Great staff, great location, great food. A Lindsay institution. Not worth a trip back home without getting something from the Olympia. Is it the most authentic greek food experience? Perhaps not. Is it delicious, a great environment, and one of the best spots in downtown Lindsay? Absolutely.

A very nice Greek restaurant with a mix of traditional Greek food, American classics and daily specials... The food here extremely good and we keep going back for more. The Greek salad is very good and so are the appetizers and soups. It is definitely a place to go often and try a variety of dishes.

i brought my family and a friend to this place. it was very busy but they somehow found room for 5 of us. the food was excellent and everyone enjoyed there meal! the staff were great and made us feel at home. I can see why it was so full!

Haven’t been to Lindsay for many years wanted to go to a different restaurant but they were booked up so came to the Olympia restaurant instead ..... glad we did although turns out the other place is run by the brother of Nicki the owner of the Olympia. The meal was delicious and Nicki spent time talking with us (very nice). Will definitely eat back

Wonderful dinner at Olympia! Great way to celebrate my birthday. Gyro platter and the dip platter were wonderful, and i celebrated with a Negroni. Service was impeccible. Every employee seemed to genuinely care about the customers in the restaurant and everyone was greeted with such warmth.

Absouloutley amazing restaurant! I come here for dinner quite often and usually order the chicken souvlaki dinner. It is amazing and I recommend that you try it. While you're here be sure to try their sparkiling water. It is very good and only available in Greece. The staff are extremely nice and will go above and beyond to make sure you have good service.

Stopped for lunch in Lindsay on a cycling trip and stumbled across this place. Nice and airy location with the front open and a small patio as well. We had the falafel pita with Greek fries and a Greek chicken wrap - both were delicious. Service friendly and fast.

Great food and the staff were very friendly. I had a BLT with fries, and my coworker had a parmesan-breaded slice of eggplant with salad. There was a long wait for the food but it went by quickly enough with some conversation, and the food itself was delicious.

One of the best Greek restaurants I have ever been. Food was great. Portions are generously sized and fairly priced. Nice spacious interior with historical elements in the decor, paired with lounge music in the background creates a warm and upscale atmosphere. Patio is also very nice. Our server Natalie was very professional and friendly. She went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. I will definitely visit Olympia Restaurant again.

From Brampton. Went for supper, after 40 minutes waiting for our order. My wife & I stood up & left. No one came to apologize for the lengthy wait. Good service would of brought us some pita & hummus or butter to munch on while we waited. But they simply didn't care on losing clients. Won't be going back.

Went for my Mum’s 60th birthday. Amazing experience. Our server Jess was very up-beat, personable and helpful with our order decisions. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. (Despite covid times) Most importantly my Mum had a great time! Thank you to Jess, the kitchen and the rest of the staff. Will be coming back for sure!

Mediocre food, high prices. I used to enjoy coming to this place, but it seems prices are going up, and food portions are getting smaller. Last time I visited I was a little shocked how much it cost for myself and 2 young children. It was about 70 dollars with one beer, dinner for myself, my daughter, and son. My sons soup was thankfully taken off, he complained it didn't taste good, when I tasted it it was entirely lacking in taste. Maybe a touch of bullion but nothing worth having. There are much better places, I wouldn't recommend.

Serving staff very friendly. Food was excellent, had the calamari arrived hot to the table. Had the pear, walnut and cranberry salad with feta and chicken with fig basamic dressing. Portion was huge. Flavour profile was exquisite. Atmosphere relaxed and easy. This is the place to eat in Lindsay.

We were looking unsuccessfully for dinner around 8 pm in Lindsay, a town where there's a limited selection of good restaurants and most places close very early, when a helpful hostess at Pane Vino, a place that was just closing, suggested Olympia. It was a good suggestion. Our party of four was greeted warmly and seated right away. All had the evening's special, a pork schnitzel served with a Greek salad (tomato, cucumber, feta cheese chunks, onion and olives). It was a generous portion of tasty, well-prepared food, served promptly. The price was reasonable. We'd happily go back.

Waited >40 minutes today for lunch and it was only 1/3 full. No reason for that. Good food, a bit pricey, but was worth it once as the service was great. Was my go-to place but will try another. Disappointed.

Excellent, cheerful service. The spanakopita was clearly freshly made to order: hot inside and crispy outside. Nice ambiance. The chicken was good - not over cooked. Good choice in Lindsay. Note they closed at 8 pm the night I was there; you may want to check the hours before going.

What a wonderful restaurant ! They fit us in on a busy Saturday, let us dry our gear near the fire, and served delicious food, with a nice espresso to finish ! The waitress was top notch, and very friendly.

I was in for lunch today at around noon...tuesday august 4 and did not have a pleasant experience with the waitress. I had ordered a grilled sandwich and fries. The fries were as hard as a rock and I couldn't even put my fork thru most of them. When waitress came over to ask if food was ok...I told her my fries are overdone and I can't eat them. She replies snarkly to me...but that's how we cook our fries...they are always like that. Perhaps i should have ordered rice. Girl I have been eating in restaurants for 60 yrs and I know when fries are overcooked. She could have said would u like me to exchange fries for a salad. Instead she said nothing. I guess was too busy gossiping with her father in law who was seated beside us. I wished owner or daughter was there so I could have complained in person. Remember in future young girl...the customer is always right....she should have tried to offer a substitute. Instead she has just lost a valuable customer .

The food here is delicious. Just, recently they don’t do takeout - At All - which is depressing because they’re the only place in town who does calamari souvlaki, and we have a baby, so there’s no easier way for us to enjoy Olympias great food without takeout. 1 star ⭐️ until they get takeout going again.

First time. Great quality food. Service was slow. The house was almost full on a busy local night and there were 3 servers and no bartender. It took 5 min to get menus. about 15 min for drinks and 50 min for food. We weren't really in a hurry and it was worth the wait. We sat near the front by the fireplace as the booths fill up quickly in back. The tables in the front are quite close together so we got to see a lot of menu options up close and everything looked great. My favourite was the sweet potato and cauliflower soup omg. My cranberry pear salad with chicken was delicious as well. It paired nicely with the cranberry apple cider that was garnished with fresh cranberries which was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this place for a date or nice casual dinner.

Love this restaurant. Best Greek salad I've ever had. Our family tries to eat here once a month. Souvlaki is awesome too. We highly recommend Olympia!
