No consistency, every time you order you get surprised with the coffee taste mainly taste like water. Even espresso taste awful I tried second cup other branches and they defiantly have better management from having different coffee daily to having the correct coffee taste ...i'm not sure if it's all related to double the reward month....what a waste. Even there open close hours are not consistent I've been there several times at 6:30 am and they were closed and on many days they close before 5pm!!!

this is a great place for casual business meetings, there's work areas to charge your laptop, it's open air however not too crowded. coffee is always good and service is great.

After their reopening, the efficiency and quality of their staff has really diminished. Don't get me wrong, they're still very friendly and their bilingual skills are impeccable. However, my iced coffee was not properly mixed and I waited 7 minutes while my Almond Berry Rise drink was prepared. The whole time I was holding my iced coffee and watching it melt quickly. It may be better to make the frozen drink that takes longer to prepare before the iced drink that will melt quickly. Just a thought. I also wish Second Cup in general would have more of the chocolate almond croissants. They're always sold out. :( Otherwise, the place is lovely with nice table setups and cozy corner nooks. It's also bright and welcoming.

Great for business meetings, and just hangouts in general. The staff is great, and the pastries are delicious. They also sell Pinkberry frozen yogurt at this location which is nice.

The staff at this location are so sweet and helpful. Fully bilingual, friendly, and efficient employees that are so easy to deal with. The shop is always clean and tidy, and the line usually moves quickly. It's a bit annoying that their hours of operation are such a small window but understandable considering their location and customer base are mostly govt workers in the area. My go to is the London Fog and chocolate almond croissant. Yum!!

Happened upon this coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised. My cappuccino was made to perfection and the pastry was delicious. Seating was comfortable and i liked the location in the museum. High ceilings, large windows. There are three banks of washrooms within easy walking distance. The Rewards card system was not yet operating so I was given 10% off the purchase price.

Iced coffee is absolutely disgusting. Asked for sweetener and I didn't get any, there is more ice than actual coffee and I paid 7$ for it. Went here to save on coffee but you're better off going to starbucks next door is actually LESS pricey and tastes far better. Their bagel is the worst bagel I've ever had as of yet. It is rock hard I can hardly bite through it. Cream cheese tastes like they were running out and just through sourcream in. Also they don't cut the bagle for you you have to do it when you're back at work in your office with the knife you definitely have.

Definitely not Starbucks...Don't even bother going on the weekend. No decaf. No sugar free vanilla syrop. Old coffee. Cold stale breakfast 'sandwiches' (microwave not functional).

I often come here to do some reading because of its good music, pleasant staff, and comfortable seating, hence my four star rating. However, I went here this afternoon and was subjected to overbearingly bad Christmas music playing loudly throughout the shop for the entire time I was there. I eventually got up and left because of the offending racket. If this is what customers are to be subject to for the rest of December then I won't be going back until the holidays are over.

I like second cup. Their hot chocolate is great. Their pastries could be better, Starbucks beats them out on that. This particular second cup is really warm, temperature wise. Ive also found service often slow unfortunately, but I don't think I've been here during peak hours.

I advise against you, go your way, since the Starbucks next door is so much better. First time here, would never go back. Bought a sandwich for 7 dollars and not much meat in it. Ordered a white chocolate raspberry smoothie thought to try the new promotional item. First, there's no price on the board, then when I see the girl who was trying to make it, she obviously doesn't know what she was doing, so the other girl took over. Saw her started the blender, and once it was done, she noticed it doesn't have enough amount to pull into the cup, so she added more ice and blend again. As I expected, end result is a cup of tasteless crushed ice...I returned the drink and ordered a cappuccino, didn't taste good either....should've just get my money back.
