Very open and bright which is a pleasant departure from what a lot of coffee shops are doing these days. CASH ONLY, Lots of seating, kind of a hipster bohemian Vibe going on. It could be a bit cleaner, tables aren't regularly wiped down, windows would look awesome with a quick wipe, they have one of those nasty tape fly trap things hanging from the ceiling with dead flies on it. Love that its obviously kid friendly. Coffee was good, didn't try food.

My favourite Guelph coffee place. It's hard to beat or recreate the laid back, inclusive vibe present at the Common. While it is cash only, it's worth the stop to an ATM. They are now also selling local baked goods in addition to their fantastic drinks.

Love this place. Coffee's great and their pastries are too. Awesome place for toddlers to explore. The old rotary phones are a favourite toy. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it takes a while to get your order even if you're just 2nd in line. Worth the wait though :)

Great coffee but not the best hours, even half an hour longer open would be appreciated. The place can get quite noisy but in a good way, though often it's quite quiet. Lots of seating, perfect for finishing homework.

Omar was our server and he was amazing. Brought us beer samples. We went here for be well rated poutine. Everything was awesome. Service, food, beverages, etc.This place is delicious and the customer service is great. The haddock fish sandwich is delicious, and fries are hot and fresh. The house vinaigrette dressing on the house salad is very light. As in you barely see it or taste it, but it's not bad.

I am pleased and happy to say that through the blessings of new Priests and music ministers the masses here are wonderful. I enjoy attending and look forward now to hearing the homily and partaking of the wonderful music. We live in a world where it nice to spend Sunday mass among thoughtful people, hearing hope filled messages and receiving the blessings of the lord.

Coffee is consistent here.. with a friendly owner and a warm/neighborhood space. I think the mandatory masking outdoors is a bit over kill (since social distancing is easily achieved) and the location's passive-aggressive drawings about masking... for guests. It's a slippery slope fallacy to say, just because we've done this for x-amount of years, we should be continuing to do this... when this is Politics and we should be encouraging Freedoms. I enjoy their take-out only window otherwise, as to not discriminate people for indoor seating.

As a first timer here felt not very well taken care of to navigate my experience here at this unique coffee shop. I will say the it's a neat place and would have liked to be welcomed more as a first timer and not have a tea served in a glass.

My girlfriend had the lamb shank and it was amazing as was the beef...both dishes had succulent tender pieces of meat falling off of the bone with a rich demi glaze, potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Highly recommended. Excellent service - perfect actually. My first time there and will definately go back!

I'm a regular here. They are a cash only cafe, the baristas are normally forgiving if it's your first time there - just come prepared. The serve expresso, tea, and pastries from local bakeries. It's packed every Saturday during the farmers market. VERY popular. Lots of hipsters and hippie parents. Fun place to grab a coffee when you're not in a hurry
