Have been a customer since Thomas first open Tommy's. Service is always good and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Food is great and some of it, is very inventive, yet wonderfully tasteful. A must try in Kingston.

Travy is AMAZING so considerate and takes care of his guests properly. Zach also great, nice butt. Tommys is 12/10 will definitely be back.new bouncer is pretty rude though, told us he was at cap and let 2 girls in that showed up after us.

The service is slow. Prepare to wait 30 mins to be seated, and another 20 for the food to be prepared. The food was okay. Overall not recommended.

Poor service: very long wait for someone to come to greet us at the table and ask us what we want to drink despite the fact that they saw us come in, long wait for ordering, long wait for getting her attention to have more hot water for tea, long wait to pay, unprofessional attitude (superficial, bad looks when I asked for a clean cup that I was buying, lol unbelievable). My friend ordered some gravy with her fries but didn't get it and when she told the waitress that brought the plates (not the same waitress) about it she reacted in a sarcastic way. I asked what the fruits were on my pancakes but she didn't mention there was blackberries when I said I don't like blackberries. The table next to us were greeted right away and were served their drinks quickly but just for the waitress never to return for their order!! Lol Just like us. All that when there is just a few tables and lots of staff. Not friendly, just superficial and snobby. Just poor service. Not going back. I really wish waiters/waitresses that act this way would experience the displeasing of being served badly/neglecfully so they get a taste their own medecine. The time we spend out for enjoying a meal, and paying for is precious and should be given more respect to people. P.s. I just read the reviews and it seems like a recurring theme to ignore or neglect some clients. Weird. Either there is a rotten apple in the team or it's a snobby trend. Not good practice. P.s.s obnoxious response from management. Now it's clear what's going on. And also their peameal bacon tasted off and, if you are going to sell me a used, coffee stained cup, even at $5, I'd like to know it's a used cup. Unprofessional ethics this restaurant.

Love the ambience this place has. Food is really good and everyone who works here is so kind. I will say they tend to be understaffed so it can take a while to get your servers attention, but i totally get that this happens. Came here to get food on my birthday and was not disappointed. Also they are open super late and offer all day breakfast :)

A friend and I went to Tommy's after hearing good reviews of the food at about 9:30 pm on Sunday evening. We went to the bar first to order drinks then sat at the window patio table and watched guests try out Karaoke. Not one server approached us in the hour that we were there. We knew the bouncer and he rushed in to let a server know we had been neglected, he came back and said she would be right out.... nothing. After 30 minutes we finally jumped in front of one of the three that made rounds outside and asked for menu's. She said sure and never came back. Not one of these three servers so much as glanced our way but continuously brought all the other tables several rounds of drinks and pitchers. After an hour we gave up and left, while the bouncer deeply apologized it was quite an upsetting experience. We were paying customers that were completely ignored. While I can respect that it was busy, there were plenty of empty tables and no line ups... As a former server myself the rule was 30 seconds to greet new guests... but an hour with no acknowledgment? I've never felt more unwanted. Much like the customer that left a review the same weekend, we too had to go down to McDonald's for our dinner. Very disappointed with the service.

Tommy's is the perfect place for any occasion. Your wife is having a baby, you go to Tommy's first for a celebratory drink. You got that new job you always wanted, you go to Tommy's to celebrate. You ask your girlfriend where she wants to eat and she says: "I don't know". You take her to Tommy's and she'll never stop talking about how awesome the food and service was. In other words, if you're looking for a place to enjoy some food and drinks in a family friendly environment then Tommy's should be your #1 option because you'll always find excellent food, beverages and friends in there!

Terrific ambiance. Diner style with great music and signage around the restaurant. Breakfast was incredible. My sister had blueberry pancakes with crispy bacon. My niece had heuves rancheros..a first for her and this teenage foodie enjoyed it. Ordered the chocolate chip banana bread french toast with sausage. It was delicious. I would love to get back there to try the lunch/dinner items.

