Most lovely spot in town for a cuppa. People trying always to be kind. Izy would love it.

Tiny location with a very simple menu but I really loved their coffee. They have a frequently changing selection of breakfast/dessert pastries. It's more of a takeout than sit down place.

Hailey Kowalson

Good atmosphere, great coffee. A little bit of close quarters. Not a lot of room. The bench seating isn't the most comfortable. Great place to grab and go from though. The croissants here are to die for. :)

Benjamin Schoenfelder

Great service but only one flavor option for those of us who like sweetener in our breves. The coffee itself was a very strong nutty flavor, great if you like that, but not what I was looking for.

Michael Rathwell

Amazing service and friendly staff! They know their product so well and are so happy to answer your questions. Highly recommend them! #SupportLocal

Denver Smith

Fantastic independent spot. Could use more seating.

Dave Thomas

First really good coffee shop in the downtown and exchange district, if you exclude Starbucks (which I do). Knowledgeable staff and they still locally roasted Dogwood Coffee. Not a lot of places to sit and have a long chat. Plan on taking your coffee to go if it's at all busy.

Coffee was good but my chai latte has no flavor. This could be steeped more or use two tea bags if they dont prepare it before hand. The store had lots of dust on the menu and the products on the wall.

Friendly staff, nice selection of coffee beans to buy and take home. Tried the London fog which was fine. Nice music and seating area. Big windows but not too sunny to see/relax. Seating is bar style along the walls, with metal stools. Not super comfy to lounge with a book but nice for a coffee and chat. Chill vibe. I like it!

I’m in transition from a Keurig machine coffee cassettes with sweetener and milk and found this delightful coffee shop while searching for a burr type coffee grinders which their photo shows. My coffee was great, the dainties fresh and they have a good selection of BARATZA made grinders in addition to a selection of hand grinders. I chose the much regarded Encore model. A very nicely appointed interior, pleasant and professional staff and a window seat allowed watching our busy city on a Saturday afternoon.

Great espresso - I've only had it to go, but the back (shared?) area looks inviting... or was that just the salon?

My favourite cafe in the Exchange!! Very friendly staff, and beautiful place to sit and look out at Main Street. Also, there’s interesting artwork in the cafe that changes up every few months. Espresso is some of the best I’ve had, and if you come early enough, there are also croissants and doughnuts. Thanks for being here and making downtown enjoyable!!

Dilendra Wanigasekara

Nice coffee. Not a lot of parking around but great spot for passersby

Libby Hsiao

This bright minimalist well appointed space is pretty to look at, but lacks the welcoming atmosphere that entices you to sit down and enjoy the coffee slowly. The espresso shots the group of us were spread across two different types of bean but they didn't bother taking the time to describe or ask any of us which we'd prefer. The shots themselves were unusually acidic, verging on sour especially given that we'd had beans from the same roaster just minutes before at another purveyor of coffee. Overall an underwhelming coffee experience.

James Cook

Always great for a quick meeting with friends

Jordan Blight

Cute little place, dont have much places to sit though.

Adam Orbanski

Great ambience. It was one of the busier coffee shops I’ve been to in the city but really enjoyed the environment! It’s located in an older building so I really appreciated the aesthetic of it all. The guys at the front were very kind and the coffee and pastry I had was very delicious. I would definitely come back and try their other drinks!

Have been a regular here since 2017. Warm and thoughtful service. One of the best window views in the Exchange District. Have heard from multiple sources that Parlour serves the best coffee in Winnipeg(a couple of out-of-towners also said, the best coffee they'd had in Canada :O ). Added incentive: Parlour sells cheese croissants and butter tarts!(amongst other pastries/cookies etc)

Parlour is one of the best places for coffee in town. They serve excellent espresso and espresso based drinks, pour-over coffee and and snacks. They also carry high quality coffee beans from various roasters and a good selection of coffee paraphernalia. Great location and atmosphere.

One of the best places to get coffee in this city! Staff is friendly, coffee and pastries are delicious, and the interior is gorgeous

Tried this place for the first time a couple days ago and wow it was by far the best coffee I have ever had! They brew each cup when you order and the barista's were all so friendly. It was a great place that anyone in the Winnipeg area needs to check out! Only slight caveat is it is not as quick as a major chain, obviously this is to be expected if you want the higher quality and is not a complaint just give yourself an extra couple minutes when you go!

Luke Thiessen

Always great coffee, always great staff, always great everything.

Irlanda Gomez

Johan Vroomen

Wonderful selection of brewing paraphernalia, tasty beverages (find the coffee smooth but a little more tangy/cropy than I prefer though it goes really well in their mocha). Baked good tasty. Modern cool feel to the atmosphere but the baristas were still very pleasant. Would recommend if your looking for brewing equipment.

Parlour Cofee, on Main near Banatyne is a "cool" little coffee shop with a "social conscience". The soy mocca was delicious. It does not have great seating though, and the heavy doors make accessibility difficult for some.

Edit: Bean list is on the wall ???????? I just moved into the area and wanted to find a good coffee spot - this was my first stop! The americano was very good, but it’s missing at least one absolute essential for a stand-alone coffee shop - what the heck are you using for beans? What’s the origin, who was the roaster, what are the flavour notes? Is a pourover available and what varieties would be included? Do customers have options or is it only one bean at a time? I was pretty surprised to see no info available at all - providing this would be a great way to help you upsell bags as well!

Ishtiaque Shahrier

This is a great place for coffee. I like the employees as well..very well mannered and customer focused. If you are a tea lover do jot forget to have the "builders tea". Its not on the menu though..you have to ask for it and it is awesome!!

My husband and I’ve been going to Parlour coffee about once a week for three years and love there coffee. If you go, the mocha they make it with real chocolate makes a big difference. Only problem is the one VERY rude staff member, the tall young man. Never in 3 years has he greeted us with a smile. Always bored/annoyed expression, seems unhappy to be there. Should NOT be in service. The other staff is always pleasant, quick. Great coffee.

Good service and good coffee. They are a good shop to drop in for your coffee to go. Not the best for sitting and chatting with a group of friends but has a good atmoshere for sitting by yourself and getting work done while sipping your beverage.

I like the espresso here, it's delicious. The pastry selection is great and the shop is cozy and welcoming. My only criticism is a little superficial but I wish they offered a student discount. Lots of shops in the area do offer a discount that makes it a bit more affordable.

The employees at Parlour are much more pretentious and less welcoming than any other local coffee shop in Winnipeg. My wife describes an experience she had where she and a friend went in and ordered 2 coffees only to be told that they do not serve coffee; they serve espresso. There is very little, if any, space to stay and enjoy your coffee in the store. Parlour coffee uses Dogwood coffee which is very bright and acidic. The coffee is roasted in Winnipeg, but the headquarters for Dogwood is in St. Paul, MN.

G

Good coffee, not great for hanging out or for a meeting. Little seating space and very busy crammed setting

Great coffee, pretentious and irritating staff and customers. Still worth it.
