Ample seating, good space to sit and catch up with people or get some work done. As far as food/drinks go - the mocha was not very good and the baked good I got was quite dry. They do offer a lot of different food options so something else might be better than what I got.

Great atmosphere, awesome coffee! Love the various roasts and always a good cup every time. The recently renovated space offers a vary cozy feel and the ambiance is perfect. They even serve ice-cream if you are looking for a fix ! I am a repeat customer, and often buy their beans! Staff is very friendly and the establishment is always clean.

I recently went here with my 94 year old grandma and from the moment they took our order they were so incredibly rude and made us feel like the biggest burden even though I ordered only a hot water and her a chai tea. They forgot my grandma’s drink all together and when we finally got it, it was literally half full. So disappointed. I love supporting local but I really don’t think I’ll be back.

We happened upon The Vic during a walk through Kamloops with our dog. We sat on their nice patio in the shade and enjoyed an Italian soda, pineapple smoothie and two bagel breakfast sandwiches. The bagel breakfast sandwiches were ‘paninified’ to perfection - wow! So good! The staff brought out a bucket of water for our pup and even delivered our food and drinks to our table as they knew we were watching over our timid rescue dog. That meant a lot :) Can’t wait to visit again the next time we are in town!

Really friendly lady gave good service. Amazing ambience and architecture. We sat outside and they specially extra toasted our bagels! It had oozing cheese and was delish. I also had this large chai with a sort of rum sweetener thing....anyhow the point is it was really good! Definitely coming back!

I love this place! The atmosphere is quite welcoming and its nice to go there for a break from our day to day craziness. I take my family there every weekend. I find their coffee and baked goods very fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it there.

This is the Absolute Best Cafe in Kamloops, possibly the best in all of BC. Every single thing they make is not only delicious, they have ensured that all Covid protocols are adhered to. Not hugely impressed based on how rad it looked upon first checking it out and seeing it from the outside. Large coffee is pretty small and tasted quite average, whilst the banana bread (together around 10 bucks) was really dry. Apart from that, very nice decor and good location.

One of my favorite roasts in BC. Was looking forward to a great cup of coffee there last time I was in town but they were closed at 830 am so went to Motivo but will try to time it better when I come through again. Love the patio too.

Great coffee and really good desserts. Coffee is roasted in house, and is a that old school earthy flavour, not the sour contemporary roast. They do their own baking too. I highly recommend the pies, chocolate quinoa cake, carrot cake, and cinnamon twists. Oh, and they are in an old building, so if you stay in you get to enjoy it's architectural character.

The renos make it more modern, but with a cozy feel! However, a friend and I went in on Saturday Dec 7th around noon for a coffee. The young guy at the till was great, but after waiting 10 minutes for our coffees, I went up to the counter and grabbed my friend's drink. Mine was still not ready, so I asked and was very rudely told there was a long line up and had to wait. I waited another 5-10 minutes, and went back up to ask why mine was still being worked on. The lady at the bar proceeded to give me more attitude about my drink. Not impressed.

One of the best spots in Kamloops for a coffee and pastry. One of the few coffee shops with decent hours open when you expect/need it. Parking can be challenging due to location but worth circling the block.

Wow! What a transformation. Had walked by the old "Zacks" a number of times and thought what a pity such a prime location was often empty. Well, the new owners have brought this place to life! It has been totally redecorated, is now modern and very tasteful. It is such a welcoming environment. Staff were friendly and professional. Coffee was great. Was only in for coffee so didn't try any of the tempting items in the display case but had scones, homemade pies, ice cream to name a few. Highly recommend a visit and will definitely be going back.

Very large selection of teas. You can buy freshly roasted coffee beans by the pound and have them ground right there. I ordered a specialty coffee on a visit previous and it was way too sweet and not properly stirred so by the time I got to the bottom, it was even more sweet, which was very disappointing. I had a look at the deli case both times there and everything looked very old, the vegetables on the sandwiches and in the salads appeared to be very close to being spoiled, not appetizing. I had purchased a pound of coffee on the second visit and specifically asked for medium ground as the reusable, single serve metal filter I use, cannot use fine ground as the granules would just fall out through the holes and into the cup. An employee with blond hair and bright pink lipstick that did not take my order, asked me what I was using for my coffee, I said I was using a metal reusable filter, I didn't think anything of it and continued to wait for my coffee. The blond haired employee decided to change what I had asked for and got the other employee there to make it fine ground. I wasn't asked if it was ok to change what I had originally asked for and I went out the door. The tape on the bag was coming off as I was walking, on my way to another store, and opened it and noticed that it was fine ground, despite asking for medium. I finished my errands and went back to the coffee shop and I asked if what I got was medium, I was told it was fine ground and she had thought I was using a different type of filter. I described what I was using again and said that I have to use medium ground as anything finer wouldn't work, the same blond employee re-ground the beans for me without charging me which I appreciated. She wasn't polite, and wasn't rude.. monotone, straight faced. She didn't own up to her mistake which I found strange, I understand that she was trying to be proactive, however, I don't find it courteous to change what was ordered without asking and making me come all the way back after going home. Lucky for me, I only live a short walk away, but if this had happened to someone who lived out of town or far away and they had to drive, bus, or cab a long way to get back to the cafe or if they had to waste $16.00 on coffee that couldn't be used because they couldn't go all the way back there to get the mistake fixed, I would assume that they wouldn't be too happy about that. I always had great, friendly service when this place was Zack's and always had a delicious cup of coffee. I am willing to come here again and give it a try and see if I can change my rating, the coffee beans are very good.

Have have never been here before. Service is very good. And the cinnamon buns are very good. But the hot chocolate and tea are a bit pricey. 15 dollars for one large tea and large hot chocolate and 2 cinnamon buns.

I was skeptical that the new shop wouldn't have any character like the classic Zack's, but I was wrong. They've really kept the classic atmosphere and freshened it up in a good way. I was happy that it felt very similar.

Nice place for a cup of Coffee and grab a quick bite when you are in Downtown Kamloops. Centrally located friendly people nice place to sit down and take a break. I will definitely go there again. Had been there again for coffee yes I definitely like the place. Had coffee and spinach scone which was really good. The people are very nice. Like the simplicity and it is a very spacious place, lots of room for all to sit at a safe distance.
