You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the top, and it is based on a very large number of reviews, so we may think that the evaluation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to leave their opinion when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Antique store.
I enjoyed the atmosphere. Only had a coffee but it was just right. Wishing been had something like this in my town.
Loved it! Coffee was made properly. Awesome collection of rare books inside to browse while you wait, or drink.
Excellent handcrafted coffee and treats, the spectacular atmosphere coupled with the colorful staff and lovely owners, makes this a must visit shop! Don't forget to give Robbie's paw a shake :)
One of my favorite local coffee places here in Kelowna. Staff is friendly, americanos are delicious, atmosphere is pleasant and unique. Will continue to grab my morning coffee here ☕
Pretty awesome coffee and great vibe. I find it a little pricy though.
Super retro and groovy place. They serve great parallel 49 coffee
Wonderful quirky cafe, with a huge drinks menu, and some vegan options too for food. Staff are really friendly, play awesome retro tunes (think the godfather) with a lovely patio outside in downtown Kelowna. We'll worth a visit and a look around the antiques section as well!
Good lavander coffee. The cinnamon rolls are really good.
Owner very kind, great atmosphere, also vegan donuts!
I adored the retro vibe that this coffee shop has given off. I highly recommend trying one of the croissant sandwhiches, as they are to die for! Also loved the fact that they had a sugar jar to sweeten your coffee with metal spoons, rather than plastic
Really cool place! Tons of character, great malts. It closes pretty early.
Bought a 99.cent can of Arizona iced tea. It cost 2.60$ that's 160 percent mark up. Even can has 99 cent tag on lable. Hmm. Makes u think how much else is marked up. Very sad. That there's that high of a mark up.
Quaint little coffee house. Neat decorations and atmosphere. Standard prices. Different drink combinations I had never experienced before, which was neat.
What's not to love, classic racy, culture & art. Great coffee and chai, vintage books and lot's to see and talk about. A great first date or illicit rendezvous place!!
I only got to spend a short amount of time here, but the donuts and coffee are tasty, the decor is lovely, and the books are wonderful to gaze at! I rate 5 impenetrable James Joyce passages out of 5.
Smells musty. Cool antiques but rooms aren't very organized for viewing all the old collectables.
Crappy customer service. They treat you like you don't exist. No smiling or acknowledgment..only when you order. Had a Nanaimo bar and a coffee. Coffee was fine, the bar was tiny. Felt completely unwelcome. Not enjoyable whatsoever.
Wonderful food, staff, and atmosphere. My favorite coffee shop.
The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic, lots to look at while you enjoy some very good coffee. Love the unique setting here.
Great coffee.. Not child friendly.. no change tables. ????
I come here to get away from the show. I have meetings here because the environment just feels natural and familiar. Service is great.
So many old books and good coffee. Try the baccon donut!
The cutest coffee place in town! Good coffee, delicious pastries, friendly staff, cute puppy, full of books and fun art
Decent coffee and very funky interior. One block off Bernard so if you want to escape the madding crowd, this is your first choice.
Nice cozy place to grab a coffee. The decor is unique and the food is excellent. Also, the prices are cheap. The matcha latte was good, the avocado toast are a must.
Was ok didn't feel very welcome. Was intriguing to see but didn't stay as they staff wasn't very friendly.
Love the ambience. Perfect place to go and study, or read a novel and relax.
They are the best. We are building next door and they have been great.
Pulp Fiction just has such a cool vibe and energy about it. Lots of creative types hang out or come together here for meetings. So unlike the big coffee shop chains, really quite refreshing.
The espresso here is delicious, staff is kind and the bathrooms are clean. The selection of books is only matched by the library! They have occasional poetry readings, live music and open mic nights here.
Unique Coffee shop with rare books antique shop attached. Check out the Cold brew
This is one of the most interesting coffee places I have ever been. I have a thing for pulp fiction and the place is wall to wall of the stuff. I like the retro art work of these pieces of literature. There is a huge, but friendly, dog from the bookstore attached (but separate from coffee shop). The coffee is on par with great coffee places I've been to. They offer everything from drip coffee to (real) macchiato coffee. They sell beans here as well. The atmosphere puts this place over the top for me.
Really cute cafe. My friend and I enjoyed looking through the antiques and playing with the dog they had in the back!
Needed breakfast and coffee. The egg sliders and the pastries were top notch. Will return next time in Kelowna
We randomly walked into this place on our way out of Kelowna and really enjoyed it! The breakfast croissant was delicious and the coconut milk iced mocha was absolutely amazing. We also took some time to walk around and check out the decor and there are some very interesting pieces. Overall great vibes and great eats/drinks
Cool quirky/kitschy coffee shop with a decent amount of seating, a wide selection of coffee/tea drinks and snacks.
The hot chocolate and breakfast croissant were amazing. Can't wait to try the cinnamon buns and bacon doughnut.
Best around wont find anything else like it I mainly go for their "quad shot espresso milkshake" absolutely delicious and the staff is always extra nice and the atmosphere is genuinely one of a kind
Despite its super cool, hip and funky interior, the coffee and baked goods just don't quite stand up to some of their competitors in Kelowna...would love to give 4 stars...but the price/value of this place isn't quite there yet...
Great little coffee shop. My daughter says there London fog is the best she ever had
Great atmosphere, extremely strong Americanos and above all Robbie (the awesome dog)
Great coffee and cinnamon buns!
absolutely love this place! go in the back after coffee and breakfast and check out the massive collection of pulp fiction novels!!
Maple bacon donut was amazing. It is cool that the store found their own little niche with the antiques. There's a lack of comfortable furnishing. Nothing to let you lean back and relax with a laptop or anything of the sort, rather the main area is filled with lousy metallic tables and barstools. Coffee refills are rather expensive for such a short cup as well at $1.50/fill. Great place, but not somewhere to go for any lengthy period of time, ie: to study or do work.
Ancient books to browse, art to view, and wonderful coffee!
