I went to this Cafe quite a few times and it is always been a ‘hit and miss’ experience. The first few times it was mainly good but it was really depending on the barista. Lately I have asked for warm coffee (kids hot) rather than regular hot as I wanted to drink it right away. Well it was either ignored or like today the barista lady (brown hair) called out “caramelcita kids hot” and yes you guessed it, it burnt the tip of my tongue not to mention the coffee wasn’t good at all. It’s quite disappointing as the other lady (red hair, younger women) who mostly there is very nice and makes good coffee and the place has a very cozy atmosphere.

Food prices are the same as every other Cafe with the price of minimum wage rising. they make the muffins, soup, and specials all in house with fresh ingredients. Their staff is amazing, you can tell there are many trainees though, with that you know you have to be patient as they are just learning. There cherry Hill coffee is the best I've ever had and the place feels so homey. I don't go anywhere else. Brunch is amazing there, and is always fast, even when it's busy you usually are looking at only a 10+ minute wait. Lines usually out the door, don't know how the staff do it.

Being a chain the menu is pretty consistent with other Joey locations. What isn't is the service and we were treated very well. To me, a sign of good service is how they treat the elderly and the way our server treated my grandparents was spectacular.

Cozy little spot in Kelowna. This is a special place in our town. I love how it feels very personal and not at all like a chain. They have an amazing case full of yummy treats and savoury items. They makes some really nice drinks and smoothies as well. You must order at the counter and then find a seat, there is no ordering from the table. This is a great place to visit to get the local feel for our cool town. It is attached to the most adorable little store called Blue Ginger. You are sure to find a little treasure in there! They also have a beautiful selection of cards.

Warmest welcomes, tucked away in such a cozy li'l corner of the street. The aroma of fresh baked goods, and home cooked meals make walking through their doors feel like I'm coming home. I tried their curry pumpkin soup, and dipped my apricot chutney goat cheese crepe into it while enjoying such a lovely visit with a dear friend. Topped it off with a mug of London Fog tea, that was made so beautifully. Highly recommend visiting, again and again and again. Five stars across the board for their friendly staff, superb delectacies, and colourful atmosphere. Lovely art on all the walls as well, along with some special gift ideas for friends and family. Drop by sometime, and enjoy.

This is one of those hip looking cafes that looks like a cafe out of Nelson. It's nice and cozy inside and the staff are very friendly! Same price range as Starbucks, but I'd say they have a more unique drinks menu. Their foods are tasty and they take their time to craft your drink and prepare your food. I usually have their Matcha latte, and it's my fave out of most cafes in Kelowna.

First of all this Cafe is full of character, it's got a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I Definitely enjoyed my visit here as the breakfast food was excellent; as was the coffee. The only reason I deducted a star is that the parking surrounding it can be a nightmare and the shop can be quite busy that it is hard to find a spot to sit (but this is definitely a sign of the quality of the food) The lunch foods are wonderful, and if you're wandering the Pandosy area I'd say it's a must go to place, grab a muffin and coffee and go wander over a few blocks to the lake.

The only reason for giving a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star was because the service as very slow!! We waited at least 35 min for our breakfast, then there was no cutlery! I do recommend, just don't be in a hurry.

I was the first one and only one in the cafe this morning. I was purchasing breakfast for my Celiac son and asked what they could do gluten free and vegetarian. I know this place and at one time they had some great gluten free alternatives.Nice Bread, muffins, wraps etc. The older man with an accent told me I could have water!!! If I had been the hungry tourist with Celiac and was given this insulting answer I would have been devastated. As it was i still went ahead with the order. Tamie and her team over at Marmalade Cat Cafe are some of the loveliest people you will ever meet. My fiance and I are from Calgary, and just got married in Kelowna a few days ago, and Tamie and her bakers were a huge part of our day. It's not often that they cater to weddings, but we feel so incredibly lucky to have had their eats and treats on our day! We had a very odd request, as we were hoping to have snacks provided for guests during our tea ceremony, lunch for ourselves and for the special people staying with us at our venue AND for desserts for our reception, and maybe a small cake for cutting. Marmalade Cat MORE than met our needs, and were so friendly, easy to deal with, and fantastic with their suggestions for our requests. We trusted them every step of the way, and when the day came, they were even able to deliver them to our venue like ninjas. My fiance and I never got a chance to see them on the day, but they went out of their way to help us with all the little things like providing napkins in our wedding colors. :) Our guests RAVED about all the food (and we have some picky picky eaters and foodies from near and far!) and we can attest that everything was delicious and more than we expected. Our little cake was so lovey, and so unexpected! We were just thinking of a small, simple cake with nothing fancy, and they went above and beyond with some small flowers and sugar pearls in our wedding colors and it was so much bigger than I thought it would be! And it was the BEST carrot cake we've ever had. I can't say enough amazing things about this little cafe. We went to visit them and say hello and a personal thank you. The coffee/tea was great as well and all the staff was pleasant and the cafe was buzzing with many happy customers. I would highly recommend Marmalade Cat Cafe as a stop if you're in Kelowna. Grab a coffee and a bite to eat, you won’t be disappointed. Big big thank you again to Marmalade for making our day so awesome!

