So cute! All woodsy and old school feeling. Their pasteries looked delicious. I got a chai tea and apple pie. Yummy. Sadly there was only one restroom and a long line (for the restroom). Thankfully, the men visiting know how to not urinate on the seats and surrounding floor. Feels really calming and you could just watch tourists walk about and feel like a local where you roll your eyes and think to yourself "Ugh, tourists and their garbage". Again, this was a really cute place and the Baristas were quick and really nice. And they spoke English. Helps that I took two years of French to still mispronounce "le pie du apples s'il vous plait". Lol

Stopped in here in late December after a Chic Shack burger for a coffee and something sweet with some friends and I'm glad we did. The Desserts were unbelievable, moist, tasty, just the perfect combination of that decadent yet down to earth homemade feel. Next time you are in the area stop for some dessert, I would reccomend the carrot cake if they have it.... The icing is insanely great.

We went here right after getting engaged! Although there are of course a million of these in Quebec City, this one has a particularly nice setup, space, and staff. Although I admit, they served me a bowl of matcha latte, which is much larger than matcha latte ever really needs to be served as. The place was really cozy and simple. The atmosphere was calm and they have a good variety of warm drinks. Perfect for catching up with a friend. The only downside is that it is extremely small... not a lot of tables or chairs. I don't recommend if you are planning to go there to study.

My husband and I were in Quebec City for a weekend getaway. We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and coffee and stopped by Café La Maison Smith. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, quick and efficient. I must say they have the best mochas and almond croissants! We loved it so much that we went again the next day before heading back home. I wish they had locations in Ontario especially Ottawa! I can't wait to go back as I've never had an almond croissant and mocha like I did at Cafe La Maison Smith!

One of the best place in Quebec to drink a good coffee. The Caramel latte was awesome. Food is also nice but overpriced. Not a lot of seating in winter therefore you can wait a long time before getting a table, especially if there are people that plan to read an entire book before leaving.

Based on my experience, we bought two pieces of Quiche Lorraine + 2 coffees for a lovely price of 40$+ which is way too expensive and abusive. I asked for an extra hot cappuccino and I received an in between mild and cold coffee. No place to sit and had to take out and eat outside. For this price, you can find yourself a place in a common restaurant and sit comfortably and eat a proper meal. (The only good point is the quiche who was at least tasting good but as I said, definitely doesn't worth such high price)

Cracking little local coffee chain that knows its customers, and knows how to roast and prep some very good coffee in a variety of forms. Cozy space, though you’ll be pressed to get a seat with the crush of tourists ( yours truly though scored the window seat for an hour). What sets the bar is the selection of accompanying food: spectacular desserts - cakes and pies and - because it’s Quebec and people are civilized, there’s also macarons and croque monsieurs and proper pastries. Fluently bilingual and patient friendly staff. Our morning go-to while in the old city.

This was our go-to place for coffee and hot chocolate (and a little sweet treat)! We loved getting here during the early morning hours when it wasn’t too busy.