We came here right when they opened Saturday morning so I cannot comment on how busy they could get. Overall the atmosphere was cozy. Their decorations are something that I really enjoy - 60s to 70s era movie posters are everywhere. The dishes we have tried are incredibly delicious, filling and affordable. As someone from Vancouver where most small businesses are closing down, it's a breathe of fresh air to see something this relaxing and down to earth
Great atmosphere, but service was lacking. Took 10-20 min for us to receive our two milkshakes, that were good, but not worth $15 for two.
Visited with the family today. Met the owner I believe, nice gentleman. I didn't realize there is a whole book store one the inside. He took the time to explain a bit about the antique book trade.
delicious food and drinks, cute space, nice music, and the friendliest staff! highly recommend everyone in the kelowna area to make a stop by this place! (ps. the chloe croissant is absolutely amaaazing)
One of the many reasons we moved to Kelowna...Max, his staff, Robbie and great coffee and atmosphere make this the best place to hang in Kelowna
Love how they have a theme without being cheesy or over the top. Great place to study or meet with friends. The chai latte is to die for!
Different environment. Very old school vibe. The drinks are amazing and unique. They offer free wifi so great place to catch up with work.
Ambience: 5/5, you will feel like you are in 60/70' s cafe. Food: 4/5 I ordered a hot chocolate and cookie. Hot chocolate was really very Ok, cookie on the other hand was relishing.
Tasty treats, friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Usually not too loud or busy, but not quiet enough to read if that's your mission. Always has great jazz/oldies music playing. Coffee is good, cinnamon buns are delicious. Bookstore has amazing selection of novels, comics, and collectible oddities.
Great spot for coffee and brunch. Would recommend. Decor is old books and def has that old book smell!
Really good coffee and excellent food. The place is fun to be in. Nicely done.
We went there for breakfast and ordered croissants. Taste was good but it was not value for money as quantity was not enough. Also they charge extra for coffee refills which is unusual for dine in breakfast spots. Theme and decor of this place is very good. They have books to read and is close to lake to grab a quick bite in the morning.
Coffee is amazing, donuts & cinnamon buns both delicious, great vibe. Yum
If you want decent coffee, this is not the place.
A really charming place with great coffee, a great dog, and cool people.
What a charming and unique coffee house! If you love old books this is the place for you!
Very cozy, hip coffee shop. The art on the walls and the little details all over cafe make for a great experience. Plus all the food, coffee and tea options. The staff were super friendly!
Great for coffee, specialty coffee and tea drinks, baking and light eats. Very special retro decor and connected to a funky collectors book and collectors item store, hence the name. Great for a break from the traditional coffee shop chains.
The name jumped out of Google Maps when browsing the Kelowna area. How could I NOT visit Pulp Fiction Coffee House?! It's easy to spot a block away due to the rainbow crossings on the roads, and it just gets quirkier from there. The coffee shop has a vast range of coffees, teas, milkshakes, etc, as well as fresh baked goods, sandwiches, amongst others. On my second visit I saw a sign advertising an African Fog which I must recommend for any London Fog fans. The adjoining Robbie's Rare Books is a gold mine of wonder. Thousands of fantastic books, and many antiques and unique art pieces, you could lose yourself in here for hours. We met Max and his faithful companion, and company CEO, Robbie the poodle. I'd say read the story on the website, but don't want to spoil all the fun. A must visit if in Kelowna.
Always come here when I come to Kelowna! Love the little antique store and the puppy ❤
Great coffee and nice decoration, specially if you are a Pulp Fiction movie
Great drinks and customer service. The treats were great as well, gluten and dairy free friendly!
A fantastic coffee shop. The internet connection is great, the books are fantastic and the people are very charming. If you're thinking of bringing someone out of town, you can't go wrong getting a nice drink at this charming place.
Nice ambience, lots of interesting menu items from specialty coffee to milkshakes to kombucha. Fast wifi too!
Pretty good coffee and a nice ambience in the shop.
This place rocks...best coffee in Canada outside of Oz haha well done guys
Buy a coffee and snack...and a book! The owner has a used book store at the rear. Don’t expect the books to be cheap - the ones I bought averaged $60-$70. He has original classics. Check it out.
This place is like nothing I've ever seen before. Of you like the smell of old books and antiques with good coffee and treats this is the place to check out! This is a sit anywhere, use the wifi, and they will bring your food to you kind of spot. The ladies and gents working there are phenomenal!
Its a bit busy sometimes (which as an introvert i dislike) but the coffee and food is great! staff are very friendly and helpful and while I am always attentive I'm not just hogging the wifi for hours without buying anything they have never mentioned anything to me. I wish they were a little cheaper, but I think thats just the world we live in now, and I'm just hoping they pay their staff fairly :) oh and lots of great/ awesome quirks: power bars available on some tables to plug in your phone, a puppy dog stands between the antique shop and the coffee house readily available for pets without violating any animal health codes (since hes technically over the line).
A cool place to chill or meet up. Great coffee and snacks. I find the atmosphere relaxed and the seating is good for meeting someone or sitting by yourself. Great vibe.
Great service, very informative
For sure one of the better cafes in the Dt core. It's a funky spot right Dt. Off the main drag but the best coffee close to Bernard. Typically coffee shop offering for food. Nothing crazy good but can make good coffee. Think they use 49th from Van and maybe one other roaster. Be cool lf they were more into coffee and offered cool pour overs etc... But they are one of the best in Kelowna for a cup
This place is a must go if you are in the area. You know why, the atmosphere is so great. Lots of food choices too.
Great concept. Loved the store and the café. Good prices and friendly staff.
Delicious coffee in a very unique store. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Amazing place. Great coffee, crazy curiosities and rare books. Definitely a must go.
Pulp Fiction coffee is always a treat, and to be honest I think they are my favorite bean. Their dark roast is very delicious and their food options are great as well. Nice staff, always friendly and smiling and the atmosphere is just perfect. One of my favorite Coffee Shops in Canada for sure - and I've been to a lot :D
Amazingly place with a coffeeshop and a curio/ antique book store in same space with incredible first edition books and a selection of art deco bookends clocks etc. Go explore!
