I came here before the management change, and they were so amazing, that when I heard about the new management I came into it with a very closed mind, thinking it couldn’t possibly be as good as the last management, but boy was I wrong. Incredible food. Awesome crepes. They are so good, I usually end up ordering two crepes! The price is very reasonable for the quality. Service is sometimes a bit slow, but usually food arrives within minutes. Every crepe comes with a small portion of fresh fruit on the side, which is awesome. Their pound cake is delicious. Incredible place. I go about once a week. I barely ever give five stars, I try to find something critical to say, but I can’t for here.

This is hands down the best hummus I've ever had. That would be 5 stars alone but add in the authenticity, the uplifting & upbeat owner, the great coffee, the delicious Panni's, and the stellar value makes this place damn near perfect. Its more of a restertaunt by western standards than a cafe so leave yourself some time to relax.

As other posters say appearances can be deceiving. Very plain restaurant on a quiet little side street. The owners are Mediterranean and bring that flair to their offerings. Do not come here if you are looking for standard bacon and eggs fare. They tend to do a lot of saviry and sweet crepes and the food is amazing and the portions are very good size. Owners are very nice and inviting. A hidden gem!

Friendly staff that helped us to decide what to order. We were very happy with their Turkish coffee, very rich and flavourful. Their hummus is a must try, my husband wanted to buy a bucket. However the mocha and walnut/coconut/strawberry crepe were disappointing. I couldn't taste the chocolate, it felt like it was water down, sorry it's not "the best in the lower mainland." The crepe itself was amazing, nice texture with real strawberries. But the brown sugar within created an odd experience. Before I realized it, I was a chewing a mouthful of sugar with shredded coconut. The "Nutella" was thinned down, not much flavour...

Visited on a whim while waiting for my car to be worked on. Very cute little cafe tucked in behind the thrift store! Very friendly staff, food was amazing and served in a timely manner despite it being extremely busy. I had the chicken basil & pesto crepe, seafood soup and latte. Everything was very tasty and extremely well priced. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Savoury Crepe was good but the odd, spicy mayo, drizzle on top could be left out. Seating is cold, & chairs uncomfortable. Turkish coffee will not be to everyone's liking. He didn't want to explain it, so if I had to explain I would say = burned, too hot, muddy coffee with maybe cardamom, cloves, star anise, and a dash of cinnamon. Milk will NOT make it better, & owner explained not to add it anyway. Owner's and staff are very sweet, but doesn't make-up for flavour & ambiance.

The service was wonderful and very helpful for a first time there. Staff are friendly and fun to talk to and make a darn fine crepe. Their breakfast and sweet crepes are the best I've ever had. Can't recommend this place enough. Agreeable prices as well.

They say the test of a breakfast restaurant is how well they cook the ????’s. For me it’s all about that thick crispy ????, and still for others it may be ????’s. Regardless of which item you may be choosiest about, everything here is prepared to absolute perfection. In my year of living in BC this is BY FAR the best basic breakfast I’ve had. The couple who own it are very kind also, great vibes. A warm (and Toasty!) environment makes eating here a wonderful experience. Add the very reasonable pricing and this place is nothing short of a must-try! I see possibly having to wait in a line going out the door in a couple of years. :)

So I had walked by this place a few times in the past but this time, after my haircut at the Salt Lane Barbershop, I decided to step in for lunch. Glad I did! I had the lentil soup and it was really fantastic. The owner was really nice and offered me a taste of their hummus and also their veggie sandwich. I ended up taking a container of hummus home with me. Will definitely be back for the soup and the veggie sandwich...might even try the crepes too. Highly recommended for a quick, wholesome, and very tasty lunch.

