It's the neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is great and roasted in in-house. You'll seriously have a hard time finding better espresso in the city. The home-made baked goods are great, and they carry Donut Monster on weekends. Wonderful, friendly neighborhood atmosphere and attitude. This is exactly the kind of independent small business the Sherman community needs, and it lends a little more energy and vitality to the 'hood. Also, the owner is a truly inspiring person with an amazing set of skills and a unique vision.

I went to vintage roasters to buy roasted coffee beans. On the website they have a nice selection and looked to roast frequently. This is not the case. They only had 3 bags of coffee beans along with 2 bags of decaf. They were roasted 1 month ago. Definitely a hipster looking place. And the coffee I got from Ethiopia is okay. Not sure if its the bean or their process. At the moment its just a coffee house.

Their beans are between $14-16ish depending on origin for a 1lb bag. One of the cheapest roasters in the area, and their beans are always roasted within the week as far as I can tell. I've come in a couple of times and I've never been disappointed. Everyone is very friendly and approachable, and the whole place has a very chill vibe. 5/5, would recommend.

Phenomenal roaster of exceptional and hard to find coffees. I am always on the lookout for exceptionally well roasted coffee beans do I can grind fresh before brewing a perfect cup. They even blend the varieties to make your own custom taste. Like a bit of African with some Mexican and Peruvian, ... they will do that. I was there today and got a fresh bag roasted 2 days ago. Talk about fresh roasted? .... Far better than nitrogen packed and sealed beans that have been sealed for days or months after roasting like some of the well known chains. Get Traditions authentically fresh roasted for supreme flavour.

Good coffee, friendly service, and a comfortable place to sit and drink your coffee. Pastries are fresh and very tasty. Prices are more than reasonable. Lots of natural light pouring in from the front of the shop and lots of space to move around in. There is an area near the front, by the bay window where children can spread out and play, all of which contributes to the cheerful and happy nature of this little gem of a coffee shop.

This is a wonderful coffee shop. Great selection of drinks, both hot and cold. The service is friendly and efficient. The prices are a bit high, but the food and drinks are high quality. The WiFi is excellent. The seating is limited. Overall, a great addition to the neighbourhood.

Jesslyn has created a welcoming space with great coffee and delightful non-coffee offerings. Scones, vegan ganache tarts, and an array of cookies and grilled stuffed croissants are all pleasing. In winter, hot chocolate boasts freshly toasted artisanal marshmallows; in summer, the blueberry gingerade does not disappoint. Highly recommended.

It's what you look for in a coffee shop: fresh pastries, local beans and smiling staff who look like they are still a couple years from jaded. Not so much seating that it turns into twelve Macbook offices, and a little corner to ignore your kids in and spend some you time.

Coffee is really good. Pastries are great too. Lemonade is excellent. London Fog is excellent as per my wife. Great atmosphere inside (pre covid of course). Hopefully the cafe reads these, because the ONLY problem I have is that the lids seem to leak out of the top sometimes. Maybe new lids are worthwhile? However, that wasn't enough to reduce the star rating because I love small businesses and the coffee is great. Have been coming here for awhile and will continue to do so.

Coffee was ok but atmosphere was not for me. It is set up for parents with infant children. Lots of strollers and a baby play area at the front window. Would be a great spot for new mom's and dad's to meet out for a cup of coffee.

My local coffee shop. Always good roasts. I usually get the Mexican Chiapas roast in whole beans for home use and they stopped carrying a roast (La Esperanza) that was the best coffee I've had by far. They have a cell phone app (Android user, not sure about Apple). Their points/rewards program on their app is great. Connect your credit card to it, load it up and pay without a wallet or cash. Very handy. They've sell Donut Monster several days a week. Staff are friendly. Sometimes busy with mom groups. Prices have gone up since the minimum wage hike and they're still reasonable.

Cozy vibes. Amazing coffee and espresso drinks. Friendly and welcoming staff. The food is delicious and fresh, as are the baked goods! I always have a double espresso and it never fails to hit the spot. I've tried the avocado toast which is to die for. Their other toast options rotate and are creative and delicious without a doubt. Cannot recommend this place more. The small nooks at the windows beside the entrance have toys for your little one to keep busy with while you enjoy your coffee. Keep in mind this is a small place, so finding a seat may be challenging at some times more than others, but a nice big community table offers a space for solo folks to sit. Excuse my huge rant, but this place has turned into my second home!

This has so much potential to be a great little spot - food is awesome, coffee is delicious and baristas/owners are super friendly BUT the space is not conducive to anyone other than parents looking for a play place for their kids. I've been in multiple times where children are allowed to literally run around in circles screaming while parents fawn over how cute they are. I love when local shops make spaces available to a broad range of people, but the owners totally snub other customers by creating an environment like this.

I tried a bag of coffee at home that I bought from them and it just wasn’t my thing. I was disappointed but I went back anyways to ask if I was making it correctly. When the owner found out, she swapped me my half-used bag of beans for a full one of another roast. This new roast that she recommended for me has been my go-to for the last couple of years. Good move in my books. Places like this are good for the local community.

A fine establishment. I do not bring any babies inside nor do I inundate the limited footspace, which is cozy don't get me wrong, with any strollers or infant vehicles. Rather, the presence of child play areas in the windows provides me ample mental room to imagine what it would be like to only enjoy a spare few minutes of silence in my life before having to retrieve my troublesome spawn and remove the both of us from the comfort of this calm and inviting cafe in the East end. Best americano in the city. Craig, the head barista, always makes me the drink I order. He wears cool hats and will tell you about his new Patagonia fleece sweater.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Hamilton. Very nice and accommodating staff. The coffee is excellent. Great atmosphere/study spot. Love that they serve Donut Monster too!

Love stopping in here for a cup of coffee. The coffee is always fresh. Of course if you want more than just coffee of course there is Monster Donuts available for the sweet tooth. It's a charming spot with seating for about 10 or so. They accept tap and all the rest of the change you have in your pocket. Enjoy