Oh my goodness! This is the cutest coffee shop with the most character and charm in downtown Kelowna! If you are looking for a place that screams authenticity and genuine care and is a super cool atmosphere to spend an afternoon in oh, this is it! Go in and say hi to Max the owner and R2 his cute poodle and grab a famous milkshake or a hot beverage to warm your heart! Five out of five definitely recommend!
Excellent staff, ultra cool interior and great coffee!
Tea drinker here. Quality chamomile. Retro. Cute. Friendly. Smells like old books if you're into that.
Such a great atmosphere! Love the library and all the vintage items! Plus the great coffee and eats!
Absolutely the most delicious hot chocolate I have had in a while, and a cute cozy atmosphere to sip that drink in. The staff were wonderful, the beverage was well prepared, and the price is very reasonable. Happy to have found this one.
Amazing selection. I would highly recommend the African Fog. Wonderful take on the London Fog. Great vibe and very educated staff.
Great coffee good prices and amazing atmosphere
My two faves: coffee shop and book store. Good food, cozy work spaces, fast wifi. It was the perfect spot to spend some wait time in Kelowna.
Quick friendly service, good coffee and fresh pastries in a fun convenient space.
Great place to have a coffee with an interesting atmosphere and unique selection of old books
Lots of old books... it even smells like old books!! I like that. The coffee is good and strong too.
Cool place. Good coffee, food better than I expected. Kind of expensive if you are trying to fill up on lunch. Friendly staff.
Delicious coffee every time!
Love the vintage bookstore!
Cute, quiet, and friendly. They're coffee is quite good and no more expensive than any other coffee house. They have a very cute atmosphere and play 50s music to go along with their aesthetic. Smack in the center of down town it's close to the water and the park.
Cool place, nice decor and drinks.
Staff and service are fantastic. The food and drinks are always top notch. The general vibe of the place and Robbie make it a great meeting place for friends.
great place. gotta try their Greek Chicken and a lot of coffee :)
Great coffee, good location, and in a book and antique store. Highly recommended.
Really cool cafe/library. Great coffee
Best coffee house in town! Wonderful books and antique shop connected to the coffee house... simply a wonderful atmosphere and great coffee. I love the staff including Robbie the giant poodle! Pulp Fiction is a great place to socialize, relax, study or meet with clients.
Great coffee and a nice place meet for coffee and conversation! Caramel macchiatos are amazing.
Absolutely amazing collection of books and a wonderful place to sit and chat or do some studying or reading.
Two stars for coffee and sweets but unwelcomed feeling and very average looking female stuff unreasonably entitled. Cleanliness is also an issue. Not my second choice.
Found an arabian nights copy, loved the store max was great..
If you love classic used books and good coffee then you'll love this spot. Good light breakfast options. Stylish interesting decor. Great outdoor seating and tables with water bowls for pets. Friendly staff. I shall be back next time I'm in Kelowna.
Great atmosphere, nice place to sit and relax - enjoy a book or do some work.
Prices are starbucks worthy, but the atmosphere and books are awesome
Great coffee at a affordable price with great customer service, great place for a relaxing business meeting.
Great coffee with a cool vibe! Service was awesome!
So cute, the perfect place for my girls weekend breakfast stop! Fantastic food and drink, I Loved it here
Great, friendly service. Love the 50's style, it's very chill to work or hang out here. It's a bit warm inside though ahah, wear a tshirt under your layers!
Great coffee, cool atmosphere, bookstore, and records. Hard to believe so much is packed into a small space. New location in the downtown mall looks great and is very bright and open. Looking forward to enjoying more coffees here in the future and earning a print after drinking 20 coffees. Can’t go wrong there!!!
Great coffee and breakfast. Super cool place.
Most places in Kelowna downtown are so pretentious. This place is a breathe of fresh air Amazing espresso and biscotti
The staff is friendly, the coffee is wonderful, and the ambiance is brilliant with walls of aged books and retro decor! One of the coolest places in town.
Great atmosphere... but $8.25 for 1 piece of GF bread, with tomato, avocado, peppers and onions. Poor service. I had to ask if they served at the table; as we were seated and given a menu - no table service
Best coffee in Kelowna! I love the decor, vibe, and attached antiques shop.
Nice unique place and a large variety of fresh items. Service could be better
Great Mocca at a reasonable price. Great selection of books too.
retro feel with friendly, smiling helpful staff. good prices, free WiFi and delicious coffee. A must visit in kelowna!
I had their chili and it was delicious but it's the atmosphere that makes the place wonderful. I also really liked the dog who obediently stayed in the bookstore area and clear of the food area. Such a good dog.
I just went there today and what an AMAZING little gem. I was in HEAVEN. Anyone who loves vintage/books/"retro diner feel" meets antique store- this is everything wrapped up into one maze of a Shop. Espresso flavored 50s diner milkshake-to die for, while visiting the very friendly owner and his dog Robbie. I could only spend 3 hours there and I feel like I missed out on so much. I can't wait to go back. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Fantastic experience and I can't wait to go back!!!!!
Wonderful coffee house, avoid the chains and come here! Much more exciting vibe
My favorite place to visit in Kelowna. Been there a few times and it's always as pleasure. The drinks can be made with almond milk, so good for vegans. The ambiance is great and the staff is super friendly. It's always clean and welcoming. The section with books and antiquities is phenomenal, a must see! Also, they have the best matcha latte!
One of the best places to enjoy of a great breakfast during the winter time in Kelowna
Awesome coffee and atmosphere. Great spot for a bite and some caffeine
My 80 year old Mom was having a minor heat stroke, so we stepped inside to get her a cold drink. We were given no greetings. After a short time we were given rude looks as a few did not immediately buy drinks. Eventually a worker approached and basically asked for us to leave. Not impressed.
Was a little crowded. Wasn't sure if there was a limit on people in the store. But had a lot of hand sanitizer. Overall, great.
Comfortable with a few nooks that would serve well for doing homework. Ask what the day's kombucha flavour is. We had a delicious mojito kind. And the cold brew coffee served from a tap with nitro is quite smooth.
Great Coffee. Always friendly service. Croissants are yummy and good value for $. Always a pleasure for breakfast.
