I loved this cafe so much, I went for a little visit to see my grandparents and they brought me to this cafe. The Iced chai latte is so great and the cookies are delicious. It changes my whole view on Kelowna, Im definitely coming again.

Great cup of London fog, friendly staff, didn't get to try the pastries but they look appetizing. Will def have to try next time!

I love this place, it's absolutely adorable and has great chai. The salmon and brie sandwiches are perfect! Great if you work at the hospital and want to switch it up, or if you're just walking along Abbot and want a tasty pit stop.

Gary Yang

Wonderful neighbourhood coffee shop serving Giobean coffee, fine pastries and gelato Staffs are very friendly and it’s right beside the beach park

Bryan Dallas

Amazing staff, great coffee options, REALLY good iced latte, and yummy sandwiches.

So nice to have the Abbott Street Cafe in the neighbourhood. Steve, Kate, Kit, Allana and Andrea all very polite and welcoming. I believe some of the negative reviews came with a political agenda and not to have a cup of coffee. All the best in 2022!

I am very thankful that this cafe is open. I go every morning (Monday to Friday). The coffee is aromatic and reminds me of Italy. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast croissant. The service is great. Just order, pay, and they'll bring it out to you! Not sure why anyone would say anything negative about anything or anyone working at this wonderful cafe? Maybe they forgot we are in a pandemic? Thank you to the management and staff for always making me and my 2 dogs feel happy and comfortable while we hang out on the patio.

The owner Steven is horribly rude. If you don't like supporting businesses whose owner treats its patrons poorly don't go here. I walked in to get a coffee and almond croissant. The owner went to hand me a mask as I wasn't wearing one. I explained I have a medical exemption. That's when he told me he cannot then serve me. I again reiterated that I have a medical exemption. He then proceeded to condescendingly tell me as a business owner he has the right to refuse service to anyone. No, Steven, as a business owner you don't. If your attitude is that you have the right to discriminate towards people maybe you should resort to working by yourself, not owning a business that serves the public. By the other negative comments it seems Steven might not be the friendliest or nicest person around. So, again, you choose where you spend your money. And you choose what types of humans you want to support. Go somewhere that values its customers.

Amazing and family friendly service. The hot chocolate here is to die for!! My husband son and I came here for lunch and had amazing coffees, hot chocolates and there is something special about his tuna sandwiches- maybe apple in the mix? My 3 year old ate a whole sandwich himself and said it was the best sandwich ever. The owner personally came over to ask how everything was. I appreciate him ensuring patrons are wearing masks given the close proximity to the hospital and so many immune compromised customers. This place was recommended to us by so many nurses and healthcare staff at KGH

Not the most family friendly stop. My husband, two young children and father-in-law popped into the cafe today and as my husband was asking a question to the cashier, he gestured (a hands up kind of thing) to the woman behind us, as if he was apologizing that my family and I were taking too long. It made us feel uncomfortable and rushed. I quickly made a decision for what my kids would want in order to move it along. We probably won't return, and keep our regular visits to Sprout Breadshop down town.

The male server on Friday Sep3@4pm needs to work on his temper/manners and little more tolerance on mistakes of others. Having been on the beach I realized I didn’t have my mask. I Used my shirt as a substitute of a mask and was treated very unpleasantly . If this establishment feels so strongly (rightfully) about mask, they can’t afford a small box of disposable ones? They ask for support, wouldn’t this be one way for them to support their costumers instead of belittling them. As far as the coffee, it was good.

Nice design, good coffee, food rather uninspiring.

We were really looking forward to trying this cafe but the coffee, food, and service were really disappointing.

Cafe is a construction site except for outside seating which will be irrelevant soon. Also when I dared to go to the washroom without a mask the manager attacked me verbally therefore has no customer service skills to speak of. God only knows how he treats his staff. Stay away and be forewarned. Don't see this place surviving.