Best brunch in town! First time visiting Kingston and ordered spinach and feta omelette. Very fluffy with freshly cracked pepper. Baby pancakes with blueberry were amazing! House potatoes were light and nicely fried. Got treated to an amazingly tasty little piece of their banana bread. Generous portion, wonderful meal overall. If visiting the city again will be back for sure!

Not only is this my favourite place to go, it has been since it opened. Love the atmosphere, the staff and most of the people that go there. Lol. It's become a staple to locals and university students alike.. the generations of students that will likely visit and reminisce just for Tommy's alone is going to be very high. The charity work Thomas does is tireless and he wouldn't have it any other way. What's not to love!!! 10 stars not just 5.

This little Classic Dinner has a beautiful atmosphere and extremely kind and friendly staff. And the coffee has to be the best I have ever gotten in a restaurant (even better than Starbucks) the coffee was so smooth and delicious that it can be enjoyed black. We got the Meat Lovers which was a generous portion and all looked and tasted amazing, as well as the French Toast with berries and sausage; the sausages are better than your average dinner and the French toast and fruit were extremely tasty. Only negative is the portion size for the French Toast was little on the smaller side. I would recommend it coming with home fries or something with the sausage as well.

I've always wanted to go here when passing by and seeing the cool old-style diner aesthetic, and it really delivers on the ambience. They even play a lot of classic rock. There's a bar, sit-down booths and take out options as well. As for the food, there are a ton of options- lots that are great for brunch (all day breakfast), burgers, poutine options, and much more. It's all priced very reasonably for a student budget (~<$15), quite fair and very good. It's also open until like 2:30am which is great.

Tommy's is the breakfast bomb, if you're in Kingston and looking for all day breakfast definitely check this place out! So cool classic diner atmosphere, with punk and rock music to boot. Waitresses were friendly and helpful, food was delicious, and the drinks were on point. One of my favorites in Kingston located right in the downtown area. Superb job Tommy's!

Tommy’s is a decent place. I’m not really the target market for Tommy’s (age, lifestyle etc) so I don’t go there often, but I do like to stop in on the patio a few times in the summer days. My daughter has loved their fries for years. I stopped in a couple weeks ago (to support local) and ordered lattice sweet potato munchies and a garden salad. The portions were very large which is nice since those were my only vegan options. (Note: if you are vegetarian, there are a few additional options. If you are vegan, the salad and fries are satisfying as a meal). PS. I love the music at Tommy’s.

Place looked very clean, Serving staff was nice and friendly, drinks were cheap, friendly bar crowd. Great Diner Decor as well. All the old bar sign lights gave a great nastalgic feeling. (especially the rad special edition skateboards everywhere) I didn't try the food but I was told it's very good. I'll have to try it next time. Overall great experience.

Food is great but I don’t think it’s ethical to lie to your customers in line just to keep them from leaving. Don’t say the table is being cleaned if they still have to wait another 45minutes. Secondly, you served a bigger group who arrived 30minutes later than us because the available table is for 6 and there’s only 3 of us? There’s literally 3 groups ahead of them. What’s the point of the lining up?

Nice 60s dinner. Benefit of being open late, and for 24hrs on the weekend. 60s style arrangement with stools, tables, and booths. Burger was well done and the 1/2 pound if beef was difficult to finish. Fries served as a good side. Would recommend if you were hungry at unusual times of the night.

7$ cocktails that are heaven on earth. Try the purple rain! My husband had 3 of them. Blue eyed blonde, purple rain, and melted crayon. Said he wants to go back just for the drinks. This is what he ordered to eat. Million dollar burger. Bottom is a burger with a fried egg, middle is a grilled cheese, top is a BLT. Look at that stack ;)

This is a Kingston downtown classic spot. Food is great while providing a unique aesthetic to enjoy it around. They have special nights for different deals like a wings night (I'm vegetarian so idk how good it is) and the deals are over all really good. Give em a call to find out what days what deal. We were in Tommy’s on a weekday around 9 am and just in time before the rush started, had we been even a minute late then the wait would have been atleast 20 minutes outside. The food and service was great. Baby cakes meant pancakes, that was news to me. Great portions too. Ordered a breakfast quesadilla and meat lover’s breakfast.