Loved the atmosphere of this place: a quirky coffee shop with super friendly staff, great coffee and a plethora of books :)
Delicious. Love the vegan muffin option and the oat milk latte was soooo good. Great vibe and friendly staff.
The place is very cozy. Perfect for reading a book
Great atmosphere, great drinks, awesome snacks, friendly service.... basically all you can ask for in a great local coffee shop.
Great local coffee shop with unique ambiance.
Super cool coffee shop and antique shop, a definite must see in Kelowna!
Great place to lift your mood up. The music, the coffee, colorful ambience reminding of a different era..and a dog :) Tried Cafe Mocha and their Croissant. No complains Recommended coffee shop in downtown kelowna !
Love how it looks and feels but it is very pricey for some food stuffs, but their super yummy so whatever lol ;)
Lovely intimate coffee and tea shop with a retro pulp fiction library vibe... Great selection of coffee and tea drinks, food and snacks, with great staff and service... An order of magnitude nicer and cooler then the chain stores nearby... Highly recommended...!
If you like vantage style it's the place to go. Very charming and felted. Nice old pictures, retro design and nostalgic music and a lots of books around.
Friendly, helpful staff, fantastic coffee and food, plus great ambiance and decor. And a small antique/book shop! This is my new favourite place in Kelowna.
Love this place. Robbie is adorable, the staff is super friendly and the blended caramel coffees are the best I have tasted in Kelowna. Great job!
Cute cluttered decor with friendly staff. Iced London fog was not good tasted like almond milk on ice. Caramel frappe my daughter had she liked.
Amazing visual aesthetic. Great coffee!
I met my wife here 4 years ago. This is a magical place and worth a visit, if not for love then for the delicious cinnamon rolls.
What a GREAT place to have lunch or coffee with friends. The atmosphere is wonderful. The place is full of books and other wonderful things. Be sure to check it out. I am sure you will love it if you like interesting, cozy places to meet up.
Came for takeout coffee but really enjoyed the fun decor and the friendly staff. We had the iced Americanos and they tasted great!
Hidden jewel of Kelowna. Amazing food and nice collection of books. If you visit kelowna then must visit here. Do try avocado toast , carrot cake. Good service and nice staff.
Definitely the best nitro cold brew in town! If you are looking for the most unique coffee shop in town this is definitely it. From the pulp fiction posters, to the hundreds of vintage books, to the antique shop inside the coffee shop, you won't find another spot like this one.
Staff are the best plus they have grounds for coffee cinnamon buns!
I love the classic coffee shop style. It gives a great working atmosphere and they have workstations for people's laptops too
The croissant sammies are to die for! This is an amazing place, but be careful of the bookstore area.. you might find yourself losing two hours of your day going through probably only half of the rare/old books. I love this place and would tell anyone visiting Kelowna to check it out!
Espresso milkshakes...... need I say more? This place is great. All around awesome coffee and service.
Awesome place and incredible sandwiches. The guys were about to close, but they stayed just a little more and made us feel at home. Many many thanks.
I love pulp fiction. if you have a chance to talk to the owner Max do it! he's a gem! definitely the best coffee house in kelowna
Pulp Fiction Coffee House, a wonder on the corner of Pandosy St! I've visited Pulp Fiction before, but today I took the time to sit down for a drink and truly take in the atmosphere of the coffee house/bookstore. Filled with 50 years worth of collected novels and antiques, Pulp Fiction is a timeless escape from the busyness of the day to day. Upon entering you will be transported back to a 1950's style diner, fitted with leather bar stools and gleaming table tops. The staff is warm and friendly, adding to the ambiance of a location unchanged by the world around it. Once you're finished your blended matcha, let the soft melody of The Platters carry you through the iron gates of Robbie Rare Books, where you will find novel titles and authentic memorabilia that date back to the 1920's! With delicious food and drink options for any mood, and a book to go with it, the Pulp Fiction Coffee House is a must see in downtown Kelowna!
One of my favourite coffee shops in town, my second office and where the bulk of my meetings are.
What a great little coffee shop and of course the books!!
This is by far my favourite coffee shop, and I have never found one like it since! Their espresso milkshake is honestly to die for, and their baristas are so welcoming.
Max has created an amazingly mixed atmosphere that includes coffee, tea, a great menu and many specialty items, along with the antique shop all in one place with the World's largest collection of antique bookends... so amazing !
Good vibe, nice coffee and staff. Has a diner style tables, loads of books and posters that set the tone. ????
Excellent coffee. Fantastic retro vibe with bookroom!!
Wow! Fascinating rare book shop with beautiful antiques. The coffee shop is cute and retro. Definitely somewhere I would visit frequently. Friendly staff.
Great to see variety in hot and cold beverages, friendly staff convenient location.
Loved this place. Coffee and snacks were delicious. So much fun to browse in the book shop as well. Hard to resist buying all the books! Such a fun spot!
I used to love coming to Pulp fiction when i lived in Kelowna from 2017 to 2019. It was my first time back visiting from Montreal, returned july 26-27-28 every afternoon, my favorite coffee shop in Kelowna. The girl at the counter (dark …
Such great service and lovely atmosphere. Kelowna’s absolutely best coffee house.
Best coffeeshop ever. Immediately upon walking up the owner handed us 3 free milk shake samples and an iced coffee sample (espresso milk shake is amazing). When you sit down, you are doing so amongst rows and rows of old pulp fiction novels. I could spend hours at a time here. Also, the most impressive book end collection in N. America.
Neat decor and good coffee, prefer to have coffee in ceramic mugs when I am sitting in.
Nice flaky croissant with a good amount of bacon, eggs, & cheese in the middle. Kombucha was really good. Antiques & old books create a neat atmosphere. (4/5)
really delicious food, best special breakfast place i've ever been to in kelowna! the sandwiches and croissants are delicious, i recommend them for sure ;)
I know this could be an unpopular opinion, but I just don't get this place. I don't understand the vibe. I could probably get over that if the coffee blew me away, but honestly, it's nothing to write about. Better coffee, better environments can be found all over Kelowna - sorry guys. Just don't understand what the hype is about.
