Love this place. Great homecooked food in a downtoen location.

Wesley Weima

Great food and amazing staff, but unfortunately there is no credit/debit tip option which is a really awful thing for an employer to do to their staff bringing this experience from a 5 to a 2.

My first visit was amazing. Purchased a sandwich and a very nice size (large) ice cream sandwich. The ice cream sandwich was only $4.79. However. My most recent visit is another story. I was so impressed with the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, I ordered one this visit. I was quite shocked and disappointed. They reduced the sandwich to a third of its size. Very minimal ice cream. The price was reduced $0.79. They explained to me that people complained it was too large so they made them smaller. Well, I'm complaining now. Will you make them bigger? Here is an idea, make both sizes. Bottom line, I suggest going to the opposite end of the block to Circle K and purchase a Klonike ice cream sandwich. They are a few cents cheap yet larger.

We live upstairs and we were regular costumers since the moment they opened. The management and employees were amazing back then and we used to go everyday. In the last month I had a couple of very bad experiences but I kept giving them another chance but today was enough. I was servered a pipping hot latte (I’m not exaggerating - after 20m it was still undrinkable). When I was leaving,I approached the person who made the coffee and told him about this fact and maybe that they should be more careful next time because costumers could get their mouth burnt with a coffee served like that. Far from accepting the criticism this person laughed at me. Surreal situation. They should hire great professionals again and not those who lack the minimum customer and professional skills. I will honestly never come back to this place.

The grocery basket is one of the best breakfast places in Kingston. I ordered a coffee and a roast beef sandwich. The cheese melted in my mouth, and the roasted beef was on another level.
