We had mixed vegetables yellow curry and Ginger tofu, as well as two appetizers, spring rolls and summer rolls. Also wine, beer and cola. $79. The GOOD news: nice little patio in small friendly town, very pleasant server, very clean washrooms, served quickly with no mistakes, server asked about allergies, etc., wheel chair accessible, caters to vegetarians. The inside was cafeteria type atmosphere, but clean. The BAD news: You could prepare this food better yourself. Sauces, spicing bland. Food was not authentic Thai, at least not the many authentic Thai restaurants I have visited. It tasted warmed up and some of the vegetables were overcooked. This food may pass in a small town, but do not claim to be Thai. It reminded me of food I had in Shanghai.

Great friendly phone service for ordering food to pick up and a decent menu to choose from. The food was hot and plentiful, and our large order was ready for pick up in 30 minutes, but there were definitely some things that were just a little different than other Thai places I’ve tried. I ordered a green curry with chicken (asked for spicy), but unfortunately when we got home there was no chicken. However, this could have been our error when ordering. Unfortunately, it wasn’t spicy at all and the broth of the curry was heavy and cream-like (as though they’d used coconut cream instead of milk. No only that, the cream part seemed to have separated and the amount of oil that separated out by the time I’d finished eating was a bit disgusting. The Pad Thai didn’t quite taste authentic and there was a lot of noodles but not a great deal of chicken. We also had the spicy shrimp, spicy beef, ginger chicken and sweet and sour chicken - the two of us are big eaters...kidding, there were 6 of us. The dishes were tasty but all of them seemed to come with a thick, cornstarchy sauce usually more common in Chinese food. Definitely just average Thai food, but friendly and fast take away service.

Amazing owners and amazing food what more could someone ask for. I'd definitely recommend any one of their Currys, Pad Thai, Coconut chicken soup & spring rolls.

One of the best restaurants that I have ever been to in a very long time. I'm a foodie and was honesty getting tired of the same old taste or vinegeared down spice or flavorless food. This was our family getaway pizza wings and icecream is ok but at Orchid Bistro I was pleasantly shocked with this home style restaurant big flavors from such a down to earth place. I wouldn't be surprised if this place will be lined up with reservations soon.