Incredible! You would never know there's a vintage library in here! One of Kelowna's greatest treasures.
I recently bought their medium roast coffee beans and it's fantastic.
Great coffee and atmosphere!
One of my favorite cups of coffee in kelowna. They make those americanos strong and I love it! Very cool retro atmosphere too.
The way they butter and grill their muffins - you gotta try one! Coffee is fantastic, their food is incredible, and the environment is always bustling.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Coffee came out and stayed hot. Lots of different drink and food options. Reasonably priced.
This place has such a neat atmosphere. The books, the old artwork, the old music.if you're looking for a good cup of coffee and a neat place to sit. This is a great little spot.
Pretentious and snooty. Plus the coffee was sub par. I had a better experience at the McDonald’s drive thru.
Really enjoyed the diner atmosphere and the strawberry banana milkshake we ordered was wonderful. Great menu selection! The only drawbacks were we felt the food could have been a bit more reasonably priced, and our paninis came out from the kitchen nearly 10mins apart.
Awesome place with friendly environment. The food was also great.....????
Come here for the atmosphere, enjoy the coffee! Really great in all areas. It is a must visit when in Kelowna
Very cool coffee shop , great friendly staff and great coffee :-) ohh and very tasty cinnamon buns
Lovely staff. Very polite and cheerful. Great chai lattes and blended drinks.
One of the best coffees I've had in my life. Too bad I had to move away.
THE best coffeehouse in Kelowna. Atmosphere is amazing....and great Americanos and baked stuff????
It is a very interesting place with all the artwork and is attached to an antique store/museum. They also have a really nice poodle (Robbie) who hangs out in the museum and is very friendly. I ordered a cappuccino which was great and my wife was very happy with her latte. The baked goods looked quite good but didn't try any.
Awesome coffee shop! Feels like a bookstore with a classic coffee shop vibe. Very relaxing, good coffee, and a good selection of pastries.
Great coffee super cool old school experience ???? it very unique definitely go check it out
Best coffee in Town! Hands down. And the staff are super friendly. If you add more gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free options to your display case I will be your most loyal fan!
The coffee choices are fantastic and the atmosphere is like nothing else in Kelowna. The shop is filled with amazing items from around the world, primarily pulp fiction and other fantastic antique novels.
Very friendly staff and great atmosphere!
Really lovely coffee and the staff here are great! Thanks for offering hand sanitizer and abiding by the current sanitary requirements!
Poor customer service. I ordered the “power ballS” however the actual dish is just one single overpriced “power” ball. The menu literally uses the plural form and when we asked the guy at the desk (older guy so maybe the owner?) about this he tried joking around with us about “balls” and acted like it didn’t matter. Didn’t even say sorry or ask if we wanted something instead of this. I hope the 50 cents they saved was worth losing me and my friends as customers.
Great coffee and cinnamon buns. It smelled like old books but that is to be expected.
Pulp Fiction is a cozy place to connect with people in your world. I often will grab a beverage to stay, the cafe feels warm and inviting, and who doesn't love looking at old books. Very quirky, but that's a good thing. Great for someone who's looking to relax, or take a high quality drink to go. The kombucha is amazing, not made in house, but they have selected a couple really nice brands to represent.
Beautiful spot. Coffee is incredible! Highly recommended.
One of my favorite coffee shops, fantastic smoothies, lavender lemonade, and brilliant atmosphere.
One of my favorite spots in town to focus and be inspired. Great, nostalgic music and atmosphere. Great coffee and good food selection.
Good drinks. Wish I could have seen more but a section is closed due to covid.
Really neat place that nails the theme. Music, decor, and great service.
This place is awesome! Great drinks, food, vibe
Such a unique coffee shop. Probably the best shop to read a book at that I have been to. They are slinging 49th Parallel beans, which if you know anything are ????. Great shop; must stop.
This is hands down, one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been to. Not only are the drinks fantastic, but the cookies... oh my. That's only the beginning, the book store is AMAZING. The guy who owns it has the most eclectic and interesting collection of antiques and books. I could spend hours just wandering the little hallways. He has a few rooms in the back, and if you're lucky enough to get there at the right time he might even open them up for you. Those rooms are the absolute hidden gems of this place, there is an entire room dedicated to antique pin up art, sooo awesome.
Best coffee hands down and don’t leave without ordering a Kombucha.
This is one of the best places, period! Great cappuccinos and milkshakes, and a unique "pulp fiction" setting. So many unique books and collectibles that you'd have a hard time finding anywhere else. Check it out, you'll be glad you did.
Pretentious and good place for book lovers.. Foods are not as good as the price and the look..
A unique gem of a themed coffee shop that actually delivers excellent coffee!
Nice little coffee shop. Offering kombucha and pretty much every beverage you could want.
Interesting place, love the atmosphere! The coffee is pretty good, but I usually have one of their great loose leaf teas. There is a 'rare' book store and plenty of reading material! If you happen to be allergic to dogs, this is not the place for you, as there is a bear-sized, super docile and friendly dog that lives in the book store section of this place.
Finally awesome coffee in Kelowna. Great and friendly service. Food selection was a little on the light side, however the coffee and friendly staff made up for it. Nice vibe also!
What a nice place! Cool atmosphere and the food was delicious. Loved the avocado toast with the egg!
Awesome atmosphere. Great place to read, eat or simply enjoy the extensive book collection they have. The staff were also amazing. 10/10
A hidden gem. A shop full of treasures that you can get lost in for hours. Friendly staff and good coffee.
Best coffee shop in Kelowna with a cute poodle and amazing bookstore in the shop!
It's ok...out of the way but perfectly located. Great staff...good room...it's always fun to feel like you're sitting in someone elses living room... having a coffee...and just hanging out...
Very cool little spot!
Good coffee and place for a bite and a bit of pop culture. Really captured a vibe and made. It their own.
An enjoyable experience in nice surroundings. The Pulp Fiction books and artwork add an authenticity to the coffee shop, which is nice. The little antique store is worth a visit and a great browse. Robbie the dog is super cool. The staff are really, really nice too.
Amazing atmosphere! Wonderful and tasty drinks and a great variety of snacks!