Waiting outside for 20 minutes… half of the tables indoors and outdoors were empty. no host or server came to give a courtesy excuse or estimate of wait time… waste of time. Had to leave. Reply to owner: yeah, I don’t buy that. As I noted above a “courtesy excuse” is all it takes to meet a basic level of customer service. I say that because a waiter on the patio spent a long time chatting with two women who he knew by name (friends or colleagues) and who he bantered with for several minutes unrelated to their orders while ignoring the other people waiting who he could have been giving courtesy excuses to. So being short staffed is not an excuse. It’s a cop out. Even just arguing with me right now means you don’t understand customer service.

I own my own little small take out restaurant in Lansdowne so I work everyday except Sunday. I finally decided to try your place Tommy. I took my family there for breakfast one Sunday. I have to say that I am hooked on your food. Every Sunday after that I have to go for breakfast there. Your food is amazing and your staff are the best. I miss my Sunday out. Tommy's is such a great place for breakfast. Pictured here are the eggs Benedict (the side of pancakes is included) and the "Captain's Panwich". I love that these massive pancakes are considered a side, but of course you can still pick home fries or beans as the side. Staff are always super quick and friendly. My mom really likes the oldies music. I'm really pleased that there are QR codes for contact tracing and the menu now, in the Covid era. Tables are spaced apart or separated by metal sheets for Covid distancing. Came here regularly before the quarantine, and will continue coming back even now.

Been here a few times, this was my first time sober though. The food is well priced and they have some really creative dishes. The server was nice and the restaurant itself was clean.The music was super loud though and I didn't really get the theme, they should work on their play list. Overall it was a really good meal in a very retro designed diner.

Out of towners looking for a family diner came for breakfast. My husband suggests a 2.8. I am suggesting a 3.5. Had the spinach omelet. I would take a .5 off for the home fries. A little over done. And a .2 for not enough spinach in the omelet. However my husband likes Frank's on his omelet and for 2oz it was an additional 50 cents. Isn't Frank's considered a condiment?

It was ok. With everything going on due to covid it took a bit to get our food but not outrageous and they were up front about the wait. The food was good, although my son wanted to order 1 item but couldn't because they didn't have 1 of the ingredients. I found the table a bit low (tall person) but ok. I liked the music being played. The staff was very friendly. Courtney did a great job. Since it is downtown it might be a good idea to train the staff to be more knowledgeable about the goings on in Kingston, there may be a customer who needs ideas of what to do.

We came in on Feb 12th Friday afternoon! First time coming to Tommy’s. The menu has lots of variety, serving all types of food from breakfast, burgers, steak, to pub fare and various entrees. The only downside was that it was a long wait for food, but service was great. If you’re not in a rush and looking for a cozy meal, come to Tommy’s!

Been to Tommy's 3 times. Was always great before. Went out for a celebration and the pancakes had no flavour and the hashbrowns had no flavour. Not even salt. Was pretty dissapointed. 2 of us split 2 meals. Luckily he didn't mind eating the bland meal I had so I could eat something with flavour. Also ordered the egg on my panwhich to be a sunny side up fried egg and make sure runny - only way I'll eat it. Came Sunnyside up fully cooked. Not sure if ill come back.

The "check-in" procedure is a bit off. This may be a norm in this area but it does not make people feel welcome at all. We had to ask for a new table as we didn't want to have our meal with a hornet inside the restaurant. The new table was smaller and cramped when full size tables were available. It was difficult to understand the server as they did not speak clearly and with a mask on it was very muffled. The server who brought the food over and the bill did speak clearly and was more outgoing as well. The food was good, I quite enjoyed the baby cakes.

Visiting queens for a weekend with the boys? Tommy's is the place to go to get a great breakfest and I would say a must for a real queens experience. The customers are mainly university students, as one would expect in the heart of student residences. The food is satisfying, filling and they have decent portion sizes. Service is quick and wait time for food is about 20 minutes. It does fill up fast mid-morning, so if recommend getting there early to minimize the wait.

