The coffee here is phenomenal. They really know what they’re doing! Best espresso in Kamloops. Almond croissants are also amazing! Baristas are always so nice and the cafe itself has a great welcoming atmosphere.

Loved it! The first time I came, the owner saw me and my friend's post on Facebook, where we were offering free community service. He told us to come in and have lunch on him after seeing it! All that aside, food, drinks, staff, atmosphere were 6/5 stars! Deffinetly will be coming back, even though it'll be on my own dime hahaha!

Cute little coffee shop with decent coffee. Baked good (scone) was ok. Some seating available in store. Service was efficient. It's nice to have as there's been a bit of a void for a specialty coffee shop on the North Shore since Moustache and Go closed up.

Clean, cozy we and modern cafe. I felt comfortable and safe. They are definitely following covid-19 protocols. I gave them a 2 star because of my order. I saw the sign "cold brew on tap" and ordered one. However, the cold brew coffee was stored and poured from a single-use 4 litre milk jug. How does a person properly sanitize and re-purpose a plastic milk jug?

Great coffee and really nice staff. The place was super busy while I was there but everything moved along quick and the staff didn’t seem stressed at all. They were serving Phil & Sebastian coffee which was a bonus.

Stopped here during a road trip with a friend and the staff could not have been nicer! Our barista was so friendly, we had an endearing conversation with him, and he even refilled our water bottles for us :) the coffee was delicious too!! Will be stopping here again next time I’m in the area

This place is quaint and unique! I had an Americano with a shot of espresso in it and IT was creamy and tasty. The two guys who run the place are nice and hip! They do serve food there but you will have to come to the North Shore to eat here!

Using JJ Bean which is local to BC. Usually the coffee is superior tasting than other places. Service is a bit mechanical made worse with covid regulatory plexi glass. Seems however decline in service is everywhere wondering if the art of is disappearing

Not sure what happened with my orders because I see so many reviews raving about the coffee and espressos here, but my latte made with whole milk was just so watery and tasteless... there was hardly any espresso taste and we couldn’t taste the whole milk either, there was no crema and no latte art. Not sure if the barista normally working was off shift, but we were pretty disappointed with paying for two drinks and tipping generously...

Good service, poor advertisement - there were definitely more than five beans. Fantastic service by staff that seem to be able to tolerate even the most “old-white man” of requests like “one cow in my coffee, please.” Can’t miss this one.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff but my drink wasn't even warm when I got it which was a bit of a disappointment. The coffee is pretty average but this place has lots of nice baked goods. There is lots of beeping car horns because of the 4 ways stop outside which is a bit unsettling. I would give it a chance again but still prefer other places in Kamloops.

Great tasting flat white. Espresso was strong and milk was nice and hot. The heart was a nice touch. Chocolate almond croissant was good - no filling just what you see on the outside, but delicious crunch then flakey and soft interior.

Was studying here one morning. A young man had taken a seat inside to get out of the cold. After a while the barista gave him a hot chocolate which inspired another patron to buy him a breakfast wrap. Nice to see a shop treat everyone who enters through there doors with such respect and humanity. It's my favourite coffee shop now. ♥️♥️

Extremely friendly staff, great coffee. Probably the most frustrating hours of operation though. Not open early, not open late and closed weekends?! There's no other decent coffee options on the North Shore so it's frustrating to have limited access to this location.

Super cute place with awesome staff! Sadly every time I’ve come here I have been disappointed with my drink:( I’m not sure what’s going on exactly because I have had JJ Bean coffee at a bunch of different places but for some reason here the espresso always tastes sour. The food is great and the service is always quick. I just would not recommend an americano or any drink where you can really taste the espresso. If you’re looking for a good drip coffee and good food you’d definitely love it!

Moved to Sun Peaks recently and was sad about leaving my coffee shops in Kelowna behind. When we discovered 5Bean on one of our town trips I was beyond impressed by the cafe. I’ve worked in the coffee industry as a barista for 10 years and when I find a shop that offers a traditional cappuccino I know it’s a good one. The staff were super kind and friendly , the shop felt warm and cozy, and the fact that they are using JJ Bean was a bonus. Loved all the other products on display! Now we make it a tradition to stop in on every town day.

My experience was ok. It was really busy and the staff were nice and attentive. However, while the pastry I bought early in the day looked really good, it did not taste good. It wasn't fresh and tough to chew. The espresso drink I bought was also a bit too bitter. Based on the other reviews I was expecting better quality food and drink. As mentioned I liked the place and staff, so I'll have to go back and give it another try I'm in town.

Always a wonderful experience at 5Bean up by Save On in Sahali, my go-to for coffee when in Kamloops. Super sweet staff every time. Warm and genuine. Great coffee and decor. The bathrooms are even beautiful, with lovely wooden doors on the stalls. And extra bonus points for the place not discriminating against mask-exempt customers.