Interesting and funky decors. Excellent coffee.
Nice place and ok snacks.
One of the best local coffee shops in kelowna. Baristas are friendly, the theme is flawless and robbie is the best
WOOOOW!! if you plan to visit Kelowna , you MUST visit this coffee shop! It’s not just a normal coffee shop, it’s a time tunnel and take you to 1980’s! 100% recommended!
Good food, good coffee. A nice little Local coffee shop with lots of antique stuff.
A funky local coffee shop with friendly staff and cool books.
50s dinner style combined with one of the coolest book stories I've ever seen . Clearly these guys 'get it' - great atmosphere and a perfect cup of coffee... Forty ninth parallel.
Amazing place!! The sweetest owner!! Highly recommended!!
Unique spot with an amazing aesthetic. Good selection of books, drinks & food. The staff is superb.
Good coffee, friendly service.
One of a kind! Great coffee and such an amazing collection of old books and magazines. Wonderful place.
Very nice staff, cheap drinks!
Just absolutely love this place. It really takes you back! They have clearly worked so hard to make this place as special as it is. Staff is amazing, coffee is delicious and food is fresh! Could sit in here for hours and admire all the details.
Great coffee, great service, amazing bookstore and delicious baked goods!! Oh ya, cool art too!!☮️❤️
Coffee to die for but the old book smell is a bit much for someone with asthma. 5 star for services still.
Excellent coffee and great staff combined with cool music. Nice relaxing start to the morning....
They’ve got some good sandwiches and they serve a great coffee.. ????????
Great coffee and treats. Love the decor and vibe.
Phenomenal service! Coffee was superb...worth the extra half block walk from Starbucks.
Always great service and delicious coffees
Great food/drinks to enjoy with your new book, after you say hi to the pup next door.
Great coffee, excellent sandwiches, delicious desserts. My faves are the espresso milkshake, the Chloe croissant sandwich and the squirrelly bar!
Food was good buty unfortunately the staff attitude was like if they were forced to be there and it was our fault that we decided to enjoy breakfast there.
I really love this place. The atmosphere is retro and interesting; really like nowhere you've been before. The staff are kind and helpful and the drink/food quality is excellent. The rare bookstore inside is a real gem with some wonderful finds and the shop dog Robbie is adorable and sweet. The only issue I might take is that the cafe is rather wifi un-friendly with poor connectivity and a somewhat aggressive attitude toward long stays. That's honestly fine by me as it there are plenty of other places to go for that kind of stay and it encourages me to read here or meet friends for a coffee.
Awesome coffee shop plus a cool bookstore - what's not to love?! The coffee is outstanding, the earl grey tea latte is heaven in a cup, the grilled blueberry muffin with butter is fabulous, the croissant sandwiches are delicious... I could go on and on but basically you won't have anything bad to eat or drink here. Plus the customer service and atmosphere are fantastic!
Always delicious beverages, great staff and awesome vintage atmosphere.
Some of the best breakfast sandwiches I've eaten in town. Sure is a step up from the cardboardwiches they serve at timmies.
Beautiful place! The place looks like it came out of an antique book. The chai tea tasted amazing. Will revisit!
Friendly staff, unique and quirky atmosphere, great coffee!
The staff are exceptionally nice, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is the most amazing part. It feels great to be in there, and as I said before, the staff only make it better. The owners couldn't be nicer!
Great find. The staff are super friendly, the coffee is fantastic. Had to make sure we stopped here again on the way back through Kelowna. By any standard, this is a nice spot. Really surprised at this place, offer snacks and food. Wonderful place to just chill out.
By far my favorite coffee shop in Kelowna! So much to see and such good food????
The smell of antiquities(the aged books), music, coffee, the fluffy dog, perfect place to relax!! ????☕????
Loved everything about this place. They have good coffee, friendly employees, interesting decor, and clean bathrooms. Also free wifi and long hours. I'll visit any time I'm in Kelowna.
Best soup in Kelowna and excellent service!! Chicken confit ramen with added egg...to die for
Great coffee and some delicious snacks. Found myself there pretty much every time I was downtown.
Stellar breakfast. Great coffee. Really cool vibe to the place including the step back in time with the vintage books and memorabilia.
Amazing amazing amazing. As a coffee snob, I have to say this spot really surprised me and now stands as one of the best. Wicked nice staff and great atmosphere makes the experience even better. Grilled muffin is the cherry on top. Really can't wait to go back when I visit Kelowna.
Best cold brew coffee I have ever had! Wish there was a bigger size.
Great coffee house. Staff are awesome. Cold brew is one of the best.
They have a nice seating area and books on their bookshelf that people can read. Also some vintage-like posters. I tried the italian soda and it was very good. :)
Love this unique and eccentric coffee shop. So many things to explore inside, cute little puppy, and wonderful food and drinks. I could spend lots of time in here
I would go here every single day if I could afford it! Favourite coffee shop in Kelowna. Fantastic location, great vibe, staff are always super kind, helpful and friendly. Definitely a must-visit :)
Absolutely love this atmosphere and location! Always kind employees and accommodating. Highly recommend anyone to go check this gem out????????
Delicious breakfast croissant. Coffee is good. Excellent service and funky. bookshop
Curious and unique, part coffee shop, part antique bookstore. Nice ambiance.
Such a cool cafe, I love going here to grab a drink and read a book
Really neat coffee shop downtown. Great atmosphere. Lots to look at while you sip on a tasty drink.
Atmosphere and style. Quaint and old timey with solid coffew shop fare.
Great coffee, food and atmosphere. Found my go-to when I pass through town.
Neat atmosphere, remarkably good lattes and capuccinos and phenomenal cinnamon buns. They also have creme of earl grey tea - which is pretty much the best tea ever...
Fabulous place great coffee atmosphere- lots of books and antiques
Love it, great coffee.
Cute barista and gave a great recommendation!
Came here after I finished eating ramen at Wasabi Izakaya across the street. Had the espresso milkshake and I'm still thinking about it. I probably could've drank 10 of them.