Really cool theme, good food, really really nice staff. The server let us pick a spot according to our needs (quiet, hot, sunny, etc) but warned us because of COVID19 we would not be allowed to switch spots after selection. I appreciated that they stay us comfortably but maintained a focus on customer safety. Also, there were other considerable COVID19 safety measures in place and I felt comfortable. Totally recommended if living or visiting K-town. The servers are chill and friendly - way above industry standards - with the atmosphere being a mix of vintage and contemporary. The food I got was pretty dam good and it was just omelets! Definitely hitting up the other menu items. Not surprised that it's bustling busy on Saturday/Sunday mornings for their breakfast/brunch specials. Highly recommend the T to the O to the M to the M to the Y's # Tommy's

Honestly the food is okay. If you order via an app you can expect soggy fries and a nice moist bun. More importantly, you could order and wait for an hour just to have them cancel on you. Hopefully better experiences in person. For now though, I will not be ordering again. Hopefully you have better luck.

Good service and diner fare. Went in because of local reviews but nothing so spectacular that I would go out of my way to go back. They do have some good almost vegetarian offerings, but a little limited for vegans as egg is in the batters so even something as simple as onion rings was actually a no go. Tried the beyond meat burger and was served onion rings as part of the plate. Good thing I'm not vegetarian, but disappointed the dish wasn't really thought out for those that would seek it out.

Although it may fade into the row of shops, it’s worth stopping in. Me and my friend ordered “the captains panwich” and the “fried flower power” to share. It was incredibly delicious as each element complimented one another. The pancakes instead of bread was a much better option and made for a more enjoyable meal. Would definitely come back again! TLDR: Awesome food at a reasonable price, horrendously understaffed. My experience with this dinner started poorly with a unconventional covid vetting system that requires you to stand outside (wouldn't be an issue in the warmer months, but in the winter with a to be mentioned short staffing issue makes this a very unpleasant experience). After the awkward and uncomfortable vetting system my partner and I were sat at a table that had either too tall of seats, or too short a table (if managment is reading this and cares to know the table in question, its the booth at the front of store closest the "Meet" reastraunt next door). We were then served by a clearly tired and overwhelmed server (whom I beleive was named "Meg"), however even though she was the ONLY SERVER on shift (as far as I could tell, so to my knowledge she was tasked with greeting paterons/aiding in the covid vetting, seating paterons, taking orders, collecting and distributing both dine-in and take-out meals, handling the billing of paterons, cleaning and sanitizing tables for the next paterons, and likely answering/managing the phone/online ordering system... By herself pressumbly.) not including the SINGLE Cook (again, that I personally saw), even with all that bore in mind she still managed to be kind and patient throughout our visit, I cannot aplaud her enough. When we received our meal we were treated to good sized portions, and though I may not be a foodie I was very impressed by the quality of the meal, I cannot reccomend the food enough, however given the staffing situation, I'd advise takeout . I hope the staff that worked todays shift (January-1-2022 est. 19:00) are proud of themselves for delivering a great experience given the circumstances, and I certainly hope these staff are duly compensated for the skill's and profesinalism. In closing, I hope this doesn't come across as a attack on either employee's or managment, I understand that it can be hard to find employee's at the momment, and that it was a holiday as well, but I feel if managment find themselves in that situation again, I advise shutting down dine-in and only doing take out, and for dine-in insure that one of the servers are told their priority task is greet and aid the paterons through the covid vetting process. We intend to return to Tommy's in the future in hopes of having the wonderful food again, and hopefully a more fluid experince with checking in with more staff. P.s. Please fix that table, a couple of times I nearly upset the contents of the table just trying to get up or adjusting in my seat.

Food was amazing (I absolutely recommend the drunken trigger, it was AMAZING) and our server was very good. Unfortunately the timing for our food to come out was ridiculous. We waited 1.5 hours from the time we sat down to the time our food came. There was a line at the door and everybody was being seated before the tables that were already sitting hadn't even gotten their orders in. I think they were understaffed and the waitress we had was trying her best and we enjoyed her service. But they need to manage their priorities better to serve the customers they have in the restaurant before any delivery services.

