A nice cafe with a very local vibe. Ample seating in different configurations. The area up top is a good place for 2 people to sit in comfortable chairs. We did go at closing so the staff were rather distracted but I did thoroughly enjoy my chicken terriaky wrap. The teas are good and the coffee is priced fairly. Would probably be a place that I would go to again with an older family member.

Edit: unfortunately the place has changed hands recently. It looks like they're trying to make the place more "hip" or something. The music is too loud, the service is slow and my chai latte was $6+ of warm milk. They've raised the price of canned pop to $2.10 per can!!!?? The seating is ridiculously uncomfortable. Not enough normal tables and chairs. Instead they have mismatched ottomans with low tables. I'm very disappointed with the changes they've made. Don't waste your time and money. I really like the atmosphere but the bonus is the soy milk option. They make an great soy chai and I've heard the London fog is just as good. They have homemade pies and desserts. Two people in our group ordered the strawberry rhubarb pie and said they'd definitely order this again. The prices are high but it's centrally located in downtown Langley and a great place to meet friends. Parking is always a challenge on Fraser Hwy.

yikes, this place used to be decent. I honestly don't think training is being done properly, the drinks are horrible and the woman behind the counter seemed extremely unsure of what she was doing. They were friendly enough, but I definitely wouldn't recommend wasting money here. It was unbelievably bad.

2 bad experiences. never should have come back after the 1st. thought i would give them a second try.and yep they did the same thing as before. they have no open and close times so if your sitting outside having your coffee they come outside and tell you they are closing right now and you can't sit at there table, instead of being courteous to paying customers and let them finish there coffee, and its 4;45pm. too bad !

Nice clean and spaciaous coffee Shoppe. A small but diverse menu. The washroom is always clean and easy to get into for strollers and walking impaired guests. Ladies behind the counter always have a smile so no matter what your day feels like...it is made better just by being around the servers. Many spots where you can plug in your phone to charge or computer to work on...very tech friendly. Nice and relaxing environment

The staff was really joyful and welcoming. They made my experience different and so much more personal than a regular coffee place. The food is nice, cakes are even better. If you go there I definitely recommend you to try some cakes! I liked everything and it was hard to make a choice. Finally the coffee has a unique decor, love to go there!

I’m not sure how this place has been in business so long... Americano was like weak drip and no crema. Food was so basic and pricey. My daughter had a wrap and it was sad prison food tbh. On top of this the young girl working was not welcoming at all. She stared through us with blank eyes while we stood at counter in front of her. We stood looking at her and had to ask her if she could take our order! So oddly rude, definitely an experience unfortunately even the coffee sucked! Anyways I don’t write these reviews, but I am on the hunt for a good Americano in Langley:)

Ive tried this place a few times, but the drinks are always bland and overpriced. Recently, I ordered a small vanilla milkshake for 5.15 (super overpriced), and it was so gross I couldnt finish. It tasted like cheap vanilla syrup and was made with water and some kind of milk powder, not icecream! Was so dissapointed, how do you screw up a vanilla milkshake?? The atmosphere is pretty nice, but they dont know how to make drinks. Dont buy here.

Coffee and food are decent, price has jumped up but understandable during the last year. The addition of the retail space in the store was off-putting unfortunately. Again I understand trying to increase revenue space, but the selection didn't align very well when your expecting a coffee shop but entering a clothing retail space that takes up 80% of the space.

What happened to McBurney’s? Is it a coffee shop or a clothing store? I hadn’t been there for a long time and suggested it to a friend while shopping on One Way and were so disappointed. Our server was very pleasant but there is an almost non existent menu, my friend had the $8 grilled Swiss cheese sandwich, which she said was tasteless. No garnish just a sandwich! I remember the cafe being bustling with customers and ordering huge sandwiches that came with a choice of salad for less than $6. Yes, I understand inflation but this is a place we will not be returning to.....sadly! If it wasn’t for the server I would have give negative rating.

Do not go here! The place is a rip off. Definitely don't get one of their smoothies. I paid $5.50 for a glass of juice basically. They pour some juice in a blender and put some ice in it. it's unfortunate that this cafe is taking up such prime real estate in downtown langley: terrible customer service (no one says hello, goodbye, etc/overcharged my friend and refused to rectify it), sub-par drinks (i think they aren't being trained properly). Could use some serious cleaning in regards to the floor and dust. will not be returning.

Great coffee deserves 5 stars, BUT business hours are inconsistent. I called 5:45pm on a Thursday to confirm if they were open (door says 7:30, google says 6), the lady said yes until 6 so I made my way over right away only to find out they were closed by 5:50pm. Never have I requested for a refund on my coffee. I got a caramel macchiato and it tasted like I was drinking a cup full of syrup and got the breakfast pocket which was microwaved and cold inside. 30 dollars for a disgusting meal and the clothes inside makes it look unsettling. The person there was very nice but didn’t understand why I was returning the drink. I wish I could support local but this was just disgraceful.