Great place with an awesome array of hot/cold drinks. I stop by everytime I'm visiting Kelowna
Really cute place! I love old movies and books so that alone was really freaking awesome. And they have dairy free and soy free milk options! So was even able to get a coffee.
friendly staff, unique and cozy vibe, cool book collection and theme. I enjoyed the matcha smoothie a lot!
Super quaint book and curiosities store with a cafe inside. They sell used pulp fiction novels and have a large collection. Worth a visit if you're passing through. The coffee was good too!
Unique place. Friendly staff. Tasty coffees.
My fiancé and I were in the area for the day and had stumbled upon this Hidden Gem. We were looking for a place for a quick place to grab a bite to eat before heading out. Pulp Fiction was a great place with great food and drinks! Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to grab and go.
Unique atmosphere, friendly staff, great coffee, kombucha on tap and the shop has a resident dog(Robbie)
Pulp Fiction is always my favorite coffee place. It has great caramel macchiatos and the environment and staff is wonderful. The owner is super nice and the antique store is definitely something you should see. BRING BACK OPEN MIC YEAR ROUND.
I was passing through Kelowna recently and dropped in to Pulp Fiction Coffee because I read that they served 49th Parallel coffee. I found the staff very friendly. This is where the good part ends. I like 49th Parallel coffee so this is why I chose Pulp Fiction. My wife got a to-go Pulp Fiction roasted coffee and I got an Americano 49th. I wanted to buy some 49th roasted beans to go but found the $24.00/ib price way too expensive. I buy green beans and roast my own coffee so I know that green beans cost from $5.00 to $8.00 per lb to buy. I am used to paying upto $19.00 per lb for roasted coffee and that seems expensive to me. After we left the shop I tried my coffee and it was surprisingly weak and not at all what I am used to for an americano. I tried my wife's coffee and it was so over roasted it just left that acrid burnt-toast taste in my mouth that I so often find at places like Starbucks. This was a very disappointing experience for me. When we arrived in William's Lake we got coffee at the Gecko Tree coffee shop and I got a 49th Parallel americano and bought a pound of roasted 49th. The americano was great and full bodied like I am used to and the beans cost $16.50. I have no Idea what Pulp Fiction is doing gouging people for the price of the coffee and I will not revisit the shop.
This was actually one of my favorite places to visit in all of Kelowna, the coffee was amazing and inside i found the most interesting decor and an antique/used book/vintage art store... amazing!
When main meal came waitresses noticed immediately that the kitchen disregarded the no onions on the beef dip, and apologized took it back and within a few min came back with new meal. Meat was tender and lots of flavour. The garlic Parmesan poutine the garlic wasn't overpowering and same with Parmesan .
Cool little shop with a nice atmosphere. Books everywhere and nice calming music ! They have a couple little booths for you to do work in, with power bars and fast wifi. Nice little place to relax and grab a cup of coffee.
Really high quality coffee place
Breakfast was nice, coffee was mediocre. Prices were above average.
Awesome atmosphere, delicious coffee and food. A must-visit if you happen to be in the area
Great little coffee shop!
Great service, excellent coffee. Fun little coffee/book shop with free (really fast) WiFi
Good food. Great coffee. Nice staff. Highly recommended it.
Great atmosphere, friendly baristas, clean, cozy and delicious coffee. Incredibly cool that there's a library and antique store inside. This was our second stop in town and it was a great place to unwind and caffeinate.
You will not regret the experience but it is getting busier as more learn it's secrets. Fine coffee and snacks. Avoid the peak times and relax..
Love their nitro cold brew. Very interesting decor, such friendly staff and owner. Wil come back, this is like a staple of kelowna
Would rate lower if i could, treats staff like dirt.
The best coffee we had in Canada! They have an Australian barista who is simply put- a wizard from Aus! He knows his coffee and knows how to make it well, even for those of us who have specific tastes. The place itself has a great vibe, very relaxed and welcoming.
Great place by far the coolest coffee shop drinks and the only place over been to in Kelowna with good kombucha on tap
Unique cafe with great coffee
Fascinating decor, quality beverages and small eats. However proximity of some seating can make it tight at times.
Service: great. Coffee: delicious. Food: flavourful. Barista was welcoming, ensured our coffees we exactly what we wanted from the size of my cappuccino to how much foam I would like. We ordered a medium cappuccino, an iced americano, 2 sausage rolls and a rocky road square. Our total was $20.16. The barista commented how that was soooo 4 years ago (hilarious!). Sausage rolls were delivered to our table. The meat was so flavourful and the flaky pastry just melted in my mouth. They have seats inside and outside. There is a hand sanitizer at the front door and the barista will kindly ask you to use it if she’s notices you haven’t. Great spot to lounge and sip coffee or grab and go.
Awesome coffee!!! Great staff! Always love going for morning bean juice????
Quality coffee and snacks, friendly service, the antique book store is cool too!
Very good coffee. Had a breakfast croissant which was very tasty. Really loved the decor and the shop. I finally learned what inspired the name and the history.
The perfect blend of malt shop style with the authentic smell of books, vintage style art work, collectable books, and good food. I can personally recommend the florentine, the Montreal Sandwich and Croissant Sammy.
We visit every year we are in Kelowna. Love Robbies books and the coffee is great.
Lovley shop with a large selection of drinks. Try the red rooibos!
My favourite coffee shop in town! Absolutely love the atmosphere, coffee and food!
Very neat and unique coffee place, loved my turmeric spiced latte and cinnamon bun
A pretty cool find! Definitely a unique place with great coffee!
Malta expresso milkshake just WOW amazing! I will be back I must try your cold brew!????
Great staff and atmosphere!
My husband and I love the Cappuccinos here
Great chai latte! Highly recommend. Although, the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere than there. Service left much to be desired.
Long been one of our favorites and for many reasons. Great coffee, teas, food, service, and local and national newspapers at the ready but then comes the “WOW” factor. The owner Max Sloan is an authority on antique and rare books. Once you’ve had your coffee wander through the side and back rooms for a truly magnificent and delightful experience. Take your time - it’s like a museum / curio shop. Thousands of volumes both hardcovered and paperback to peruse and buy if you like along with all manner of antique artifacts. Max is almost always there to answer questions or just have a friendly conversation. A Kelowna Icon. Do not miss this one if your are touring the Okanagan but if you’re a local and haven’t given it a try don’t wait. You will not be disappointed.