Literally every element of Tommy’s is a 5-star experience. From the second we were greeted by the owner himself - yes, Tommy - the tone and atmosphere was set. The interior decor is perfectly matched in period with the great classic tunes being piped in, but not overwhelmingly. The food…. The portions…. The flavour…. Perfect. Why and how is this possible and likely? When you watch the energy, enthusiasm, passion, and positivity exuded by Tommy…. the first guy with a cloth and a bottle of cleaning solution in hand, shining tables and chairs, preparing to welcome the next guests, it’s no surprise that his friendly and efficient staff are equally inspired to follow suit. Tommy, himself….. a very happy and hard working fellow who, I’m told, is a fixture in the community; a give-back kind of guy. This is exactly the type of place I am glad to support. The best part? It seems the community is way ahead of me. They love it!

The breakfasts have always been decent (although I suspect their pancakes are from a mix). However, I was very disappointing with the burger I had. After the first rude encounter with staff members we gave them the benefit of the doubt (passive aggressive comments towards one of the members at our table repeatedly). We always cut them slack as well for the 20-30 minute wait time to be seated as well - understanding there is a "labour shortage" as the owner put it in a response to someone who left a review here with a very similar experience. It is when these events are recurring almost every-time we have went that we decided that this place, that was once a regular stop that we brought everyone we knew to, was no longer an acceptable place to eat. It is a game of roulette of whether the staff will treat us with kindness or unwarranted disrespect. Today after waiting in the sun for 20 minutes the server came out and attended to a group that arrived after us and seated them right away. It is an honest mistake though and we didn't bother to even mention it. After another 15 minutes, the heat began to get to the group and so we took 2 steps forward to stand under the umbrella. When the server came out - not only did he walk by without acknowledging us but he chose a group that he knew was behind in line once again. After being told even by that group that we had been waiting for significantly longer he told us that because we stood under the umbrella that violated the line and he would be seating the group that came more recently first for that reason. If the problem was truly related to waiting in a specific way the onus is on the restaurant to manage the process of waiting, ensuring there is a way (or even employee tasked to keep track of where you can stand). A single nebulous message on a sign saying "wait to be seated" is not enough to warrant such strict and extreme response. You would think a "please stand here next time" would be enough but instead ignoring the entire group and aggressively suggesting that they should have read the sign after they have been waiting outside for nearly 40 minutes? This simply indicates that the staff have no empathy or care at all about their customers. It's a shame because we loved this place and have turned so many blind eyes to bad encounters because of the good experiences in the past. But recurring bad experiences are too much to overlook. I hope the management takes this seriously, we have heard other bad things recently going around about this place and our own bad experiences have changed our look on Tommy's. Will not be returning again.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. My friend and I went on Sunday March 24 at around 9:45AM. We waited 20 minutes at the door to be seated. No one greeted us or spoke to us. No one made even made eye-contact with us until 15 minutes into waiting. The manager even walked by twice! We tried to get their attention, but no one would acknowledge us. There was a small line forming behind us, but two groups went in ahead of us and sat themselves at the bar. They were given menus and served even though they arrived after us. Waiting on a busy morning isn't an issue - but the lack of communication is completely unacceptable. We felt invisible and disregarded. My friend and I left to get brunch elsewhere. I would give 0/5 if I could.

Our waiter didn't see us for the first ten minutes then we waited another 15 for her to bring the drinks (pop and a water). Ilthe hamburger meat in my burger tasted off, but the fries were fine. My wife was enjoying her club sandwich, but stopped when she found multiple hairs between the slices. The cooks had no hair nets and had their sleeves rolled up exposing their hairy arms. We were then waiting to check out at the counter for literally 5 minutes. Other waiting staff were there, but said that our waiter should be back. Bad service and frustrating experience.

