I used to work here. Their foods are awesome and bubble tea is also very promising. Their back kitchen is clean so you don’t need to worry about getting dirty food. I moved to Halifax and I miss this place. Sadly there isn’t a single place in Halifax like Itea.

Very disappointed and will never return. After I paid 18$ for a pork Bento, I received a small deep fried piece of chicken that was no better than a box of chicken nuggets. My friend received a pork ramen that had a pungent fishy taste to the broth. We waited for an entire hour. The entire staff was constantly pulling their masks down, gossiping, having conversations, messing up orders, swearing and throwing items around. Capacity was other the limit for about half an hour. Just truly unhappy. Also, if you look up the vents are dirty and have what appears to be black mould.

I have been ordering with itea for a while now, however recently my orders, one or two drinks, have been taking on average 40-60 minutes each time. I order pick up through uber eats and Ive seen customers who order walk in receive their drinks after 5-10 minutes while I have been waiting for my pickup drink for 40+ minutes. This makes me wonder if they prioritize their walk in orders and delay their online orders as they are able to change the pick up time. They’re customer service is also very poor sometimes as they do not acknowledge your wait nor are they apologetic about the long wait. in the past week or two I have had many unpleasant experience with the long wait and the poor customer service. very unsatisfied with itea!

I ordered pick up at iTea and I waited for, no joke, 51minutes exactly for my two mango smoothies that we did not end up receiving. On top of that their customer service was horrible too. When I went in the cashier fully saw me and had two eye contacts but didn’t bother to service me nor take my complaints. In the end I cancelled the order and their response was one mad “okay”. During my 51 minutes of waiting, there were no apologies what so ever. I DON’T RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THEM

Tonkotsu was crispy on top but very soggy on the bottom which was weird considering I opened the container as soon as it was delivered. The mango smoothie wasn't sweet at all and tasted very watered down.

I guess if you come here for food it might be ok. We just come for bubble tea. Tonight they told me they had no mango mango.. so we ordered something else. Paid for my order and sat down to wait. A minute later they told me sorry but they had no Pearl's.. so we got a refund. Might find a new place for bubble tea, that's the second time in a row they were out of pearls.

Good matcha latte and taro milk tea. Service is pretty slow though, it took around 20 minutes for my two drinks. The inside of the store could be cleaner. The booths were pretty dirty and the seating was badly worn.

I first went to ITEA on May 19th, 2020 and it was my first ever experience at a bubble tea shop. I went in with only a loose idea of what to expect and what I wanted (and that was a taro milk tea which was recommended to me). I went in, placed my order and was told that they were unable to complete it because they were out of some of the toppings. I didn't think to ask what I should get in the event that taro milk tea wasn't available, and I certainly didn't ask what taro milk tea was. I was worried I was going to end up with a drink that I didn't particularly like because I'm the kind of person who hates going into an establishment without knowing what I want but the young lady behind the cash was quick to offer me similar choices to what I had ordered, and I ended up getting an up-sized taro milk tea with pudding which I really enjoyed (and continue to order). A long story short the customer service was great and greatly appreciated.

Since we saw that presotea was closed we decided to google another bubble tea place near. My dad loved the matcha mousse tea! It was his first time trying it after i told him i tried some in toronto. I-Tea is the best place in Kingston to get fresh, delicious bubble tea. Their tapioca is perfectly cooked and their variety of flavours is amazing. Taro is a must try, and with the ability to customize ice and sugar level, there is something for everyone. I-Tea used to be located in the West end and we were regular customers. The same two people who run it are wonderful. They are so nice and accommodating and willing to help you choose the best drink possible. We used to go there almost everyday. It is now a treat when we head downtown and is a must for anyone wanting a sweet treat. The atmosphere is also very inviting. Ample space to sit and free wifi. This would be my go-to study spot. Don't skip! they also offer wonderful appetizers and food. One stop shop! Keep up the great work I-Tea!

ITEA is a quaint little storefront with vibrant colors and a fun drink menu. Upon arrival I noticed the proper covid protocol was put into place and the surfaces were all clean. Unfortunately despite these highlights I waited a total of 30 minutes in line and was not acknowledged when I approached the cash register, nor was I told I would be served 'in a moment'. I was very disappointed with customer service as they looked like they could care less if I was there or not. So I walked out sadly, drinkless and I feel a waste of my time. I would have used the app for pick up but they have an incomplete menu on the delivery app and I couldn't order what I wanted from them. Overall highly disappointed and I do not recommend ???? will not be going again.