We went as a family on a busy day. While some of the food items ordered did take a while, the was space made for us at a table and it felt like everyone knew each other. I will be back.
Stumbled upon this place as my boyfriend adores pop culture. Was so impressed and surprised. What looks so unassuming from the outside is an incredible treasure trove of history and creative delicious drinks. The owner is so dedicated to his business and his staff follow his lead. Great food and coffee and such a unique and amazing atmosphere.
This caffe is very unique. It's combined with an antique shop. The decor is movie retro and there is seating outside. We had the cinnamon bun and it was to die for. Definitely recommend this place.
Interesting place. Good coffee . Only issue is they ask if you will be using tap as payment. If you say yes, they charge you extra. Would have been better to let the public know before they do that. It is a bit sketch. More disclosure would have been better.
Robbie and his doggo af Robbie's Rare Books were very helpful, and his book collection truly is amazing. The ladies at the counter were also very kind.
Really neat spot. Sweets were awesome, especially the macadamia cookies. If your into books there are sure to be some gems for you there also.
The staff are amazing, so friendly and they make the best coffee in town. Drop by once and it will become your favourite coffee house. Comfortable, cozy, non-rushed, topped off with exceptional food and drink choices and Staff that really care. Locally owned and operated and just way way better than the big corporate coffee shops!
Charming store with amazing coffee, a must visit!
Cool coffee shop! Had a fantastic Cappuccino and they had lots of vegan cookies and treats. The ginger molasses cookies are the bomb digity ! Very cool atmosphere and great service.
Great place to read old books and drink some coffee or tea
Honestly gorgeous. I Had a lavender lemonade, and my partner had the salted caramel nitro cold brew. Both were amazing.
Very nice Coffee House. I love this style.
Great atmosphere, with nice decor! Latte was great!
The cafe itself is absolutely amazing, tastefully designed and has a real vintage vibe. Prices I guess are what you would expect in most city centres. However, poor customer service and not all employees are polite.
Quirky cafe with amazing coffee in downtown. Connected to a super cool bookstore, this is a Kelowna must!
Very very good espresso! Great service! Super cute aesthetic!
Iced Americanos were served with no ice and were like warm. I couldn't finish it
Cool unique coffee shop. Great atmosphere and delicious espresso! Recommend.
Probably the best coffee in town. Pastries are fresh and reasonably priced. Globe and Mail paper for reading. Outside chairs in the shade. Inside has retro atmosphere. Huge antique and rare book collection. We drive all the way across town just to have coffee and a treat here.
Had two really bad americanos. Tasted burnt. Maybe the temp was set to high. Must have been, since all the other reviews say the coffee is delicious. Place looked cool!
Good food, good coffee, and an excellent selection of interesting and rare older books. Very fun atmosphere.
Wonderful little coffee shop with a genuine pulp book theme. Books line the walls, hits from a bygone era fill the air. I had a medium blend coffee with a pick-me-up bar and found a quiet corner to read some legal documents (scintillating reading, let me tell you). Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
Delicious food and Coffee. Friendly staff ♥️
A gem in the heart of downtown Kelowna. Coffee is great, service is friendly. Highly recommend checking out the rare book and antique 'shop within a shop' inside.
What a neat coffee shop...a step back into my grandmas' time...love the decor, the music and the service is so welcoming!!!!
Very cool coffee/book store.
Excellent atmosphere and homemade food, highly recommended!
Fabulous coffee shop...baked treats are awesome too!
Very original coffee shop. Great food and drink too.
A hidden gem if you love books. We didn't try their food but the unique antique bookstore is a must.
Good flat white coffee. They did heat my apple fritter too much, made some tough spots in it. Very nice staff.
Delightful downtown coffeeshop/antique book shop. Step through the gate into a separate room to pet a very gentle standard poodle puppy! While surrounded by all sorts of antique typewriters and books and odd furnishings. This place is delightful to peruse and pass away some free time. The food and coffee is decent too.
Fantastic coffee with a old ear vibe. The Bakery offers very tasty treats as well. As well be sure to visit Robbie's Rare Books when you are here to see the endless treasures the owner has found.
What an experience!!!! You get inside the book store with authentic collectible fiction books and post cards and order tasty coffee, cold brew, nitrogen coffee, home made ice-tea. I also tried their sweets -very good. This place is more than a coffee shop, it is an EXPERIENCE in the best meaning of the word.
Had a great iced maple Canadiano here. Really nice interior design
Fantastic coffee and service. The atmospear here is very unique and relaxing. A must check out place in kelowna!
Delicious tea and coffee options, with many treats (try the “pick me up bar”), with a cute rare bookstore. A must visit place if you are just passing by Kelowna, like us.
God coffee and good service
Cool looking place. Coffee was not great. Had a mocha. The chocolate flavor overpowered the taste of coffee. Good taste of chocolate though... Good quality
Cute little coffee shop. Good food. Great coffee. Nice vibe
Very cool "hip hole in the wall" artistic grunge vibe.the lavender lemonade is perfection here, really chill hangout space and patio
Fantastic service!! Great coffee!!
Excellent hot and cold drinks, and a very cool atmosphere. Relaxed, comfortable and more books than you can shake a stick at. Good sandwiches and soups as well
I usually come here 3-5 Times a week for my morning coffee and the other day I had the WORST experience from one of the employees. She gave me attitude and almost spilled my coffee on me when I asked for it in a to-go cup. She handed me the coffee which half spilt on the counter and gave me a glare. I asked her to please fill the cup to the top and she glared at me again. I went to get a lid and she then proceeded to talk about me to her other employee. I will not be spending my money here again and you can be sure people will be hearing about this. The blonde with the glasses has the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
I love it. Good food and nice people.
Lovely little spot with great antiques
Absolutely loved this place. Coffee was good, atmosphere makes you feel like you are in the 1940s, and great staff. Highly recommend this place if you are in Kelowna.
