridiculous. Essential or not they are in the store to be purchased.

Months after opening, the store remains very disorganized. Customers cannot find what they are looking for. The "International Food Aisle" is all over the food section, not in one aisle, like Baseline. The British section, that we loved, is gone and I was told was "no longer available". Much to my surprise, when I went to Baseline, guess what?!?! The British section is still very much there, with every item STILL available. Although it's a bit of a hike, my family will be doing the majority of our shopping at Baseline. Six months after opening, everything should be properly in place and well stocked. It claims to be a super store, but again, Baseline has a much better selection. There is also no portrait studio, in a neighborhood with lots of children. In many ways, Lincoln Fields was a better store, and it is missed.

One associate just gave me a lecture in a disrespectful manner at the self service kiosk.. I was scanning my items thinking that I can only use 1 bag but unfortunately I need to use another bag and the machine beeped calling for assistance. The guy came to me to press two bags next time. He said now it needs my help. I thought the reason why associates are there standing is to help costumers when they needed assistance? I didn't appreciate how he told me. It sounded like he was complaining because he needs to come and swipe his ID. I was upset. I am a regular costumer with Walmart here and abroad. I don't deserve to be treated such rude manner. I deserve to receive quality and respectful services just like other costumers.

I never had a problem exchanging an item til the new guy with a turbine told me "Walmart don't do exchange on sale item". Why do you put up someone in costumer service if they don't know there policy. I've done exchanges before with sale items, I suppose one will make their own rules too discriminate some costumers. She’s rude and not helpful and stands at her little booth being useless. While I miss the Lincoln Fields location, the new Bayshore Wal-Mart is awesome in so many ways! The staff, I find, although sparse, are friendly and helpful. I am always greeted with a friendly 'Hello' and a smile, whether at the check out or in the store. The size is impressive, perhaps that is why I have difficulty finding staff at times! The selection in foods and the rest of the store is, as usual, plentiful and the no hassle returns is wonderful as well. I am as excited about a store as one could get, I suppose... but if the staff continue to be as kind as they have been, this will be my 'home' walmart of the future! The other positive is that the store is entirely wheelchair accessible!
