This eclectic eatery has always differentiated themselves with an interesting menu in a gruff industry settings that is somehow relaxing. Where else could you find sandwiches with 15 hour pork shoulder, or beef brisket, or breakfast sausage in thin slices? Enjoy your meal with interesting drinks in a sunny spot at the fenced-off parking lot, next to a couple of old Harley's. I like it.

One of my favourite ‘work from home’ places. It’s a hidden gem with a tailored menu, daily specials and lots of tea/coffee options. It’s perfect all year round! Gets the perfect amount of sun and it’s pretty warm in the winters coz of the heaters. The staff is excellent and super friendly and their food is delicious. Also, their mojitos are the best!

Rode down from Courtenay. I was the only motorcycle in their small parking lot shared with other businesses. Food was different but tasty. Customers are expected to disinfect your table when done. Out of 5 tables I saw leaving only 2 did the disinfecting. Large swag section if your interested in prompting the business.

Let’s start off with the first thing I noticed and that would be its atmosphere, it’s strong, it felt like it was out of a movie yet remained genuine. It’s comfortable and honestly I could spend hours there. Second and most importantly the food, it’s excellent It’s got that home cooked down to earth style but is prepared in a way that makes it that much more. The staff is also friendly and the coffee is good, not sure what else I can say.

My over experience is, I was really surprised. The guy cooking the food has lots of passion and really appreciated his efforts. 5/5 The music the night we were there was also good but the joint itself lends itself to a nice night out. I sat at the bar but once the place is crowded, it was hard to see the band. Arrive early and get a seat at a booth or table.

Wheelies is a great little spot where you can catch some wonderfully intimate shows (music or comedy). They also serve tasty food and feature interesting specials quite regularly. You can get great coffee, beer, and cocktails there, too. Wheelies is honestly quite a little gem and well worth checking out, especially if you like small, intimate venues for socializing or catching shows.

Can't believe I've never left a full review here. Wheelies is a bit of a hidden gem. They have a small menu packed with a little bit of everything leaning on comfort food favorites. They also have a fantastic brunch featuring two of three skillets. Service is great. Order at the bar and sit down. They have beer, cocktails and coffee. You can also buy cool wheelies swag to bring home with you. Awesome covid setup with excellent use of microphone. ????

I kept hearing great things about this place but had never been until my band played there last night. I was blown away by pretty much everything about it. The atmosphere, the staff, the food... It was all incredible. I was a little apprehensive thinking it was a "biker" bar but although the decor reflects that (and it's attached to a motorcycle repair shop) it had all sorts of different styles of people and a super friendly and inclusive atmosphere. They have live music and it's just a straight up fun place. And the food is amazing!

Super cool biker shop that just happens to double as a bar & restaurant. The decor is reminiscent of a roadside garage and features motorcycle themed B-movies being projected onto the walls and heavy metal/punk music being played on their sound system. The staff are all tattooed and that adds an authentic charm to the restaurant and makes it feel like a biker bar, a very friendly and relaxing biker bar that is. Coffee is good, served in a biodegradable cup (environmentally friendly, yay!) and the food is homemade comfort food (mac 'n cheese, soup and sandwiches), and is very warming and tasty. My only gripe with Wheelies is that most of the items on the menu are spicy, and for my fellow delicate-taste budded individuals, the menu is a bit limited. I guess I can just ask for no spice on my order next time though.

The vegetarian sandwich has to be one of the best veggie sandwiches in town. "Ginger hoisin mushrooms, black bean pate, pickled carrot and daikon, fresh cilantro, spicy mayo, sourdough ciabatta, can be made vegan" If you are looking for a great sandwich, look no further!
