AMAZING coffee! Their mochas are made with actual melted chocolate, and their fall pumpkin pie lattes have pumpkin purée in them. So delicious, and top knotch quality. AND its less expensive than other comparable commercial coffee places. And it's locally owned!! Thank you for your excellent products and customer service.

I personally wasn't a big fan but it did feel quite athentic. I appreciate what this place is. It's just not my personal favorite. However if you like German coffee's I think you will love this place. Pretty bizarre location though. Go into the tile store and turn left.

Loved it! I have previously lived in Austria an missed the type of kaffe I had there. It was so exciting to fin this place and give it a try, it certainly didn't disappoint. I tried the Vanilla milch kaffe and the Sacher Torte and it was sooo yummy.

A hidden gem, tucked inside a Tile castle ;) Latte's are decadent, my personal favorite is the 7 layer Kaffee! It is so delicious! There pastry's are so good, perfect pairing. But what is most amazing is there soups! A must go place if you want a perfect place to relax and unwind.

This place serves the best coffee I have ever tasted. It's in a very odd location - in a tile store. The store looks unfinished from the outside. The cafe itself is quaint and has an authentic European feel. It's tucked away inside a very industrial looking tile store. The most surprising thing about the cafe are the prices. They are very reasonable. Definitely a place you have to visit in Grande Prairie.

In terms of a cafe experience, 55a has the best ambience than most cafes in GP. The coffee is very good, if you like medium to dark roast, their Dutch cold brew being a prime example (low acidity, heavy body). I don’t love dark or medium roast, but if you do, this is your place. I prefer light roast/Third Wave coffee. But I would hit up 55a over Starbucks any day. Their pastries look amazing, but I cannot comment on taste as i haven’t tried yet.

Out first time at the Kaffee I got a cappuccino and my boyfriend ordered a mocha but they accidentally gave him a mandel. They did offer to remake the mocha, we declined, waste not want not :), no worries though as both coffees were delicious. Maybe they will have regular lactose free milk next time and not just almond milk as alternative? ????????. Beautiful setting. Will definitely come back!

55a Kaffee is definitely a staple of the cafe circuit in town. It's atmosphere is warm and cozy paired with delightfully friendly service. In terms of the quality and taste of their coffee, it is great. It's heavily European, which contributes to the strong, pronounced flavour of their coffee. The roast is on the darker spectrum, which really showcases the bold flavour profile. If you prefer a medium-to-dark roast, this place is definitely for you. Additionally, their menu selection is incredibly impressive, packing a wide array of mouthwatering desserts as well as other beverages. The overall standard they present is very consistent. A good choice any day in comparison to something like Starbucks. Personally, I would have loved 55a Kaffee more if I didn't prefer a light roast over dark. However, it is a good cafe located in a peculiar location (inside a tile store), especially in comparison to others in town. Would definitely reccomend!

Upon the barista's recommendation, I ordered a medium Marzipan Fog, which is almond-y, coconut-y, rose-y perfection.