The staff here are amazing after years of saying I'm going too, I finally went in to try a bubble tea I explained to the girl I had never had one she answered all my questions and asked me a few to figure out what I would like which finally got me to order a toffee milk tea which was pretty good but I found out I am not a fan of the beads so I don't think I will be drinking those again but as we were waiting a gentleman came out and offered my 3 year old a take out container of custard which I tried as well and it was delicious. So aside from me not being a fan of the beads this store is def a 5 of 5 for everything else especially customer service

According to Google Reviews, this place is better than ShareTea nearby. However, their bubble is just as bad. Had a half sugar no ice roasted milk tea. It tasted bland and watered down. Maybe their food is good, dont recommend for drinks. On the other hand, service was really quick.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I've been here many times since they first opened in Kingston. I ordered a taro coconut milk tea with pearl - employee comes up to me after I've paid to tell me they're out of taro coconut. So I said fine I'll just take regular taro milk tea with pearl. Waited 10 minutes for 2 drinks only to get a HOT milk tea. I brought to the employees attention only for her to argue to me that I ordered taro coconut milk tea and she says it only comes hot not cold. First of all she told me they ran out of taro coconut milk tea and secondly I know exactly what I ordered and it wasn't hot tea. I've been here many times and have never been given HOT tea when I ordered, your staff could have at least clarified this before making it. Instead of arguing with me your staff could have offered to correct the order but instead did nothing at all. On top of that this place is dirty. Will no longer be returning. Taking my business elsewhere.

Really good boba! My family loves it. However, it does take a long time to receive the two drinks we order whenever we’re down there, and the cashier told me sister the card she wanted to use wasn’t accepted (visa prepaid gift card, which you go about doing like a regular visa credit card and the customer just swipes). Good quality, just not as good service.

The portion of bubble tea was small and the cups were flimsy compared to another tea café and so I was disappointed with that. The pork ramen had a bit of a barn smell to it but I've read that this can be a common occurrence with this type of broth. My husband didn't seem to mind heh. We ordered take-out. We'd recommend eating elsewhere just because there are better alternatives. With that said, I've only eaten here once and maybe I caught them on a bad day, so 3/5.

order bubble tea for delivery, no straw ！！！！！ Bubble tea, or boba tea as it is known in stateside, can't do without straws. This beverage don't use just any type of straws; it has to use those extra large diameter straws in order for you to suck those pearl thingy.

Food and bubble tea were very tasty, however - the wait was exceptionally long for food and drinks and was disappointed to read other reviews to see this is the norm. Also, had 2 slices of cheesecake missed from our order, had to come almost an hour back (drove in from north or Napanee for a treat meal) and were given the teeny tiniest slices of cheese cake imaginable. Really unfortunate but don't know that I'll be returning after the excessive wait and order mix up, since the food and drink were enjoyable and employees were friendly. Hopefully service times can be improved in the future.

While I normally love the bubble tea and ramen served at itea, today I decided to switch things up and order a large avocado smoothie with tempura shrimp. Maybe it was an off day, but the shrimp was noticeably saltier than the last time I ordered, and I was frustrated by the smoothie which was gritty with ice and tasted very watered down for something blended with icecream and at 75% sugar. If going to this place, I highly recommend you order from their list of teas as they seem to have better consistency with those.

super disappointed. i’m new to the kingston area and was dying to have some bubble tea & takoyaki! my boyfriend also wanted a smoothie, so this was the perfect place to satisfy both of our cravings! or so we thought. i placed an order for delivery at 9:30 pm. i waited 2 hours (it is now 11:25 pm) to be told by my uber eats driver that my order has not even been made yet. at this point, it’s far too late and i don’t even want my order at this point, as i now would not be receiving it well after midnight. thankfully uber was able to cancel my order & refund me right away. 2 hours for 2 drinks & one appetizer. i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. extremely disappointed with what was my first and most definitely my last experience with ITEA.

Best taro smoothie I've ever had! I've been to dozens of places and this one is great quality. Taro was smooth and creamy without being grainy. Got it with pudding and it tasted similar to white chocolate. The matcha smoothie was pretty impressive too! Will always get it from here.

Am a regular here and always order miso ramen no corn due to allergies. Ive always loved the place but am rather disapointed. Today i ordered regular. The ramen came out with corn in it. Which was ok i just sent it back to get fixed. Till they came back same bowl of ramen having just picked out the corn as there was still bits of corn. Very unsafe and upsetting how they handle an allergy.

