Bean Scene has been the best coffee in the Okanagan for over 20 years. This is a great place and location. I didn't give 5 stars because I know what was in this location before. An old book store owned by the first horder I ever met and wow was it ever nasty in there. This is just me thou. I can't get the image of what I saw in there way back in highschool it of my head.

I absolutely love this place. Menu is simple but drinks are good and the baristas have been very friendly. The atmosphere in general is great, especially upstairs in what they call "grandma's house" - more seating including a room with a table for larger semi private gatherings. Highly recommend for long conversations. Try the vegan Mexican chocolate cookie or the peppermint seasonal cookie if they have it - they're standouts.

Always been my favourite place to study just off the college it is very cute and quaint to come here often has art from local artists that they feature every week or so and I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. However when it gets really busy it is hard to study as a lot of people come here to meet friends but when you come here during the slow times around times when kids are in school then it gets quite nice to study with

Sustainability training/policy. Not sure if this is a policy or staff training issue but when I order “to stay” I expect cup and plate not paper. Not the first time at this location. Please try to be more sustainable and go 100% reusable unless customer is leaving the premises.

Coffee is great, snacks are good, staff are rude. I’ve been here a few times and every time the staff are so miserable. And don’t ever ask them to alter your drink, eg. single shot or cappuccino in anything other than a 6oz. I keep going back to give it a chance and always leave feeling gross. Avoiding from now on.

Seating is quite limited at this location. But if you find a spot to sit in this old converted house, it's a really cozy place to enjoy a hot drink on a cold day. They have couches upstairs to get even cozier. Great coffee. Baked goods are just okay. Tea selection from Chai Baba is nice.

Snobby staff does it for me and sets the mood. Maybe they were understaffed in the morning. Don't know why that is my problem as a customer. :-) The Americano was great and as was the vegan chocolate cookie. But overall a good place to chill.

I go here almost every afternoon and there's always a girl who is talking to herself and swearing at others. She clearly makes the staff and everyone else in the building uncomfortable. Aside from that this place is great, but I don't want to go here anymore because of it so might find somewhere else to go from now on.

Beautiful fall day walking around Pandosy, stoped into Bean Scene for a coffee. I worked in the coffee industry for 12 years and never have I had such an amazing cup of coffee. The milk steamed to perfection… the espresso shots sweet and not bitter…all places together and finished with a lovely have a good day! Thank you for making me smile!

Very cozy atmosphere. It's basically an old house reconstructed into a cafe. The upstairs has plenty of old couches and seating, and offers unique views of Pandosy street. However, I paid like $6 for one tea, and there isn't a menu or price board so it really is a guessing game. Sure they have drip coffee and espresso, but what else? Do they have matcha? Chai? What are the prices? You don't know until you order.

Did not feel welcomed at all. Everyone understands the nature of COVID policies, but we had a terrible encounter. We followed a staff member carrying stock into the cafe and weirdly she made sure to close the door behind her in front of our faces. Not a word. When we went in, the barista yelled at us saying they were at capacity. There’s a million ways to be nicer about it. We took our business across the street to Bread Co.

Bean Scene is a great spot to stop and pick up a coffee either morning, noon or afternoon. They really have a great selection of coffee which seems freshly roasted and of high quality and flavor. I only drink decaf so it's quite difficult to find a good brew and blend. These folks have definitely got it right.

It's the new kid in Pandosy Village, and very welcome! I really appreciate the beautiful renos on the building. The patio is where it's at for dog parents like me... our giant Wolfhound loves hanging out on the broad sidewalk while we enjoy a cappuccino. Thanks for offering a great pet-friendly space!

Outstanding coffee, great service. Just like the other Bean Scenes. Great decor gives it a homely feel but still 'beaten up' enough that you can relax there. A small side room has plenty of seating booths with individual lights and power outlets, there is an upstairs too. Great location.

Why would this location of the Bean Scene sell day old baked goods . Apparently they bring in the evening from their main location all their pastries wrap them in plastic and sell them as fresh . We had two cafes in Vancouver and would donate to the homeless left over baked goods

Cool vibe, like the others spaces. I’d say is was closer to the feel of the landmark one than downtown, but that makes sense given how the ownership works. I was there for a while having coffee and snacks. The staff were kind, had personality, and seemed to be enjoying what they did. And they made a mean macchiato. While I’m less likely to go there than other coffee shops because of the distance, I’d be happy to go back if I was in the area.

I would give it a 4/5 if they had more consistent espresso pulls as I have found it to be hit-and-miss over the last few years. It's a special coffee house in Kelowna. The Bean Scene baristas are actually trained to do proper extraction and pouring. If you like Starbucks, then you might not understand or have a taste for quality. They measure, check and present everything by hand at Bean Scene. The semi-quiet space upstairs is a haven for students cramming before exams. It would be cool if they also added a sign to designate it as a quiet space, but you can't please everyone ????

I used to go to the Bean Scene downtown all the time until they moved to their new larger location which had none of the charm. Luckily the Pandosy location has what the new downtown location is lacking, and I come here all the time now instead. It's a great place to read or work on your laptop. The coffee is good and the service is fast and friendly. The artwork on the walls is usually appealing and they rotate it frequently. I'm a fan of their baked cookies but not so much their other food. That's personal preference though. Prices are a little on the expensive side but I only drink coffee and iced tea in the summer so I can't comment too much on them. The music they play over the speakers is usually pretty solid, but again, personal preference.

Macchiato, cappuccino and espresso are all priced under $5.00. Service can be lack lustre and the baked goods are average. Quality of coffee beans is great though which makes up for it, iced coffee can range on the bitter side though. Free parking in the back and AC and Wi-Fi inside.

I came in for a double espresso and was served what appeared to be about a teaspoons worth of coffee. By the time I swirled the cup , all of the contents coated the walls of the cup leaving nothing at all to drink. I asked if they could make it again, then they proceeded to explain by saying it's a ristretto shot ( which I am completely familiar with, being born in Italy, raised In cafe's and working in the coffee industry ) And wanted to charge me an additional cost if I wanted more to make it a "quad". ***Go to Giobean if you want great coffee with even better service***
