I absolutely loved this place! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the friendly lady behind the counter. This place has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was amazing and the staff are so friendly. I just moved back to Kingston from Toronto and am happy to say I found my new favorite place!

Don't eat here. Serving staff are very, very good (that's who earned those two stars) but management is fake nice. The food is barely passable diner style - the bacon is the worst I've ever had. If you want a better no-frills breakfast downtown in Kingston, try Cafe Matin a couple blocks up on the other side of Princess.

Okay breakfast joint. Staff not overly attentive particularly with the coffee. Our waitress seemed put out when our daughter had trouble making up her mind. Breakfast was typical diner fair. Not great, not awful. Pretty middle of the road. Home fries looked undercooked and slimy and reminded me of scalloped potatoes. I prefer well cooked, slightly crunchy home fries.

A must stop breakfast/lunch spot for anyone looking for a great downtown experience. The staff are friendly, attendant, professional, yet make you feel like you've known them for years. The atmosphere can't be matched. Get the cheese omelette and bring an appetite.

I love Peter's place. I've go for breakfast here 12x per year for the last 6 years. It's great food, great value, friendly staff, keep me going back. There are other decent breakfast spots downtown but I have found none of them are Peter's. Stella Dora was close when it was open but that's a different story. Anyway, if your in Kingston do not overlook Peter's when you go out for breakfast.

On Thursday this place gave a positive glow to a very hectic day. I walked in and told them I had twenty minutes and asked if that would work for them. Pat took my order at the door with a smile and invited me to choose a table. I had time to check a few emails, and my omelette, salad and coffee were placed in front of me by Steacy in minutes, who smiled and asked if she could help me further! The staff here deserve an A+ for friendliness and customer care. Thank you Pat and Steacy!

I went here with my friend for lunch in mid February 2020. This place is bright, clean, with reasonable prices for breakfast & lunch. We ordered two plates of their garlic & tomato bruschetta (scrumptious) plus a sandwich & salad lunch special which was fresh & delicious. The waitresses & owners are friendly & have been in business for a long time. In more recent times the restaurant expanded in the building plaza where its located at the corner of Princess & Ontario Sts. For being a downtown place the prices are very affordable. Please note the are only open till 3pm during the week.

Well lit, beautiful decor, and they make the perfect Saturday morning breakfast. The dining area has a very open feeling and the service is prompt and accurate. Portion sizes are more than enough to fill you up and my kids couldn't get enough of the pancakes. Highly recommend this place to anybody!
