If you are looking for a lovely cooked breakfast you must visit this cafe down on halifax waterfront! Super friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything included in the breakfast I'd our choice

There's not a lot of choices for breakfast along the harbour front in Halifax.. which is unfortunate but also gave us the opportunity to try this cute little spot.. Unassuming little coffee shop that also sells a full breakfast along with breakfast sandwiches and the usual breakfast fare all at a great price.. They have a patio out front which offers a great atmosphere and great vibe of the water front whilst eating breakfast.. Service was very fast and friendly and the quality of the food was great ..

Amazing! We were searching for a place near the boardwalk for a quick breakfast and happened to stumble upon this place - so glad we did!!! Hot, delicious food at a great price for being downtown. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

We had lunch here on a beautiful day on the Halifax Waterfront. It looks like a typical restaurant, but the fish and chips were very good. The staff member who served us was quite friendly.

I wish I had known about The Summit earlier. Not only do they serve unbelievable food at affordable prices, but they’re one of the few places that have NOT raised them all for the tourist season. The location could NOT be better - you can walk in straight from Lower Water St. in the big office building with the ground level Map Store (you can’t miss it), then have your breakfast or lunch, then exit the opposite way you came in - and be RIGHT ON THE BOARDWALK. It must also be mentioned that The Summit is the only place I’ve found so far to have a REAL Fisherman’s Platter ($12.95) - you get the fried fish, scallops, shrimp, AND clams - and they’ve got tons of other stuff too: all at rock-bottom prices. Once you start coming here, if you’re staying in the Downtown area, you probably won’t go anywhere else for a pre-dinner time meal.

You must eat breakfast here. The eggs were cooked perfect. Bacon and sausage were great. The gentleman that cooked and served us was very friendly And you cant beat the price.

Great food. Really reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Air conditioning. Outside their doors are over priced boardwalk food vendors. For a quality comfortable place to grab a lunchh as you tour the Halifax Waterfront check out this eatery. A plus 10 rating!

This was a great find. Cheap and cheerful and full of locals. It's always a great sign when those who are in the know chose there. The pancakes were yummy and the big breakfast #1 was super filling. Excellent prices and nice staff.

Had a clubhouse. The meat was very dry and the bacon was burnt. Very disappointing. Probably won't ever come back.

Unpretentious. Inexpensive. Great view. Good food. We had breakfast for two and coffee for under $20 and the photo shows the view. Hard to beat.

We had breakfast on the patio overlooking the waterfront. The bacon and eggs were very good and the view amazing. The service was excellent as well. The prices can't be beat either.