Wow what a lovely surprise. Found this hidden gem around the corner from the main street in downtown Langley. What a treat. Breakfast all day, delicious real apple filling in my caramelized apple crepe and the tastiest decaf iced latte I've ever had. The chicken basil pesto crepe we ordered was also sublime. My husband and I went to Langley from downtown Vancouver for an exploration and we came about this hidden gem. We ordered the seafood chowder and the chicken, basil and pesto crepe. The food is so tasty, you can really taste each flavour and the sea from that seafood soup. I gobbled that seafood soup so fast lol. While I savour the taste of that yummy crepe. You can clearly see that the ingredients they used are fresh and crisp. The ambiance of the place is simple with a slight touch of elegance. I highly recommend this place for sure. I can’t wait to bring my mom here for our mom and daughter time as well as my friends who are foodie themselves.

What a great find! We have lived in Langley over a year now and we only just discovered this place. Really wish we had found it sooner. The owner is so friendly and passionate. You can really tell that he cares about his customers and the food. We tried the strawberry chocolate crepe, delicious! The hummas was easily the best I have ever tried, don't leave without trying it!

Best cafe experience I've had in ages! Tali (sp?!), the owner, is engaging, funny and enthusiastic. He encouraged us to taste before ordering, and offered us options that weren't on the menu. Just found a wonderful little cafe on Salt Lane in downtown Langley, called the Hot and Toasty Cafe. I tried the bacon, egg and cheese panini and it more than surpassed my expectations. The panini was delicious, crammed full of egg, cheese and a generous portion of bacon. My wife had the chicken noodle soup and she found it to be very tasty and wholesome. The cafe is clean and spacious and the couple operating it were very friendly. Overall, it was a very pleasant treat.

This is my 2nd time in eating here with my friend at the Hot and Toasty Cafe, which is just behind the one way strip on Fraser hwy in Langley, B.C. Their food here is outstanding, the taste of their food is fresh just like it was picked fresh from the garden, and their presentation of your food orders are spectacular, and each order you get here is made with alot of love, alot of care, and alot of attention to detail as well. I always order their all day breakfast for only $7.00 each, it includes 2 eggs, just the way you like them done, and cubed potatoes, toast, fresh fruit served on a long decorative toothpick, and you also get a fresh salad, with balsamic vinegar as a dressing, and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Their coffee is Fantastic, and Fresh, and Hot, and Delicious with every mouthful too. I have included pictures of this Wonderful restaurant in my review here as well. I have also taken a couple of pictures of the Beautiful couple that own this amazing restaurant. They have been in business here for 1 year and 8 months, and the crowds of people continue to come in for their favorite food cravings, and they are very happy to be here while having their favorite meals that fill their hungry appetites. I have also taken pictures of both the inside of this restaurant, as well as the outside of this restaurant, in order to show you how quaint this perfect little gem of a restaurant really is. So, get in your car, and stop in and treat yourself to the Best meal you've ever had, You'll be glad you did. And you'll save a fortune of money, because it's not expensive to eat here at all, their menu items are very affordable for everyone in your family, and in your circle of friends too. What a welcome surprise! We stumbled across this while walking around downtown Langley and is sure to be added to our list of regular cafe's. We were greeted by warm friendly hospitality and it's clear they're passionate about good food and service. My wife and I shared a savory (chicken pesto) and sweet (walnut, coconut, and strawberry) crepe. Both were super fresh and super tasty. Coffee was great too. Sounds like Sundays are busy so book ahead those days otherwise you should be fine. Wish more businesses ran like this.

Took my nana here to try something new and this place is a hidden GEM! The owner is so friendly and you can tell he loves what he is doing. The food is just amazing!! When we sat down he warned us that it would be about 20-25 mins until we could get our food because it was so busy (and he cooks everything home made), I was hesitant to stay but I'm sooo glad I did! I went here to have some brunch! Pretty good place. Servers were very welcoming and accommodating. I had the cheese BLT (cheese with bacon and grilled, that’s about it) with chicken soup. It was mediocre but I would definitely try their crepes as it looks really yummy. Overall, the staff were awesome & the atmosphere is cozy & relaxing! Must check it out!!

