The woman there in her 40's looked at me as if I were some kind of solicitor, instead of figuring out that if I am there is because I want to order food, and that's because I don't look like the average white person she is used to see in her own little world. I understand that is normal in aging women, to be critical and judgmental, but it's still annoying.

First time but definitely not the last! Great service, clean with social distancing friendly set-up. Real in-house cooked turkey on a stuffed full club house with yummy sourdough from Craig’s. French onion soup was lovely! Add in Kirsten’s fantastic team and you got a 5 star experience. ????????????????

Loved the food and the service was amazing. I can honestly say im impressed. The name matches the restaurant very well as it is a hidden gem, very comfortable surrounding, overall a very good place too eat or bring family. I'd recommend this too anybody looking for a good breakfast.

Fantastic little gem of a restaurant!! The server was super friendly, menu was big and decently priced. Food came fast and tasted great!! Lots of hollandaise sauce on eggs Benny and French toast was very satisfying!! Also a great selection of Teas and muffins... Will definitely be back to try other items

Little hideaway restaurant in motel. Parking in the lot available, but probably not for large vehicles. Pleasant, friendly servers will know your name if you come here a few times. Good food, not expensive, good portion sizes and endless coffee.

They have some of the best closest to home, true to mommas kitchen hearty meals I've had....Well since mom's place when I was s hungry hung overcteenager!! Tucked in behind Canada’s best value inn. A lil hard to find when you’re not from the area, but WELL WORTH IT!!! Don’t let the exterior mess with you. Many regulars and all known by the waitress. I had the Blackstone Benny. Fantastic. Bacon with fresh tomato instead of the ham. Very tasty. Soft poached eggs were perfect. Homemade hash browns. Girlfriend had Farmer sausage and basted eggs. Nailed it. Good coffee, great ambiance, jovial waitress. Lots of fun signs to read. Very enjoyable experience. ????????????????????

I had the Deluxe Cheeseburger and I absolutely LOVED it their meet is super fresh and everything is made in house. The staff are extremely friendly. They are very nice and helpful. I'd recommend and go to this place every time I'm in Kamloops.

Every year we stay in Kamloops, we eat here. Breakfasts are delicious and large portions! You will not leave here hungry and that's guaranteed by their lovely owner Kirsten. One of her waitresses, Sherry, I believe is worth a visit just for her sparkling personality alone! So come for the waitress, and stay for the food! Best place in Kamloops for breakfast and lunch for sure!

Hands down on me of the best cafes around town. I highly recommend ordering the cinnamon buns for 5$! You will not be let down. They are amazing huge portioned size of goodness! Along with rest of their menu at a reasonable price for homemade dinning. You cannot go wrong with this quiet place. You will feel right at home with the staff.

Hideout indeed! I was quite surprised that this place has been around long enough for my buddy to know everybody there, and them to greet him by name. I've lived in Kamloops off and on for a collective 5 years, and didn't know anything was here. Friendly staff, decent prices, and the food itself was pretty good. Lots of firefighters and paramedics, but it turns out they just come for the grub!
