2020.10.23. The second coffee stop today was at Phin Coffee in Hamilton. Great coffee. Could not visit inside. We sat in the backyard. Had our regular Hot Americanos and Iced Americanos. Good coffee.

Love Phin! The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about what they serve, literally no complaints. The coffee is fantastic, I never actually order I just ask for a surprise and they always impress me! There's not a ton of seating space but what they have is very cosy and inviting!

Had an phenomenal time chatting with owners Andrew and Jen. This calm and natural setting is brought to life by the conversations started by the 6-hour Kyoto cold brew or one of the several international coffees they sell. Try their Sparkling Matcha for one of the best ways to cool down on a hot August day, or their London Fog to warm up on a Autumn afternoon. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly Recommend.

The Americano was smooth and not bitter-I only needed to add a little milk whereas I normally add sugar and milk. Interior is cozy and the owner is friendly and nice. Just a heads up- the stamp on the to go cups will come off on your skin lol

Andrew, the owner; what a treasure. Pre covid this was my favourite place to hang out and do some work. Lots of regulars, it felt like I was part of Cheers or something. Andrew sources top quality beans from constantly varying source of roasters from around the world and displays an obvious unbounded passion for speciality coffee. If this was in a better location it would be one of the busiest shops in town.

This is a coffee shop that is fully committed to the craft of coffee and does an amazing job of it. I had a beautifully brewed natural-process Kenyan coffee roasted in Oslo, which I’m certain I cannot find anywhere else in Canada. It was full of stone fruit aroma, sweet, dense, and clean, not to mention that a natural-process Kenyan is itself an extremely rare find. If you know specialty coffee, you could certainly appreciate the thought, effort, and expertise put into this gem of a shop.

This coffee joint is a grab n go place primarily i feel, even though there are a few tables and chairs but due to the rona those unfortunately have to remain vacant. Its a nice coffee shop with coffee beans sourced from roasters all around the world. I was really impressed with the wide variety of rare blends for espresso and single origin coffee. Andrew has answers to all your coffee related questions and his passion for coffee shows the moment he starts to answer them. Everything on the menu is priced decent and for what you get, it is simply a bargain. I ordered cappuccino and a drip coffee, and I must say both were great. The cappuccino was made from a blend that was roasted in Australia and I will be going back to purchase a bag of it. You'll find some coffee accessories and machines for sale as well. Truly a place selling great coffee!

There’s a very very good reason that this café is pulling solid 5 star ratings: It’s the coffee. Possibly the best latté in the Golden Horseshoe. Bring it, any barista in Liberty Village. The coffee here reigns supreme. A deft and expert hand, it’s a joy to watch them properly draw a silky espresso shot. Small cosy room can get crowded. But that doesn’t matter: you are here for the coffee.

Phin Coffee Bar is such a cute coffee shop. The owner is very friendly and it's nice to see he loves what he does. I wanted to try something I've never had before and he suggested the lavender latte. Not only was this drink so pretty, it tasted amazing. I can't wait to go back and try his other creations. They also sell take home coffees and teas imported from many different countries. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Andrew - as well as Wes - have never offered anything less than exceptional since I've begun going here. Environment, quality, rotating product, and a memorable experience are only a small list of things you can expect when you come here. The talent and knowledge from the baristas here are simply impressive. To top it off, they genuinely care - not only about the product - but about you specifically. If you are in Hamilton, or surrounding area, I recommend you take the drive or walk to come here, lineup or not, as it's worth it every single time.

I go to Phin every once in a while, and I have always had a great experience. The drinks always taste amazing and the cookies are delicious. Not to mention how kind, thoughtful, and attentive the owner is. However I just had an iced latte with homemade vanilla syrup that sealed my loyalty to this coffee shop. It's not an exaggeration when I say it is one of the best I have had in my life, and I look forward to coming again as soon as possible.

I asked for a coffee recommendation for my at home espresso setup and wow did they nail it. Also really helpful tips on how to dial in this particular coffee. Genuinely wonderful beans. The espresso I ordered was also perfectly balanced. Completely different textural experience than I’m used to, but it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Great cafe in Hamilton (Westdale area). After it being highly recommended and the reviews speak for themselves we made a pitstop on the way to a show @ McMaster today. I had a decaf iced americano and my friend had a hot cocoa. We shared a delicious ginger cookie. The barista was very friendly and seemed highly knowledgeable in the world of coffee. The place was packed and it seemed to bring in some real coffee junkies! Lots of pour overs going on! The vibe is very friendly and chill. Decent amount of seating! Love seeing coffee culture in Hamilton grow. Tip: you can park @ the gym parking (from what i overheard) we didnt know this and parked down the street in residential area.