Having spent over four years at Queen's University, one can feel like they've experienced everything that Kingston had to offer. From busting it down with the boys at the local nightclubs to showing off my post-prime athleticism for the beautiful ladies at Gord Downie Pier (to no avail), I've pretty much tried it all. That is until I decided to walk into Tommy's for the first time. It's not that I never knew it existed -- in fact -- it's really quite difficult to miss the front sign's unmistakable neon glow in passing. But despite its warm and welcoming pull, I guess the inner Chad in me thought I could just keep on getting by on Buds and McPicks. Fortunately, exams and early-stage cirrhosis can really put things into perspective! I finally realized that the college diet was simply unsustainable, and I needed a change. So on the day before my final test, I took a break from my daily Buzzfeed quiz attempts to scroll through my social media feeds with one goal in mind: to find the most succulent set of meals and give them a try. Luckily for me, renowned campus foodie, @passthekimchi, had just recently promoted her interview with the owner of Tommy's himself (his name is Tommy). Apparently he had this really cool charity Christmas dinner coming up, and Lord knows I needed a holiday miracle for the big day tomorrow, so, naturally, I planned to start my morning there. Thus began the best decision I've made in university since I attached straps to my AirPods. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by the gentle aroma of freshly-fried bacon. While this had put me in a near-comatose euphoric state, I can vaguely remember following that scent like a cartoon character does pie (until a server told me I couldn't enter the kitchen, but was kind enough to seat me at the bar seat closest to the window before taking my drink order). From there, I was able to get a good glance at the rest of the establishment's interior, and it's safe to say I was more than impressed. Classic rock'n'punk memorabilia coated the walls to create a vintage vibe that would have put the Hard Rock Cafe to shame. This was further emphasized by the restaurant's background music, which sounded like it was made by every cool dad at every family BBQ ever. At the table behind me sat the most adorable mum and daughter drawing together on the restaurant's complimentary colouring page. You should have seen how much fun this kid was having while they waited for their food; she pretty much had a giggle akin to that of any protagonist on Disney+. And it was at this moment that I realized this was truly a family-friendly environment (despite what other unelaborated reviews may say). Anyway, within minutes, my server returned with the iced-coffee I asked for -- chilled with a perfect hint of french vanilla. And I was already famished with all the crispy pig particles that had infiltrated my nostrils by this point, so you already know I was quick to order. The rest, as they say, was History 101. I'll let the food speak for itself in the images below, but I'll most certainly be back for more (and likely a fifth year).

Excellent food and service! My husband and I want to thank the staff as well for their help when he suffered a mild medical emergency while enjoying our breakfast there yesterday. The staff were professional and prompt in getting him medical attention and were knowledgeable in first aid training to keep him stable until the paramedics arrived. We are thankful he is much better today and so appreciative of your wonderful staff! We will be back again to enjoy another (hopefully uneventful) meal!

HOWEVER there's 2 issues I have with this place. 1) the lack of baby change tables at a restaurant that serves kids, my sister in-law was forced to change her daughter's diaper/clothes in a tiny, cramped room with no table. 2) having to listen to Queens students yelling profanities and in general being abnoxious as humanly possible... At 5pm, right around when most families eat dinner TL;DR: Don't go here if you have kids. NOT a family friendly restaurant, despite any claims they may make

Our server was fantastic. My wife has food allergies and our server made sure there were no conflicts. The atmosphere was hip, music was great, my budget was average. Tasted more like a meatloaf sandwich, which would be ok if that's what I ordered.

Been here a few times, this was my first time sober though. The food is well priced and they have some really creative dishes. The server was nice and the restaurant itself was clean. The music was super loud though and I didn't really get the theme, they should work on their play list. Overall it was a really good meal in a very retro designed diner.

Service was very slow. Although we were a bigger group and were told it may be a bit slower to serve us, we saw 3-4 tables that came in after, sat, got served, paid and left before we even had food. Diner style food should be quick and simple. Our short brunch turned into a 2 hour experience with most of it spent waiting for the food. Once we got the food, we weren't impressed either. Most things were ok. However the poached eggs were essentially hard boiled and overcooked. This is likely from sitting on the pass for too long as we could see the dishes sitting under the heat lamp for 5+ minutes.