Super friendly staff! The location is not very cute but the staff are great. Located just off of Salt Lane. The crepes are stuffed with a generous serving of fruits. I would definitely recommend that over one of the paninis they offer. I went here for the first time today after a recommendation from a friend. I used the website for putting in my order, and that alone was a very positive experience! The menu is awesome, and the process for placing an order was very smooth and uncomplicated. The order was ready right on time, packaged nicely, and the staff who served me were warm and efficient. And of course, the food was delicious! Hot and Toasty has made a new regular out of me!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Went with a friend and sat at a small table. He (the owner?) came and, speaking very loudly and abruptly told us we looked uncomfortable and we could move to a bigger table but if more people came in we would have to move back to the smaller table. It was really awkward and we told him we would stay where we were. While ordering we asked if the crepe came with fruit on the side- he looked at us like we were stupid and pointed at a poster in the window and said “thats how it comes”. He could have easily said no and/or asked if we would like fruit on the side for an extra charge. While ordering we asked for water but he was already walking away and water never came. My friend went and asked at the counter for water and a kid brought one for her at which point she asked for one for me too (Im 7 months pregnant). The whole experience was stressful and extremely uncomfortable. I felt like we were a major inconvenience and althought the creoe was tasty it definitely wasnt worth $11. Will not be going back.

Before you come here you need to know that this isn't your typical breakfast restaurant. They only do crepes and Paninis. That being said the crepes are excellent. This was our first time here and we will come back.

We came from Edmonton to Langley for a week, and we looked for a good café. We ordered matcha and mocha pound cake, cheesecake, vegie chicken soup, egg turkey & cheese panini, and chicken pesto panini. Literally, all of them were soooooooooooooo good and comes with so much portion that I had to pack up half of my dish. The price was so generous and the staff were so polite and knowledgeable. I would have visited this place often if I had knew it sooner, but definitely one of the best café in Langley. Thank you for the great service and delicious food!

I Absolutely Love This Wonderful Little Restaurant On Salt Lane, In Langley, B.C. And you will fall in love with this place too. This is my 2nd time in eating here with my friend at the Hot and Toasty Cafe, which is just behind the one way strip on Fraser hwy in Langley, B.C. Their food here is outstanding, the taste of their food is fresh just like it was picked fresh from the garden, and their presentation of your food orders are spectacular, and each order you get here is made with alot of love, alot of care, and alot of attention to detail as well. I always order their all day breakfast for only $7.00 each, it includes 2 eggs, just the way you like them done, and cubed potatoes, toast, fresh fruit served on a long decorative toothpick, and you also get a fresh salad, with balsamic vinegar as a dressing, and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Their coffee is Fantastic, and Fresh, and Hot, and Delicious with every mouthful too. I have included pictures of this Wonderful restaurant in my review here as well. I have also taken a couple of pictures of the Beautiful couple that own this amazing restaurant. They have been in business here for 1 year and 8 months, and the crowds of people continue to come in for their favorite food cravings, and they are very happy to be here while having their favorite meals that fill their hungry appetites. I have also taken pictures of both the inside of this restaurant, as well as the outside of this restaurant, in order to show you how quaint this perfect little gem of a restaurant really is. So, get in your car, and stop in and treat yourself to the Best meal you've ever had, You'll be glad you did. And you'll save a fortune of money, because it's not expensive to eat here at all, their menu items are very affordable for everyone in your family, and in your circle of friends too. We stopped by while viewing apartments in the area and had a hot chocolate and hummus panini. The guy running the place was so friendly and was able to make the panini dairy free (for an allergy) and had lots of vegetarian options. The food was so good! And their hummus was great. While we were eating the guy brought around free samples of a different vegetarian sandwich (garden blend or something) and it was amazing! We will be making this a regular spot and you should too!

Well, THAT was fabulous! While the Hot & Toasty Cafe has a rather unassuming presence on a little side street in the old part of Langley, the breakfast far exceeded my expectations. This wasn't your typical "bacon and eggs" type of fare. Truly, I don't think I've ever had anything like it. It looked like an omelette, but it was actually a super thin crepe filled with ham, eggs, and cheese. The top was drizzled in a slightly spicy sauce (chipotle mayo??). It was very different and very delicious. Definitely worth a try if you'd like to experience something new.
