Visited Mrs. Bake Shop on Aug. 1, 2020. Ordered three pans of different flavoured squares. Picked them up at 11 am on Aug. 4, 2020. They were just out of the oven. Warm and delicious. The people who run this place were soooo friendly and accommodating. Price was right and my continental breakfast for 10 was completed so I could golf. These are good people that make great products. Thank you for the awesome service.

Very friendly, incredibly tasty, and pretty cheap. We came to try the butter tarts, but it was a little later in the day and they were sold out (probably a sign of the quality). No matter, because everything else we purchased was absolutely amazing! We will be back.

We were looking for a good coffee, and boy did we get it. Asked for an Americano and it was rich and strong and delicious. My only complaint is that by the time I went back in to get a butter tart square and come back outside, my wife had finished my coffee! - she doesn't normally drink coffee but liked it that much. Very nice people working there, too.

Very hard to find quality, homemade baked goods up north, without generally doing it yourself. We had noticed this little shop in our travels through Coby, and one day pondering at our place, where we were going to get a home baked quality pie for our dinner we were hosting the next evening, we decided to give Mrs Bake Shop a try. I telephoned the shop, Mrs Mirella picked up the call. I asked what she made pie wise and that I was in need one for the next evening. She gave me 6 fresh choices, I decided on raspberrie. Next morning at 11:15am we went, introduced ourselves, our pie was warm, and waiting for pick up. A little shop, wafting with deliciousness! Our dinner went great, topped off with an espresso and pie with ice-cream. All commented on the Outstanding pie, my wife from a long line of French pastry gals, smiled and said, Delicious, and I smiled and said"now we have a bakery up here, we can finally trust! " Mirella, it was a pleasure, see you soon!

Open Again for Take Out (only) WONDERFUL little bakery with a that friendly village atmosphere. More than just freshly made delicious sweets. (Lots of homemade meal items in the freezer too.) Folks often order pies ahead because they are so popular. We especially love their unique date squares. Make Mrs. Bake Shop a Destination. (P.S. MR. Bake makes the date squares so we call it the Mrs.n Mr. Bake Shop LOL)

Stopped by to stock up on goodies during our time in the Kawarthas. Was met with friendly service and AMAZING baked goods - the carrot cake was perfectly moist, the butter tarts were dreamy, and the scones were such a satisfying snack on our fall hike. Will definitely return if we're ever in the area again. Locals are lucky to have this place!

Mirella and Frank are amazing and I highly recommend their bakery. Everything is handmade with love. The rhubarb is from their own garden. Everything is local, delicious and made with care and love. They sell out of their biscuits quickly so get there early! ????

We recently moved to Coby and have heard nothing but great reviews about this bake shop. I finally got to see first hand what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, their baked goods are so amazing. We ordered a strawberry, rhubarb pie. It was the best tasting pie that I have ever had. We are so glad we have an awesome bakery right up the street. Would highly recommend.

Make sure to make a stop at this place! You won't regret it. The couple was very nice and friendly. Everything is home made. The pies, brownies and cookies were delicious! Make sure you call ahead to order your bread as they don't have much for walk in pick up. Well worth it! Support your local mom and pop shop!

My goodness what can I say!!!!!!! 5 Stars all the way. Starting with the best tea biscuits ever. They sell both cheese and raisin,fresh from the oven are soft and fluffy. You can never eat just one. All baking Is done onsite like an old school bakery. The brownies are huge with a crispy layer on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. CookIe selection is awesome. Her coffee cake is delicious too!! I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered her individual homemade dinner meals like lasagna,cabbage rolls and Sheppards pie all homemade just put in the oven and bake just delicious!!!! I often buy a couple of each and store them in the freezer for those days you want something homemade but don’t feel like cooking. This little bakery is small but has tons to choose from and is run by a husband and wife team. They are truly generous, kind and always greet you by name and with a friendly smile. Their homemade bread is delicious. I can’t leave without asking her to throw in a white and whole wheat loaf for me. I love that you can call ahead, anytime to pre order for your upcoming long weekend or celebration. I often pre order 2 dozen tea biscuits cause they go fast!!! I Pre order when I’m having company for the weekend to the cottage. Everyone rants and raves about the tea biscuits (but I’m always honest and never say I baked them) laugh out loud. So whether you are travelling through Coboconk or live in town make sure you stop at this family run bakery and tell them Colleen said Hi!!!!!

Warm says it all, fresh baked bread, tea biscuits, muffins and even warmer people. The proprietors of this little gem are two of the kindest and most pleasant people, you could ever want to meet. They obviously love people and what they do and this comes out in their food. Lunches are great, there are no stockpiles of food from the day before here, everything is made today, so if you want lunch get there early, they often run out. Hey, us locals love good food too eh ! LOL I'm a huge lover of hot pie with vanilla ice cream and their pies are among the very best I've ever had and I've had many, searching for a pie reminiscent of those a dear friend made for me, many years ago. I've finally, after 35 years, found it, right here in Cobi. The apple has a perfect touch and aroma of cinnamon and brings me back to that wonderful time in my life, ahhh...la vita bella, the berry pies just delicious. The only downfall of writing this review is that it's Saturday afternoon and the pies are likely all gone and I've evoked a giant craving for apple pie. So if you want one or 6 of their amazing pies, don't be a nitwit like me and order ahead and, God Bless

You must go here. We were looking for a bakery because the one we normally go to was closed. We googled and it came up with Mrs. Bake. The caramel toffee squares and the buttertarts are so very good. We are truly looking forward to trying the rest of the goodies we bought. Reasonable prices too.
