Terrible service. This place violates the bi-law by not accepting mask exceptions. I have a legitimate medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. They asked me to stand outside in the rain to make an order. Treated like a second-class citizen. I will be filing a human rights complaint.

Their coffee is good but that's it. They have some good staff but a lot of times I was there some of them were so rude. The atmosphere could be better too. So far, everything I tried of their food I didn't like. They also need a microwave to heat some of their pastries before serving them. Again, just good coffee.

I really enjoy a Planet Bean coffee and feel I am making a difference if only in a very small way because of it's commitment to serve delicious Fair Trade coffee. On my last visit I noticed how this location has a bit of an echoey tendency as the staff behind the counter were engaged in a lively conversation between customers that I found a bit distracting with my own conversation with a friend. I love having self serve water available, it has limited seating that can feel kind of intimate at times with other patrons and the washrooms were great!

I only gave 4 stars because the interior of the store could use some love and cleaning, and I actually didn't love my store bought hot coffee as much as I love it when I make it at home.

I’ve been going to Planet Bean for year. I’ve had good experiences until I arrived at the Grange location 10 minutes before close to get beans for my coffee the next day. The doors were locked and the employees waved me away. Poor service

Planet Bean is our go to coffee spot. Just down the road which is good because I refuse to go to a timmys. Fair trade, organic, AMAZING REAL coffee and AMAZING REAL people that run the place too. I also had an Apple roasted scone... it was delicious!!! The stuff is very professional and friendly. I make the weekend trek from Breslau to Guelph every Saturday to re-stock on espresso beans and Chatty Matty coffee from Planet Bean because their coffee is simply the best around. The free Wi-Fi and roomy tables make for a great space to bring a laptop and work. My kids enjoy the peanut butter fudge shortbread bars and I'm a huge fan of their Matcha Green Tea lattes with honey. I appreciate that their coffee is fair-trade, organic and supports community development like women's coffee co-op's etc in Peru. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't made it there yet.

Extremely disappointed with the Gordon branch. My son (10 years old), bought me a $30+ tea travel mug bodum for xmas. 18 days later and about 12 or so teas, the lid does not thread on any more. There is no damage to the threads or the mug itself. I took it to the store on Gordon and all she(the manager) could say was..."sorry, we only accept exchanges up to 2 weeks". She said I would have to contact bodum myself. She wasn't willing to help me in the least. I think that this is absolutely pathetic and real crappy way to treat your customers. I was a first time customer and definitely will be a last time customer. If you can't back up the products that you sell, then maybe you shouldn't sell them. I guess if I want good tea in the future, I'll have to go to Davids Teas in Stone Road Mall. I have never had a problem there and the employees are always happy and more than willing to help in any way possible. I personally would think twice if you were thinking of going to Planet Bean.

Great coffee, both hot and cold. Would not recommend the apple cider - mine was served lukewarm so felt like I paid $4 for a cup of kids apple juice. Their snacks are delicious, especially love the chocolate/nut bar, the chocolate loaf, and the carrot cake loaf. I kind of wish they displayed their baked goods a bit more intentionally - they look a bit sad in the display case.. but don’t let it fool you, because the taste is definitely there. Love that they have local kombucha on tap!

They make the best latte in Guelph, and it comes with latte art on it. I don't even add any sugar or anything to it because it needs nothing but its self. Basically everything here is great though, and they also sell coffee beans. By the way - they roast all their coffee themselves! Also, the staff here are always very open, friendly, and attentive.

Unexpectedly great little coffee place. Prices were reasonable. Stopped by to do some work while in Guelph and was pleased by the quality of the coffee and the friendliness of the staff. When I ordered an espresso the staff helpfully asked what my taste preferences were. They seem to take care sourcing their coffee ethically, but don't compromise on taste. I decided to buy some to take home and the staff were again helpful in selecting the proper grind for my moka pot. I would happily stop by again next time I am in Guelph.

Almost tucked away, but right off of Grange, this Planet Bean location is popular with working groups, readers and coffee lovers. The beans are roasted on site, and a window into the preparation area, affords visitors a look at the immensity of the equipment and the fascinating process of bean to delightful beverage. The set up of the seating results in small nooks and seemed private tables. The environment is conducive to meetings with friends, to coffee bean appreciation, and of the efforts Planet Bean extends to be fair to farmers and local producers alike.
