Best place to grab a breakfast wrap downtown. I work downtown and have tried all sorts of breakfast wraps at local coffee shops and hands down, Amplified has the best ones. I also grabbed a peanut butter bar and chai cookie. These are delicious but sweet! I enjoyed having small bites throughout the day. I’ve been when the owner is there and loved the London Fogs he made. I have also been when he’s not there and the teas were mediocre at best. For the cost of the lattes and inconsistency of what you’ll get, unfortunately I can’t recommend it. Great location.

Amazing Coffee Bar, The owner and staff were really friendly and very knowledgeable about the local coffee scene. The Slayer Espresso Machine was sweet and the coffee was brilliant (I got a cold brew and my friend got an iced americano)

Handsdown, best coffee in town. I wouldn't go anywhere else, unless someone seriously challenges them. And as I just found out these guys are derived from the old Motivo/cowboy gang. Which just explains the investment in quality of the coffee. Daniel certainly takes pride in his coffee and certainly humble enough to want to know and learn more. Keep it up guys. Very happy to have found good coffee in Kamloops again.

My favourite coffee shop in downtown Kamloops. I've been there a handful of times and each time the quality of the coffee and pastry is top notch. The staff are quite friendly and take their time to ensure the quality of the drink for each person. Also the seating and atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Highly reccomend!

The best coffee shop in Kamloops. Moving from the coast, we had to find a new go-to coffee shop comparable to some of our Vancouver favourites, and Amplified is it. The space has a cool, cohesive look that's always clean and has a variety of seating areas. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Beverages are well-made using quality beans and always taste great, be it an americano, mocha or seasonal special. Baked goods and food never disappoint. I read another review raving about the wraps, and I have to second this - the vegetarian wrap is *chef's kiss*! The cafe carries a variety of beans for your at home brewing needs, as well as coffee accessories. Kudos to the owner, who's frequently around to impart coffee wisdom and is an all around friendly guy. If you haven't tried this spot, you're definitely missing out! Mega plus for being COVID friendly and keeping with public health guidelines.

The staff were friendly and courteous but both the coffee and the pastries left something to be desired. I bought a banana chocolate chip muffin which tasted very generic. I also ordered a large latte. The latte was...well it just was. The espresso itself seemed weak and didn't hold up well to the steamed milk. It also didn't have any complexity to it. The taste of it didn't linger and leave me wanting more like a good latte does. I mostly just tasted the milk. I may visit again simply because espresso can be so finicky if it's not ground, tamped, or pulled properly. Maybe it was just an off day. Fingers crossed it was. If it's the closest cafe to you, they're a good choice. But if you're willing to walk the few blocks, you'll find a lot more cafes with higher quality coffee.
