I am very impressed with this small town LCBO. I would prefer it to be a bit bigger and a newer layout but the selection was really good. During the summer it's a really busy spot. The staff is are friendly and helpful. You are limited to the places you get your liquor and beer when you are in the Parry Sound area so this location is convenient.

Surprised by the excellent service. Cashier Trista (I think) was awesome and suggested we pull around back to load our larger order rather than lugging it across the street. She was funny & engaging despite mask protocols etc - I didn't even know you could get outstanding service at an LCBO. Very pleasant surprise.

Poor retail set up but great customer service to compensate. Although parking is at the rear of the store and you have to walk around to the front of the building to get to the front door, the selection is great and an associate offered to carry my purchases around to the loading dock door so I could load them in my car.

Centrally located, this store is a high traffic place with short visits and reasonable selection for its location. Shelves are typically well stocked and staff is helpful and friendly. Both cooler and non stock of beer is available. No specialty sections available. Parking at rear of store or on street. Suggest dropping someone off if pulling a boat or trailer and parking across the street at Home Hardware.

This is one of the Worst locations for a Liquor store I have ever encountered-not the store itself but the parking is atrocious-if there is a vehicle at the loading dock then there isn't Any room to maneuver especially a larger vehicle! Move this out to to either end of town where there is better parking and folks don't have to walk a block to the front door! At 2 on the holiday Friday-the line was long but moved along well with a nice lady keeping the tellers on an even flow. Approximately one third of the cream liqueurs were sold out( of course the one that I wanted) but I bought another -not a big deal- will know to stock up ahead next time. I am glad that I am only visiting because the location would aggravate me!!

It's a space full of booze. I'm not sure why I'm bothering with this? I'll give 5 stars to any large space filled with booze, no other details matter. Grumpy staff? Who cares, look at all the alcohol! Don't have the particular bottle of poncy wine I was looking for? So what!? There's a whole aisle just for tequila! Hey, maybe if they didn't have a fairly large, well-stocked cold room full of beer, I might be persuaded to give it 4 stars... but they do have such a room, attached to the aforementioned bigger room full of booze. I might try and hack Google so I can start giving any place which is a big room full of booze 6 stars. But until then, I'll have another drink and be glad to my bones that there's so much alcohol very nearby. It is very comforting to know that I can walk in any direction and within 20 minutes I can be on my way to oblivion, forgetting all my responsibilities and caring only about what my doctor said about my liver test results last month. But a couple tequila shots pushes those uncomfortable thoughts behind an agave veil and life is happy and good again.

110% I do not shop at the LCBO often but I had to pickup a bottle for a cake topper and the employee made it her personal mission to help me. We didn't find exactly what I was looking for but we found something that would work. You do not find customer service like that much anymore. The cake turned out fantastic. Thank you ????

Great staff....horrible location and limited and difficult parking. I am full time resident. Have you guys ever considered moving to the old Rexall pharmacy over by Sobeys? This would be a perfect location for LCBO. Great parking and still considerable parking in the event Sobeys or Canadian Tire want to expand. Just a suggestion since we need to avoid any congestion of the downtown core with non-tourist related things. Shops downtown are to entice tourists to shop and should be the main focus in the downtown core. Something else to entice more tourists.. a licensed casino motel/resort which would encourage expansion and promote one of the northern Ontario places to be any time of year. K... just another suggestion. I am a city girl who chose smaller towns to make my life and saw how they grew in the many years I lived in them. Everyone I know says they love Parry Sound, but they cannot name any reason to spend time there other than out of town at a lake property, so maybe a licensed casino is the answer?.
