Fantastic little shop, always clean inside and friendly staff. Frequently meet my parents for coffee and a treat while they are passing through Langley. One time we accidentally stayed past closing time chatting away and the staff kindly brought over some cookies to take home instead of just kicking us out.

My friend has been telling me to check this place out for months. I finally went, and I can see why! The bakery and Cafe are adorable and inviting, and every single item looks (and tastes amazing!) I was warned to go early because they sell out of everything, and this holds true! I went at 11 am and there were items available, but the display was definitely not full. I loved everything I tried, and can not wait to pop in again.

I was feeling run down with a cold and almost gave into the call of McDonald’s all day breakfast when I remembered the Lemon Bakery was down the block. I had their signature lemon loaf and the new macaroni and cheese from their lunch menu. Perfect comfort food, everything was delicious. The service was fast and friendly (the macaroni and cheese was a new menu item and they wanted some feedback). While the space is cute, open and airy the atmosphere is a little awkward due to a lack of any background music to mask the surrounding conversations. Fix this and I think you have a hit! Note: parking is limited at this location.

Had a lovely lunch here. The home prepared soup sandwich and salad were similar to what Nona (Grandma)would have made! Eat the desserts here slowly as they ate incredible. I purchase one of each to share later at an event.

This place is really cute. Great concept but I feel its just not 'there' yet. I wish they had more vegetarian options. Leaves me at a want when j feel like something healthy. And then my only other thing is that I feel extremely awkward in there. When we come in the staff just stares at us while we decide what we want. There are many options so it can take a minute to decide, and I don't love being stared at while choosing. It makes me want to order and get out. Not sit down and enjoy the cute atmosphere. Maybe some music playing in the background would cut the awkward silence in there as well. Keep moving forward guys, you're getting there! ☺

We recently had Lemon Bakery cater our son’s wedding luncheon and were very pleased with the results. I originally broached the idea after several favourable experiences with the bakery. They provided us with an appetizing array of sandwiches, antipasti, fruits, veggies and dessert squares. Everything was delicious and artistically arranged, and we received many compliments. Trying to have a safe and meaningful wedding in the midst of a pandemic is stressful enough and Lemon Bakery helped us alleviate some of the stress.

Great food, cute desserts! Not as much to choose from as the website suggests, but I still very much enjoyed the food I ate here. Love the setup, but it didn't have the feel of somewhere I would want to spend a lot of time. Missing the cozy aspect. Still, the desserts were sublime and I will definitely need one of these salted caramel bundt cakes again. The lemon crinkle cookie was also amazing.

The turkey cranberry sandwich is beyond amazing. Just enough of each flavour without being overwhelming. We also got the roasted yam salad and it was to die for. Yams were perfectly cooked and not dry and the dressing is the perfect pairing. The only thing I would suggest is ask for the dressing on the side if you're someone who doesn't need a lot. Would highly recommend this place!

Lemon Bakery is the perfect place to satisfy your lemon dessert cravings. I love their lemon loaf! There's many lemon themed baked goods to choose from. They also offer sanwiches and soups if you're hungry. The drink menu is a bit limited if you want something special. The cafe is overall spacious and beautiful.

Staff is quick and polite. Sandwiches are perfection and made with care and fresh, tasty ingredients. So many delicious pastry options it's hard to choose. The lemon bars are a little on the sweet side, but still deliver fresh bold lemon flavor and are still the BEST I've had anywhere. The latte was wonderful as well, nicely foamy and obviously made from fresh beans. My only real complaints would be: I prefer a chocolate cake with more intense chocolately flavour, and the cinnamon buns are underwhelming (delicate in flavour which I suppose some people prefer). They are both still tasty, just not top tier level like the lemony goods and sandwiches. This is my number one pick for cafes in the Langley downtown area.

Had the cinnamon bun (frosted) and a medium Americano. The cinnamon bun was good - very rich and buttery, like a croissant. Light on the cinnamon and delicious icing (frosting). Took photos of the bun in the car (not eating indoors for obvious COVID-19 reasons) The Americano was nice, however it was a bit on the waterier side. Would like it stronger.

Over the last year living in Langley my Saturday morning routine has involved me going to this bakery and getting a slice of lemon loaf. It’s the highlight of my week. The food is great, the staff are even better. Beautiful place to spend a Saturday morning with a book and a cup of tea. Definitely worth it! Only wish they had longer hours so I could visit more often!

