Can't believe how the amazing chicken from Kentucky fried chicken I enjoyed so much as a kid turned into tiny greasy mess they call KFC today. There was so much grease in my chicken, I grabbed it and it shot grease all over my sweater. It took 3 napkins to squeeze some of the grease out of a tiny piece of chicken so small I thought it might be a rare breed of dwarf chicken. I have to say that's my last piece of KFC for a long time. Such a disappointing experience since I loved Kentucky fried chicken and their crispy skin.

This location still seems to be under management from away and it shows a bit. I understand there have been some changes recently in supervision and think it is a positive move for this outlet. The food is still very tasty and properly cooked which is appreciated. They are still only doing takeout orders and another good sign is the line usually stretches our to the highway. I've had good luck as well using the KFC app to order online. It was nice to get an email that your order was ready, show up and go as you can pay online They are very careful to comply with the pandemic regulations and I am very comfortable ordering from here. The staff are very pleasant and work hard to satisfy their customers. If I have any concerns at all, it is that the line can be very slow at times. I suspect new staff are training so please be patient and ensure you thank the staff for working. I would also recommend tipping if you can. A good hint, coming at KFC from the West is recommended. (From downtown). If coming from the East (past A&W) you are in a centre turning lane. The vehicles turning in from the West tend not to cut you any slack and don't think to allow you to cross traffic to get in line.

Possibly the best KFC I have ever eaten at. I normally don't eat KFC in my hometown of Thunderbay but while working and staying at a motel nearby this location is very convenient. I have noticed this KFC gets a lot of business and at first glance one might think its way to busy and avoid going there. I can verify they are extremely fast, polite and caring for their customers and provide probably the best service iv seen in a fast food environment. I will continue to eat here while I work in Kap great job guys the food tastes wonderful!

I understand during covid having the dining room closed but if you drive say a work van like me or even a mildly big truck you cant go thru the drive thru because they have the frame of an awning out...not canvas awning attached to it literally just the aluminum frame. Boston pizza got my 25bucks for lunch instead. Probably for the best as the smoked gouda ravioli I had was superior to anything from kfc anyway and they delivered it curbside to my van!

Long wait time. Food was cold. Place was dirty had not been cleaned for a while. Worst chicken ever, the batter has absolutely no flavor , the gravy has no flavor, all I got was a pile of greasy unflavored chicken. Do not waste your money here....

As far as the food goes it was KFC. But it is one of the oldest looking ones I've been in in a while. The decor was dated, minimal seating. I wouldn't sit in there and eat.

Service is good but the chicken is deformed...I think they are using pigeons now. What happened to normal sized breasts and ribs...I have bought 8 piece here twice now and never get a breast and the ribs now look like some strange narrow thing with a blob of meat on the end....not impressed if this is now what's available at all KFC'S ribs were my go to piece of chicken

Service was good and friendly however even for pressure cooked chicken it was extremely greasy. Need to leave it sit a bit in the basket before you put it in the warmer. Reason for is by the time I got it home from the drive through the chicken fell through the bottom of the box and it almost dissolved the paper bag underneath.

I ordered on the app for contact less pick up with the option of right now for pick up time. I arrived no more than 5 minutes later and the building was locked and they were only serving drive-thru. I called multiple times and someone finally pick up an hour and a half later. I was handed my order as all the staff left for what I can only assume was closing. That was at 730pm. @KFC I suggest you get a district manager looking into this place as I when I was waiting another customer arrived and stated this location regularly closed early.

Place should close its doors OR replace management at the least. Drive thru is closed as usual. Could not even walk to the seating area since people had spilled large beverages on the floor in front of the fountain machine. Wife needed to take out daughter to the bathroom so she did her best to step over this area to find the bathroom was shut down for service....... literally walked out of this nasty dirty dungeon called KFC. Owner should be ashamed of everything going on there and should have his franchise rights pulled for incompetence. Hope someone at corporate reads this.

As we travel a lot over Western Canada KFC is our go to when putting on the miles. Check my other KFC reviews. Sadly this KFC is in our home town and shatters the illusion all KFC's are the same. After a 35 minute wait in the drive thru we got our food and went to eat. Most of it was virtually inedible. As it was a long day picked though the 20 hot wings. The coating was so hard we had to peel it off to be able to eat the chicken. The rest are being put where they belong the garbage. This was the second time in a few months that we have had the same result. There will not be a third. We will keep our KFC eating to restaurants other than this one.

I just went through the drive through and saw workers in the kitchen with no masks on despite our current covid cases jumping from 60 to 81 active cases overnight. I politely asked why they did not have masks on and was told "it doesn't matter, we are really busy" WHAT.... we are fighting a pandemic and your staff cooking food doesn't matter if they wear a mask???????????

Was not pleased with KFC Kenora. We waited in the drive through line of 3 cars ahead of us for 45 min before getting our food. During this time 4 employees were outside at once all taking their smoke break. When we actually got our food it was all squished up and the only thing on it was a small amount of lettuce. I have not had very bad incidents with KFC before bit this one in particular was quite a poor job, I hope they improve.

Kenora ON. Thur & Fri between 6-8pm, during largest international fishing tournament around. Left on two visits Thur w/o ordering, left once on Fri and decided to go through the gamut at 7:50pm Fri to take notes. The drive thru was closed; seating area well utilized, the parking lot was full and lineups were to the door inside on every visit. We waited a few mins for parking and another 20 mins just to order. The lone cashier was interrupted twice by a manager (?) using the register for whatever reason. The three orders ahead of us all had chicken tenders in them and when the person behind us tried to order them at about 8:20, they were told that there was only 2 left and no more were going to be made for the evening. Our order was nicely filled within 10 mins and we left by 8:30. There were customers still seated, the lineup was still to the door and parking lot was still full. Short staffing probably explains the closed drive thru but the customers turning away is frightful. And for the life of me I can't figure out why the chicken tenders were pulled from the menu when the store was open for another hour and a half and the place was packed. Unacceptable.

Twice I have been told they are out of chicken! And they do not honour their advertisements. Advertisement says add ---- for an extra $1.50 and they charge you the whole price of product and a $1.50. Sunday evening at the cabin we decided to go in and get KFC, we looked on line to see hours and it closed at 9:00 PM. We drove there only to find a sign stating “cash only” and dining room closed. We drove back to Main Street to the RBC only to return to see the drive through was now closed. It was 6:30? What’s happening to the service at this store?

Was nice to see KFC in the area again. Chicken was fine. It's KFC. Took some time, like 15 minutes for the order to be ready. When it was not busy, is my only complaint.