Something has changed here. Used to really enjoy this place. My oat milk latte tasted like water (not creamy or foamed at all)… and the pastry I bought was literally soaking wet when I unwrapped it from the plastic wrap. Very disappointed. I spent $12 and I couldn’t even consume it. Go elsewhere if you’re going for a latte and a pastry.

Wonderful, cozy locally owned cafe. I don't frequent the Marmalade Car Cafe enough. Everytime I go there, I ask myself "why don't I come here more often"? The local art on the walls, all their fresh made baked goods and wonderful coffees. This is a great place to come for lunch or just meet a friend for a morning chat and have a coffee. Not As Advertised Review photos have many, many photos of Eggs Benedict and all sorts of delicious looking breakfasts. What they don’t tell you, that is only their Sunday Brunch menu. I live in the neighborhood and frequent here but I've noticed a sharp decline in quality, today I ordered a roast beef wrap that was 7$ for half and was soggy and tasted like nothing but cream cheese, with this was chicken soup that I garentee was just soup made of all the left overs they have had over the last two days and possible made purely of salt, the iced latte I need to wash down this terrible food was so bitter I need another bite of the awful soup to get the taste out on my mouth I hope the owners see this and do something to bring up the quality and effort

I am very disappointed with the service I received today. Reading past reviews would make anyone want to visit, I just wish I could say the same. Sometimes when the food is overpriced it’s okay because hopefully, there is something that balances out the cost(great service, amazing and high quality food, mesmerizing local art, etc.) The food we received was in ridiculously small portions, and a certain staff member was quite unwelcoming. It almost felt as if we were targeted for our race. Glancing at the other guests who were having a lovely time, I realized they all had something in common... skin colour. Now my mother was kind enough to give this lady(brown hair in a bun with glasses) the benefit of doubt( for she could have been having a not so great day). Yet It almost felt as if I had committed a crime for the way she glared at me was full of hatred. The two stars in which I have decided to give are stars of hope. I am hoping that something here will change. If this café does promote racism, then I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

My husband and I were looking for a small early lunch to share. We decided to try this place as it looked charming. We chose to share a black forest ham sandwich and each got a coffee as well. The sandwich was fast and fresh. It was balanced perfectly with fresh toppings and just the right amount of ham. The whole wheat bread was fresh and delicious as well. The coffee was outstanding and the ambience is charming with a wonderfully local vibe. I can't wait to visit again and try more of what they have to offer.

Returned here for breakfast, visiting from out of town, no doubt many clientele were. We ordered two breakfasts with eggs, toast, turkey bacon and coffee. We asked if they had pork bacon or sausage they said no, we replied that the turkey bacon was fine. Our breakfast arrived without it, up to this point we had a great experience.bht the kitchen staff brought our food without bacon and when we brought that to their attention, they left to figure out what happened Our breakfast sat getting cold until she returned and said the till gal misunderstood and didn't change us for bacon, they could go back and prepare some (by which time the eggs and toast would have been fridge temperature) but they would also have to charge us for it. I eat out all the time, this is one of the worst ways I've ever seen a staff handle their own problem. Rather than fight about the hassle, we said forget it and just ate our now cold, not filling or great $20 breakfast and left very disappointed.
