Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants I've been to in forever. I wish I lived in Kap so that I can eat here more often. This will not have been my last time that's for sure! Traveling from Thunder Bay to Toronto. Made an overnight stop and was hoping for a good meal. Called, and called and called hoping to place an order for pickup. No one picked up the phone, the phone call disconnected. At least they could have picked up the phone. When we had driven past it to the hotel, the sign had said it was open.

...nice little diversion from the typical big box corporate roadhouse. Roadhouse fare but from a local restaurateur, surprisingly (or unsurprisingly I should say) the menu had a great variety of options and flavours that added to my excitement and comfort sitting down at a new restaurant The staff was courteous and efficient. A delight serving up some northern hospitality along with a wonderful roadhouse dining experience. The dining room was large and spacious like the Tardis this place was “bigger on the inside”. The washrooms were again spacious and above all else incredibly clean. Patio was large and spacious as well though it was a little drizzly out so we enjoyed a booth inside. As far as roadhouses and casual/pub style dining in the north I can faithfully and comfortably give this restaurant a full array of five stars. My only knock was the selection of craft brews but this is me and a faze that I am dealing with, they did support local and had Full Beard on tap.

I've never eaten in such a small town with such an expensive menu. I was in town for a couple weeks and ate several things on the menu and got medium food quality throughout. Steaks that were cooked slightly too long, pastas that were slightly over sauced, and portions of anything resembling healthy food shrunk down almost nothing. However it is way out in the middle of Ontario, and it seems like most places in the town share in the theme of laclustur experiences. If you are picky about your food and need to stop in Kap go to one of the fast food chains and save your money for another town.

Staying in the area from out of town so I ate there a few nights. The burgers are great, the lift kit was one of the better burgers I've ever had. Cooked well and the sauce is really good. Had the wings, nice and crispy, could have been hotter for 'buffalo' sauce. Cobb salad was enormous, chicken was juicy. Good beer, friendly waitstaff. I will go back if I get up to the area again.

Hey everyone!! Review for truckers who plans to order food from here for deleivery so I ordered food at flying j kapuskasing food came quick no doubt. They send food through taxi driver so I am from United States some how my card didn’t worked on there machine which was carried by that stupid taxi driver ! I went in to use Atm to pull out some cash like 60 bucks by the time I came back the driver left . I was starving like hell. He didn’t even waited for 2 minutes and when I call them back no one was picking up my call for like 15 minutes I guess !! Then fin lay lady picked the call and said that driver denied to come back without any reason. Felt really bad .#disrespectcustomers #avoid thisplace

Nice restaurant with great atmosphere. Restaurant has a good selection of craft beers as well as your favourites from the big brands. Ribs and wings with house BBQ sauce were great. O'Brien chips were good but a little too salty for my liking. Staff was great and checked on our table periodically. Pricing is what you would expect for this type of establishment. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good food but horrible customer service our waitress forgot the drinks that were ordered. It took her over 40 minutes to come take our order and when she finally did come to take our order she had to ask us if we were going to order a main entree. Part way through taking our tables order she left to take another tables order that arrived later then us only to come back 10 minutes later to see if we needed anything else having forgotten she didn’t take our entire tables order. Because she took so long to take our orders we didn’t get our entrees before 8:30 and we came in at 6:30.

I liked the feel of the place. It smelled like 2 parts beer, 1 part food. The service was very friendly. There was a decent selection of craft beers. The beers were served very cold. The menu wasn't particularly unique with a pretty standard "grill" menu and some pub grub. I actually had 2 meals there. One was the lift kit burger and the other was the rib and wing combo. Both were excellent. The latter was a massive portion. I got "bilingual poutine" both times. The only knock I have is that they use frozen fries (albeit good ones) instead of fresh cut fries which I always hope for from non-fast food joints.

This place was recommended by the night clerk at the Comfort Inn. This is a must stop, when staying the night in kapuskasing. Burgers are all meat(which I had) and my Wife said the chicken quesadilla was great.

Good food and good service. My experience has mostly been with the pub style entrees, and everything I've tried so far has been great. If you're looking for a more traditional fine dining experience, they do also have quite a few offerings available, but be aware that the atmosphere is more akin to that of a sports bar. So maybe be a bit selective if you're looking for something upscale.

Excellent service. Waitress was very attentive to us and checked in frequently to make sure everything was ok. I had the bruchetta chicken and it came cold and the bruchetta itself had way too much dried basil. When I stated this to our waitress she apologized and gave us a discount on my meal alone. She had offered us dessert for the unsatisfactory meal however I had eaten enough that I was too full. We will be going back, I will just order something different next time.

Considering it's remote location, this place is very good. We had a pizza. Generously sized, nice crust (a bit sweet for me), tasty sauce, and generous cheese. The pizza was excellent value. Something a bit strange about cheese for me but pizza was still pretty good. Nice select of draft beer. Pretty large menu so something for every eater in your family. I was pleasantly surprised. Service friendly. Waitress had a funny mask which kept making me do a double take - a man's hairy smile with a mask under his chin. Funny. A good find right off the highway. I would stop by everytime. Good portions, good value, good service.

Good little eatery joint with (at least on my one visit) great service. Layout was already very COVID friendly with enough space and partitions so it was a nice feeling to not be surrounded by Plexiglas and plastic. Food was excellent (stellar given the region and how remote this part of Ontario is). Ambiance was a little dark for my taste and their online menu didn't list the drinks were my only (very minor) complaints. Would definately return!

Just ok. Ordered the honey chicken ranch sandwich. Was pretty disappointed to see they used the fake processed cheese slices and the chicken burger looked like the frozen ones from the grocery store. Sauce was delicious though, as were the jalapeño poppers.

The first time we ordered take out as you could not dine in and it was fabulous!!! The second time we ate in as covid restrictions had been lifted. We ordered the same exact things we did for take.out. The burger were burnt and dry and there chips were so salty we could not eat them. I was very disappointed ????

After this last two visits that were terrible I don't plan on going back. After trying to work with the manager Kelly and asking for the owner to contact me and she didn't! First day I get yelled and screamed at by a customer, and I had to leave with a migraine and the employees never did a thing! Second time I go back the waitress messed up on my order, charged my daughters kid meal as an adult and complained that a 15% tip wasn't enough. Over charged me and charges are never consistent. Never did I treat my customers the way I was treated in my Restaurant and Bar. To the fact that the manger can not call me back and the manager said she would look into it and I never heard back from her is not acceptable! I have my bill and the kids menu to prove I was over charged!! Never even got an apology for the way the customer treated me in their restaurant and the cops told me it was their job to call them not me to report the harassment I received from the customer. Totally disappointment in this Restaurant!!!!