I decided to try this place before work because the reviews made it seem spectacular. Unfortunately, it was quite a miss. Not a big selection. I got the cinnamon bun, however the only part that reminds you of a cinnamon bun is the shape and icing. It takes like soggy French toast, emphasis on the egg. I'm pretty disappointed. I expected more flavor. If you really like eggs then maybe it will be great haha, but I like cinnamon and it was visually there, but I could hardly taste anything but egg. I didn't finish it. I haven't tried any lemon pastries so maybe that's their strong-suit. I would go back to try their lemon items, but don't recommend the cinnamon roll. Cute, quiet, staff were prompt.

Great bakery! Their coffee is pretty good and tea selection is very nice. Baked goods are great as well, especially lemon cookies. We go here every time we're in the area and would recommend to others. Only caveat is they have very short working hours (compared to coffee chains anyway).

Ordered a birthday cake for my wife which was the strawberry Sensation way to much icing on the outside and a lot on the inside between the cake layers with no fruit. Not what I expected when it was to be strawberry sensation did not taste like strawberry at all. Disappointed!!

I started getting my office birthday cakes from here and they are so beautiful. They taste wonderful too! Just today they went above and beyond. I woke up at 5am so I could get to work at 7am so that I could leave early 315pm to pick up an office cake. I left and there was so much traffic today on the Alex Fraser bridge due to one lane getting shut down halfway through so everyone on the right hand side had to merge in the other two lanes. I was snailing along and I was thinking omg I'm not going to make it. After all that, I'll have to make some time tomorrow to get it. Lemon bakery calls me to remind me that they close at 430 and I practically beg them to wait for me. Yes I was one of those ridiculous ladies. The lady on the phone was so wonderful and she told me that she would wait for me. I'm so sorry and thank you so much! The cake looks beautiful❤

Highly recommend! My Office ordered lunch from here for approx 20 people and everything was amazing. Each persons order was clearly labeled with there name and to keep things tidy due to COVID all in their own separate recyclable bags. Very impressed with all the sandwiches which were piled high with real chicken, ham or turkey meat no processed mystery meat here which was wonderful. the lemon scone and lemon bar that I tried were also delicious. I will defiantly be ordering again :)

We had lunch and the wrap was GREAT, however, so very very disappointed in the lemon treats. The lemon loaf had absolutely no flavor, the icing saved the top of it, but it was like eating a sponge. My husband threw his out. For the price, ouch!! As for the lemon cookies, way way under baked. Disappointing as I had heard such good things. Not sure if I would go again. Also the ladies in there, were rather snippy and quite miserable. Looking at their reviews I see some other customers said they are grumpy... perhaps they should hire happy people and the miserable ones stay in the back and try and perfect some lemon flavor in their baking. Try giving a smile ladies... it goes a long way!!. :(

On reommendations from our friends, we all headed to the Lemon Bakery today for lunch. WOW..what a fabulous place. The food (chicken caesar wrap, the toasted BLTC; & the toasted avacado sandwich were fantastic...then on to dessert, the lemon cookie was outstanding as was the cinnamon bun & cranberry scone.... and the coffee.....was soo good. A cozy looking place that is often busy with ladies discussing business and such. Very clean and quite friendly staff. Dropped by weekday morning but not open yet.. so went back on coffee break mid morning. The coffee is supplied by a Ft.Langley roasters (which i have had a few times from the actual roaster and really liked) so i was expecting it to be good. It wasnt. It was from a thermos... watery and i drank 1/2 before dumping the rest. Bakery items looked fantastic... but found them lacking in flavor... a lot. Overpriced experience. Disappointed. So much potential but wont be back. A good place for ambience. But definately average at best.

WOW my new favourite cafe! Great americano, Lemon loaf was best I have ever had, delicious and adorable Hallowe'en cookies! I happened to show up about 10 mins prior to opening time on the sign but the OPEN sign was out, the doors were open and the lady at the front greeted me warmly. Very nice and so beautiful inside, the display and the different treats all look like art. You cannot compete with the quality of the pastries here.

Highly recommend Lemon Bakery. Just picked up over 20 lunches for everyone at work. We emailed our list of sandwiches and desserts on Monday for pick up today.