Sorry to say this…but we waited for so long to take out not great food:(. If the food is worth the wait, which we were expecting, it is OK. After having waited for 45 mins, we got…. A chunk of noodle which was just like freeze dry ramen. It was Hokkaido miso ramen but other ramen we ordered had exactly the same ingredients except the colour of soup. Not spicy as the description said. No bean sprout but only some corn and green onion. And memma which was not chewable. The matcha cheesecake was so tiny and hard to believe that we paid $7 for it. By the way, the price on the board in the store is not updated. Everything is 30% more expensive. Just a disappointment after paying $100 for this dinner ????.

Coming from the perspective of a guy that is from Toronto, Kingston bubble tea just doesn't cut it as top tier. It is however just enough to satisfy my craving for a milk tea with tapioca. Needless to say, I do prefer iTea as my choice when I'm in the mood for bubble tea. But again, I wouldn't give it the full 5/5 star experience based on standards set by locations like The Alley or Coco, Chatime, Gongcha, etc. I would give it a 3/5 rating for "It's OK", but their food dishes are decently good, especially their Taiwanese Popcorn chicken. Again, other locations in Toronto might offer better taste and such, but I am willing to iTea the benefit of an additional +1 star rating for their food. TL;DR, Kingston bubble tea is trash but can be temporarily satisfied 3/5⭐ for bubble tea +1⭐ for food

Amazing drinks and high-quality customer service. The staff are extremely friendly and they are definitely willing to help out if you're unsure of what you want. I have tried quite a few drinks, and the only two that I genuinely didn't like were the matcha red bean and the jasmine green (?) milk tea. I don't know why, I just didn't like them, but don't let that stop you from giving them a visit! So far, my favorites are the Chocolate Milk Tea (with pearls) and the Taro Milk Tea with pearls. Both are extremely good. The price is fair and the shop itself is clean and cute. I definitely recommend this for a hangout, a study-spot, or anything really.

The BEST customer service, drinks, and food! I brought my nine year old daughter, who was desperate to try bubble tea. We were recommended a drink, which she loved. We returned to get the same drink and realized they also made ramen! They accommodated her tastes, and mine (although sold out of the ramen I wanted, but alas, popular item!!) the dishes were amazing, and we will be back for sure. Not to mention the kind gift of a dessert! A fantastic spot in food, drink, and service!

I had the shoyu ramen and I wasn't impressed. The broth was tasteless with zero body. I thought the egg, pork, and noodles were good but a meal like Ramen must be based on its broth and this one wasn't.

Pros:Great bubble tea place in town, good flavour and variety, I'd recommend the Mango bubble tea. sometimes worth the wait Cons: Sometimes the place can get really crowded as their customers come in waves. you really have to time when to go there as it can take about 20 mins to get your bubble tea during those crowded periods ( only 2 people work the counter at a time and they're the ones making the drinks)

My daughter LOVES this place, so I took her there on our outting. I am not much for tea, but it is not just tea served there! She ordered me a strawberry something with popping boba beads in them and it was delicious! I will for sure go back! The product was great, but only a 4 star as the restaurant is in a bit of disarray which really made waiting for our drinks difficult to stand amongst the mess...but hey at least they are open again ????

So tonight (on the March 10, around 8:50-9:30) I saw a server (male) forget to give a couple their chicken wings before they left the store. Then the same server gave the paid chicken wings to a guy (I think it was his friend). Then later another couple complained about not getting the chicken wings they ordered. What was crazy was what happened next. The server took the chicken wings he gave to his friend and gave it to the couple. That’s disgusting! The things you learn about iTea when you have to wait 40 minutes for your drink. PS: their food and drinks are really good, but they need to find better servers than the one's working tonight.

Ordered my first time with ITEA to be delivered by Uber. I ordered the chicken teriyaki don, the Japanese dessert and the royal earl grey with taro crystal pearls. I didn't have high expectations for the food because most bubble tea places don't put a lot of effort in the food. But my chicken looked like real, not frozen chicken however some pieces were a little cartiledge like. I really enjoyed the pickled cabbage, and it came with a perfectly fried egg. The one bummer was the japanese dessert was simply 2 pieces of matcha roll cake (it was very tasty) but i found this to be a little overpriced for what you get. Over all good tea with real food options, I will order again :)

I'm from out of town, I ordered a green apple green tea when I was in Kingston, and by far it was the worst bubble tea I have ever had in my life. It had no flavour what so ever, all I could taste was watered down tea.

This is our favorite "dessert" place. They have the most and best selection in town for bubble tea. I love their lattes! One time they even threw in extra pearls free of charge just in case we misread the menu (my boyfriend just likes the fruity drink, no add ins). My only complaint is how expensive their cheese cake slices are considered its frozen cheese cake....
