One of my favorite spots to grab a coffee, awesome atmosphere, it feels like I'm sitting on the side of a mountain, there's this big ol stone fireplace right in the middle with leather chairs next to it (best spot to curl up with a book). They also have a good assortment of pastries and little breakfast sandwiches, not tons for food, but enough for a hearty snack. Definitely a must check out ????????????????????????

I had a matcha drink and it was very great, premium drinks, the one down side is that single people were sitting at 2 chair tables when they were just on the computer by them selves ... so we had to sit at the bar stools facing a wall... lol go when it's not busy

My daughter liked the London Fog however the espresso did not pass grade. Pour should be slower and bean was a little too dark for a good espresso. Ask for a double short if you choose to give it a try. Nice looking cafe though.

Great place to hang out with a friend for coffee, lots of people study here and I tried to do that but it's way too loud for that. Vibe and food and drinks are all good and reasonable. My constant issue with this place is the staff, I find them too concerned with finishing their conversations with eachother rather than serving customers or continuing their conversations about their weekend plans and private life details while serving customers. Management needs to do a better job at making sure employees act as though they're employed in a work setting and not hanging out in the hallways at school.

They have the usual range of drinks. However, they also have friendly staff and a wooden decor that makes you feel more like you're in a mountain lodge than in a coffee shop. This is not your standard multinational coffee shop and that's a good thing.

This is a great coffee shop in the Northeast Kildonan Area. Definitely a neighbourhood staple stop, with room to study, read, meet or to simply relax. All the hot and cold beverages are really good, my favourite being the London fog all the hot and cold beverages are really good, with my favourite being the London Fog. Pastries and sandwiches are good too. It’s worth a stop in.

Mountain Bean is a jewel among coffee shops. I have spent a lot of time there, because the atmosphere is just superb, with the large space split into different areas with different moods. The coffee is also to die for, and that's really kept me coming back. It's better than anything else out there. On top of that the staff are always very friendly and impeccably polite.

Seating indoors and outside, clean shop, I like the decor/wood finish, some food options that a coffee shop should have, beside a park trail and off a main road, in a small parking lot with other amenities (liquor) but is a fairly popular place so don't be surprised if you have to wait in line a little bit. If you typically hate lines then exercise just a little patience and you're set.

They have cosy nooks near the fireplace. A hustling place when it's busy. Excellent variety of teas. Limited selection of savoury items. Their sandwiches are ok, definitely not as exciting as the desserts. Laptops are welcome with ample outlets.

This cafe has an urban chic decor with comfy wooden chairs. There is a fireplace to sit by if you are feeling cool & you can also sit at bar seats around the place as well. There are many kinds of teas & coffees to choose from & many bakery treats, as well as some snacks. I had prickly pear tea & a peanut butter/marshmallow which was HUGE & very delicious!! It was sp big that I couldn't finish it at once, so I took it home & finished it the next day!! The only thing I don't like is that they don't serve you at your table, your food is served cafeteria style. The other thing is that they close at 10 pm, I wish they would stay open later!! I will be returning here for sure!! ????❤

Love the bean. Got a Strawberry Storm ice Blend. Wow...definitely strawberry. And I always go there to get my fav...a peanut butter marshmallow square. The piece you get is huge. Big enough to kill my craving over the next couple of days.