This is one of my favorite dine-in spots in Kingston but I had a Terrible takeout experience and now I must complain. They charged me an outrageous 10$ for a very smol ceaser salad, served my chums sandwich without the fries he was promised, and served refrigerator-temp mozzarella sticks which were wholly inedible. This restaurant is run by disgusting baby-eating goblins and treacherous animals.

Would not recommend to others. Dinner I ordered was fairly over priced, and was not worth the extra money. The fries, deep fried ravioli and onion rings all tasted like they had been under cooked. Not to mention you only got 8 raviolis for 12 dollars or the onion rings that cost an extra 6 dollars for 6 onion rings.

I was at this restaurant having breakfast, everything was good. I’m gonna avoid going to this restaurant because of the way they treat their delivery drivers, I could totally feel how mean these girls were to the drivers. I was also a delivery delivery once, so I know how it feels. The girl said to the driver that it’s only gonna be 2 minutes for your order, but it was more than 15. So why not just tell the truth. There’s more to this story that I’m not explaining. This isn’t even a big fancy restaurant and still they keep this mean attitude.

Fun diner and good wings on Wednesdays. Fun pictures and decorations on the walls. A nice aesthetic on the floor with an old-fashioned white and black tile. Retro booths, tables, and high tables to eat at. I recommend getting the Fuzzy Pickle Burger as well. A good experience overall. The restaurant stays open late at night for drinks and post-bar snacks. A good location and close to the other bars. Owner is a nice guy too.

Great atmosphere, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Tommy himself is often present and can be found in a variety of positions throughout the restaurant. When an owner takes responsibility and initiative in assisting his staff you know that's a positive sign! Creative specialty drinks and delicious pub style foods. All while you're surrounded by a fusion of retro diner, motorcycle and punk rock culture. Worth every second to visit.

This was our first visit to Tommy's, and we were not disappointed! Because of Covid we sat outside on their patio. Our server was excellent. I'm sorry I don't recall his name, but he was very attentive, personable and professional. We had variations on their Eggs Benedict, which were very good. Their coffee, while not Starbucks, was very good. Not your usual restaurant type coffee. As I said this was our first visit, but I would not hesitate to recommend Tommy's and visit them again. Great place!

What a great place to bring the family! There was a wonderful selection of meal options for all of our tastes. Fish fried in a batter of literal crushed potato chips is brilliant, but mine was more a blackened shell than anything. Don’t let the outside of the restaurant sway you away…If you want an excellent breakfast with excellent service then stoping at the restaurant is what you must do. We stopped in Kingston this morning and didn’t know where to go and Tommy’s was in the top 10 best restaurants so we went for it and oh boy, let me tell you, they did not disappoint one bit! Katie our waitress was an absolute gem. Clean, great oldies music, nicely decorated, affordable and the food was perfectly cooked as we requested. OH and the hollandaise sauce was absolute perfection and sooo good. It is definitely on my favourite list, hands down. You won’t regret it.

Ordered takeout from Tommy's last night to support local. Faith took our order and was very kind and efficient, Michela delivered our food faster then expected and it was delicious! Nachos, wings, perogies and deep fried ravioli and a bingo card to play boozy bingo on Sunday night! I highly recommend all the above. The team all wore appropriate PPE and social distancing. Came here on a Saturday morning while visiting the Kingston area this summer. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. Prices were completely reasonable and large portions. Restaurant is cute and cozy with a retro/oldies diner feel. They had trivial pursuit cards to play with at the tables, which was fun and made time fly by while waiting for our food. Free street parking Saturday mornings right in front of the restaurant.

Extremely disappointed. I'm a tourist and went to your establishment based on the good reviews. We waited nearly ten minutes before we were asked if we wanted drinks. Cool but not great. Get the coffee. After this the server never returned. Sat for nearly 20 minutes with no sign of life from staff. Threw a five on the table for the coffee and left. On to McDonald's I went. I had plans and waiting an hour for some breakfast wasn't gonna work.
